Miraculous: Tales of Dove Papillon, Cat Noir, Night Crow, and crew.
Chapter 1: Dimension traveling.
(Author's notes: Inspired by my former Black Crow Flies story, my Miraculous Ladybug and Ghost Rider crossover story, and the Worldbender fanfiction series, this story features a different spin on the cast meeting a person from another universe. Only this time around, there's gonna be SIX people from OUR world. However, just so we're clear, I'm not – I repeat – I'm not stealing any elements of the Worldbender fanfiction series whatsoever. I wish I could have someone collaborating with me on my stories, but we don't always get what we want. In addition, I have trust issues.
In this story, my main OC, by the name of Daniel Williams, will become known as Night Crow, wielding the most powerful fan-made version of the Crow Miraculous to date. This one literally features the concept of numerical unity, meaning that this Crow Miraculous has all the powers and abilities of all the Miraculouses shown on-screen so far, in addition to various other powers. That includes the powers of specific Akumatized supervillains, but not necessarily every single one in comic book existence.
Just so we're clear, in this story, there's gonna be THREE Butterfly Miraculouses instead of one: the "primary" Butterfly Miraculous/Moth Miraculous in Hawk Moth's possession, a secondary Butterfly Miraculous that represents transformation with the same powers, and a third one that represents elegance.
The five other OCs of this story are as follows: Sally Garcia/Angel Mariposa, with the "real" Butterfly Miraculous. Lydia Wood/Butterfly Woman, with the "elegant Swallowtail Butterfly Miraculous." Emmett Boedigheimer/Beetle, with the Beetle Miraculous. Only thing is, this guy will look like various incarnations of the Marvel supervillain, The Beetle. Tyson Arias/Buitre Negro, a black vulture-themed hero with the Vulture Miraculous. And finally, Sumalee Danvers/Leona, with the Lion Miraculous.
Just to satisfy curiosities, this story takes place sixteen days before the Origins episode, going in the "correct" chronological order.
However, let me be crystal clear: the aforementioned OCs belong to me. Everything else, including the setting, the main characters, the side characters, etc., belong to Thomas Astruc, Jeremy Zag, and ZagToons Entertainment.
However, unlike my other stories, there's not gonna be any of the characters narrating when their dialogue is highlighted or in italics.
In addition to that, the two butterfly heroes have almost all of the same powers and abilities as our resident Night Crow.
Furthermore, in this story, there'll be some fan-made changes. First, this change is for heroic Miraculous users who resemble flying insects and flying animals. Instead of the heroes developing wings in their transformed states upon reaching adulthood or accessing their space powers, the Kwamis associated with the Miraculouses that resemble flying animals and flying insects will be able to grant their owners their wings at any point in time. The second change is for the heroic Miraculous users in a similar manner to the ones in my fanfiction crossover. Instead of the heroes' costumes being standard costumes that typical superheroes wear, the Miraculous heroes will have their "chronological" outfits merged with their space outfits and any form of body armor depicted in this story. The third change is for the Miraculous detransformation countdown from my crossover story. Inspired by the story "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug, Cat Noir, White Loup, and Bunnyx" by Vgn Golley, the detransformation countdown will be ten minutes instead of five. Next, the fourth change will be the amount of Miraculous jewels in Master Fu's possession. Instead of the usual 19 Miraculouses in the Zodiac Miracle Box, there's several more in the box. Then there's this: the next change is the usage of Plagg's altered personality and food preferences. Only difference is, Night Crow will contribute to Plagg becoming more mature, thanks to the one superpower "borrowed" from Reverser: personality inversion. Next, this change will involve the usage of secret siblings of the heroes. Then there's these next changes borrowed from my crossover story: the not-so-straight relationships from the show that I disapprove of will not be in this story no matter what people say. Caline Bustier and Hobbie Damocles will not be the incompetent excuses for school teacher and principal they were in the chronological timeline. And the characters who are chubby or stout will be more muscular in this story. Next-to-last, for the transformation phrases for the Miraculous jewels, the words will only allow the heroes and villains to transform and detransform when the words are spoken. Whether the characters shout the words or say them out loud for only them and the Kwamis to hear makes no difference. And lastly, the final change is this: while Kwamis can't be filmed or perceived by robots like in the cartoon, that would be because, in this story, the cameras in question are not infused with the divine magic of the Miraculouses in the hands of the heroes. Same with all advanced robots, such as Markov/Robustus and Aeon Hill/Uncanny Valley. Ergo, if these devices and AIs were to be infused with Miraculous magic, the kwamis could easily be filmed.
