WHAT'S UP Y'ALL! Welcome back to yet another chapter of Spidey & Kitty's Multiversal Adventure! As you have seen, the Order of the Web managed to save the life of two young spiders and now we're heading to one of the most popular classic alt-versions of Spidey into this adventure! Oh and before we go to the usual, I'd like to announce that, after giving it a lot of consideration, I decided to make a Hellfire Gala inspired One-Shot! Of course, this One-Shot will come out after this story ends (Due to spoilers) so it's gonna take a while, but I do hope you enjoy it! Now, let's go check the reviews!
Timeless Writer: Was about time for Kitty and Jessica to bond, I think she has already interacted with almost everyone, meaning that she has integrated into the Arachnid World pretty well. As for Spencer, I agree that it was a good run, but he already made three strikes: First, he turned the Peter/MJ relationship way too co-dependent, that's borderline toxic; Second, the whole "Harry is Kindred" thing without an explanation (unless that's solved over at Sinister War) and Third, this thing with Teresa (if he does make it through). Those are the only flaws in his run, but besides that, he made a good work, now I only hope the book lands on a solid writer.
Ka1zen: I try to do my best to work with the current continuity; it's actually easier for me since I only need to do the necessary changes here or there. As for Krakoa, I get that their attitude irks people off, but let's wait and see how Inferno unfolds and see if this is indeed the Fall of Krakoa, but after what happened at the Gala with Mars, I think things will play out very differently, so I suggest to just wait until the full scope of the Gala and Inferno unfolds.
El-lector327: Honestamente, tampoco me pareció una buena pareja para ambos pero hey, al menos no lo explotaron después de eso XD (Y estoy empezando a considerar potenciales romances para Gwen, de hecho). Lo de Karn, justamente en este capítulo verás la respuesta a esa duda sobre cómo fue que se activaron sus recuerdos (y se viene nuevo atuendo para él XD)
Ahora, lo de los mutantes terraformando Marte, debo decir que fue una jugada sorpresiva que acabó siendo una muestra de poder, lo que hace que ahora el Universo entero esté pendiente de los mutantes. Bien se lo dijo Steve a Scott: "Resolvieron un problema, pero me temo que han causado muchos más" y el Planeta Arakko bien podría ser un nuevo objetivo de conflictos en el espectro cósmico. Yo también hubiese preferido el Archipiélago pero ya ves, Marvel no nos ha fichado XD
Wilcard Sparda: Well, keep in mind that Jessica's last interaction with MJ was during "Last Remains" which was a bit cut short due to the circumstances, but MJ does have a celebrity status, maybe that's what Jessica's references come from. As for Ben, he only knows what he experienced with her after meeting her, remember that Ben's memories are based on Peter's during his college years and he loved Gwen back then. Plus, I'm sure all the spiders already know about Peter's love life and agree that Peter deserve a good partner in his life, hence their approval of Kitty, someone who's actually being part of his world.
Young justice 17: Don't know about that one, it's more likely that I'll reference about it. I've read Venom #35 (a.k.a. #200) to see if I could make it fit for a reunion between Peter, Flash and Kitty but Flash's going low profile so that one might have to wait (maybe until after the upcoming Extreme Carnage thing)
Gabriel Martins1: Sorry but no, that one won't be making an appearance, but if you want to read a good adventure featuring the cartoon Ultimate Spider-Man, you can check The Timeless Writer's works, they're pretty awesome!

SPIDER-MAN AND KITTY PRYDE: INTO THE GREAT UNKNOWN
Chapter 25: The Weirdest Location Ever!
In what resembles a wide flowery garden, the portal opens right in the middle of it, with the group of spiders landing right in the middle of it. The sky looks clearer than ever, the sun shines in its apogee and a gentle breeze flows with the pink, yellow and red petals floating on the way.
