Chapter 48 After all these years

It has been three long years since Sean was killed by Zaheer before later being revived by the first and original God himself to stop the Chaos Zaheer unleashed for selfish reasons.

Since then the world had come closer together to prevent such an incident from ever happening again and united for the first time in all of history.

After Raiko had tried to kill Sean again in anger Sean and his family left to head back to the South to get away from Raiko who was clearly not in his right mind.

After that incident Raiko's reputation was beyond destroyed seeing he almost doomed them all again for selfish reasons.

Despite this Raiko was still in office using some law and loopholes to prevent him from being arrested and thrown out of office.

This of course enraged everyone who wanted him thrown out of office and placed in prison for his actions which annoyed him that he lost all his support believing he was in the right to do whatever he pleased which only enraged them more.

Of course he still had to face some punishments.

One being he lost a majority of his power which was now split between certain trustworthy individuals such as Freya, Baldur, Luke, Reznov and Julia.

Turok was also allowed certain privileges like rejecting any projects Raiko put into place. Namely everything that only benefited himself which was almost all of them much to his anger.

And since that fateful day People had begun to pray to the original god that created all life on Earth again which made the Devil even weaker seeing without mankind suffering again he was no longer gaining more power.

After his final battle with Zaheer Sean had fully recovered physically in a couple weeks and spent every day with his wife and daughters much to Korra's happiness seeing he was back to his old self.

But his connection to the gods and their powers was still blocked from Zaheer's actions.

But he still enjoyed everyday he spent with them despite this.

Speaking of Zaheer he was under the heaviest of security from around the world since the White Lotus was disbanded.

Some had tried to persuade Sean to convince his mother to change her mind but he refused before they tried to attack him in anger but Korra stopped them before Athena killed them without mercy.

Korra herself had gotten even stronger since that day.

She had gone to Chiron for some advanced training to get stronger to protect her family never wanting to feel weak and unable to help ever again.

Now at her current level of power she could easily take the Red Lotus down three years ago without so much as a scratch since she learned several new bending skills over the last three years.

Even the others have gotten stronger over the years as well to make sure what happened never did again.

Also another thing since Eska and Desna were killed Theseus was placed in charge of the Northern Water Tribe and made sure the people were well taken care of and didn't force anything on them like Eska, Desna and Unalaq did which made life good for the people and helped repair the damage with the South.

Right now Raiko was giving a speech.

"And of course, my biggest thanks goes to Asami Sato and Future Industries. She brought our old central terminal into the modern era. Ladies and gentlemen the world is entering a new age of peace and prosperity thanks to the efforts and sacrifice of the Son of Athena who I wish was here today to thank him and his wife for their efforts." Raiko said before people glared at him making him frown hoping to get some applause for that lie.

"Yeah nice try asshole. Everyone sees past his fucking lies now." Reznov said Turok who nods.

"No shit."

"Soon, prince Wu will take his rightful place on the Earth Kingdom throne, and thanks to our updated rail system, Republic City and the Earth Kingdom will be united like never before." Raiko said about to cut the Ribbon but Asami snatched the scissors from his hands before cutting it herself making people cheer for her while Raiko glared making her smirk

Soon the crowd dispersed.

"That fucker hasn't learned a goddamn thing. He pisses me off!" Turok said glaring at Raiko who tried to get some attention from certain officials but they ignored him pissing him off. (Like I said Anyone want to make some reference about him being the same as Perseus)

"Calm down." Jinora said holding his hands. "I know you're still pissed at him for what he did to Sean three years ago for his own selfish reasons. But he'll be answering for his crimes soon enough." Jinora said kissing him making him smile.

"Maybe I should convince my brother to do another Roasting for him." Turok said making them both laugh.

"So have you heard from him lately?" Jinora asked.

"No...But Korra did send a letter saying she and her family were coming back to the city to move back in. It'll be nice to see him and the girls again. I swear Katara almost looks Nearly identical to her mother. If it wasn't for those green eyes." Turok said making her laugh. It was a running joke in the family how much Katara looked so much like her mother. (I know I said in the Birth Chapter she had blue eyes like her mother. That was my mistake. I went back and put in Forest green Like Sean's)

After that they walked up to Mako and Asami.