Enjoy chapter 1.)
(Real Life Earth 1, 1600 hours, third person POV...)
In New York City, a group of six friends had just finished watching the Miraculous Ladybug New York Special on their TV.
Once the TV turned off after the credits started, the six friends started chatting among themselves.
The oldest member of the group, Daniel Williams, asked the others, "Now, was that New York Special something to behold and cringe at or what?"
The second oldest member of the group, Sally Garcia, answered in detail, "Yep. It was quite the sight. Even I didn't expect to see Knightowl in a real person perspective, nor did I expect her to look almost 100% like Ladybug's voice actress as a civilian."
The third oldest member of the group, Lydia Wood, remarked with a shudder of revulsion at the end, "Yeah, and I didn't expect to see someone looking like that to have a seriously scary and ugly scowl. Buuughh."
The fourth oldest member of the group, Emmett Boedigheimer, remarks in agreement, "Yeah. If we were to ever meet our favorite Ladybug herself, we'd better not bring up that scowl. I'd have nightmares for many days."
The six some chuckled a bit.
The fifth oldest member of the group, Tyson Arias, states to them in wonder, "You know what? I wonder what it would be like to experience the Miraculous Ladybug cartoon from a first person view."
The sixth oldest member of the sextuplets, Sumalee Danvers, reminds Tyson, "I'd be careful about what I wish for if I were you, Tyson. As far as our shared beliefs have taught us, nothing good ever comes from any form of magic, especially magic jewelry. Besides, everyone knows that absolutely no one is immune to the powers of the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses. If even one of us were Akumatized, and Hawk Moth forced us to reveal anything, not only could he find out Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities, but he could also gain an advantage with our foreknowledge at his fingertips."
They all hummed in curiosity and agreement.
As the six friends chatted away, they began discussing why Ladybug, Cat Noir and their allies never thought about giving their outfits a combination hybrid of their spacesuits and elements of Jade Turtle's body armor. There were some theories here and there, including that the heroes probably thought they didn't need any magic armor, even against sword-wielding villains other than Hawk Moth.
However, what they didn't notice was that their TV started flickering with multicolored sparks. The six some never noticed. That is, until the sparking sounds got louder and the colors started illuminating the room.
Once the six friends went to check it out, they were immediately surrounded by multicolored flashes infused with magic.
The six some huddled together to protect each other. Only, their efforts resulted in them being instantaneously pulled into a portal leading to their destinies.
(Unknown Miraculous Earth, August 18th, 2015, 1800 hours...)
The portal soon deposited them in an alley next to Master Fu's massage shop.
They were unconscious for about five minutes until they were woken up by someone.
The male voice said, "Wake up, young men and women. Everything is all right."
Daniel woke up first, dazed as he tried to recognize the voice.
Once he looked at the familiar supercentenarain, Daniel's eyes widened in shock and fear.
Master Wang Fu says soothingly, "Don't be afraid, young Daniel."
Daniel asks softly, "Master Wang Fu?"
Master Fu smiled softly as he replies, "So you've heard of me. Good. This'll make things easier."
Soon as the others woke up, they were taken to Master Fu's massage shop.
Master Fu states to the six some, "I bet you're wondering how and why you came to my reality. I transported you here after searching your Earth for worthy champions with foreknowledge to help me in the war against this so-called 'Hawk Moth.' I was hoping that the six of you could help me find the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses, and the spellbook."
Daniel spoke up, "Yeah, except you seem to forget one important detail: the moment any one of us gets Akumatized and Hawk Moth forces us to reveal even one bit of information from our memories, he could get a hold of our respective foreknowledge."
Master Fu sighs in slight disappointment and replies, "I expected as much. But, I will bestow upon you special Miraculouses that will make you immune to the power of the Moth Miraculous and the Peacock Miraculous."
Master Fu went to the phonograph, inserted the code, and held out a replica of the Zodiac Miracle Box. Inside were the Crow Miraculous, the Butterfly Miraculous, the Swallowtail Butterfly Miraculous, the Beetle Miraculous, the Vulture Miraculous, and the Lion Miraculous.
