Thor, Jane, Erik and Darcy are sitting at a table in a diner. Jane asks Thor how he got inside the cloud.
Darcy asks how he could eat a whole box of poptarts and still be hungary.
"Was it the value pack or the regular one?" Peter asked.
"Really? That's your question?" MJ asked.
Thor drinks something from a mug and says that he likes it.
Darcy agrees and says that its great.
He says he wants another and throws the glass on the ground.
A few people laughed, others rolled their eyes. "Please tell me that you learn proper table manners during your time on Earth." Tony said.
A waitress walks over, Jane stands up and apologizes. She starts to pick up the broken glass and asks Thor why he did that.
"Yeah, what was that?" Clint asked.
"On Asgard, that is how we ask for another drink." Thor said.
Thor says that the drink was delicious and he wanted another.
Jane says he could've just said that.
Thor says that he did.
Jane says she meant he should've asked nicely.
Thor says he meant no disrespect.
Jane tells him not to smash any more glasses.
Thor says he won't.
"Ah, yes the slow evolution of manners." Tony said happily.
A man walks into the diner and asks Izzy for his usual.
A man tells him that he missed some excitement at the crater and that a satellite crashed into the desert.
Another guy says that they were having fun until the feds came.
Jane asks if they said that a satellite crashed.
Darcy pulls her phone out to take a picture of Thor for her facebook.
Everyone laughed.
Erik asks what the satellite looked like.
A man says that it was heavy and no one could lift it.
"They are not worthy." Thor says and flips his hammer in the air and catches it.
Thor stands up.
A man says that the feds told them it was radioactive.
Thor walks up to him and asks which way it was.
The man tells him that its 50 miles west and tells him not to waste his time because the government is there.
Thor walks out of the diner, Jane follows. Thor starts walking down the middle of the street, drivers start yelling at him.
"You can't just walk down the middle of the road, Thor." Rhodey sighed.
Jane catches up to him and asks him where he's going.
Thor says that he's going 50 miles west.
Jane asks why.
Thor says he's retrieving his belongings.
Jane asks if he owns a satellite.
"Its not a satellite." Thor said.
Thor says that its not what people are saying it is.
Jane says that the government thinks its theirs so he can't take it.
"The government thinks everything is theirs." MJ said, everyone gave her an incredulous look. "Tell me I'm wrong." She said.
Thor tells her that if she takes him there he'll tell her everything she wants to know. And that all of the answers she needs will be hers once he has Mjolnir back.
"So you bribed her?" Maria asked.
Darcy asks what 'mew-mew' is.
"Did she just call your hammer the noise that a cat makes?" Loki asked.
Erik asks if he could have a word with Jane. Jane, Erik and Darcy walk away Erik asks her not to go with him.
Jane says that it cant be a coincidence and they need to find out what's in the crater.
Erik says he's talking about Thor not the crater.
Jane says that Thor promised answers.
Erik says that he's delusional and that everything he's saying is from stories he grew up with as a kid.
"Most of those stories, you will find to be false." Loki said, before anyone could get any ideas.
"You said most... that means that at least some of them are true." Natasha said.
Jane says that she's just driving Thor to the crater.
Erik says that Thor's dangerous.
Jane apologizes to Thor,saying that she can't take him.
Thor says goodbye and kisses her hand then bids farewell to them.
Erik says to get back to work and the three of them walk away.
A car drives past them with a truckload of equipment Jane notices that they have her stuff.
"See. The government thinks everything is theirs to do with what they please." Mj said, clearly having made her point.
She runs into the house and asks what's happening.
Coulson introduces himself and says that he's with SHIELD.
Jane asks if that's supposed to mean something to her and tells him he can't take her stuff.
Erik runs up to her and says that the situation is more serious then they thought and tells her to let it go.
Jane says that its her life and she can't let it go.
Coulson says that they're investigating a security threat and that they need to appropriate all of her data.
Jane asks if he meant they're going to steal it.
"Yep."
Coulson hands her something and says it should compensate her.
Jane says she can't buy replacements and that she made most of the equipment herself.
Coulson tells her that she could do it again.
Jane says she could sue them for violating her constitutional rights.
"She could."
Coulson apologizes and says that they're the good guys.
"That probably means nothing to her right now." Strange said.
Jane says that her group is too and that they're close to understanding something extraordinary and that everything they know about it is in her book or in the lab and that they can't take it away. Someone takes the book.
"Did you guys really have to take the poor girls research?" Shuri asked as she and the other scientists in the room started glaring at Coulson.
She went to run after him, Erik held her back. Coulson thanks her for her cooperation.
"What cooperation, you all just went in there while she was gone and took all of her stuff." Tony said. "See this- this is why I don't like nor trust SHIELD." He whispered to Pepper.
