Author's Note:
CLARIFICATION: Yes I know Neo is mute. She was just taunting Mercury in her head.
Also, there's nothing like finding an amazing SI fic that isn't a fantasy trip and is actually a story where a fan who knows everything tries to fix things. But of course it has an all powerful bullshit deity character that randomly comes in to tell the MC not to do things that I really wanted to see happen.
SI fics two biggest problems are 1. Ego and 2. Immortal godlike beings existing for some dumb reason. Unless it's an in universe god and it makes sense, I can't stand it. What about you?

Chapter 15- Neighborhood Watch
"They look more like a military than a security force though. I'm starting to suspect they're not project freelancer." Weiss hummed.
"What?" Ruby tilted her head.
"The project freelancer grunts were a security force, those were soldiers." Weiss gestured to the screen.
Blake hummed, "There are still a lot of similarities in the armor. I still think they're related or possibly descended from Project Freelancer."
"Neighborhood Watch" appeared on screen with the theme.
"They have those? I thought those were just for Grimm." Jaune frowned.
"I guess they have their own version." Ruby shrugged. "Patch's watch was so cool! A bunch of retired Huntsmen and Huntresses patrolling the town like Vacuan sheriffs!"
Fade in. Cut to Lopez and Lopez 2.0 outside the Red base.
Lopez 2.0: "¡¿Un espantapájaros?![A scarecrow!?]"
Lopez: "Si. [Yep.]"
Lopez 2.0: "¿Te dejaron ahí pasando el rato con las verduras?[They just left you hanging out there with all the vegetables?]"
Weiss crossed her arms and huffed.
Lopez: "Toma noventa días para cultivar maíz. [It takes about 90 days to grow corn.]"
Ren nodded, "Hm I think they should be the ones to farm, not Simmons."
"As long as neither become another scarecrow." Weiss commented.
Lopez 2.0: "¡Eso es terrible![That's terrible!]"
Lopez: "No era lo mejor.[It was not the best.]"
Weiss's lips tightened.
Ruby glanced at Weiss's face and a thought came to her. I wonder if she would accept Penny for what she is… I won't tell her because Penny asked me not to. But out of everyone- well no. Everyone here would accept that Penny is a person. Ruby smiled. Yang would go with the flow, Weiss would think that Atlas is the best and because she likes Lopez so much she wouldn't have a problem with it. Blake.. well Blake has dealt with people not seeing her as a person her whole life. Ren would be philosophical, Pyrrha would.. hm I don't know she might not believe Penny could have a soul at first but she'd be happy to get to know her. Then Jaune and Nora would just think she was cool!
Sarge is seen near the robot parts.
Sarge: "Hey, Lopezs! Why don't you two come over here and gimme a hand. I always gotta get on my knees to work on this thing. But I figured it'd be easier if you just held it at chest level instead."
Lopez 2.0: "¡Sí, señor![Yes, sir!]"
Lopez: "Espera. Hay una cosa que me gusta de esta gente. [Wait. There is one thing about these people I do like.]"
Weiss raised an eyebrow, "There is?"
"Well, he is here." Ruby smiled, recalling Sarge's speech.
Lopez 2.0: "¿Qué? [What?]"
Lopez: "¡Sargento! ¿Por qué no quieres ponerte en rodillas?¿Tienes miedo que traerá de vuelta recuerdos reprimidos?[Hey, Sarge! Why don't you want to get on your knees? Afraid it might bring back some repressed memories?]"
Sarge: "Ha! Lopez, you ol' kidder you. Now come on, time's wastin'."
Yang and Weiss snorted with laughter.
"So that's why he's here!" Ruby giggled.
"I guess that's the benefit of no one understanding you." Blake chuckled.
Lopez 2.0 looks at lopez then at Sarge.
Lopez 2.0: "¡Oye Sargento...apestas![Hey, Sarge... You smell!]"
"The old Lopez has corrupted him." Blake chuckled.
"He's opened his eyes." Weiss smirked.
"They're like brothers." Pyrrha smiled.
Sarge: "Oh, don't tell me he's got you in on it too. Ha ha, Lopez you are rambunctious."
