Outside Fairy Tail's Guildhall
"My children, there is one thing left for us to do." Makarov stated. "Our guild emerged victorious, some of our finest wizards took down all of Phantom Lord's S Ranked Wizards, and one of our own defeated a Wizard Saint.
While tomorrow will be reserved for rebuilding and dealing with the fallout, today is a day for celebration!" Makarov thrusts his fist into the air causing many to cheer and mimic his action. "We'll tear down the guild tomorrow and begin a new one. For now, go nuts!"
Makarov led the charge into the basement as everyone followed.
Fairy Tail's Guildhall: Basement, Some Time Later…
The Fairy Tail Wizards went about their celebrations in a typical fashion. People were drinking, Gray was constantly losing and regaining his clothes, Natsu was fighting, and everyone was having a good time. As of now, the celebration had only just commenced.
It had been perhaps fifteen or so minutes since they had entered the guild. Early into the celebration, Romeo, Jet, and Lucy had serious questions. Since Lucy didn't feel up to summoning Leo/Shisui, they were hoping Loke could give them answers.
Considering everything that had happened, Loke decided to address most of the guild. "Hey, can I have everyone's attention!" Everyone looked to him. "I'm sorry if what I'm about to say brings down the mood, but after today, I can't hide who I am… rather who I was.
The truth is, I was a Celestial Spirit. In fact, I was their leader, Leo the Lion." Everyone seemed shocked to hear this. "There's a reason I never returned to the Celestial Spirit World, and why I joined Fairy Tail three years ago. My previously Contracted Wizard died,"
"That doesn't make sense." Lucy had been there, and she was just as confused as everyone else now. "Take it from a Celestial Wizard. When we die, the contract is severed, and the spirit awaits the day, from within the Celestial Spirit World, a new Wizard takes up their key."
Loke simply nodded and intended to continue telling his story the way he wished. "For three years, I've existed in this world using the reserves bestowed onto me as Leo the Lion. Leader of the Zodiacs. Up until recently, my time was ending."
"Wait, you're dying!" Natsu exclaimed in shock.
"You need to clean out your ear pinky." Gray stated. "He's speaking as though this was in the past tense."
"Shut up stripper!" Natsu retorted.
"I'm not sure what happened, but I can tell you someone willing gave up their humanity to me." Loke stated. "Essentially, when I died, someone willing would have become the new Leo. This guy acted sooner allowing me to be here without the ability to access my old magic.
That's not entirely important in context to me. See, there's a reason I never returned to the Spirit World all this time to recharge. The truth is, I was banished for breaking a fundamental law between wizard and spirit. As a result, I was banished from the Spirit Realm for all eternity."
Something serious enough to banish him from his home for all eternity. Now, that was something Jet, Lucy, and Romeo were aware of as he spoke about his former wizard dying. Considering how hard he fought to save them, they were willing to hear him out.
"My Wizard was Karen Lilica, and she also owned a good friend of mine by the name of Aries." Loke gripped his pants. "She was a popular Blue Pegasus Wizard who would often use Aries as a distraction for the guys she attracted. Aries didn't like all that attention.
When she made that known, Karen would berate her for 'not following orders'. Aries never did refuse her no matter how uncomfortable she was. In battle, we are meant to fight for our Wizard, but Aries was used as a shield. To her, we spirits were considered less than humans. Tools.
It was easy for Karen to take out her anger on us, but Aries was always the spirit she chose. Eventually, it got to the point that she threatened to lock Aries in the human world for seven days. She wasn't like me. Being here that long would have seriously hurt her.
I couldn't take it anymore, so I exercised my power as the leader to switch places with her. Of course, I couldn't do much considering Aries and I were contracted to her. Still, I had one trump card up my sleeve. I demanded she released Aries and I, and my strength allowed me to stay.
Considering she wasn't strong enough to summon two spirits, and I wouldn't fight for her, it'd prevent her from working. I then left her and sat down within a ruin just outside of town. She tried threats at first, but she became more desperate to the point of begging.
When I saw through her deception, she struck out at me, but I refused to budge an inch. Especially when she threatened to work Aries like a dog just to spite me. After three months, I was willing to forgive her. Give her another chance.