Erik, Darcy and Jane are sitting on the roof and says that years of research is gone.
Darcy says that they took her iPod.
"You took her iPod, really? Was that necessary?" Shuri asked.
Erik asks about the backups.
Jane says they took those too.
"You guys are nothing if not thorough." Hope muttered.
She says that they took the backups of the backups and says that they were thorough.
Darcy says that she just downloaded 30 songs onto her iPod.
Jane tells her to stop talking about her iPod and asks Erik about the people who took their stuff.
Erik tells them about a scientist he knew, he says that he was a pioneer in gamma radiation. He says that the scientist was never heard from again once SHIELD showed up.
Everyone looked at Bruce. "You?" Tony asked.
"Yeah." Bruce said. "There's obviously more to the story but yeah."
Jane says that SHIELD won't do that to them and she's going to het her research back.
Erik asks to let him E-Mail a colleague that has dealt with SHIELD before.
Darcy reminds him that SHIELD took his laptop.
"Damn."
Sif and the warriors three walk into the throne room. Sif says that they must speak with Odin but she pauses when she sees who is on the throne, the camera pans to show Loki.
"You." Clint snarled.
"Of course it was me, Father was in the Odinsleep and Thor was banished." Loki said.
Loki greets them.
Fandrall asks where Odin is.
Loki tells them that Odin has fallen into the Odinsleep and that Frigga fears he may never awaken.
"Is that why you told me father was dead or was there another reason?" Thor asked, still bitter that Loki lied about that.
"That was a part of why I told you he was dead. The other reason was because I was angry." Loki said.
"You were angry so you told Thor Odin was dead." Tony said slowly, not entirely sure he was hearing this correctly.
"I should have you know that for some people, a sudden surge of overwhelming negative emotions can drive a person mad." Loki explained.
"So you're saying you only really went crazy in the first place because you were hurt, angry and betrayed?" Gamora asked, starting to see some parallels between him and her sister.
Sif asks if they can speak with Frigga.
Loki says that Frigga refuses to leave Odin's bedside and that they can bring their urgent matter to him then he calls himself their king.
Sif and the warriors three kneel. Sif requests that he end thor's banishment.
"Is Loki even allowed to end the banishment? Like how does that whole thing work?" Sam asked.
Loki says that his first act as king can't be to undo Odin's last act.
"Guess that answers that question." Steve said.
He says that they are on the brink of war with the Jotuns and that the people need a sense of continuity in these times.
Sif stands up, Hogan and Fandrall grab her arms. Fandrall agrees that they should stick together.
Loki tells them to wait for his word.
Volstagg asks him to reconsider.
Loki says that they're done speaking.
"So they're all mad at you because they think you're up to no good and you wont go against your father's wishes and bring Thor back?" Rocket clarified.
Erik is sitting at a desk, on a computer. He stands up and walks over to a bookshelf and picks up a book on Norse mythology. The first page he turns to says 'bifrost.' The next one says 'Thursday: Thor's day.' He scoffs and closes the book.
Jane is sitting in a van outside, she watches Thor walk into a pet store.
"Why do you need to go to a pet shop?" Peter asked.
Thor walks in and says the he needs a horse.
"You did not just walk into a small town pet shop and demand a horse." Clint sighed.
The man at the counter says that they don't have horses and they only have dogs, cats and birds.
Thor says to give him something big enough to ride.
"Yeah, you can't really ride a cat or a dog, Thor." Bruce said.
Jane pulls up outside of the pet shop and honks and asks if Thor still needs a ride.
Thor walks over to her and gets in the car, she starts driving and says that she's never done something like this before and asks if Thor has.
Thor says that he has many times and calls Jane brave for doing it.
Jane says that they stole her life's work and she has nothing to lose.
Thor says that she's more clever than anyone else in the realm.
"It looks like Thor has a crush." Tony teased.
Jane repeats the word 'realm', confused.
Thor asks if she thinks he's strange.
Jane says she does.
"Well at least she's honest." Pepper said.
Thor asks if its a good or bad strange.
Jane says that she's not sure.
"I'm not too sure there is a good strange but of there is, I'm willing to bet she thinks you're that." Clint said.
Jane accidentally drives off the road and asks Thor who he really is.
Thor says that she'll see soon.
Jane says that she promised answers.
Thor tells her that she's looking for a bridge.
Jane asks if he means an Einstein- Rosen bridge.
Thor says he meant a rainbow bridge.
Jane says she hope's Thor isn't crazy.
"She's probably so confused." Ned said.
Frigga and Loki are sitting on either side of Odin, who's sleeping. Loki says that he never gets used to seeing Odin like that.
