Ch 47 True Love Always Wins
Ginny smirks, watching the purple-haired freak leaving her cell door. "You were right, that bitch will do anything for Harry."
A black vine appeared in the corner of the room, hearing the red-haired girl's words. "As much I love your confidence, Ginny. Mashu Kyirelight will pose a challenge." Avenger informed the Witch.
"How so? She isn't that tough, look at her frail-"
"You're undereating her, Ginny. Mashu Kyirelight has been blessed by the purest Knight around." Avenger said. "She's been acknowledged of her merits by the Roundtable themselves. Thus making her a member."
Ginny rolled her eyes, in her mind, the Roundtable is just filled with Muggle trash. "So? I don't see being acknowledged by the Roundtable filth. I'm a Witch, the most powerful being in the world!" She exclaims, letting her confidence run wild.
Avenger smirks, seeing her plan in place. "Well, I guess I have to help you then." The vine entangles to each, forming a black wand with blue thorns growing around it.
The redhead looks at the new wand, slowly taking it in her hands. "This wand is embedded with my Magical Energy. Your Wizard spells will be ten times as powerful than it was before." Avenger quickly informed Ginny.
"It's fueled by your hatred making it more powerful. Might I suggest that you use the most forbidden spells from your knowledge?" Avenger gave a little push in the direction she wants her to go.
Ginny grips her new wand, feeling the power coursing within her veins. She grins, thinking she has the advantage against the bitch. "Soon Harry, soon…"
Mashu sat next to her husband, sleeping in the bed. She had Parvati and Ibuki take Romani back to the Storm Border, not wanting to see his father in this state. "Ginny?" She jumps hearing Ritsuka's voice.
The former Demi-Servant place her hand on Ritsuka, gripping it tightly. "No, it's Mashu, Ritsuka." She smiles, knowing that's not the name he meant to say.
Ritsuka sat up, feeling warm from the Love Poison. "S-Sorry, I guess the Poison's effects are kicking in Mashu." He apologies, feeling guilty for saying the wrong name.
"It's not your fault Ritsuka," Mashu said, ensuring her love that everything's fine. "Just rest, I'll handle everything."
Raphael walks into the enclosed area, freezing at the sight before him. "Oh, am I interrupting something?" the Archangel asked the two.
Mashu got up, inclining her head to the Lancer. "Raphael-san, no you're not. I'm just talking to Ritsuka." She informed him.
"Yes, me and…and…Mashu is just talking." Ritsuka said, almost forgetting his wife's name for a moment.
Raphael looks at his master, feeling awful to see him in this state. He shook his head, walking over to him. His eyes glowed a golden coloration before sighing. "What is it, Lancer?" Ritsuka asked,
"Master, the Poison is spreading slowly; Sir Galahad's protection is still at work delaying it." The Lancer informed his master. "It's only a matter of time-"
"I KNOW THAT!" Ritsuka shouted, more aggressive than before. He quickly realizes what he just did, "S-Sorry, Lancer."
Raphael crosses his arms, seeing the Poison has affected his personality. "Master, you need to rest." He grabs a sedative and injects it into his arms. "I apologize in advance but it's the only way to protect yourself and the others." He apologies to him.
"Do it," Ritsuka said, not wanting to cause any more hurt to the ones he cares about. His eyes got heavier before he fell into a coma-like state.
Mashu leans in, kissing him on the cheeks. "Rest well, Ritsuka." She smiles softly at her husband before walking out of the Nurse's office.
Raphael followed the former Demi-Servant out of the office, guiding her to the exit. "I will stay here with Assassin to keep an eye on master." The Archangel of Healing said to Mashu.
Aphrodite was standing near the doorway, smoking away with the cigarette in her hand. "Yes, this is a rather simple process for me. So let's go over the plan, once again-"
"In order to save Ritsuka from the Love Poison, I have to fight the one who inflicts the poison into him. While I'm fighting you two will work on the Antidote," Mashu reviewed what the Olympian just said earlier.
Aphrodite nodded, happy that she'd remembered. "Yes, the last component for the Antidote is special, True Love." The Assassin finished.