The day I made that decision, Master Bob came to me, and I learned Karen died. She had taken a job." Tears came to Loke's eyes. "No matter how terrible Karen was, I never wished death upon her. In the end, she died because of me. Honestly, I was looking forward to my…"
Natsu had ran up to Loke and decked him in the face knocking the Wizard off his stool. "Don't you dare finish that sentence." Loke sat up with his hand on his cheek looking at the Dragon Slayer in shock. "You don't deserve to die for caring about your friend the way you did."
"Yeah, don't be an idiot man." Gray stated. "Karen left you no choice but to act the way you did. Heck, if anyone in this guild were going through what Aries did, I'd have done the same things you did."
"If you ask me, that law is flawed." Romeo declared. "If a person like Karen could get away with what she did, it's truly skewed in the favor of terrible humans."
"Karen's death isn't on your hands." Jet stated. "Yeah, she died, and no one deserves such a fate. Still, she had an out. She could have released you and Aries before continuing her work. She refused."
"If you ask me, this Karen is a terrible Wizard who didn't deserve Celestial Spirits." Kageyama stated. "In the end, you're better off being human, and I feel sorry someone else ended up taking your place if that is the law you live by."
The rest of the guild voiced similar thoughts causing Loke to cry tears of joy.
"Whoever decided on such a ruling was wrong to have done this to you." Lucy declared firmly. "What's the point of having magic if you cannot use it to save the people you care about."
Suddenly, everyone there could feel an immense, magic presence appear just outside the guild.
Cliffside
The guild watched as stars appeared in the sky and spun while water was added to it in a spectacular display.
"It's him." Loke stated in shock. "The Celestial Spirit King."
The King is a gigantic, humanoid Celestial Spirit with an imposing figure, oversized mustache, and red, pupil-less eyes. He was clad in a full set of plated armor with a cape which waved even though there no longer was any wind.
"Hello my old friend." The king stated. "I have been watching this group since my decision was overwritten. As you know, Spirits must obey Celestial Law; however, someone allowed you to escape your punishment."
"Hold on!" Lucy had stepped forward clearly angry. "That's not fair at all. Even now, it's less fair considering Loke is no longer one of your spirits."
"That is right." Makarov came to stand next to her. "If you intend to punish one of my Wizards, then you will make an enemy of Fairy Tail. Behind you is an example of how far we go to protect even one of our family."
Every other Wizard, despite having fought Phantom Lord not even an hour ago, were more than willing to fight this goliath. Especially if it meant protecting their family. Like Lucy before him, Loke was touched by their willingness to fight.
"Loke suffered in the human world for three long years even though he did not kill Karen!" Lucy shouted. "All he did was stand up to her because somebody had to protect Aries! Unlike Master Makarov, that somebody wasn't going to be you Stache Face!"
"Stache Face?" The king questioned.
"Loke may be free now, but all you seem him as is a guilty man." Lucy shook her head. "He is innocent. Karen took on a request she couldn't handle. If you really considered Loke to be your old friend, you'd know the type of person he is."
"My children and I have known Loke for such a short span of time compared to you, yet he has proven himself steadfast and loyal." Makarov stated firmly. "He fought to save three of his guildmates and was even willing to lay down his life for them."
"Loke's gut feelings have helped us on more than one occasion." Cana declared.
"He smiles, laughs, and cries with all of us." Mira added.
Everyone else immediately jumped in with their support.
"Fairy Tail." Loke smiled as he stepped up to Makarov's other side. "You know, I was uncertain how to feel about what happened, but now I'm glad that other guy took my place because Fairy Tail is where I belong."
The Celestial Spirit King looked down at this guild before speaking up. "Well, your bonds of loyalty have moved me. I now see I was not the friend I should have been. I am sorry I did not take our bond into account. Loke, you are innocent for what that matters now."
"King…" Loke smiled as he never realized how badly he wanted to hear those words.
The king turned into a light. "Fairy Tail, you have earned my respect this day. I may not have the right to ask this, but please look out for Loke where I cannot not."