Sumalee says to Master Fu in a blunt, but gentle manner, "I'm sorry, Master Fu, but we come from religious families. Our religions and our families have taught us that nothing good ever comes from magic in any form, especially magic jewelry. Heck, even the Johnathon Blaze iteration of the Ghost Rider said himself that he agrees that nothing good ever comes from magic, as it attracts the attention of the Fallen Angel himself. When it comes to any specific use of magic, there's a price to pay, and it's usually either demonic possession, a development of power hunger and/or a lust for vengeance, fame, and immense wealth. No matter the dimensional universe, The Lord has a tolerance level of zero for any of His children who would have the audacity to use any form of magic other than stage illusions and sleight of hand."
Master Fu sighs again and responds, "Hhhhaaaa. I anticipated as much. But bear in mind that if it weren't for The Lord Himself, the mage would never have created the Miraculouses in the first place, and the heroes of the past, present and future would not come to be."
Daniel grumbled a bit and retorted, "Good point. But if any of this goes south, and we end up murdered by Hawk Moth, the Angel of Death will make the guilty parties suffer. I just KNOW it."
Master Fu took Daniel's word for it and held out the Crow Miraculous. The Crow Miraculous was nothing more than an eighteen-piece jewel. The first part looked like a crow-style ring with a metallic crow shape on top of the circle. The second part was a crow-style necklace that had a crow's head on it. The third part was a crow-style bracelet with a crow's wings on it. The fourth part was a crow-style brooch with a crow's wings stylized to resemble the Butterfly and Moth Miraculouses. The fifth part of the Crow Miraculous was a pair of crow-style studded earrings that attach by magic. These earrings had small crows attached to them. The sixth part was a crow-style hair comb resembling a crow itself. The seventh part was a crow style nose ring that attaches by magic. The eighth part was a crow-style Panjas bracelet. The Panjas bracelet looked like it was full of metal chains and emerald stones. The ninth part of the Crow Miraculous looked like a crow-style pocket watch in the same model design as the Rabbit Miraculous. The tenth part of the Crow Miraculous was a crow-style choker necklace. The eleventh part of the Crow Miraculous was a crow-style Ouroboros bracelet. The twelfth part was a pair of crow-style glasses. The thirteenth part was a pair of crow-style hair clips. The fourteenth part was a crow-style circlet. The fifteenth part was a crow-style thumb ring. The sixteenth part was a crow-style collar necklace. The seventeenth part was a crow-style pearl anklet. Lastly, the eighteenth part was nothing more than a crow talon pendant necklace.
Master Fu said in detail, "Daniel Williams, all of these eighteen parts are part of the Crow Miraculous, which grants you the power of numerical unity and numerical strength. In other words, you will be given the powers and abilities of almost every superhero and supervillain in existence, ranging from real-life superheroes and supervillains from across the multiverse to fictional superheroes and supervillains. Such a category also happens to include even Akumatized supervillains and Tenshized superheroes. You will lead this new superhero team for the greater good while making sure specific events happen in chronological order. And, since you happen to have the strategic thinking and tactical brilliance to comprehend which methods are useful in our war against Hawk Moth, I'm putting you in charge of this new superhero team. And since you are the oldest, I'm also making you in charge of the holders of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses. Will you accept this burden and responsibility with all that you are?"
Daniel seemed to ponder this for six-point-four seconds before he uttered while doing his best Optimus Prime impression, "I will accept the burden with all that I am."
Daniel was given the eighteen pieces, which he put on.
Soon enough, a black and white sphere came out of the eighteen pieces and revealed the Crow Kwami.
Daniel asked calmly and in awe, "Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Who are you?"
The Crow Kwami responds, "I'm Tally, the Kwami of Numerical Unity And Strength."
Daniel states with a question at the end of his statement, "Okay. I've been meaning to ask this question, and it's kinda related to Miraculous-wielding heroes who resemble flying insects and flying animals. Do they really develop their wings upon reaching adulthood, or can the associated Kwamis give their heroic holders their wings at any point in time?"
Tally answers him with a surprising response, "It's really a bit of both. Not only can heroic Miraculous wielders get their wings upon becoming adults, but they can also get their wings before that if they so choose."
Daniel smiles a toothy grin that shows his pearly whites.
Tally smiles back and states, "Are you ready?"
Daniel answers, "You bet. Let me guess: your transformation phrase is Tally, soaring flight wings on?"
Tally answers without being sucked in the jewel pieces, "Ding ding ding ding ding! You got the guess right in one try!"
Daniel stretches his right fist and shouts, "Tally, SOARING FLIGHT WINGS ON!"
Tally is absorbed into all eighteen pieces of the Crow Miraculous. To put it lightly, Daniel's transformation dance is a combination of Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Queen Bee, Carapace, Bunnyx, Ryuko, Lady Noire, Mister Bug, Hawk Moth, Mayura, Viperion, King Monkey, Pegasus, Multimouse, and Eagle.