Mashu nodded, understanding the plan once again. "I will not fail," she proclaims.
"Sister and Waver are investigating how the Love Poison was able to be created. Muramasa and Parvati are questioning the House Elves." Raphael informed the Assistant director of Chaldea.
Mashu looks satisfied, now the responsibility of Chaldea is in her hands once again. "I'm glad to hear it, make sure nothing happens to Ritsuka."
"Don't worry, we have things handled." Aphrodite ensures their master's safety to the former Demi-Servant.
Mashu started to head down the hall, fully ready to face her advisory in her husband's name. "Mashu, wait," Galahad called out to his Pseudo-sister with Merlin by his side.
"Mashu, Merlin has seen something concerning about this fight," Galahad informed the violet-haired woman.
"Fou, Fou!" Fou responded, concerned about everything now.
Mashu places her hand on her chin; if Merlin said something is concerning it should be taken seriously. "Can you elaborate, Merlin?" She looks at the Female Grand Caster.
Merlin nodded, "Well, I saw something, like a glimpse of a black wand. After looking into the wand, it's some kind of Noble Phantasm. In short, you're facing an enemy who wields a weapon of a Servant." The Grand Caster said, not joking around at this point. Whoever this Servant is, he or she is able to invade both Merlins' clairvoyance.
"I-I understand. So we need to recalibrate the Ortinax suit for that, but my Noble Phantasm-"
"I will do it." Galahad interrupts his sister's sentence.
Mashu, Fou, and Merlin look at Galahad with shocked expressions. "WHAT!?"
"FOU!?"
Galahad looks at the three, determined to do this for his master. "Mashu's Noble Phantasm is weaker than mine, sure it acts the same but the energy for a massive attack is lacking." He explains. "She was lucky to survive the Lostbelts with Mold Camelot; tell me, how long was it when you last used the Noble Phantasm?" he asked his Pseudo-sister.
"The last time I used it was…was…" Mashu's eyes widen, she can't believe it was that long since she used the Noble Phantasm or the Black Berral. "When we fought U-Olga Marie,"
Fou's face depleted, whimpering at how long it was. "Fou,"
"Now do not fret, Cath Palug. Our dear Sir Galahad has something in mind." Merlin petted the Beast of Humanity.
"Yes, during our years of relative peace you have forgotten to evoke them," Galahad mentions, seeing the disappointment in her face. "But you still have the ability to relearn them; but not right now."
Mashu looks at Galahad, catching up on what he had in mind.
Jane sat next to her friends and family the seated at the set bleachers in the Great Hall. She was worried, not just for Ritsuka but for Mashu and their son. If Ginny gets her way then it's not only Mashu who's suffering. 'Please let her win, if there's a God please…' she prayed for Mashu's victory.
"Jane, don't worry. Mashu can handle anything." Flat ensures everything is alright with the former Demi-Servant.
"I know she could handle herself; but…"
"It's the thought of Ginny winning that scares us." Hermione bit her thumbs at the wait for the duel to start.
Ron was too worried, his eyes caught something in the corner. "Is that…"
In the corner Umbridge was with Ginny, giving her words of her own. "Ms. Weasley, if you win this little duel; I ensure you will have a bright future with Mr. Potter." She smiles, giving a false promise. "All you need to do is to make sure to hand over his Servants to the Ministry, can you do that?"
Ginny, now blinded by false promises agrees to it. "Of course, all I need is Harry that's it!"
Umbridge smiles, with her victory the Servants under Harry's command will fall into the Minister's hands. From that, they can restore order in the entire world; who cares if their Heroes or Villains, they are power. "Then go on and defeat the purple-haired freak!"
Ginny rushed on her end of the dueling table, waving her hands to the crowd. She looks at the other end of the table, seeing Hinako and Lanling. Both were standing by the door, waiting for Mashu to arrive.
"Where is she?" Ginny asked herself, waiting for her to arrive.
Jane looks at the door where Mashu should be entering. "D-Did something happen to her?" She asked herself.
"Maybe she chickened out," Ron said, hoping this isn't the case.
Lily held onto her husband's hands, worried about who will be the winner. She heard whispers around about the whereabouts of Mashu,
"Where is she?"