"Like Fairy Tail would ever stop looking out for any member of t guourld." Natsu declared.
"Loke, you were lucky to have found such a loyal family." King stated. "I suggest you protect them with your life just as they were willing to fight for yours."
He was gone before Loke then turned to his guild with a big, sincere smile. "Everyone, thank you."
Loke was immediately swarmed as everyone cheered. This gave them even more of a reason to celebrate as they returned to the basement. That night, Loke would be surrounded by guildmates as he laughed and enjoyed the moment finally free of his self-imposed guilt.
Basement: Later…
Loke was currently alone at the bar as most of the guild members were passing out with only a select few, like Kakashi and Cana, still awake.
Makarov was sitting on the makeshift bar near him. "So, any ideas as to what you're going to do now Loke?"
"Live, for one." Loke smiled. "It'd be in poor taste not to after everyone did so much for me. As for requests, I'm not going to be able to go on any until I find a magic of my own."
"Yes, I suppose that would be rather troubling." Makarov smirked. "That said, you did look rather good in a suit. If you put one on again, I'm sure Mira wouldn't mind the help as a bartender/server."
"Master Bob may not have told you, but one the few instances Karen brought me out, I spent a bit learning the trade." Loke nodded. "You know what, serving Fairy Tail that way doesn't sound all that bad. Count me in."
Lucy stood back staring at her guildmates with a smile. Since this whole fiasco started, she didn't think things would return to what she'd consider normal. Yeah, they had to rebuild the guildhall, but this was still normal enough.
Days Later…
The following day, the Wizards cleared the debris and construction even began. Eventually, the Rune Knights showed up gathering everyone for extensive questioning. By the end of the week, most thought Fairy Tail should get off with a slap on the wrist since Phantom was in the wrong.
Guildhall
Construction was coming along rather nicely with everyone particularly eager to do their share. Natsu may have been a little too eager based on how much he picked up. Especially considering it all ended up falling on him. Gray and Kakashi walked by with better loaded hauls.
"It's a good thing he's durable." Kakashi commented.
"I chalk it up to his thick skull." Gray commented. "All morons got them."
"What did you just call me!?" Natsu yelled as he jumped to his feet.
The two of them began arguing while Kakashi glanced to a particular wall where Juvia was fawning over Natsu. "At first, I thought she was looking for revenge, but after the seventh time she fawned over Natsu, I realized what this was."
Sure, girls fawned over Gray, but a true fangirl was something he thought the Ice Make Mage would acquire over Natsu. While Kakashi absolutely loved his team back in the Elemental Countries, he had to admit that Juvia seemed stronger than Sakura had initially been.
"That's if Natsu's tale of their fight is true." Kakashi contemplated. "Considering he isn't one to lie, she could be a good member of Fairy Tail. Still, best not to scare her off by approaching and just pretend like I don't notice her."
"Cut it out!" Erza soon came in and bashed the arguing Wizards into the ground using a beam. "Get back to work immediately."
"That's Fairy Tail for ya." Kakashi grinned as he walked away. "Good to see things really getting back to normal around here."
Later…
Natsu, Gray, Kakashi, and Happy had gathered for a small break.
"I'm starving." Natsu commented.
"Aye." Happy added.
When's our lunch break?" Gray asked.
They all looked to Kakashi who hadn't commented. "Shinobi are used to a lot of work on little food."
Suddenly, Gray was soaked by water as it delivered a large, pink bento box to the Dragon Slayer. "Who did that?"
"Whoa, that's a large box." Happy commented.
Natsu's nose was picking up good smells. "Wow, this smells amazing!" He opened it to find his face made of vegetables and meat with the word love on it. "Looks good to!"
Juvia was all giddy from her 'hiding place' as her prince seemed to like the meal.
"That's Natsu for you." Gray sighed. "Guess it matches his weirdness."
Natsu had already downed the food. "Oh man, that was great!"
"Hey guys." Mira smiled as she ran up to them holding a paper. "I have a copy of the plans right here if you'd like to have a look."
"I liked how it was." Natsu commented.
Kakashi looked to her. "I don't know, I think there are some changes to be made considering how large a guild we got."