Once Daniel got a good look at himself in the mirror, he was amazed at what he was seeing.
He was wearing a metallic sextuple-reinforced steel crow-shaped helmet/mask hybrid that shared design elements of a bassinet helmet, a great helm and an armet helmet. Attached to the mouth/nose guard of the helmet was the beak of a crow that shared elements of a Plague Doctor mask and a raven feather mask. The entire helmet was literally covered in feather-shaped lames of sextuple-reinforced metal sheets. On the inside of the mask/helmet was a voice modulator programmed to make Daniel sound like Eric Draven from The Crow. Attached to the inner sides of the helmet where his ears would be visible were sextuple-reinforced black metal ear guards designed to fit all around his ears. Thankfully, Daniel's new metallic ear guards still allow him to hear everything around him. In addition to that, the outer sides of the helmet are covered in sextuple-reinforced plates protecting the sides of his face. Underneath the armored crow mask/helmet combination was nothing more than a sextuple-reinforced black metal chin guard with metal, leather and rubber straps attached to secure the chin guard to his ears. Affixed to Daniel's face was a sextuple-reinforced protective leather, protective kevlar and protective chain mail mask to protect his face from shards of metal and/or glass in case his helmet was destroyed. Attached to his neck was a black sextuple-reinforced, double-sided bevor plate combined with a sextuple-reinforced, double-plated gorget plate. On his chest to his back was a black sextuple-reinforced metal breastplate combined with a sextuple-reinforced metal back plate that had a sextuple-reinforced cape that can transform into mechanical crow wings when in flight. Attached to the middle of the breastplate was a sextuple-reinforced metal symbol of a black crow in flight from an underbelly angle. Attached to his armpits were really large sextuple-reinforced metal plates that covered his armpits at all sides and angles. Attached to his shoulders were sextuple-reinforced metal Shredder-style armored plates with twenty curved plaques on top of them. However, six of the plaques on the shoulder armor were rearranged in reverse. Attached to his upper arms all the way to his forearms were sextuple-reinforced couter, spaulder, rerebrace and vambrace metal plates forming armor for his arms. Each of the plates were in black. On top of the forearm guards were fourteen curved plaques arranged in the same pattern as the shoulder plaques. On his hands were black sextuple-reinforced metallic gauntlet-style armored gloves with retractable steel, talon-like claws on the fingertips and thumb tips. Attached to the tops of his hands was a pair of sextuple-reinforced, retractable silver triplet-bladed claws in the same style as The Shredder. Attached to his hips were a pair of sextuple-reinforced metal fauld hip armor plates attached to a front and back waist sextuple-reinforced plate of armor, the hip plates and the waist plates being black. These plates of hip armor also had fourteen more of the same curved plaques in the similar pattern. That was mostly because of how long the armored plates were, and because of how tall Daniel was. Attached to his legs were sextuple-reinforced tasset, greave, cuisse and poleyn armored plates. The thigh guards, the upper leg guards, the knee armor plates, and the shin guards were in black, as well. Attached to the knee armor all the way to the shin guards were fourteen more of the same curved plaques. Attached to the sides of the shin armor was three more plaques arranged with the tips pointing upwards. Attached to his feet was a pair of silver sextuple-reinforced sabaton plates on top of a pair of black steel-toed whole grain leather boots. Both the boots and sabaton plates closely resembled Japanese ninja tabi boots. Attached to the tops of the steel plates were six more of the same curved plaques. Next-to-last, attached to the toes and heels of the metal plates and boots were retractable black talon-like blades to represent the talons of an actual crow. Lastly, in an additional twist, the armor pieces were slide-on, attachable by straps and buckles, and the metal itself was double-sided when attached with its compatible pieces.
Daniel says to his friends and to Master Fu, "From now on, the forces of evil shall witness the rise of their worst nightmare: Night Crow."
Master Fu stroked his beard thoughtfully as he states, "Night Crow... I like the sound of that."
Sumalee asked, "Master, how did you know about Hawk Moth?"
Master Fu replies, "Let's just say an armored black bird from the future informed me.
The six friends hummed in curiosity.