Frigga says she's afraid of what will happen because he put it off for so long.
"Wait so this happens regularly, but he just decided to hold off on this one until his spontaneous collapse?" Quill asked. Thor and Loki nodded.
Loki asks how long it'll last.
Frigga says that she doesn't know because they were unprepared for it.
Loki asks why Odin lied about his adoption.
Frigga says he kept the truth so Loki wouldn't feel different. She says that they're family and they shouldn't lose hope that Thor and Odin will return to them.
Loki asks what hope is left for Thor.
"You didn't think I could change and learn" Thor asked, hurt.
"I will admit that in that moment, if those few days, I did not think you had it in you to see what you did wrong." Loki admitted.
"To be fair, it is hard to change someone who has thought the same way for their entire life, especially when that person had lived as long as we have, but you should have more faith in him Loki." Valkyrie said.
"When did you become logical?" Loki asked.
"I would say when but since we 'had to have a talk about things we cannot say' I won't say when." Valkyrie said.
Frigga says that Odin has a purpose for everything he does.
Loki scoffed at that. What purpose did he have to lie about Hela only to tell us what was coming right before he died, unleashing her and leaving them do deal with his mess.
Thor and Jane drive up to the crater, where SHIELD has closed it off and put a large tent around it. A few scientists are examining the hammer. Jane realizes that it wasn't a satellite crash because they would've just removed the wreckage.
"Exactly. Not a satellite crash which is why we enclosed it, we needed to keep it out of the public eye." Coulson said.
Thor gives her his coat and says she's going to need it.
"Aw, you're already giving her your jacket and breaking into government facilities together." Tony teased. "So romantic."
He puts the jacket on her shoulders and tells her to stay there and that as soon as he has Mjolnir he'll return the items SHIELD took from Jane.
Jane asks if he's going to walk in, take their stuff back and walk back out.
Thor says he's going to fly out.
"I'm sensing some overconfidence and that this is not going to end very well." Scott said. A few people looked at him. "I'm an ex-con, I know firsthand that overconfidence in a situation like this one is going to get you nowhere." He said. "No matter who you are." He added, glancing at Thor.
Two scientists are looking at the hammers heat signature. A tech says that there's a plane about to fly overhead.
An agent tells the tech to reroute it.
Someone says that there's something outside.
The screen shows the outside of the tent. An agent telle 2 other agents to check it out.
A golf cart drives up to a fence. Someone points a flashlight at a hole in the fence.
"Word of advice, you can't really sneak up on spies and expect to be undetected." Natasha said.
Thor punches the driver in the face and hits the other guy with the butt of a gun.
Thor, now wearing a hooded shirt walks over to hide. An agent walks over and sees someone lying on the floor and says that they have a perimeter breach.
Jane ducks down and calls Erik. She leaves a message saying that if he doesn't hear from her to come by the crater site and find her because she did what he told her not to.
Thor runs into the tent. He throws a guy over his shoulder, the gut kicks him, Thor throws him into another guy. He starts running. Coulson says he needs eyes up high with a gun. Clint grabs a bow and starts running.
"Is that you?" Tony asked Clint.
Thor comes down a ladder and kicks an agent into another agent, he kicks another one in the head, then starts running, he takes down two more agents and kicks another through the tent. Coulson walks up to someone and asks whats happening.
The agent says that there's been an electromagnetic surge and that there systems are barely coping.
Coulson asks Clint to talk to him.
Everyone glanced at Clint.
Clint draws his bow and asks if Coulson wants him to slow Thor down or if he's sending in more men for him to beat up.
Coulson says he'll let him know.
Thor walks into the room where his hammer is, an agent kicks him in the chest. Thor says he's big but he's fought bigger.
A few people snorted.
Thor punches him in the face. The agent punches him back. They fall through the tent and into the mud. The agent puts him in a choke hold Thor elbows him. The agent throws him off. They stand up, Thor jumps and kicks him in the chest, then in the head.
Clint tells Coulson to call it because he's starting to root for Thor.
Thor tears part of the tent off and walks in, he steps toward the hammer.
Clint says that this is Coulson's last chance to call it.
Coulson says he wants to see Thor try and lift Mjolnir.
Thor put his head in his hands, slightly embarrassed about what was about to happen, but more disappointed.
Thor puts his hand around the hammer and tries to lift it, it doesn't move.
"Wait, you weren't worthy?" Bruce asked. "Well, father deemed me unworthy, and banished me do I would learn my lesson, I guess in that moment, the lesson had yet to be learned." Thor explained.
He gives up and screams in rage.
Coulson says that the shows over and tells the ground agents to move in. . An agent handcuffs Thor and takes him away.
Heimdall is shown watching.
