Percy's POV
"Ha! Good one Jason!" I laughed. We were in the car, it was kind of late, but we had spent a fun day at the new amusement park. "Remember when you freaked on that Sky High ride?" Asked Jason. I blushed but laughed it off. We stopped at stop sign and I turned to my buddy. I couldn't believe how much fun I'd had with him, even though I wished Annabeth were there. "Hey, man, can you get us home faster? I have my internship at the hospital tomorrow." said Jason. "Alright," I responded with a sigh. I suppose all good things had to come to an end. I started forward but suddenly with the sound of squealing tires, I heard a crash and felt an intense pain rack through my body. I heard someone scream as I flew forward. The street came closer and closer and my body slammed into the ground. I looked down and saw two huge pieces of glass embedded in my stomach and chest. I groaned and fell back, head hitting the pavement and passed out.
