Chapter 31
Ash and Alice are bringing their family and friends to the Wild Area, Alice says, "This place is where Pokemon are usually found. Pokemon in Johto, Sinnoh, and Alola have Pokemon depending on the daytime or night time, in Unova, Pokemon come out depending on the seasons, and for this place, it depends on the weather."
"Weather?" Dawn asks, "What does that mean?"
Gordie says, "There are nine kinds of weather in the Galar Region, Clear Weather is usually for Normal, Grass and Flying Type Pokemon, Cloudy is usually for Fighting, Poison and Dark, Rain is usually for Water and Bug Type, Thunderstorm is usually for Water, Electric and Dragon-Type. Snow is usually for Ice Types, while Snowstorm is usually for Ice and Steel Type. Harsh Sunlight is usually for Fire and Ground Type, Sandstorm is usually for Ground and Rock Type, and finally, the Fog is usually for Psychic, Ghost and Fairy Types."
"That sure is a lot to take in." Gary says, "But I think I understand what you mean, right now we are in Foggy Weather, that's why we can see Ralts, Pumpkaboo, and other Pokemon in the wild, is that right?"
"That's correct." Alice says. "The only problem of this region is that some Pokemon are not inhabited in this region, and there is no such thing as a National Dex in this region as well."
"National Dex...I see what you mean." Serena says. "But what are you going to do with the Pokemon being missing?"
"That won't be a problem, with the help of both RPA and Macro Cosmos, we have a service known as Pokemon Home just by using the application in the Rotom Phone and then do the Global Trade System or the Wonder Trade. By sending the Pokemon to the Pokemon Center, you can wait until the Rotom calls you to get your Pokemon back."
"That sure is amazing." Eve says.
"And since we are here, I'll show you the Wyndon City, this is the place where the Pokemon League of the Galar Region is holding, and it is also where Macro Cosmos and our company are located."
As they get there, they get into the Rose Tower as they head to the office. There, a girl is waiting for them and she says, "It is nice to see you again, Ash and Alice, Bea and Gordie as well."
"Hello to you as well, Elena." Alice says as they shake hands with each other.
Ash says, "This is Elena Rose, she is the former Chairman Rose's daughter, and she is also the current chairman. And Elena, these are my friends and family. They haven't been in this Galar Region before, so we are showing them around."
"I see...it is nice to meet all of you." Elena says with a bow. "Just like what Ash said, I am Rose's daughter, and both Ash and Alice are talented trainers in the Galar Region as they are the ones that stopped the Darkest Day from happening in the Galar Region, not to mention Ash is the one that defeats our own undefeatable Champion Leon and becomes the new Champion."
Alice says, "I know. So how is our Pokemon doing in the jobs?"
"They are doing a good job, I am glad to have them help us out." Elena says.
Gordie says, "If some of you guys don't know, in this Galar Region. We have a special PC known as Rotomi. Not only they can store Pokemon, but you can also use it to do the Lottery."
"Lottery, something like a random ID number is generated; if we have a Pokémon with the same or a similar ID, we will receive a prize? I thought those were only found in Lottery centers."
"We don't have that kind of thing here." Bea says, "There is Pokemon Jobs, there are always some companies or places where job requests are needed, so we can send our Pokemon there to help them out for 1 hour to 24 hours."
"This is just like training, but we can get a lot of experiences as well." Alice says.
As they try it out, Alice points at the one that she has been doing, "The one I am doing is requested from the Macro Cosmos Living. To transport frozen foods in the perfect environment, they need some chilly Pokémon. I have sent 9 Pokemon there to help out, and I can just get them back."
After the Pokemon return from work, they are all sent to Sonia because Alice's team is full, and then she also receives some Moomoo Cheese. "Well, I think I got Moomoo Cheese this time."
Ash says, "That's cool, Alice. I mean, Moomoo Cheese is not bad, since we can use it on our curry as well."
Delia asks, "So is Curry famous in Galar? You two have been talking a lot about this one after all."
"That's right. There is even a Curry Dex as well. Since we are all here, how about we try to make some?" Elena asks.
"That will be great, so what kind of ingredients do we have?" Alice asks.
"We have Sausages, the taste of the boiled sausage really comes out in this curry thanks to the simple seasoning." Ash says as he shows the bag of sausages. "Also there are other flavors as well."
"Can you tell us each of the flavors?" Insey asks.
"Sure, there is Juicy Curry, the contents of Bob's tin bring with them an unexpected volume and richness that one can really enjoy in this curry." Ash shows Bob's Food Tin, and Delia says, "What's inside?"
"Their own curry, though we didn't know what their secret ingredient is." Alice says as she shows another can. "This is for Rich Curry, a precious curry made using Bach's Food Tin, which is said to have never even left the top shelf."
"Bach's Food Tin..." Gary says. "They really are mysterious."