"Alright, is it me or we just landed in what I must say it's the most colorful Earth yet?" Ben quips as the group gathers "I mean, just look around"
"I know what you mean" Gwen replies to his comment "This feels… psychedelic?"
"In what Earth did we just landed?" Miles throws the question, to which Kitty checks her Webware device.
"According to the device, we're on Earth-8311" Kitty replies "It's marked as a place full of strange behavior and things that go beyond the adult understanding… Did Reed Richards really write this?" she asks a bit baffled about that note.
"Well, Doctor Richards is known for being sincere when it comes to his scientific records" the Arachnid Girl responds "But I do agree that this Earth feels kinda cartoonish"
"Wait, wait, did you say 'Cartoonish'?" Peter asks the Arachnid Girl, who quickly nods her head in response "Uh-Oh… I think I know who's the totem…" he comments, having a very peculiar feeling about it, and oddly enough, Gwen begins to have that feeling as well.
"Believe it or not, I have the same feeling Pete" Gwen comments, sighing as the group prepares to venture and search for the totem, yet before the take the route into the city, the group immediately bumps into a large explosion that crashes nearby, revealing what it looks like a massive army of robots.
"Would you look at that?" Ben quips as the cloud of dust begins to fade out and reveals to be a marching group of Doombots "Oh great, we bumped into another Latverian Invasion"
"Wait; take a god look at those Doombots" Kaine points towards the robots, noticing something very odd in their faces "Is it me or they look like… ducks?"
"You're… not wrong" Jessica responds to his question just as a large platform floats above the army of Doombots with another figure standing, but this one, while very similar, is the only one wearing a cape.
"MORTAL CITIZENS!" the Latverian accent is heard across the park "Prepare to face subjugation at the hands of your new master!" the figure then moves his cape to reveal his full form "Feel the wrath of DUCKTOR DOOM!" he exclaims but the spiders just look at the scene in complete bafflement.
"Is that a Doctor Doom… with a Duck face?" Kitty asks, still baffled at what she, and the rest, is looking at.
"Should we really be taking that seriously?" Cindy asks but the collective buzzing of their Spider-Senses responds, followed by a barrage of laser beams coming out of the Doombots.
"I guess we do now!" Peter replies, jumping into action with the rest following him.
Peter wrecks a couple of the Doombots with his fists, Miles wraps three of them to apply his Venom Blast through the webbing, Gwen and Anya combine their efforts while Ben wraps them with his Impact Webbing so Kaine can wreck them, Jessica fires her Venom Blast while Cindy and the Arachnid Girl kicks them down and Kitty phases through them to disrupt them.
"Who dares!?" Ducktor Doom watches his first wave of Doombots fall and discovers the group of spiders fighting against them "Pathetic creatures! You insignificant gnats are nothing compared to the mighty Ducktor Doom!" he then activates his platform's panel to open a portal, releasing a new wave of his Doombots to assault the heroes.
"Are you kidding me!?" Miles exclaims "He has more of those?"
"Not even our Doom is that annoying!" Gwen complains about him as well while Ducktor Doom keeps ranting.
"You will succumb to the might of Latveria! You deserve to be ruled by none other than the Great DUCKTOR DOO-UGHN!" his words are suddenly cut short by a circular shield striking his head and leaving him a bit startled, the signal that reinforcements have arrived.
"And there you have it folks!" Peter begins to 'hype' their arrival "Please give it up for Earth's Mightiest Her-OOOH MY GOD! WHAT THE!?" he then goes completely baffled at the sight of this Earth's heroes led by a cat wearing Captain America's iconic costume.
"Your days of forced conquering are done, Doom!" Captain Americat exclaims "SCAVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" and with that, the animalistic heroes take the fight while the group of spiders stop and watch in complete astonishment.
"Am I the only one who noticed the bunch of humanoid people at the other side?" speaks the voice coming out of what looks like Iron Man's armor but with Mouse ears on the outside.
