The room had gone quiet as uncle Castiel stared at me, with a worried expression.

"So what does this mean?" Sam asked, confused.

I sighed, looking up at my uncle before turning towards Sam, Bobby, and Dean. "It means that someone wants to end the world and this is only the start of the whole situation," I answered before turning back to look at Castiel.

"Meaning?" Dean asked, walking closer towards me.

I scoffed in response, "It means that we need to think of a plan." I replied, agitated.

"Can't we just—?" He began.

I sharply turned to look up at him before shaking my head in response. "If you say 'wing it' I will—" I growled before Castiel put a hand on my shoulder and pulled me back towards him, before wrapping an arm around me. "Don't." He warned me, before looking towards Dean.

"Dean, this situation is far more dangerous for every one of us than you think. Which means we have to sit tight and plan." Castiel told him.

"Cass, why did you just— stop her?" Sam asked, looking at me with concern.

"Leilah's grace has been activated, meaning that her body doesn't know how much her strength has increased yet," Castiel says, looking me in the eye.

"What does that mean for Dean?" I suddenly asked him softly.

Suddenly remembering that we were not alone in the room. I stiffened and turned to look at him wide-eyed.

"What does what mean for me?" Dean asked, confused.

Castiel sighed, looking up in exasperation and turning to face him and the other two men. Before his eyes flickered to me, silently asking for permission.

I nodded stiffly once before swallowing thickly and turning away.

"What do you remember about the other night Dean?" Castiel asked him instead.

"Are you referring to the night at the bar?" Dean asked, confused, as I felt his gaze on me.

"That is exactly what I am referring to." Castiel replied with a nod of his head.

"Well, we drank, a lot, and then we went back to her hotel room… why?" Dean asked, confused.

"Lailah is an angel. A particularly strong one. The only angel born of two angel parents, she is stronger than any of us, even stronger than a Nephilim." Castiel said, stopping to take a breath.

"Ok, so what does that have to do with anything that happened? How does that pertain to the other night?" Dean asked, confused.

"The prophecy says that she will find a helpmate, and bind her soul with his, and together they will save God's creation." Castiel recited, before looking at me. "Dean, she chose you." He finally said.

"So, by Dean and Lailah sleeping together, their souls are now bound together?" Sam asked as he bit his lip to hide his amusement.

"Pretty much yes." Castiel said.

"What the hell is so funny, Sammy?" Dean asked Sam as he hit him in the head.

"Nothing, just the fact that you avoided being Michael's vessel, and now you traded in to be Lailah's bitch." He said laughing.

I growled before turning and walking up to him, before moving my hand and lifting him onto the wall as everyone else gasped i. surprise.

"I would not be making light of this situation, Samuel, you are after all the one who jump-started the Apocalypse by releasing Lucifer. Don't think that bitch Ruby died either, she is still out there laughing at your gullibility. So, if I were you I would tread carefully." I growled.

"Woah, woah. Lailah, honey, love, sweetheart… Could we maybe talk? Just the two of us? Alone?" Dean asked, inclining his head towards the basement door.

"Seraphina, let him go…" Castiel said, nodding towards a wide-eyed Sam.

I growled again, before dropping my hand to my side as I set Sam onto his feet.

"Touchy, touchy." Sam muttered before Dean smacked him upside the head.

"That's enough." Dean muttered as he grabbed my hand and pulled me down the stairs and into the safe room.

My eyes narrowed, as I prepared myself mentally for the heartbreak. I knew he would hate me now.

I gasped at his strength as he practically pulled me through the door, and slammed it closed behind us.

"So, me and you… Our souls are now bound together?" He asked as he led me to the bed and sat me down.

"More or less." I replied, quietly, "Look, Dean, I didn't know this would happen. If I had, I wouldn't have pulled you into this situation. I am sorry. I will understand if you never want to see me again." I said, apologetically looking down at my lap.

"What no? Have you lost your mind? What ever gave you that idea?" He asked, shocked, causing my head to snap and looking in his direction.

"I just— you were human before… and now, I turned you into a freak like me. Usually people react angrily." I muttered, and lowered my head in response.

He scoffed, before shaking his head leaning over to me and gripping my chin so I looked him in the eye. "Sweetheart, let me tell you something, I was already a freak prior to this. Died, went to hell, and was brought back by Cass, remember?" He asked, with a raised brow as he dropped his hand.

I closed my eyes as I felt his touch, but opened them as soon as I realized I needed to explain the situation to him.

"Yes, Dean, but you were still human before. You could die. Now? Not so much. You also have super strength, and my guess is other things that angels can do. But not that's not everything." I explained scooting back until my back hit the wall.

"What else is there?" He asked, carefully.

"While you are my equal in many things, you can not let your guard down, things will be getting more dangerous for every one of us. Including Sam." I informed him.

"What about Sam? I mean that bitch fed him demon blood, he was f. What will happen to him? Can we trust him?" He asked me, concerned.

"Ruby manipulated him into doing all this shit. Once he was under her spell, she could essentially control him, but now, that isn't the case anymore. If you close your eyes and focus, you can feel and hear how sorry he truly is for all of this…." I replied, calmly.

I watched him for a moment as he closed his eyes, and calmly listened, but I would feel the betrayal, hurt, and apprehension roll off of him in waves.

"Your apprehension is coming in waves off of you," I muttered as he jumped up.

"How did you—?" He began before he noticed my smirk before I sighed again.

"As a helpmate, we will be able to read our moods, minds, bodies, and a lot of other things. I want you to realize what you are jumping into. Because if you decide that you want to accept the bond, there is no turning back." I explained, sadly.

"— and if I chose to accept the bond?" He asked.

"Then the bonding has to be completed." I replied, biting my lip.

"How?" He asked, as he sat next to me and took my hand into his.

"You've made a deal at the crossroads right?" I asked him.

He stiffened but nodded nonetheless, before turning to me. I nodded at him in response.

"With a kiss?" He asked, raising his brows in disbelief.

" Yes, no, well, not exactly. You see, the soulbinding has already happened. We mated, and the binding happened by itself." I began to explain, stuttering as I tried.

"What else? There is something you are tring to hide from me." He said, as his brows furrowed.

I sighed, and moved my hair from my face. "What completes the binding is me giving you my blood and grace, you ingest it, and I— drink yours. Then we kiss." I whispered, flinching as he stiffened next to me.

The air froze in my lungs as I waited anxiously for his reaction.

We sat there unmoving as his thoughts jumbled incoherently through his mind.

"When?" He finally asked.

I blinked twice, before looking at him, "As soon as possible." I replied.

I watched him nod in response before getting to his feet. "Let's do it. The faster we finish this, the faster we can begin to plan for all the other shit that is happening." He said as he pulled me to my feet.