Mira showed a drawing that was presumably done by a five-year-old.
"Man, these are the worst plans ever." Gray commented. "What idiot came up with these?" That made Mira cry as she had been the one to make the plans. "Mira, I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was you!"
"It's official." Kakashi sweat dropped and sighed. "These two are just as good with anything romantic as Naruto and Sasuke were."
While Team Silver Flame was at the guildhall, Team Shadow Gear had gone to find their wayward member. After checking her apartment, they found a letter from Lucy telling them she'd returned home. They immediately went after her.
Heartfilia Estate: Layla's Grave, Later…
Levy, Droy, and Jet all came running to their teammate. "Lucy!"
Jet reached her first. "Lucy, I'm sorry if I wasn't strong enough to protect you and your smile!" He held her hands. "I promise, I'll train harder than ever before to become a man worthy of you. Please, don't leave the guild and our team!"
Lucy was confused and blushed at his words.
"I'm sorry if you feel like we haven't been there for you Lu, but please give us another chance!" Levey shouted. "I've liked having another girl on the team."
"Did someone at the guild say something?" Droy quickly asked. "You didn't have to run. We'd have handled it for you, so please come back!"
She suddenly realized her letter hadn't been that clear making her team worry beyond belief as well as concoct their own theories concerning why she'd come here in the first place. She immediately corrected that mistake and assured them she had planned to come back.
In the end, all three of them were overjoyed she wasn't leaving Fairy Tail or their team. As team leader, Levy did chide her on coming to them with this or at least making her letters clearer. She promised she would if something came up again.
Era: Days Later…
Makarov had to attend a court date with the council before discussing what went down with Yajima. Phantom Lord is to be disbanded and Jose is to be stripped of his role as a Wizard Saint while Fairy Tail was found completely innocent.
Fortunately, Yajima had spoken in defense of Makarov's character. After settling on a ramen for the council member, they spoke of the old days and the old master choosing a successor. Of course, Minato was on his mind, but there was hesitation in how Laxus would react.
Fairy Tail Construction Site
With how well the construction of the new guildhall was coming, operations had been moved above ground completely
"Listen up everyone!" Mira exclaimed. "We're taking on job requests again starting today! You'll have to excuse the mess since we are under construction, but at least you can get back to work!"
That certainly got people moving.
Loke, now wearing a pristine suit, approached Lucy with a milkshake. "Ah, their excitement is like music to my ears." He smiled. "With every passing day, this place becomes as normal as it should be."
"I know what you mean." Lucy smiled at him. "So, how are you taking to your new role Loke?"
"It's better than I remember, and with Mira giving me a refresher course, I think I'm slotting into it rather well." Loke declared. "Still have yet to find a magic to practice though, but I have been looking."
"Why don't you tell the others how you feel!" Erza shouted.
This drew everyone's attention as Erza was confronting Laxus who was just kicking back like he didn't have a care in the world.
"I have no problem telling them what I think." Laxus replied smugly. "This guild's full of nothing but losers and weaklings." He nodded to Elfman and Mest who were still patched up. "Especially those couple of morons.
They were Phantom's personal punching bags." Elfman just clenched his fist angrily while Mest hung off a beam like a sloth. "That brings me to the worst of all. The rich little wannabe Wizard."
Her team was immediately at her side.
"Laxus, knock it off!" Levy shouted protectively. "Master already said no one is to be held accountable for that day."
"Not to mention, everyone else in this guild is leagues better than you." Kakashi was leaning against a post with one of his books out. "By the way, how does it feel being worse than scum?"
"That fight had nothing to do with me." Laxus growled as this guy knew how to get under his skin. "If I had been there, then we wouldn't have…"
"Rather than talk about ifs, why don't you actually show up to the battle?" Kakashi questioned. "Oh, my bad. You can't go back in time, and the battle was won without you. I think anyone who matters can agree Minato came through where you could have."
"Just you wait until I inherit this place silver hair." Laxus declared. "When the time comes, you'll be the first to go. All the weaklings will follow shortly behind you."
"I think at this point, the master has better options than you." Kakashi declared. "If Minato refuses, I'd gladly compete against you myself to keep Fairy Tail as it should be. A home for those who never had it or still call it home despite that."