"Focus on the combat, Iron Mouse" Captain America replies as he fights his batch of Doombots.
"Have at Thee!" a dog wearing Thor's attire and even his own version of Mjolnir exclaims as he summons a massive thunderstrike against a bunch of Doombots "Prepare to feel the wrath of Thrr, the Dog of Thunder!"
"By the Eye of Aga-Crock-tto, Begone!" a Crocodile resembling Doctor Strange casts a spell that destroys a good amount of the Doombots "The path is all clear, Captain Mare-vel" he talks to one of his teammates who flies above him.
"Roger that, Croctor Strange" Captain Marevel, a white Mare with a blonde mane resembling Carol Danvers flies and fires a barrage of photon blasts at another batch of Doombots, just as she notices a large, green object coming down "INCOMING!" she exclaims, moving aside to allow the thing to crash.
"HULK-BUNNY SMASH!" the creature, a large, green bunny-like mutate resembling the Hulk attacks every Doombot on his line of sight, breaking them into pieces in his rampage.
"You claim to be a conqueror, but everyone knows you're a tyrant" a large bear-like creature resembling Black Panther attacks the last batch of Doombots "The Black Panda knows it too well!" he exclaims after destroying the last of the Doombots.
"Your army has fallen, Ducktor Doom! Surrender!" Captain Americat exclaims, ready to throw his shield once again while Ducktor Doom floats above them.
"I will never forget this affront Captain, your Scavengers and your new friends may have saved the day, but mark my words, THE TIME OF DOOM SHALL COME!" Ducktor Doom threatens them; prompting Captain Americat to throw his shield but the Ducktor activates his platform to teleport away, disappearing from the scene and leaving behind a large pile of destroyed Doombots.
"Well… that was weird" Kaine comments while the rest of the spiders remain baffled at the battle they just witnessed.
"One problem has been solved, but now we have another to tackle" Captain Americat comments, looking at the group of spiders.
"WHOA! WHOA! HEY! Easy there, dude" Peter tries to defuse the situation "We're not the enemy here"
"Well, you're not from these parts either" Iron Mouse quips back at him.
"But they did help in the fight against the Doombots" Captain Marevel intervenes "I saw a good pile of broken ones when we arrived" she adds.
"We did help in the fight" Kitty steps in to talk "Although I'm still trying to process the whole thing" she mutters to herself.
"Hulk-Bunny thinks that suit is familiar" Hulk-Bunny points at Peter, noticing something familiar with his attire.
"Indeed my friend" Croctor Strange adds to his comment "They must be some sort of followers of Spider-Ham" he reveals the name hat Peter and Gwen already knew.
"I wouldn't say 'fans'; we're more like 'friends' of his" Peter corrects the Crocodile but Gwen steps in.
"Uhhh, actually I'd use the word 'acquaintances'" Gwen corrects him, and right then, the rest of the group, except for Kitty and the Arachnid Girl, realize the totem they are looking for.
"Wait, the totem is an actual animal?" Kitty asks the group, with Anya nodding in response.
"Took a while to realize of that but yeah, he's an old ally actually" Anya replies, remembering the time being a former member of the Web Warriors.
"We're from another dimension" Cindy steps in "We're travelling across the Multiverse in the search of fellow spiders, including this Earth's totem"
"Well that explains your appearance out of this world" Black Panda comments.
"So wait, you're telling me then that all that mumbling of Spider-Ham about fighting for the Multiverse is real?" Iron Mouse acts surprised at the revelation "Man, J. Jonah Jackal's gonna have a field day for this".
"Well, one thing's for sure, you're not the enemy" Captain Americat approaches Peter expanding his paw "I'm Captain Americat, you've already met my team, the Scavengers; the Armored Avenger Iron Mouse, Thrr the Dog of Thunder, the Mighty Captain Marevel, the Sorcerer Supreme Croctor Strange, the Incredible Hulk-Bunny and the King of Wakanda Black Panda"
"Wait, why's the King of Wakanda a Panda?" Ben whispers to the Arachnid Girl "Shouldn't be, I don't know, a Panther?" he asks her but she shrugs her shoulders.