"It'll be nice to see Korra and Sean again after a month. And I'm sure the girls will enjoy some warm weather for a change." Asami said making Turok scoff in amusement. Last time they visited them Annabeth and Calliope started a snowball fight with him and Reznov while Katara watched laughing.

"I'll bet. You heard from Bolin? I'm sure he'll want to see them again." Turok said.

"I haven't talked to him a while. I'm sure he'll be here for the coronation." Mako said.

"How someone as pathetic as that Wu guy becomes King is beyond me. I'd rather have one of Amara's sisters on the throne." Turok said.

"Oh god no. After that thing they sent Korra no way. I still can't believe they sent a three foot tall Dildo." Jinora said disgusted.

While they were talking Wu was talking with the others.

"The united forces will escort you to Ba Sing Se." Tenzin said.

"Right, About that. Are we all positive that the Earth Kingdom is safe enough for me to return? I don't have to remind everyone what happened to my great Aunt and cousin three years ago? May they Rest In heaven." Wu said.

"They can rest in hel for all I care. It's where that bitch and her whore daughter belong" Reznov said.

"How dare you. My Aunt and cousin were great women to this world." Wu said before Reznov grabbed and glared.

"You care to fucking repeat that you mother fucker? You call a woman who tried to kill Kruger's wife and unborn daughters a great woman and try to force him to marry your cousin against his will great?" Reznov asked making him sweat.

"Um...Well yes since we are royalty we can do whatever we want." Wu said before Reznov punched him making him squeal

"You are a pathetic excuse for a human being. I'd rather see Kuvira on the throne since she at least would take things seriously unlike you who only care about himself." Reznov said.

That was another thing. Kuvira had left the Metal clan and began a campaign to unite the Earth Kingdom once again after the chaos Zaheer and caused. While some of her tactics were concerning they got the job done and that was all that mattered.

Meanwhile

On a railway was a train that was traveling all over the Earth Kingdom.

This was Kuvira's train and inside was her, Varrick. Zhu-Li, Baatar Jr and Bolin who was coming with a report. Bolin after Sean was revived worked for Kuvira in fixing the mess Zaheer made for his own selfish reasons.

"I just got some good news now. Two more Earth Kingdom states have agreed to join us." Bolin said.

"Excellent. Thank you, Bolin. We're 90% there, Kuvira." Baatar said.

"Thats great! Zhu-Li, Dish out some of that special celebration Tea." Varrick said getting her to do that as she handed some to Kuvira.

"None for me. I won't celebrate until the Earth Kingdom is 100% Reunited." Kuvira said before the Train stopped before one of her soldiers approached her. "Why are we stopping?"

"Apologies, there are rocks on the tracks. It's most likely bandits. We're sending troops to handle the situation."

"Call them off. I will take core of the bandits myself." Kuvira said.

For Kuvira this was hardly even a fight since she took them all down without so much as a problem.

In the three years since Zaheer was locked up she had proven to be a master Metal bender that could rival even Suyin maybe even exceed her.

Soon enough the train got back to its destination arriving at small state that was rich with ore.

When Bolin got off however.

"Well...If it isn't the Lava bender." Julia said making him face her seeing Julia, Kai and Opal.

"Guys!" Bolin said rushing to them before hugging his girlfriend.

"Your looking good since the last time we saw you." Julia said.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Bolin asked.

"We were trying to help get this place some food and supplies...But the bandits took it from the bison. If we had Dojo it probably would have been easier since who would attack a dragon." Julia said.

"I'm not so sure about that. Have you guys heard from Sean and Korra?" Bolin asked.

"Actually yes. Their coming back to Republic City today." Julia said before seeing Kuvira talking to the Governor who glared before signing her treaty. "Guess he had no other option since things are only getting worse around these places.." Julia said.

"Come on its not like she's a bad leader. She's...Kinda like Korra." Bolin said.

"Oh please Korra never forced anyone to do something against their beliefs " Julia said before they got on the Bison and left.

Later

Arriving at Air temple island was a Southern water tribe ship before Tonraq and his family god off.