"Wait, does he understand them and just think they're joking?" Nora asked. "Cool! Classic Sarge."
Lopez: "A veces él conforma conversaciones enteras. ¡Eres un inútil![Sometimes he makes up entire conversations. You suck!]"
Sarge: "It is a lovely day, isn't it?"
Nora sagged, "Aww. He doesn't understand them."
Ren, Pyrrha, Weiss, and Blake chuckled.
"That is a good response to an insult." Ren nodded.
Lopez 2.0: "Y no eres inteligente. [And you aren't smart.]"
Sarge: "Thank you for noticing."
Weiss held a hand to her mouth as she snickered, "It's not hard to notice."
Nora giggled a little too.
Sarge: "I have been hitting the gym."
Lopez: "Tu madre es tan gorda que usa una escala de richter. [Your mother's so fat she uses a richter scale.]"
"I don't know what a richter scale is but it sounds like a lot." Yang chuckled.
Lopez 2.0: "¡Y ella es una puta! [And she's a whore!]"
"He's getting confident with his insults." Weiss grimaced a little. "More vulgar."
"Go Lopez dos point O." Yang chuckled.
Sarge: "He, he. You two are like a couple of three stooges. Well, whenever you're done goofin' off head on over. I just need to make a few more adjustments."
"A couple of three stooges? Wouldn't that mean six stooges?" Pyrrha asked.
"They are all terrible with numbers." Weiss facepalmed.
"Hey to be fair, math sucks." Nora crossed her arms. Jaune nodded.
"It's not that bad, I like the math that I have to do for engineering." Ruby commented, "The physics of my sweetheart are so cool! I can always imagine the numbers in my head whenever I practice with her."
Lopez: "Quédate conmigo, chico. Y te irá bien. [Stick with me, kid. And you're going to be just fine.]"
Cut to Washington approaching Blue base.
Washington: "Here goes nothing."
Freckles walks in front of him.
Freckles: "Agent Washington."
Washington: "Oh, Freckles. I- I didn't see you there. Man, for a behemoth you hide really well."
Blake hummed, "He can't move silently, he probably camouflages himself and stays in one spot. Waiting to ambush his prey."
"Ohhh he's a camper." Ruby nodded, Jaune and Yang understood what she meant instantly.
Freckles: "You have failed to uphold your duty to Captain Caboose."
Washington: "But I was just on my way up now. Ready to clean the base!"
Freckles: "You lack diligence, Agent Washington."
Pyrrha frowned, "Washington is the pinnacle of persistent effort."
Blake nodded, "He gave up everything, even his morals, to track them down."
Pyrrha chuckled weakly, "Not what I had in mind but.. I suppose so."
Washington: "What?"
Freckles: "You question authority, Agent Washington."
Wash raises his gun and slowly backs away.
Washington: "Um, Caboose! Can you come out here?!"
Blake gripped her knees, "I hope Wash finished whatever he was working on."
"I hope it's not as bad as we think it is." Pyrrha added.
Freckles' cannons start powering up.
Freckles: "You must be eliminated, Agent Washington."
Washington: "Caboose!"
Caboose appears on the balcony.
Caboose: "Hello!"
Washington: "Your pet is trying to kill me!"
Blake glared at Ruby and Yang. "I can sympathize."
"Don't compare Zwei to Freckles." Yang crossed her arms.
"If Zwei wanted to kill you, he would." Ruby added with a wide smile.
"Aww such a cute baby, I miss him." Weiss gushed.
Caboose: "What? That does not sound like Freck... Hey Freckles, Freckles what are you doing?"
Freckles: "Agent Washington has failed to meet the minimum requirements of Blue Team service and is no longer fit for duty. He must be eliminated."
Caboose: "See, he's just doing whatever it is that he just said."
Blake facepalmed.
Wahington: "Caboose, please come here, I need to talk to you!"
Caboose: "Agh, probably wants to talk about what an awesome leader I am."
"Something like that." Blake chuckled.
Pyrrha sighed, "I had hoped Caboose would be a good leader. Though he was right about one thing, bad guys are watching them."
"If only Wash had been more diligent in his duties." Nora shook her head.