"This is for bean Medley Curry, the by-the-book curry roux and the properly boiled beans together create a rather simple taste." Bea takes out a can of beans, and Mark says, "So beans on curry..."
"And this is for Bread Curry, even if you don't like the idea of eating two kinds of carbs, they're quite filling. It's an extremely amateurish meal." Gordie says as he takes out a bag of bread.
"That will be too full for us." Flora adds. "And I guess that Pasta is also the same?"
"Yeah, it is a dish where one can enjoy a curry with rice and curry with pasta all at the same time. Best to eat it when you're feeling really hungry." Elena says.
Ash takes out a bag of Mixed Mushrooms and says, "There is also Mushroom Curry, the umami of the various mushrooms seeps into the sauce, creating a dish that's a step above most others."
"It is good for vegetarians so far..." Golly says.
"And this is Smoked-Tail Curry, a classic dish for any cook. The tail's umami puts the curry roux in a rank above." Alice says as she takes out a bag of Smoke-Poke Tail
"So that's a Slowpoke Tail?" Dawn asks.
"Of course." Bea says as he takes out a Large Leek, "And we have Leek Curry, its charm is in its overwhelming volume. The basic seasoning does little to dull the flavor of the leek."
"Okay. So there is even Farfetch'd's leek..." Mark says.
"And we can use Fancy Apples as well. It is a class of curry that is most assuredly sweet. It's not for everyone, but it's quite addictive for those who like it." Gordie says.
"Then I will like to try it out." Insey says.
"And we have Bone Curry." Elena shows the Brittle Bones and says, "The flavors imparted by simmering the bone adds depth to the curry roux, yet the flavor remains clean and delicious."
"But we can't eat the bones, right?" Serena asks. "It is too obvious..."
"I know, but we have this Plenty of Potato Curry, this basic and delicious curry is filled with pieces of soft and flaky potato." Ash takes out the pack of Potatoes and says.
"And we have this Herb Medley Curry. The spice of the root provides this simple curry roux with a delightful accent—and can clear out your sinuses!" Alice says as she takes out Pungent Root. "
"Not to mention if you want to eat healthily, you can try Salad Curry. The many vegetables give the curry roux a mellow sweetness. This is a very healthy dish." Bea says as she takes out a Salad Mix.
"Or if you want to be unhealthy, you can try Fried-Food Curry. The hearty fried foods and the spicy curry roux make for a good match, though it weighs a bit heavy on the stomach." Gordie says as he takes out a box of fried food.
"So basically anything you can go with curry... I guess there are even more, right?" Wulfric asks.
"There is Boiled-Egg curry. In a word, superb. The spicy curry roux brings out the tastiness of the egg." Elena says as she takes out a box of Boiled Egg.
"Insey, you might like this one as well, this is Tropical Curry. With one bite of the fruits and one sip of the spicy curry roux, you'll swear you felt the breeze of a southern tropical island." Ash takes out a fruit bunch and Insey says, "Really? This sure is something else."
Alice says, "As for the Moomoo Cheese that we got, we can make it Cheese-Covered Curry. The melted cheese gives the curry a strong richness. This is a curry that's popular with women."
"Cheese on a curry sounds definitely awesome." Minami adds.
"How about a Spice Mix, we can make Seasoned Curry. Strongly seasoned, stimulating, spiced dish. Truly a curry for the curry lover." Bea says.
"Then I can try this one." Golly says, "But I have other ones to try as well."
"We also have Whipped Cream Curry, Thanks to the cream, this is a curry with quite a mild taste. A dish that even young kids will easily enjoy." Gordie says as he takes out a box of fresh cream.
"That sounds a little weird..." Trenor says.
"We also have this Decorative Curry." Elena shows a box with PIkachu and Eevee on it. "An improper curry that casts aside taste in favor of looking cute. It's ideal for taking pictures to share."
"Yeah, it looks like a Pikachu and Eevee, it is so cute." Lillie says.
"Or a Coconut Curry is popular as well." Ash says as he takes a box of Coconut Milk, "The milk's sweetness and richness raise this curry to a stage above most others."
Gladion says, "I guess it is very popular as well."
"And there are Instant-Noodle Curry, when the instant noodles and the curry were combined, they became exactly what you'd expect—junk food." Alice jokes as she takes out the Instant Noodles.
"We also have this Burger-Steak Curry, breaking up the burger into the curry, mixing it, and eating it that way creates a supereffective taste." Gordie says as he shows the Precooked Burger.
Elena takes out the final ingredient, the Gigantamix, and says, "And we have the final one, this Gigantamax Curry. This curry lives up to its Gigantamax name with its overflowing umami taste."
Valerie says, "There are so many Curry, do you guys need help to cook them?"
"It will be great, since we will like to make all of them for us and our Pokemon as well." Bea says as they make the curry.
Here is a new chapter, and right now they are going to eat some curry. I hope you like this chapter and in the next chapter, we will be talking about the upcoming disaster and how Ash and Alice are trying to do with it.