Everyone cheered at Kakashi's words making Laxus growl again. "Just remember, your days are numbered!"
"Remember I know your secret." Kakashi retorted. "Your magic became my magic as well."
"Copycat Bastard!" Laxus shouted before zipping away.
Kakashi simply went back to reading.
"What a jerk." Lucy sat back down. "Why does he think he has a shot of becoming guild master over someone like Minato?"
"We may not have a choice, Lu." Levy sighed. "Everyone agrees Minato would be the better choice, but Laxus is Master's grandson. That's why he's held off on making a definitive choice."
"Whether we like it or not, the guy has a stake in that position with his only real competition being Minato, Erza, Mystogan, or Gildarts."
"That sucks." Lucy commented. "Someone who talks like that shouldn't be in consideration."
"Hey, let me take your mind off the situation." Loke walked over with a smile. "Would any of the other members of Shadow Gear like something?"
Night…
Makarov had been drinking enough to get a buzz, and as he sat up there, the old man was seriously considering what he'd talked about with Yajima. "Retire, huh? With the new hall, perhaps a new master is in order."
Laxus had personal issues to work through, Mystogan was a recluse, Erza was too young, and Gildarts loved his position as Fairy Tail's ace. That left one man fit for the job, and perhaps it was about time he stopped putting this off to spare Laxus.
"Laxus has had his chance to work through his issues and prove himself." Makarov sighed. "In contrast, Minato was already recognized as a leader by his people and for good reason. Beyond that, he proves himself here and recently did so with Jose."
This would still require more thought, but times were changing. Lord knows Makarov would love to push all that paperwork onto someone younger. Still, he'd seriously consider it more as the new guild was built.
Day…
Lucy was at the bar when Kageyama approached her. "Hey Lucy, I was wondering if you made a contract with Leo?"
"Huh?" Lucy looked at him. "Yeah, and he seemed really eager to do it to. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I just want to confirm something, so could you summon him?" Kage asked.
"I suppose." Lucy took out the key. "Open, Gate of the Lion: Leo!"
"Summoning me already Lucy?" Leo/Shisui appeared facing his Wizard. "Not that I'm complaining, but…"
Kage was just staring at him in shock while Kakashi walked by only to stop next to him.
"Dad/Shisui Uchiha." Kage/Kakashi stated before looking at each other.
"Kage." Leo's gaze went from him to Kakashi. "Kakashi Hatake." He was amazed as he immediately hugged his son with a smile. "Oh, he never told me you two would be here, but especially my son. I can't believe it. My baby boy finally got on the right track in life!"
"Dad!" Kage shouted.
Now, everyone was looking at this display with confusion.
"I figured a parent of yours was an Uchiha, but I never imagined it was Shisui." Kakashi stated.
"We already know this Leo was human, but it's still shocking to know Kage is the son of a Zodiac spirit."
"I know right."
"Jeez, how did someone as bright seeming as him give birth to a Dark Wizard?"
Kage got out of his dad's grasp as he faced the guild. "I'll have you know I originally remained with Eisenwald because they promised to help me find him." He turned his head from them. "I just ended up getting caught up in revenge."
He turned to Leo. "That reminds me… Where the hell have you been! One moment, you tell me you're heading into town to do some shopping. The next day, I don't find out you're gone until I go looking."
"Honestly, I'm not sure, but believe me when I say I'd have been there if I could." Leo looked so confused. "Honestly, it's all a blur. I remember falling into a white and gold light. I think I saw the First or Second Hokage. Then, I'm waking up with Sukea near me."
"You know Sukea?" Kakashi asked. "Is that who he really is?"
"Yeah, I think so." Leo stated. "Anyways, he starts talking about this guild he's going to put together, and I figured joining it would help me find my son. I mean, he did tell me years had passed since I vanished. Then, he contacts me through a lacrima telling me of a war going on.
He's talking about how lives may are on the line, and how I could become the new leader of the Zodiac. Well, I wasn't about to let anyone die if I could help it. Not to mention, he did promise me this would help me find my son… Well, here he is."