Blake rolled her eyes, "If Wash had time to work without fear of being killed by Freckles he may have contacted someone who could actually help. Or he may have noticed someone watching them."
Wash has a staredown with Freckles.
Washington: "Ahem"
Caboose: "Yes, hello, what seems to be the problem Agent Washington?"
Washington lowers his weapon and looks at Caboose. He then turns to Tucker and takes a deep breath.
Washington: "*sighs* I'm sorry Caboose. I'm sorry your best friend left you without saying goodbye."
The tone shift caught Ruby, Nora, and Yang off guard.
Washington: "Maybe he thought you would try to stop him or maybe it was just too hard for him to tell you but, no matter the reason, he's still gone."
Yang winced, what reason could she have that was so important she couldn't tell Dad? Couldn't tell me? If it was too hard to tell us then why was it so easy to leave?
Ruby sagged, her limbs felt weak. Yang always tries to hide it, but knowing that her mom left really hurt her. I guess it's easier for me in a way. I know why our mom left, and if she knew.. she wouldn't have abandoned us. Ruby sighed.
Washington: "He left you, (Cut to Tucker) both of you. (Back to Wash) I don't really do emotional things and I hoped you might be able to get over this by yourselves so I left you alone, and instead of coming to terms with what you lost, you replaced it with, well, the first thing you found."
Pyrrha smiled, "Caboose can be mature sometimes, but I suppose he's done this before."
Blake's eyes widened, "He lost Church and immediately looked for a way to bring him back, he replaced Church with Epsilon. Then when Epsilon-Church went into the memory unit he replaced him with Wash."
Pyrrha nodded. "After Church died or left so many times I think it was too much.. he even called Wash Church for a while."
"Because the armor color confused him." Blake rolled her eyes with a grin. Pyrrha chuckled.
Washington: "But I should have been there for you Caboose *sighs* because, that's what friends do for each other…"
Ruby beamed, "Yeah.. it is."
"That was surprisingly sweet." Weiss nodded.
"Wash has come a long way." Blake smiled. "A very long way."
Freckles: "Captain Caboose is not your friend, he is your commanding -"
Caboose: "Uh, no we're- we're all friends here Freckles, it's, you know."
Washington: "That's right, and as your friend I want to say that I'm sorry. I know it's not much but, I made you this."
Washington moves, revealing a blue Mark V helmet on the ground.
Caboose: "Oh my god! My old helmet!"
Caboose runs to the helmet.
Blake chuckled, "I thought Wash was going to hurt Caboose."
"That's so sweet and awesome!" Ruby threw her hands in the air. "That's what he was building!"
"He acted so suspicious, all he had to do was add the mwah ha ha ha laugh and he would have sold it." Jaune commented.
Nora snickered and tapped her fingers together in an evil villain gesture. "Caboose will be my friend and will accept my sincere apology mwahhahaha!"
Blake shook her head, "Caboose's and Wash's roles have reversed."
Pyrrha chuckled, "Caboose's plans in the past to become Church's best friend were less successful."
"Yeah he killed Sarge last time." Nora giggled.
Freckles: "Captain Caboose, you should return to your duties."
Wash stands next to Caboose.
Washington: "I know you really like Freckles, Caboose. But you have to understand that he's very dangerous. He's not a puppy anymore... A kitten? Or... He's really big."
Caboose: "Yeeaah... He blew up a car."
"Caboose may be ready for the duties of owning a pet. But he's not ready for the responsibility of command." Pyrrha commented. Jaune and Ruby nodded in agreement.
Washington: "I remember that."
"We remember it too, poor kitty." Yang looked down.
Weiss looked confused for a second, "What- oh. Puma." She shook her head.
Caboose approaches Freckles.
Caboose: "Freckles, you- you are one of the best machines I know. And that is saying something because I have been friends with a lot of machines."
"He was friends with Sheila." Jaune started to list.
"Though he wanted to be more than just friends." Yang laughed.
Jaune continued. "Church had a robot body for a while.. Do you think he thinks Lopez is a friend?"
Weiss shrugged.
"And then there's Andy." Jaune finished. "Unless I'm forgetting anyone."
"With that amazing lineup I can see why he chose Freckles." Yang chuckled.