"It's good to see you Korra." Tenzin said hugging her making her smile.

"It's good to finally be back." Korra said. She had changed recently with her hair now short.

"So where are the three Fallen Angels?" Luke asked.

"HEY!" Three little voices yelled unhappy.

Korra's daughters appeared behind their mother who gave him an annoyed looked.

"There they are." Reznov said chuckling.

"You and uncle Luke aren't nice." Katara said.

"Oh we were just kidding. Now come give your uncle a hug." Luke said making her smile before rushing to him as he picked her up. "I swear to god. She looks like an exact copy of you." Luke said making Korra giggle since it was true. If she didn't have her father's eyes she really would look like her.

Also around Annabeth's neck was the Necklace Turok gave at her shower 3 years ago.

"Finally. Away from the cold!" Dojo said around Korra's neck making her smile.

"Not like I can feel anything." Mimir said on Korra's side.

"I'll bet my brother is happy to be away from all that snow." Turok said making her frown.

"What does that mean? Isn't he already here?" Korra asked.

"No...Why would you think that?" Turok asked.

"Sean left the South 2 weeks ago saying he was coming here to ask Tenzin to help him regain his connection. We haven't heard from him since." Tonraq said holding Senna close who looked concerned.

"Korra...Sean never came to Republic City. No one has seen him since last month in the South." Tenzin said.

"Then...Where is he?" Korra asked worried for her husband as everyone looked concerned.

"Daddy." Annabeth said as her mother picked her up.

Meanwhile

Deep within the swamps of the Earth Kingdom a figure groaned as he walked away with blood dripping down his body.

The person in question was Sean who looked beat up and heavily injured with a large scar on his front as he walked away.

After Zaheer had destroyed his connection to the other Gods Sean had been recovering with his family till he was physically recovered fully.

During the last three years he spent every moment he could with his wife and daughters and enjoyed every second he had with them.

But emotionally Sean was still scarred by what had happened to him.

Even to this day he couldn't hold his axe and Blades Of Chaos without his hands shaking badly.

Knowing that the family would be heading to Republic City soon Sean decided to leave early to see if Tenzin could help him restore his connection to the Gods.

However after falling asleep on the boat he found himself in the Swamp which completely surprised him.

He figured his mother or God himself was trying to tell him something and stayed hoping to find what he needed.

But for 2 weeks he found nothing.

All he did was get injured by wild animals, and plants.

His muscles had gone down by half and some of his body scarred.

Groaning he fell to his knees before falling over.

The once powerful God Slayer was a shell of his former self 3 years ago.

As his eyes began to close he saw someone standing over him.

Slowly waking up again he saw it was night outside before looking around seeing he was in some tree before seeing someone in the dark.

"Finally awake I see."

"What happened?" Sean asked.

"I found you passed out in the mud bleeding. You took a nasty claw mark to the chest. Animals around here will do that."

"How did you find me?" Sean asked.

"Wasn't hard. I know when something is up around here. So tell me what brings you here?"

"Ah. I thought my mother or maybe God brought me here. But I haven't found anything." Sean said.

"Don't be so sure. If Athena did bring you here she has a reason."

"How do you know my mother?" Sean asked narrowing his eyes.

"It's difficult not to know her since she was my sister."

Sean narrowed his eyes before grabbing a torch and approached him before he got a better look at him.

"I don't believe it...Hephaestus?" Sean asked looking at his uncle making him chuckle.

"Nice to finally see you again after 10,000 years Kruger." Hephaestus said smiling.

Authors Note: I bet You were all expecting Toph but no it was Hephaestus the Smith God. Now the question is what will happen this time around. Will Hephaestus help Sean recover emotionally or will something else happen. Also Sora no I don't hate season 4. I was perfectly fine with what happened since its not a big deal. Now I unfortunately have some sad news. My Grandfather on my dad's side of the family has two cancers and they are both fatal. He only has a few months. It sucks cause I already lost my mom's Dad last year and my dad two years before. So I might not be able to update as frequent because of the amount of trips we'll be taking to visit him before his death. Keep that in mind. Read, Review, Fav and Follow.