"I don't know, we just arrived here" the Arachnid Girl replies with the same whispering tone.
"I'm Spider-Man of Earth-616, she's my partner Shadowcat, and they are my friends of the Order of the Web, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Spider-Girl, Ghost Spider, Scarlet Spiders 1 and 2, Silk and a TBD Spider-Girl"
"I'm not Spider-Girl!" the Arachnid Girl complains muttering to herself.
"Now that the introductions are done, can we look for our porcine pal?" Jessica intervenes, prompting Captain Americat to raise his paw.
"We can help you with that" Captain Americat talks to the group "Iron Mouse, contact Ham and tell him to meet us in the Compound" he tells his teammate to call the totem "With that, we can take you to our headquarters so you can have your meeting, I know it can feel awkward but we have so many questions and I feel that once we gather everyone in the room, we'll get them"
"Oh, I totally get that and I must say, you sound and act a lot like the Captain America from my world" Peter compliments the feline hero.
"I'll take that as a compliment" Captain America kindly replies and then calls for the Quinjet "Fair warning, we'll be a bit tight inside, unless our flyers are willing to carry one"
"I have a better idea Captain" Black Panda steps in and activates his Kimoyo Beads "I'll summon one of my Jets and we can split the passengers" he comments just as the Wakandan Jet hovers above his position.
"WOW! That was fast" the Arachnid Girl quips as she contemplates the ship.
"In this world you can see a lot of stuff like that" Peter comments as he walks towards the Scavengers' Quinjet "We'll see you on the other side" he heads to the ship with Kitty, the Arachnid Girl, Miles and Gwen while Jessica, Cindy, Anya, Ben and Kaine board the 'Pandajet', both ships taking off and heading into the city to reunite and discuss the situation.
MOMENTS LATER, AT THE SCAVENGERS COMPOUND
Once both aircrafts land on the hangar, both groups reconvene in the main room, a place full of state-of-the-art devices not too different from the ones seen back on Earth-616. Captain Americat walks to the main screen where a commercial for an upcoming concert is being broadcasted.
["Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Spectacle of the Decade, BEE-DAZZLER IN CONCERT!"]
"Wait… is that Dazzler?" Kitty asks as she points at the Bee wearing Dazzler's iconic Disco suit on the screen.
"Yes, she's a member of the X-Bugs" Captain Marevel replies "I already bought my ticket, huge fan" she giggles while Kitty remains baffled at the discovery.
"Oy Vey, I don't even wanna figure out if my counterpart is an insect" Kitty thinks just as the sound of an incoming arrival sounds at the Compound.
"And here comes our guest" Iron Mouse comments as he looks at the radar, noticing two blinking dots "And he's not coming alone" he points at the screen.
"Open the upper gate" Captain Americat gives the vocal command and right then the roof opens to give access to the two incoming visitors who were previously contacted. One is a pig who is wearing the traditional red-and-blue Spider-Man attire while his companion is a penguin wearing a white hooded suit with black and purple details, which resembles Ghost Spider's attire.
"Alright folks; must be a huge thing to call for your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Ham!" the Spider-Totem of Earth-8311 makes his presence felt, leaving Kitty with her mouth agape.
"It's… It's a Pig" Kitty mutters in disbelief "It's a Pig… with Spider-Powers"
"I know Hun, just… roll with it" Peter talks to his girlfriend while Ham's companion approaches Gwen.
"Oh my God! You're wearing my stuff!" the Penguin points at Gwen, who looks as baffled as Kitty does.
"Are you… a Penguin with Spider-Powers?" Gwen tries to assimilate what she has in front of her.
"Well, DUH!" the Penguin replies "I'm Spider-Guin!" she finally introduces herself.