Caboose: "But... From now on, I- I- I think you should listen to Agent Washington."
"That's mature of him." Pyrrha chuckled. "The best leaders know when to follow."
Weiss chuckled, "With that logic, in a way. I'm a better leader than Ruby."
"Hah yeah you tell yourself that." Ruby murmured.
Freckles: "Are you sure?"
Caboose: "Yeah, yeah he's very smart and really nice."
Blake smiled and nodded.
Freckles: "...Acknowledged."
"Freckles sounds like he's almost sad that Caboose won't be captain anymore." Jaune noted.
"He sounds disappointed." Ren nodded.
"Yeah! Because robots are people! Just because they have nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts like us, doesn't make them any less of a person." Ruby grinned.
"…Where did that come from?" Yang asked.
Ruby's eyes widened and she blushed, "Uhh nowhere! Nowhere at all!"
Yang's eyes narrowed, "Uh huh."
Caboose: "You can be leader again if you want to, Wash. It's... It's not as much fun as it looks. I think I'm more like the dashing second in command kind of person. Y'know, all perks, no work."
"That actually sounds really cool! Jaune can I be your second?" Nora asked. "Second petty officer lieutenant Valkyrie at your service!"
Jaune stared at her, "I don't think that's a real position, and Pyrrha's already my second in command."
Pyrrha waved with a smile. "Sorry Nora."
Nora pouted, "I'm going to cross my arms." And she was true to her word.
Weiss turned to Ruby "As your second in command I promise to actually work." She swore.
Ruby giggled, "I don't even do work! Unless we're in a fight we all just vote on things to do."
"Well as the leader of toon-"
"Not officially recognized." Blake pointed out.
"Of toon rainbow." Weiss continued. "I expect you as my second in command to actually do work."
"Aww." Ruby sagged.
Washington: "Thank you, Caboose."
Cut to Tucker watching from the base. Sobbing is heard. Zoom out to reveal Simmons next to him.
Simmons: "(sniffle) I wish my team was this emotional."
"Simmons has it covered, I'm glad Blue team are the drama queens." Nora grinned.
"Drama queens? Red team has Donut which is enough said." Yang pointed out.
"I mean they have all the story stuff." Nora explained.
Tucker: "Jesus Christ."
Tucker walks away. Cut to Caboose wearing his new helmet.
Caboose: "Ah! It fits perfect! And look, someone left some gum!"
Ruby grimaced, "Gum doesn't work as glue, I'd know. I've tried."
Tucker approaches Washington.
Tucker: "Pretty sneaky, Wash. A couple of mushy words, a present and you're right back up at the top."
Washington: "Nothing sneaky about it. I meant every word."
A feeling of warmth swelled in the chests of everyone in the room. It surprised them.
"Wash has come so far. Caboose was the first one he took with him to investigate the Meta." Blake looked at Pyrrha.
"And Caboose was the one who wanted him to join their team." Pyrrha nodded. "Their friendship is very strong."
Blake laughed almost a little bitterly, "I can't believe I thought Wash was going to destroy Freckles. I thought Caboose would be hurt and blue team would fall apart completely."
"Instead they're more united than ever." Ruby grinned.
Ren nodded, "Their journey together has bonded them all. They are all different people. Blue team has grown to be much more than we ever thought they could be."
"I used to think they were all worthless idiots, now I know they are very capable and trustworthy idiots." Weiss chuckled.
"Hey I always liked them." Yang crossed her arms, "It took you and Blake a while to warm up to them."
"The characters in this show are completely different from any kind of character I've seen before." Blake defended, "And it took me a long time to see how great that was."
"I'll admit they were hard to stomach at first." Pyrrha agreed. "But from the beginning Caboose was the sweetest and most naive, it was fun to watch any scene with him in it."
"If you told me they would have a moment like this when we first started watching the show. I would never have believed it." Weiss admitted. "How have those idiots grown to be this?"
"Well to be fair, they still have some bad habits left over from the first season." Yang pointed out with a snicker. "Caboose almost got Wash killed."
Pyrrha laughed, "Almost, I'll take it as a sign that he's matured."
The helmet is heard shorting out. Cut to Caboose with a black visor.
