Hey guys!!!

First of all, thank you so much for the kind words for my sister and my family!! She's doing great! The prayers have worked!

Second, thank you for all the amazing reviews on the last chapter! I CRIED like no other! You guys are so sweet. I love that you all love this family as much as I do.

Third, this is a short Father's Day chapter. I didn't work in anyone but Upstead. It isn't the best, but I did a Mother's Day chapter so I had to include this one. I wrote it in like two hours so it's sucky. But I wanted to get it out regardless.

Please enjoy and drop me a review! Thank you!!

"What are you doing out of bed?!"

Jay turns from the coffee pot with an arched brow. He looks to his wife, confused. "I was getting coffee."

Hailey throws her head back with a groan. "You're ruining it!"

"I'm sorry?" He asks, still confused but slightly amused. "What exactly am I ruining though?"

"This whole big thing I had planned." She throws her arms up dramatically and Jay opts to stay silent, letting her continue. Hailey reaches up and rests the to go back on the counter. "I was going to bring you your favorite breakfast in bed," she says motioning to the bag. Jay's eyes follow hers and he smiles when he sees she had been down the street to his favorite diner. "Then I was going to snuggle up to you in bed, wake you up with a million kisses and tell you how much I love you."

Jay's smile grows wider as she rambles on. "That sounded perfect baby, I'm sorry I ruined it. But I love you. So much."

Hailey huffs, her hand coming to rest on her hip as she stared up at her husband. "You better."

"Oh, I definitely do." Jay chuckles. His eyes look her up and down, taking in her frazzled appearance. She was wearing a pair of black leggings, a oversized academy sweatshirt that he knew belonged to him. Her hair was down, but her curls were wild from the Chicago wind. Her face bare or any makeup.

She was truly the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He was so fucking lucky to call her his wife.

"So what's all this about anyway?" He says nodding to the food on the counter. "Not that I don't appreciate it."

"It's Father's Day.." Hailey mutters quietly.

Jay chuckles as he leans forward, his elbows resting on the counter. His eyes now level with hers. "Ok and?"

Hailey bites her lip as she looks up at him. She locks eyes with him, staying silent as she waits for him to put the pieces together. She chews her lip and watches as his eyes slowly go wide.

"Wait... babe." His lips turn up in a small smile. "You're pregnant?" Hailey barely has time to nod her head before Jay is around the corner and scoops her up in his arms. Her legs automatically find their place around his hips and her arms around his neck as their lips crash together. When they pull away Jay rest his rests his forehead against hers. "You're sure?"

Hailey nods as she brings her hand to cup his cheek. Her thumb strokes his beard lovingly. "Yes baby, and this baby is perfectly healthy. We're not yet out of the danger zone but the doctor doesn't see any problems going forward."

Jay let's out a deep breath he didn't realize he had been holding in. After Hailey had lost the baby last time, he wasn't sure they would be able to withstand it again. "This is the most amazing news. I love you, Hailey Anne."

"I love you Jay." She kisses him softly. "Happy Father's Day!"

2023

"There's my favorite little boy!" Hailey says walking into the nursery to find two month old Logan wide awake in his crib. "Hello handsome!" Hailey says picking the baby up. She moves him to the changing table, changing his diaper before sitting in the rocker and feeding him.

Once she was done she makes her way down the hall. She quietly sneaks into the bedroom, Logan in her arms, and crawls back into bed. She snuggles into Jay's side with Logan snuggled into her chest.

Hailey smiles as Jay's arm finds her waist, even in his sleep, and pulls her closer to him. His forehead comes to rest against the sleeve of her T-shirt, his grip tightens on her. However, bring the light sleeper he is, Jay pops an eye open as he feels squirming against his arm around Hailey's waist.

Jay smiles as he sees his son laying on Hailey's chest, his head turned toward him, his eyes glued to him. "Good morning bud."

Hailey smiles as Logan squirms more, clearly excited to he talked to by his daddy. "Say good morning daddy, and happy first official Father's Day!"

Jay pushes himself up to rest against the headboard, taking Logan from her arms. He kisses Hailey and offers a quick 'morning' before he turns to Logan. "Thank you Logan." He holds him tightly to his chest. "Oh this is the best way to spend my first Father's Day." He places a kiss to the baby's head, his smile growing as his son snuggles further under his chin. "Oh man, I love you kid."

2027

"Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!!" Four year old Logan shouts running from his bedroom and straight to Jay. He hugs Jay's legs tight, halting Jay's movements as he reaches down and ruffles his son's hair.

"Thanks lil man."

And just as fast as he appeared, Logan was gone, running down the hall toward the living room. Hailey appears in the doorway of their bedroom with a laugh.

Jay rolls his eyes. "Remember when he loved me?"

"Oh shut up," Hailey rolls her eyes this time. "He adores you." She walks over to where Jay still stood in the hallway. She reaches up, resting one arm on his arm and one on his chest. She kisses him softly. "Happy Father's Day, babe."

He smiles as she lowers herself from her tippy toes back to her normal height. "Thanks, Hails."

The two turn toward the nursery when they hear a whimper. Hailey turns to start that way, but Jay reaches out and grabs her wrist. She turns to him with a raised eyebrow and he shakes his head. "I got her."

Hailey nods, knowing how much Jay enjoyed the early morning moments with their 11 month old daughter. After all the hell the baby girl had gone through, she has both parents wrapped around her tiny little finger.

Jay heads into the nursery and smiles when he finds Ellie standing up in her crib. When she sees Jay, she begins to jump up and down, laughing. "Dada! Dada!"

"Hey baby girl!" He says reaching down and pulling her into his embrace. He buries his face into her cheek and places a kiss there before blowing the patch of skin. The little girl laughs at the sound and Jay's heart swells at the sound. "That's my girl."