"But if it ain't the Head Honcho of the Spider-Crew!" Ham greets Peter and then looks at the rest of the group "WOW! I haven't seen this many Spider-People gathered since that whole crazy thing with the crazy vampires and HEL-LOOOO THERE!" he immediately notices Kitty and jumps right to her side "Welcome to this side of town, Babe" he talks to her with a flirty tone "I'm the Spectacular Spider-Ham, what's your name and what's your number, girl?"
"W-W-What? What's I'm what's" Kitty can barely speak a word after Ham's blatant approach "I'm getting very Shpilkis right now "Kitty tries to shake him off but Ham remains in a close distance.
"Oh Babe, you don't have to worry, I'm 100% Kosher!" Ham flirts with her but then he is pulled away by Peter.
"Alright Pork chops, Back off!" Peter scolds him "Don't get smartass with my girlfriend, I'm watching you"
"How about we focus on the big deal?" Jessica intervenes "Ham, you said you haven't seen us since the Second War against the Inheritors, right? Well, I'm afraid that business is not over yet" she reveals to him the reason of their visit.
"But weren't they turned into babies and were sent to that Old Spider-Grandma?" Ham asks remembering the aftermath of the Second War.
"Yes, but one of them, Verna, is back" Cindy warns him about Verna's return.
"So we're gathering as many spiders as we can" Anya adds to Cindy's words.
"So once again I'm drafted into battle" Ham comments "What do you say, Gwindy? You wanna hold the fort while I'm gone to save the Multiverse?" he asks his companion if she is ready to watch over while he joins the battle.
"You know I'm ready to take over, pal" Spider-Guin replies, poking fun at him but determined to keep things controlled in his absence.
"Well then, sign me up!" Ham exclaims, agreeing to join the Army of Spiders "This will give you a chance to watch me in action, Babe" he looks at Kitty, winking an eye at her while she looks appalled at the gesture.
"Sure, because there's nothing more appealing than a Pig with Spider-Powers" Kitty sarcastically replies.
"Just out of curiosity, I assume your origin's the same" the Arachnid Girl intervenes "You got bitten by a radioactive spider and got your powers, right?"
"Uhhhh, actually I'm a Spider and I was bitten by a radioactive Pig" Ham corrects her, bringing an abrupt silence that was practically preceded by the sound of a scratching record and leaves everyone shocked at the reaction, mostly Kitty, whose right eye begins to twitch.
"Kitty? Sweetie, you OK?" Peter asks with concern.
"I think her brain's having a 'Blue Screen of Death'" Cindy quips while Kitty finally snaps back by shaking her head.
"Sorry, sorry it's just…" Kitty replies and then sighs "No offense but that was… Disturbing"
"Honey, you told me you used to be on a team with a Talking Raccoon and a Talking Tree but this disturbs you?" Peter asks her with a hint of disbelief, making the comparison with Kitty's former teammates from the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
"Yeah! What's wrong with-wait, a Talking Tree!?" Ham was acting offended but then ponders about the 'Talking Tree' in disbelief.
"They were aliens! That's plausible! THIS ISN'T!" Kitty exclaims still in visible shock.
"Honey, we're on a Cartoon World where everyone here's an anthropomorphic animal… Nothing! Here! Is plausible!" Peter points out that detail, to the bafflement of everyone in the room.
"Pardon the interruption" Croctor Strange intervenes "In the need to abruptly change the subject and go back to the focal point of this encounter, who are these 'Inheritors' you speak of?"
"They were a family of Hunters who pursued animalistic totems across the Multiverse" Jessica explains to him "The Spiders are their favorite target" she points out.
"But you said that they hunt for animalistic totems, does that apply to any other kind?" Black Panda asks her but Kaine is the one who steps in.
"They pretty much go for any kind of animal; we're just their favorite ones because we screwed them over and over again" Kaine replies.