"Why is she taking so long?"
"Did she got scared and run away?"
The whispers became louder with each passing moment of Mashu. "These students, they don't know what she's going th-"
The door slowly opens, everyone looks seeing Mashu walking in black armor that reveals most of the skin. Behind her were Galahad, Merlin, Fou, Ereshkigal, and Ishtar guiding her inside,
Umbridge looked disgusted at how she walks inside in a leud outfit. "How dare you enter in a traditional Wizard Duel looking like a slut!"
"Yeah! Get something to cover up that muggle shit!"
Mashu hears all the slanders towards her but ignores them. Saving her husband is what's motivates her, and nothing will change her devotion. "Good luck, Mashu." Merlin wishes her.
"Fou, Fou!" Fou commented wanting her to be victorious.
Hinako smirks at her friend, "Show them the power of a Team A member."
Hermione looks closely at Mashu, her outfit has changed from a technological version to a Knight a Knight version. "Ah, so he did give her his power once more." Da Vinci smirks, "I guess there's some Knightly aspects to him after all."
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked, curious about what the Caster is talking about.
"Oh, you'll see Ms. Granger." Da Vinci smiles.
Ginny scoffs, seeing how ridiculous she looks in the armor. "I must admit, you look like a slut in that armor." She smirks, "You think that armor can save you from my spells?"
Mashu looks at Ginny with cold eyes but remained calm in this situation. "I don't care what you have to say, Ginny. I'm here to save Ritsuka, nothing more, nothing less." She announced.
Ginny gritted her teeth, hating how Knightly she is acting. "Stop acting like that, you sound ridiculous!"
Dumbledore steps forward, entering the center between the two females. "The rules are simple, in this Duel if any side falls off the table, gives into fatigue, or injured enough to not move on will be disqualified." He announced. "There will be no curses in this Duel, just stunners and immobilization-"
"Let the Duel begin!" Umbridge rushed things to get started. She doesn't care if the Muggle gets hurt, all she cares about is results.
"Confringo!" Ginny sent a powerful version of the flame spell at Mashu. "HAHAHAHA! YOU CAN'T DODGE-"
Mashu moves quickly, dodging the spell by rolling. She looks up seeing Ginny casting another spell, "Stupefy!" The stunner spell was cast multiple times, like a barrage.
"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" James exclaims, never seeing that spell used in such a manner.
Ginny smirks, seeing there's no way that she could dodge all that stunners. 'Thank you, Avenger-" Her eyes widen, seeing her hand grabbing something in midair.
A Shield, shape like a cross appeared, deflecting the spells. "THAT'S CHEATING! THERE ARE NO WEAPONS IN THIS DUEL!"
Galahad smirks, remembering when she held his Shield back then. "GO MASHU!" He cheered as did many who supported Ritsuka.
Mashu points her brother's Shield at Ginny, her face filled with determination. "This is a Duel between Magic! I happened to use a different kind of magic than the one you used." She announced, receiving a hateful glare from Ginny. "As I said before, I will not hold back!"
Umbridge looked like she's going to pop, her face was redder than blood. "Dumbledore, stop this immediately; this is a clear violation of the rule of this due-"
"Unfortunately, Madame Umbridge, since Mrs. Fujimaru can use magic in a form of a…" Dumbledore's eyes widen, seeing the circle in the shield with familiar writing in old English. "Round…shield…so this isn't any violation of any rule."
Umbridge's eyes widen before looking at Ginny who seems to be losing it. "DAMN YOU, DAMN YOU!" Mashu deflects the stunners spells that were cast at her with ease.
The Shielder jumps in the air and slams her Shield into the table; Ginny stumbles back seeing an opening. "Since your too attach to your shield, how are you without it! Expelliarmus!" Mashu quickly shielded herself from the charm,
Lily bit her thumb, knowing nothing can block the charm. "That won't work." She said.
'Perfect,' Mashu dismisses her shield and ran against the edge of the table. The charm passed her hair, but it didn't stop Ginny to cast more spells at her.
"DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE!" Not to her notice, her wand was building up heat from each spell.