Caboose: "Uh oh. I- I can't see anything. Hello?"
Tucker: "I think you still need to work on your craftsmanship, though."
Caboose: "(offscreen) OH MY GOD I'M BLIND!"
Washington: "One step at a time, Tucker."
Caboose: "Uh... Can- can people see me? I can't see them!"
Pyrrha chuckled, "He's not facing a rock this time."
Jaune laughed, the show was so simple back then.
Tucker: "Well, at least we don't have a killer robot to worry about anymore."
Cut to the the Reds' new robot powering up. Its engine rumbles and smokes.
Sarge: "Ha ha! Listen to that lady purr."
"Red team, always here to disappoint." Weiss pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I'm impressed by their ability to cause half of all their problems." Blake chuckled.
"The other half is either caused by Church or Project Freelancer." Ruby commented.
"Red team has grown too, but only when it truly matters." Ren noted.
"They really have caused almost half of all their problems. They stuck the bomb in Church, they killed Tex before that. They deleted the blues from command servers, made another killer robot which is a problem in progress." Weiss sighed. "It is impressive in a twisted way."
Donut: "Nice work, Sarge!"
Cut to the Reds and Doc.
Grif: "Nice work? It looks like shit! It's half the size. And it's on fire!"
Yang and Ruby laughed at that line.
"Aww what happened to it!?" Nora whined.
"Grif abandoned a lot of its parts." Ruby explained. "That's why every screw counts."
Sarge: "Yeah. Turns out we were missin' some pieces. Which reminds me…"
Sarges beats down Grif.
Grif: "Ow!"
Sarge: "Donut, get me a glass. (Punches Grif) I'm makin' orange juice. (Punches Grif)"
Grif: "Ack! Every time!"
Nora giggled, "I want some."
"Anything that leaks out of grif has to be toxic, no thanks." Weiss gagged.
Donut: "Getting a jump on the flu season! Good thinking sir!"
Doc: "Wait, that's a thing?"
Cyclops: "(stuttering) C-c-Cyclops online."
Sarge: "Huh, I knew she was a beautiful lady."
Blake grimaced, recalling his serial killer talk. I hope Adam doesn't try to come after me. But he has the Fang to occupy him. As cowardly as it sounds, I'm glad he hates humans more than me. Blake shuddered. He cares more about spite and revenge than the rights he claims to believe in. He's just as bad as the people who look down on us. If he had his way, he would have the roles reversed with no changes. Just so he could rub it in humanity's face.
Grif gets up.
Grif: "Cyclops?"
Doc: "Looks more like a praying mantis to me."
Jaune, Ruby, Yang, and Blake chuckled at the vehicle names gag.
Donut: "No, she said 'C-C' Cyclops. I think it's Italian."
Cyclops: "E-e- error. H-hardware malfunction."
Sarge: "Welcome to Red team, Cici! Now if you can-"
Cyclops: "Enemy soldiers detected."
"She's just like Freckles." Ruby grinned.
"I ship it." Yang quipped.
Grif: "Uhh, is it supposed to do that?"
Sarge: "I admire your enthusiasm, Cici. But you've only got one enemy. It's a big robot over at-"
The Reds and other targets are shown marked as hostiles on Cyclops' HUD.
Cyclops: "Negative. Motion tracker detects 16 hostiles."
"16?" Blake frowned.
"Of course the robot is bad at math too!" Weiss threw her hands up.
"It is malfunctioning pretty badly." Ruby nodded.
Blake's eyes narrowed.
Sarge: "Wait, what?"
Cyclops aims at the Reds.
Cyclops: "D-d-deadly force authorized."
Doc: "I'm not hostile! I'm a pacifist! Kill them!"
Blake burst into a fit of laughter.
"Inciting violence is still violence. That isn't very pacifistic of him." Ren shook his head.
"Can't spell pacifist without fist." Nora giggled.
Blake wiped her eyes, "That's my favorite line from him so far."
Ren chuckled as well, "It is ironic."
Grif: "Hey!"
Cyclops: "E-engaging targets- t-targets…"
Cyclops shuts down.
—Illusion of a false identity— Not Canon SS—
Emerald's breath hitched, she recognized the voice as her own. This malfunctioning robot in this ridiculous show was her.