"But now that you mention it…" Ben begins to realize a major detail "We're in a world full of living animals, meaning that literally everyone in this room and beyond are targets of Verna" he points that out and right then the alarms at the compound begin to blare.
"Seems like we're far from done with Ducktor Doom" Iron Mouse quips but when he activates the screen, a whole different image display "What in the world is that!?" he points at the screen where Verna's Hounds are wreaking havoc across the city.
"Those are the ones we were talking about" Peter replies "Verna's here already, so we gotta go back and fight her"
"Then let's send that crazy Wee-Wee-#$%&+ all the way home!" Ham quips and then looks at Kitty "Now you're about to see a real hero in action, Babe" he winks at her, leaving her perplexed while Peter starts to grow annoyed.
"Cut it out, Crispy Bacon!" Peter scolds him while Captain Americat calls for his team.
"You won't be fighting this threat alone" Captain Americat exclaims "For she's threatening our home and we'll fight for it" he then raises his shield "SCAVENGERS ASSEMBLE!"
"Yay! Go Team!" Spider-Guin giddily exclaims but then looks around and awkwardly lowers her head "Got too excited…" she mutters to herself.
"Don't worry, I'd probably would've done the same thing" Gwen comforts her apparent counterpart while the heroes gather and head to the fight, ready to bring down Verna.
THEN, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY
"Just look at how many totems are around here!" Verna exclaims eagerly "It's like… how is it that mortals called it? Oh, right! An 'All-You-Can-Eat Buffet' at my disposition!" she contemplates how her Hounds are causing as much damage as possible while the law enforcement officers fail to contain them "I could devour any of you but I prefer to deal with the totem itself" she then looks up to the sky where two aircrafts arrive at the scene "I believe my main course has arrived"
"Get ready people!" Peter exclaims as the doors open and right then both group jump off ready to bring the fight "Let's make sure this 'Ain't All, Folks'!" he quips as he heads towards Verna alongside Kitty, Ham, Guin and Captain Americat.
"That's a nasty piece of a creature if you ask me" Iron Mouse comments as he fires his repulsion beams at Carnage while Ben and Cindy take advantage to attack her.
"Big Meanie looks Tough" Hulk-Bunny talks as he looks at Rhino who rushes towards him "HULK-BUNNY STRONGEST ANIMAL THERE IS!" he exclaims as he uses his strength to stop her, prompting Miles and Jessica to attack her legs and allow Hulk-Bunny to lift her and slam her down.
Bloody Jane uses her tendrils to attack Kaine but then they are stopped by magic chains summoned by Croctor Strange who binds her to keep her down.
"You are no match for the power of the Eye of Aga-Crock-tto and the Sorcerer Supreme" Croctor Strange comments while he uses his magic to add a mild electroshock to her.
"These creatures sure mean business" Captain Marevel comments as she fights against Raptor "But the sky's my playground and no winged creature will tame this Kree born Mare!" right then she fires her Photon blasts at her to take her down, allowing the Anya connect a strike as she crash-lands.
"I've fought with foul beasts like you" Thrr, the Dog of Thunder assists Gwen against Black Cat as she dodges her tendrils and fires web-lines to hold her while Thrr swings his Mjolnir to charge it "But all of them have met the same fate, A TASTE OF THUNDER!" he then fires a massive bolt of lightning to the sky that quickly strikes down at the Hound, leaving her beaten.
"You are quite the challenge; no wonder the Alpha Hound picked the trained one" the Arachnid Girl quips as she fights against Silver Sable, but before she could strike back, she is intercepted by the Black Panda.
"Your skills are formidable, I admit" Black Panda comments as he blocks each attack but then he lands a barrage of punches at her, with the last one pushing her down "But you're not quite skilled enough to fight against the King of Wakanda".
"You think any of you have a shot against me?" Verna unsheathes her claws and jumps to attack, being blocked by Captain Americat's shield.