"LOOK AT HER GO!" A Gryffindor cheered for Mashu. "GO MRS. FUJIMARU!"
"YEAH, GO MASHU!" The twins join in the cheering,
Mashu slides on the table's surface and rushed at Ginny. "Leonidas-sensei, may your training give me strength." She propels her fist at Ginny's face, missing on purpose. She swings her leg, letting the girl tumbles backward.
"WHAT!" Ginny thinks she is dodging each punch and kick that Mashu has to offer. "HAHAHAHA! YOU MISS BITCH!"
Mashu looks at Ginny in the eyes, showing a bit of a smirk. "Am I?"
Ritsuka felt odd, he opens his eyes. His eyes were a deep red coloration, signifying the curse is almost complete. "Where's Ginny?" He looks at Aphrodite, standing beside him with a blue vile in her hand. "H-Hey! What do you think you-"
Without a moment to react, the Goddess shoves the vile into her master's mouth letting the liquid pour down his throat. "Now for the last ingredient." She and Raphael took their master by the arms and head over to the Great Hall.
"GET OFF OF ME!" Ritsuka exclaims, being a drag to the Hall.
Ginny was confused, why is she missing her on purpose. Then she felt the edge of the table, with that feeling she raises her wand. "BOMBARDA!" the spell caused Mashu to jump back, readying herself for another attack.
"BOMABARDA! BOMBARDA! BOMBARDA!" With every spell cast, the more heated the wand is; but Ginny didn't care.
Mashu resummoned her Shield, blocking the explosion charm with her might. 'Come on Mashu! This is for your family, for Ritsuka!' She looks at Ginny, still casting the charm at her.
Ginny was now gaining ground, pushing Mashu back with the overused spell. "HAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE WEAK! I KNEW YOUR NOTHING SPECIAL, YOUR JUST A LEACH, A LOW LIFE WITH NO PURPOSE IN LIFE OR HARRY'S!"
"No, you're wrong." Ginny raised her eyebrow, confused about what she just said.
"What?"
Mashu huffs, gripping the handle of the Shield. "You have no idea what we've been through. I have faced many adversaries, both me and Ritsuka have fought together to save our world. We stood side by side,"
Memories of her and Ritsuka sitting together under the stars appeared in her mind.
"Suffering lost together!"
Her and Ritsuka holding onto each other at Dr. Roman's funeral at Chaldea after the Temple of Time.
"Experiencing love!"
Their first time kissing at the Britain Branch after the Yule Ball.
"And having a child we both love with our very being!"
The first time they saw their son; Romani in Mashu's arms with a cheery smile as he looks at them.
"Those are what we cherish! The memories of our friends and family, we hold dear to our hearts!" With each word, Mashu said, the closer she gets to Ginny who is faltering by her advancement. "You may manipulate your way in this world's Harry Potter's life with no cherished memories or experience of your own. As long I still live, as long I wield this shield, I shall protect Ritsuka's life from people like you!"
Ginny steps back, feeling the edge. She looks at Mashu, practically above her. "N-NO! I'M SUPPOSE TO WIN! I'M SUPPOSE TO BE THE HERO OF HARRY POTTER!"
Mashu brought her shield to the side, preparing to strike. "Ritsuka Fujimaru is not your Harry Potter, for he is the love of my life. The father of our son," She propels the large Shield at Ginny, propelling her off the table. "And my Senpai in life!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ginny fell off the table, impacting the ground beneath her.
Mashu prostrates her Sheild on the table, creating a crack within them. "You have no resolve, no true purpose to fight. Just a petty obsession to the wrong person." she glares down at her. "That's why you've lost." Mashu turns around, hearing the cheers of her victory against Ginny.
Jane hugged Flat, happy to see Mashu be victorious against the horrid girl. "SHE DID IT! SHE WON!" she cheered.
Ron stood up, applauding Mashu. "GO MASHU! YOU'RE AWESOME!"
"SHE DID IT! SHE DID IT!" Hermione screamed excitedly and proud of the Demi-Servant.
Lily sighs in relief, her 'daughter-in-law' has defeated, "She won, she actually won."
"MASHU! MASHU! MASHU!" Jamie, Colin, and the twins cheered for her victory.