Cinder's lips tightened, she was almost snarling before she regained her composure. With a deep breath she smiled. "Well Emerald, it appears you have a voice in this show as well."
Mercury burst out laughing, "Wait seriously? That robot is you? Wow."
Emerald huffed, "It's not like I had a choice, I never did anything. Ma'am I swear I have no idea how my voice-"
Cinder held up her hand, "Yes I know, don't worry."
Emerald noticeably relaxed but she refrained from breathing out in relief.
Cinder "It is intriguing nonetheless." Intriguing that Emerald would get a voice while I have not. Oh well, it is a minor annoyance, there is no use in getting jealous. After all, this Cici character won't last. I have no doubt about that, if and when I do appear in the show with my voice. I will likely be a main character. I deserve it, this show appeared to is for a reason. Why shouldn't I appear in it?
Sarge: "Damn. She ran outta diesel."
Doc: "You converted it to diesel?"
"He ran out of D batteries." Nora snickered.
Sarge: "Of course. Looks like she needs a bigger fuel tank."
Grif: "Fuck that! She needs to be thrown off a cliff!"
Sarge: "Well, I don't see how that'll solve the fuel problem."
Weiss facepalmed, Nora and Ruby laughed.
Donut: "Hey, guys... There's eleven of us in the canyon."
Blake nodded, "I knew that meant something."
Grif: "Wow, Donut. That's one more than ten! Good job, buddy."
"It looks like Grif and Donut know math at least." Weiss commented warily wondering what was happening.
Sarge: "I dunno if I'd really count Lopez."
Weiss huffed.
Donut: "But she said sixteen."
Jaune hummed, "Sarge, Simmons, Grif, Donut, Doc, Lopez, Lopez dos, Wash, Caboose, Tucker, and Freckles. That's the eleven Donut mentioned."
"So who's the other five? Locus and Jaune?" Yang asked.
"His name probably isn't Jaune." Jaune blushed.
Blake's eyes widened, "Locus is going hunting. It's Locus and the four soldiers he recruited. So much has happened this episode I forgot about them."
"Oh yeah.. uh oh." Ruby turned back to the screen.
"And your character isn't there to help them." Pyrrha turned to Jaune.
Pause. Gunfire is heard at the other end of the canyon.
Grif: "Oh shit…"
Cut to Locus' soldiers attacking Blue base. Tucker fires back from cover.
Tucker: "Who the fuck are these guys?!"
Caboose wanders around on the battlefield.
Caboose: "Why are we shooting off fireworks? Is it someone's birthday?"
"Wash really needs to work on his engineering skills." Ruby shook her head.
Washington: "Freckles, cover Caboose!"
Freckles crouches in front of Caboose, shielding him.
Caboose: "(singing) Happy birthday to me…"
How old is he anyway? Pyrrha wondered.
Cut to Simmons standing up from cover.
Simmons: "Stop shooting! We're friendly!"
A few shots hit near Simmons and he ducks down.
Simmons: "That's the opposite of what I said!"
Tucker: "Fuck this!"
Tucker stands up and kills one of the soldiers.
Washington: "Wait! We don't know who they are!"
"At this point shoot first and ask questions later, they're trying to kill them." Yang commented.
Tucker: "They're the guys that are gonna kill us if we don't kill them first!"
"Exactly, what he said." Yang nodded.
"Yeah." Nora nodded.
"I agree with Tucker but I would have tried to find a way to fight back without killing them." Ruby commented.
Jaune nodded, "Yeah me too."
Washington: "...Freckles, take them out!"
Freckles: "Engaging targets."
Ruby sagged, "Aww he didn't say firing main cannon."
Freckles fires his missiles and kills all three soldiers.
Freckles: "Primary threat eliminated."
Cut to Red Team rushing over.
Sarge: "What in Sam Hell is goin' on over here!?"
Grif: "Who were those guys?"
Washington: "We don't know."
Tucker: "They just showed up and started shooting!"
Lopez 2.0: "Vaya...de repente me siento mal de no advertirle a nadie.[Oh, man... I suddenly feel bad for not warning everyone.]"