Soon enough, the others were given their Miraculouses. Sally Garcia was given the Butterfly Miraculous and took up the name of Angel Mariposa. Lydia Wood was given the Swallowtail Butterfly Miraculous and took the name Butterfly Woman. Emmet Boedigheimer was given the Beetle Miraculous and took up the name of The Beetle, after the Marvel supervillain of the same name. Tyson Arias was given the Vulture Miraculous and took up the name Buitre Negro. And lastly, Sumalee Danvers was given the Lion Miraculous and took up the name Leona.
Soon enough, the six heroes informed Master Fu everything they knew so far that was gonna happen.
In particular, Master Fu was not happy about how Bunnyx refused to tell Ladybug about the Cat Blanc future and how Ladybug's stubbornness in revealing her identity to her partner/crush/classmate resulted in their partnership nearly being irreversibly destroyed on several occasions. Including during the battle for New York, when Hawk Moth tried his first attempt at mass murder and attempted to start World War III if he didn't get what he wanted.
Thus, the seven heroes reached a few unanimous decisions. First, they would have to find a way to reveal Ladybug and Cat Noir's identities to each other. Secondly, they would reveal specific pieces of foreknowledge in chronological order. Thirdly, they would find a worthy permanent candidate for the Rabbit Miraculous as a permanent replacement of Bunnyx. Fourthly, in the event the Heroes' Day Battle comes, they would use the soon-to-be retrieved Butterfly Moth Miraculous to Tenshize an army of superheroes bigger than Scarlet Moth's Akumatized supervillain army. The fifth decision was this: when Lila Rossi arrives, they will make sure that the local high school knows about Lila's true colors. Then there's this: in terms of the sixth unanimous decision, they will invert the personalities of Caline Bustier and Hobbie Damocles to make sure they do their jobs the right way. Next-to-last, they will make sure that Adrien Athanese Agreste/Cat Noir knows about the written consequences of him and Marinette Dupain-Cheng/Dove Papillon – Master Fu didn't know about Night Crow's plans for Marinette just yet – that will arise because of them taking the high road with Lila's lies in the future. Half quarter-to-last, they will make sure that Marinette's parents are made aware of Marinette's destiny. Final quarter-to-last, they will make sure that the events of the Volpina and Collector incidents go differently by making sure that the camera in Gabriel Agreste's office is turned off when Adrien steals the spellbook and the Peacock Miraculous while making sure that the camera footage is erased. Culminating with the Peacock Miraculous and the spellbook being secretly replaced with realistic, but useless clones. In addition to that, Gabriel will be secretly ousted as Hawk Moth to the kids and when Nathalie/Catalyst tries to activate the "Peacock Miraculous," she's in for a nasty, but non-fatal surprise. Last, but not least, they will use the Rabbit Burrow to show Chloe Bourgeois and Sabrina Raincomprix how their actions and words affect the people around them, past, present and future. In addition to that, they will also use the Rabbit Burrow to show Ms. Bustier and Mr. Damocles how their actions – their previously not-so-inverted actions – affect their students.
Soon enough, they went to their new residence as their families were joining them. This was due to the fact that their parents and relatives were heroic dimensional hoppers who shared their firm beliefs about specific subjects, including how unworthy of the Rabbit Miraculous Bunnyx really is.
As nightfall came, Daniel/Night Crow was standing on the top of the Eiffel Tower, looking out at the city below him. His friends stood beside him, keeping silent and sending silent prayers to God as Night Crow said to the skies, hoping that God will answer, "I hope I'm making the right choices for this new future."
The End.
(Bonus post-credits scene...)
Next time on Miraculous: Tales of Dove Papillon, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Night Crow, Angel Mariposa, Butterfly Woman, Beetle, Buitre Negro, and Leona, also known as Miraculous: Tales of Dove Papillon, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Night Crow and crew, is the following. The seven heroes make their debut at the same time Ladybug and Cat Noir make their first appearances.
At the same time, the nine heroes will have to get used to sharing their respective faith and beliefs when it comes to justice, revenge, and the inner workings of even a petty superhero who can't resist punishing their tormentors.
Will Dove Papillon, Ladybug and Cat Noir get along with their semi-futuristic friends?
Read chapter 2 to find out!
(Author's notes: How do you like them apples? This is my first fanfiction story that features my original characters from the "Quadwal cluster" getting transported to the world of Miraculous Ladybug. I hope you all liked it.
In addition, I feel like there's gonna be a lot of bumps on the road to true peace between the world of humanity and the Miraculouses.
Moreover, I had to delete this chapter so I can make some more edits before I repost it. I hope you understand that when it comes to punctuation, grammar and spelling, sometimes I don't see any errors in my stories until I thoroughly proofread the chapters.