The whole room cheered excitedly for Mashu's victory; the room echoes cheers of her name repeatedly. Umbridge gaped at a Muggle like this one was able to defeat a Witch like Ginny so easily. "H-How is this-"
"Mrs. Fujimaru fought for love, she fought what she deems important to her," Dumbledore said, understanding where his conviction lies. "That is how she was able to win this Duel, Madame Umbridge." He looks at the unpleasant woman with a disdainful expression.
"Tch," Umbridge looks at Ginny, despising her for failing a simple task.
Mashu walks to the end of the table, seeing Ritsuka looking at her. His eyes, a deep shade of red that was slowly fading. She smiles at him, causing the Magus to jump.
"Look! Ginny's getting up!" Cho pointed out.
Mashu quickly turns around, seeing a defeated Ginny struggling to stand. "Heh…HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU THINK YOU WON!? I'M STILL STANDING, YOU BITCH!" Ginny's eyes were now all white, her pupils were now small indicating her madness.
Mashu prepared herself for an attack from her adversary, "I WILL WIN! NO MATTER WHAT, EVEN IF IT COST MY LIFE!" The wand in her hands began to glow a dark hue.
"THIS WILL TEACH YOU!" Ginny raised her wand, a black flame appeared on the tip.
Dumbledore realized what the girl was doing. "GINNY WEASLEY! STOP, THAT IS-"
"Fiendfyre!" Ginny brought down her wand, a huge fireball hurls over to Mashu. Like second nature, her protective instincts kick in. Both Umbridge and Dumbledore Appate over to the other side to evade
"AAAAHHHHHHHH!" Mashu place down her shield, deflecting the cursed fire the best she could. However, due to having Galahad's Spirit Origins temporary, she's faltering at the pressure.
Everybody screams at the Fire Curse, spreading quickly like…well a forest fire.
"GINNY HAS GONE INSANE!" Jamie exclaims, being guided by Da Vinci and the other Servants behind Mashu.
Jane was being shielded by Flat, protecting her with his very body. "I-Is Mashu alright?"
Hermione saw the Shielder up on the table, her form is keeping her from being thrown away. "S-she's deflecting the fire!" she exclaims, seeing her protecting them.
"How is this possible, nothing could deflect a Fiendfyre curse!" Flitwick gasps, seeing the feat before him.
Mashu keeps on going, but the amount of power in the fire curse is causing her a great strain on her body. 'I have to keep going! I will not…Ngh,' Her legs felt weaker, the fire proves too much for her to handle. Screams from Ginny rose, the flames were burning her to a crisp. But she was still alive, enduring the flames to win.
"I WILL WIN!" Ginny screams in pain.
Mashu kneeled on the ground, feeling her brother's Spirit Origin within her returning to him. "We need to help her!" Jamie exclaims, seeing her faltering.
The Golden Trio nodded, rushing over to her side when both Galahad and Isolde stops them. "What are you-"
"No, this is Mashu's fight. We cannot intervene." Galahad looks at them with seriousness in his eyes.
"That's crazy! She's your sister, you need to-"
"He's right, Jane. Mashu needs to do this." Isolde commented, watching her being strong. "I suggest you all look and see what's about to unfold."
Everyone looks confused, they don't know what the new Slytherin girl means. "Whatever you mean girl? She's clearly a Muggle who is weak compared to the Fiendfyre curse-"
Aphrodite smirks, seeing that she's going to be proven wrong. "You Wizards are such idiots. A human conviction can overcome anything if it's the right thing."
Umbridge gave a dirty look at the Goddess of Love; disliking how she was speaking. "What do you mean by Human conviction, you half-breed freak!?"
"Mashu is stronger than you think, even without us helping her." Hinako points at Mashu's position, "Look,"
Everybody looks up where the True Ancestor is pointing to.
Mashu struggles, feeling that if she can't defeat Ginny then all is lost. But she won't allow this girl to define her, 'Come on, do it!' She closes her eyes. Praying that her Noble Phantasm will activate; then a feeling of something warm touches her hand. (Insert Fate Grand Order ~First Order~ Soundtrack: KYRIELIGHT)
Mashu looks up, seeing Ritsuka holding her Shield with her. "R-Ritsuka-"
Ritsuka looks down at her, his eyes once red with lust turns back to a sapphire blue hue. "I believe in you, Mashu." He smiles, giving her the Mana she needs via Command Seal.