"Alone? Not by far" Captain Americat replies with determination in his voice "But when we combine our efforts…" then he throws his shield at her, striking at her face to make her stumble "The results are more favorable" he adds as he watches her try to regain her composure but then she is yanked by Peter, pulling her into Kitty's welcoming punch right into her nose.
"Once again, our Tag-Team Combo makes wonders" Peter quips as Kitty gives her a couple of kicks.
"It never fails, Hun!" Kitty comments, dodging Verna's attack as she stands back up but then she ends up being distracted by Spider-Guin who flaps her wings as she spins to slap her repeatedly.
"Take that! And that! And that!" Spider-Guin exclaims during each cycle of slaps but Verna manages to stop and grab her by the head.
"ENOUGH!" Verna exclaims, holding her to begin to absorb her life force "I've have had enough of you!" she angrily talks but then she drops Spider-Guin as she begins to feel nauseated "Oh by my father's soul! Your energy is too tampered to taste it!" she shows disgust but fails to notice a certain pig behind her.
"Wanna try something different?" Ham calls her as he holds his personal mallet "Here! Have a sample!" he smacks her with the mallet, sending her into a collision course against the piled up and defeated Hounds.
"Wait a minute, where'd he get that mallet?" Kitty asks in confusion, prompting Peter to look at her and gesture as if he says 'Are you really asking that question?', to which Kitty facepalms in response "Right, Cartoon World, sorry"
"I don't know about you guys but I think we can actually end this one right here and now!" Gwen comments as Verna and her Hounds are surrounded by the spiders and the Scavengers, but Verna manages to reach her device and activate it.
"Not this time!" Verna exclaims while the portal opens underneath them "You have just won another round!" she then vanishes alongside her Hounds leaving the scene after being humiliated.
"Well, for the first time we can agree with Verna" Peter quips "We won another one"
"All thanks to my little friend" Ham comments, impersonating the iconic Scarface's voice.
"Still, Verna will keep on going, and so should we" Miles points that out, prompting Peter to activate his device.
"And Porky Pig over here agreed to join, so…" Peter then uses the device to 'spin' a new Dimensional Watch for Ham "With that you should go to Loomworld and reunite with the spiders we already managed to recruit" he explains, prompting Ham to activate his new device.
"Roger that, and hey, thanks for the visit" Ham thanks them as the portal opens "And Babe…" he then looks at Kitty "I'll see you at the battlefield, tsk-tsk" he winks at her and does the 'fingerbang' gesture, to which Kitty rolls her eyes, visibly annoyed as he jumps through the portal and closes quickly.
"He's getting this close to become strips of bacon" Peter mutters in annoyance after Ham leaves.
"Thank you for helping us out" the Arachnid Girl thanks the Scavengers as they gather around.
"It's been an honor to fight alongside brave heroes like you" Captain Americat compliments them "Farewell and good luck in your journey!" then he leads his team as they jump up to their jets and leave.
"Now that he left, it's my duty to protect the city" Spider-Guin comments and looks at the Order of the Web "Wish me luck!" then she shoots a web-line and swings away, leaving them behind.
"Is she gone?" Kitty asks, to which everyone nods "Finally!" she exclaims, frantically activating her device "I don't want to spend another second in this Looney Tunes Wackadoo World!" she then opens the portal "I'd rather go back to Staten Island than coming back here!" she then grabs Peter's hand and pulls him with her into the portal. The rest shrug their shoulders and just proceed to walk.
"I'm curious, what's on Staten Island?" Anya asks the rest of the group.
"If you believe the reports, monsters are living there now and Deadpool's their King" Jessica replies, explaining the situation on the former borough which has become the New Monster Island.
"She prefers to deal with Deadpool than this?" Cindy asks in disbelief but regardless, the group managed to recruit another spider to the battle, getting closer to the numbers they need to take the full victory in this Hunt.