He moves her to the changing table, changing her diaper and getting her dressed for the day before bringing her to rest in the rocking chair in the corner of the room.

He rests Ellie in his arms, snuggling her close as he rocks back and forth. The two snuggle in silence for a few minutes before Logan appears. He makes his way to Jay, and crawls up into Jay's lap.

With a chuckle Jay adjusts his son so that he was snuggled into his left side while his daughter was snuggled into his right. He places a soft kiss to each of their foreheads and thanks the man upstairs that he had these two blessings in this life. He's not sure what he did right to deserve them, but he's glad he has.

Jay knew he needed to head downstairs for breakfast and start the day but he just wanted to take a minute and enjoy his babies. This was his first Father's Day of more than one child. He planned on enjoying every minute of it. Especially while they were still little enough to not hate snuggles.

2030

It was just after midnight when Jay got home. The team had caught a hell of a case and their bust had lasted late into the night. It was around 10:45 when they had finally finished up their crime scene but there was a shit load of paperwork to be done before anyone could call it a night.

Hailey had left around 6 that night and headed home to tend to the kids. She and Jay had made the decision when they had Logan that on nights like the one they were having tonight, that someone would always be home at a decent hour for dinner, bath, and bedtime. It was usually Hailey, not that either complained, but Jay had been needed on this particular case.

Jay grabs a slice of left over pizza from the fridge before making his way through the dark house toward the steps. He reaches the top and turns to head into his and Hailey's bedroom just as he hears baby coos coming from the nursery.

Jay smiles slightly and heads in to find his eight month old daughter Kennedy wide awake in her crib, cooing away to the mobile above her bed.

"What are you doing awake, young lady?" He asks as he reaches down and tickles her belly. She cackles and the sweet sound causes Jay's smile to grow. He never grows tired of hearing his children's laughs. "Come here baby girl."

Jay takes a seat in the rocker in the corner and the two spend the next twenty minutes "talking" before Jay glances down to find the baby girl asleep. He chuckles, and pushes himself up to place her back in his crib, figuring he had done his job.

He turns to the door and smiles when he sees Hailey standing against the frame with a smile of her own on her face. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough." She assures him. He walks over to her and she reaches up and brushes his hair out of his face. He was in serious need of a haircut. Between work and life with three kids, who had the time? "You're such a good daddy. Happy Father's Day, Jay."

2033

"If you love daddy, you'll let him sleep." Jay groans shoving the pillow over his head. Logan chuckles as Ellie and Kennedy exchange a evil smirk. Without warning the two jump on him, causing Jay to groan out on pain. Logan quickly joins them as Jay rolls around on the bed trying to get away from his demon children.

"HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!" Logan shouts.

"HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!!" Ellie exclaims.

"YEAH. DADDY'S DAY!" Kennedy echos.

Hailey walks into the bedroom, a twin in each arm. She shakes her head at her three eldest children. "I told you to wake him up, not beat him up!!"

Jay let's out another groan as Kennedy's elbow collided with his stomach.

"Alright!" Hailey shouts, her voice hitting mom tone. Logan, Ellie and Kennedy all jump up and look at her. They knew better when they hear that tone of voice. "Everyone leave dad alone! Go downstairs! We'll be there in a few minutes and I'll start breakfast."

All three hop off the bed and head for the door, groaning in protest. Jay let's out a sigh of relief. Hailey laughs as she makes her way over to the bed. "Well I would say happy Father's Day, but that didn't warrant the best start for the day."

Jay chuckles. He turns his head to look at his wife. "Hey, my two favorite children who cause me no physical harm." He says reaching out and grabbing for them. "Gimme."

"You're so stupid," Hailey laughs as she allows him to take both twins and pull them into his embrace. She watches as he kisses both of their heads and mutters softly to them before snuggling them to his chest.

"Best Father's Day ever."

2034, present day

Jay rolls over, his arm tightening around Hailey's waist and pulling her into his chest. He kisses her bare shoulder before peeking over it to the bedside table. His eyes widen when he sees its after eight in the morning, surprised that not only his children let them sleep that long, but that his body let him as well. He couldn't remember the last time he had done so.

He smiles as Hailey turns in his arms, burying her face in his bare chest. She lets out a groan as he places a kiss to her forehead.

"Wow good morning to you too, Hailey Anne."

His heart skips a beat as he feels her place a kiss to his bare chest. "Good morning Jay," She says running her hands up his side. He shivers.

"Jesus, Hails! Your hands are freezing!" He laughs and she nods, snuggling further into his embrace. "It's almost 9 in the morning. Should we check to see if the kids are still breathing?"

Hailey shakes her head. "It's the vacation. It throws everyone off. Don't complain, enjoy the quiet."

"I guess you're right." He says kissing her forehead once more before laying his head back on the pillow. He closes his eyes, deciding to get a little more rest with his wife in his arms.

He was just about asleep, and could feel Hailey's soft snores against his chest, when he hears arguing coming from the other side of the cabin. It was no doubt Logan against his sisters from the sounds of it.

Hailey lets out a groan as Jay pushes the comforter back to climb out of bed. Breaking up a fight wasn't his idea of a perfect Sunday morning but it sounded like he didn't have a choice.

Then, he hears the scream of the twins.

Hailey mutters to herself as she too pushes herself out of bed. "So much for peaceful vacations."

"Why did we want kids?" He asks reaching for his shorts and slipping them on.

"Not a clue," she mutters as she slips his T-shirt on. "But you know you'd miss it." Jay just nods.

The screaming and arguing continues to get louder.

"Well, happy Father's Day Jay."

Jay rolls his eyes. He's super thankful he had the vasectomy and he was officially sterile. He loved his kids, but these 5 were more than enough.