"It's not as if they'd understand, or for that matter even listen." Weiss rolled her eyes.
Sarge: "Shut up, Lopez. This isn't the time for jokes."
Lopez 2.0: "Y ahora me arrepiento de nada. [And now I regret nothing.]"
Weiss and Blake snickered.
A sniper's crosshair is seen lining up on Wash.
Blake tensed.
Washington: "Let's move inside. We need to find cover in case there's more hiding out in the-"
Felix jumps out and deflects the sniper shot with his hardlight shield.
Felix: "Run!"
Nora gasped, "It's you!" She pointed at Jaune.
"The mysterious Jaune character!" Yang waved her hands around in a flourish.
His voice is so deep, it's strange. Pyrrha chuckled.
"That shield is so cool!" Jaune stared star eyed. Completely ignoring everything else on the screen.
Ruby held up her scroll, "I already took a pic and sent it to Velvet. She loves making hard light stuff."
"I'm quite happy with my hard light dust shield." Pyrrha grinned. "I'm sure you will be too." She said to Jaune.
Simmons raises his gun.
Simmons: "Look out! It's another one!"
Felix gets shot in the leg and crumples over.
Felix: "Gah! SON OF A BITCH!"
Pyrrha and Jaune winced.
Nora gasped, "How dare he!?"
"Calm down, it's not Jaune." Ren advised with a tired sigh.
Jaune chuckled nervously, "If I got shot.. I don't think I'd take it as well as he did."
Ruby held in a giggle, remembering his screams from initiation after the deathstalker found him and Pyrrha.
Simmons: "Wait. I'm confused."
Felix: "*Growls* What are you doing?! I said run!"
Locus: "Excellent work soldiers."
Locus uncloaks nearby.
Locus: "You killed my men. I suppose that makes you the real deal."
"The real deal?" Yang wondered.
Simmons: "Okay, now I'm really confused."
Locus: "Quiet! All of you, come with me."
Washington: "...And why would we do that?"
Locus: "Because if you don't come now I'll have to take you later."
"I get the sense that he doesn't like to waste time." Ren commented.
"They kicked his soldiers' butts, he couldn't take them if he tried." Ruby smirked.
Felix: "Fuck off!"
Locus: "You, shut your mouth and be glad I missed your head."
Felix: "Oh my god, you are such a douchebag!"
Yang laughed, "I like your character."
Ruby and Nora nodded in agreement.
"He doesn't talk like me.. he doesn't seem like me at all." Jaune commented. He's so cool!
"Taking a bullet for someone? That seems like you, he's brave." Pyrrha complimented. "Though please try not to do what he did."
Tucker: "Yeah what he said!"
Locus: "This is your last chance."
Washington: "...Freckles!"
Freckles fires at Locus but he cloaks and disappears.
Grif: "Holy shit, did you see that?"
Caboose: "No! What happened?! Please describe it to me! Use only small words!"
Pyrrha chuckled.
Felix: "Um, any of you know how to patch up a leg?"
Doc: "I'll go get some orange juice."
Doc walks off.
Felix: "Wait, that's a thing?"
The episode ends
"Their lack of medical knowledge still astounds me." Weiss sighed. "Orange juice for a bullet wound."
"Don't knock it until you try it." Yang laughed.
Weiss rolled her eyes, "I'd never allow myself to be shot with my aura down."
"I don't want to get shot even with aura." Jaune winced. "My leg hurts for some reason."
Pyrrha nodded sympathetically, "Sometimes when Carolina would get hurt I imagined myself getting hurt in the same places. I couldn't help comparing myself to her."
Jaune nodded, "Yeah, but the more he talks the more different he sounds. You and Carolina kind of talked the same when she wasn't that angry or being mean."
Pyrrha chuckled, "We certainly sound more alike than you and this new character."
NOTICE: Next episode is FAQ. Frequently Asked Questions. What are some questions you want the characters to answer?
Ex: Favorite/worst character? Favorite/worst team/group? Favorite/worst moment?
POLL: And again, I have a new Poll up on my profile. Coincidentally the story I want to write next at the moment is also the one most voted for right now. The votes don't factor into what I want to write but I'm still curious about which story idea you all like. You all just happened to like my favorite too.