THEN, AT LOOMWORLD
With the group of spiders already gathered at Loomworld, their focus now relies on setting up their acquired weapons against Verna and her Hounds. Right then, the portal opens revealing the arrival of Spider-Ham.
"Oh Luuucyyyy, I'm Hooooome!" Ham exclaims in a sing-song tone, prompting a couple of familiar faces to greet him.
"Ham!" Mayday greets him with a welcoming hug.
"Mayday! Good to see you're alive!" Ham returns the hug "How's your baby brother?"
"Great, the Pig has return" Noir comments with a slightly annoyed tone.
"Hey! Weren't you dead? Or that's what I heard" Ham replies with a deadpan tone.
"I'll tell you everything, follow me" Noir gestures with his head to follow him to his already assembled team. Meanwhile, Octavia Otto keeps checking her notes, still trying to figure out why Karn's memories took so long to be triggered.
"You should stop worrying about it" Julia tries to calm Octavia, whose mind is focused on the notes "Karn is back and we have the advantage we needed, all it took was a bite from… that" she points at the spider on the Master Weaver's shoulder "Who is that, by the way?"
"This little fella is my companion" Spider-Zero replies as she looks at the little spider "He's my connection to the Web of Life and Destiny, my tether so to speak" she explains, and that manages to spark Octavia's attention.
"Wait, what did you say?" Octavia makes the rhetorical question "The creature is our link to the Web?" then she begins to connect the dots "The creature acts as a mystical link and hence is attuned to… OF COURSE!" she exclaims in a triumphant tone "When Karn died, he was the Master Weaver, his essence was attuned to the Web of Life and Destiny, so in order to properly trigger his memories back the connection needed to be reestablished, hence why the bite managed to do that! God, why didn't I thought of that variable!?" she holds her head but Julia and Spider-Zero give her a comforting hug.
"Hey, hey, it's alright, even the great minds have a slip from time to time" Julia talks to her "But we figured it out and Karn is back"
"Speaking of which…" Spider-Zero then points at another portal where Pavitr walks out.
"Ladies and Gentlemen…" Pavitr smiles as he begins the introduction "Allow me to reintroduce, the one and only KARN!" he then steps aside to allow Karn to walk through the portal, revealing his new attire.
Like Verna, Karn decided to ditch the Victorian look for a more modern appeal: Black combat boots, black leather pants, a red tactical vest, a dark grey shirt underneath, red fingerless gloves and a long-sleeved black trenchcoat; also, he now sports a new haircut, having decided to get the undercut to remove his long hair.
"I must say… it feels real good to be back" Karn smiles with confidence "Now... Pavitr has already put me up to speed with what I missed after my untimely demise so I believe the time has come to plan for our victory" he shows determination after having a new lease on life, but before he can make the full of it, he must settle the score with his sister.
A new spider has joined the fight! Let's give it up for Peter Porker, the Spectacular SPIDER-HAM!
One of the very popular ones had to make it through the Hunt, and of course no visit to the Cartoonish world of Earth-8311 would be complete without the appearances of many other characters like Ducktor Doom, Captain Americat, and my new incorporation, Captain Marevel (just imagine a blonde mare with Carol's outfit). And also, poor Kitty, she had to deal with Ham's flirting and the overall insanity around her LOL!
Now, before I go, I'm sure you've seen the September Solicits for Marvel: On one side, apparently the X-Men's "Hickman Era" might be coming to an end with the Inferno miniseries (we'll find out in December); will that also mean the end of Krakoa? Who knows? But on the other side, Marvel didn't wait too long to announce who will be taking over the Amazing Spider-Man run, but while I trust in most of the new writers and I have nothing against Ben, I really hope they don't kill Peter as they've been promoting it, I hope he'll be just out of commission to the point where Ben has to take over and keep going on his redemption with Peter (Although, I will point out that I'll ignore most of these things for my "Alt-616" Universe).