The memory of her activating her first Noble Phantasm appeared in her mind. This moment in time, his words of trust. Mashu remembers it all, remembering how to evoke her Noble Phantasm once more. She got up, feeling Ritsuka's hands supporting her, "Please watch me, master!" she said, gaining the confidence she needs.
The Shield began to glow a pure color, a color of hope and dreams. "W-What is that?" A Ravenclaw asked, seeing the light.
"I-Is it Dark-"
"No, it's Light Magic!" Ron exclaims, seeing the light. Everyone remains silent, watching the white light emitting from the round shield.
Galahad smirks, "None of those,"
"It's Mashu's conviction given form, a name both Shielder and her wield." Merlin smiles, seeing the feat once again. "The name is called…"
"FOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUU!"
Ginny saw the bright light before her amongst the flames. "W-What is she-"
"I shall hold onto the things I held dear! My conviction, my will, dissolve all hatred!" Mashu's voice echoes in the room. Mashu's armor changed a sword manifest on her side with a purple cape covering her bottom half.
"An oath?" Jane asked herself.
"Now manifest yourself, Lord…CAMELOT!"
With the new oath she made, the Shield reacts to her new conviction in life. "LORD WHAT-(GASP)!" Lily and the others gasp seeing white walls form around them. The flames that were once enclosed in the group dissolves, the white walls pushed back the fire curse back at Ginny.
Umbridge saw the curse being propelled back, she steps back at the impossible feat. "H-How is Mr. Potter doing-"
Aphrodite smirks, seeing the Love Poison being broken. "AHAHAHAHA! DON'T YOU SEE IT PINK ABOMINATION! THIS IS THE FINAL INGREDIENT FOR THE ANTIDOTE, TRUE LOVE'S CONVICTION!" The Goddess laughs, still having her touch.
Ginny felt the force of the flames being pushed back. Her legs felt like they were given in, "N-NO! I CAN'T LOSE! I CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN'TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!"
Mashu poured all that is remaining that Galahad's Spirit Origins has to offer. Her husband's support, the support of the Chaldeans, and her love for Ritsuka, this is what she's fighting for. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The flames were pushed back, exploding when it comes in contact with Ginny. "NNNNNNAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ginny was sent flying across the room, hitting the back wall.
The flames dissipate, leaving just a scorched room. "T-T-THAT WAS WICKED!" Ron exclaims, cheers erupted for Mashu protecting them from the Fiendfyre curse.
Mashu smiles, feeling weak from the fight. "Mashu!" Ritsuka held onto his wife, proud of what she accomplished. (End song)
"I-I'm fine, Ritsuka." Mashu cups his face, "I'm happy you're back,"
Ritsuka held onto her hand, kissing it. "Yeah, I'm sorry I put you through that." He watches her armor reverts to her regular clothing, "It seems your temporary contract with Galahad is done."
Mashu giggles before looking at Ginny at the end. She watches her getting up, still determined to fight. "I-I hate you…I HATE YOU!" Ritsuka held onto Mashu, protecting her from the deranged girl.
"I'LL KILL YOU, AVADA KADEVRA!" Ginny tries to cast the Killing curse at Mashu, but nothing happened. "AVADA KADEVREA!" Still nothing.
Ginny looks at her new wand, dissolving into nothing. "W-What happened to me-"Suddenly she felt a slight sting on her neck. Before she knows it, Lanling stood behind her, stunning her on the nerves.
"That takes care of that." The Saber smirks, looking at Hinako walking up to him.
"Good job, Saber." Hinako looks at the crowd of onlookers, knowing what comes next. But she puts that aside from watching Ritsuka pick up Mashu in a princess hold. "We will deal with them later,"
Umbridge sat in her office, still comprehending what transpires. The things that Percy told her, all of it's true. "Cornelius needs to know about this." She took out a piece of parchment and began to write.