"So, Sukea is keeping tabs on Fairy Tail at least." Kakashi looked to the sky. "The question is why and who is he really?"
"So, I'm just double checking…" Kage looked at his dad uncertainly. "…you knew I was in a Dark Guild?"
"I learned of it shortly before being made the offer to become the new Leo." Leo stated. "You know, not a bad move. I was feeling a bit old there, but now I'm in the prime of my life."
"D-Do you hate me for it?" Kage asked uncertainly.
"Hate you?" Leo hugged his son. "Kage, no father should hate their child. I was disappointed you seemed to have lost you way, but I'm over the moon you seemed to have found it once more. Plus, how could I hate you when it was my disappearance that put you in Eisenwald?"
"Dad." Kage hugged him. "I really have found my place, and I'm working to redeem myself."
"I know you are." Leo pulled away. "Now, I should really get back, but I am Lucy's spirit." He looked back at her. "I'm certain she wouldn't mind summoning me from time to time, so that I may see you again."
"For sure." Lucy nodded. "My spirits aren't just tools to be used." She gave a thumbs up. "They're my friends, and I'd never deprive them of family."
"It's thoughts like that which make me glad to be serving you Lucy." Leo smiled. "Rest assured, I will do everything in my power to protect you. Whenever you may need me, call. I will always come." He looked at Kage. "This may have been short, but I will see you again."
He then returned.
Kage nodded. "Thank you, Lucy."
"No problem." Lucy stated. "Any time you want to see him, you merely need to ask."
"I'll keep that in mind without abusing it." Kage walked off with a wave. "Later."
Madara's Cave: ?
A rather muscular young man with dark skin was bound to a table with runes suppressing his magic. He has a rather long mane of dirty blond hair and green eyes. His attire consists of a no sleeved dark blue shirt with matching, baggy pants. Currently, he is out cold.
Near him sat multiple vials with some of them having been emptied while the others noticeably contained blood or other forms of DNA. There were also various books scattered about on magic, the human anatomy, and written books on beings like Zeref, Mavis, and Acnologia.
Madara approached the young man with a glowing, red Lacrima. "When the time comes, this will ensure you play your part in my end."
He put the Lacrima over the young man and shoved it into his chest. His eyes shot open, and he began screaming in agony as red lines ran throughout his body. Eventually, the screaming seized as the young man passed out.
Forest: Morning…
That same young man from the cave suddenly jolted awake and fell out of the tree he'd been sleeping in as he hit the ground, not too far below, with a thud. "Man, that's always such a strange dream."
He heard rustling before a man emerged from the brush. He was tall and muscular with fair skin, a strong jawline, black hair in a shiny bowl-style haircut, and thick eyebrows. He wore a green jumpsuit, orange striped leg warmers, and unzipped flak jacket. A red forehead protector, without a symbol, was worn as a belt.
"Yosh!" the man declared. "Good to see you were up by the time I got back. Not to mention, you seem to be doing your own morning workout. Truly the power of youth runs through you Yusuke."
Yusuke decided to just roll with it as he stood up. "Yeah, that's exactly what I was doing Guy." He shook his head. "Anyways, we should probably return to town and keep moving. Master Sukea would be disappointed in us if we failed to do as we asked."
"Right, you are my boy." Guy declared. "Besides, there is no way I would fail him and miss the chance to see my eternal rival." He pointed off to the right. "Let us hurry young Yusuke!"
He took off while the young man just sighed with a smile. "What are you going to do?" He ran after the man. "Some people just have a great zest for life compared to most. At least he's more amicable than the guy Sukea's been trying to secure into our forming guild."
Fairy Tail Construction Site: Day…
It was another day of labor. Some Wizards were out on missions, but things were progressing as smoothly as they had been. Suddenly, a smoke bomb was thrown into the entrance of their guild. Some thought they were under attack while others just stared at what was happening.
"Hey, what is shaking Fairy Tail!?" Guy appeared from the smoke posing. "How you doing!?"
No one knew what to make of what was happening.
Kakashi recognized that voice, and he looked up from his book only for his eyes to widen as that was exactly who he thought it was. "G-Guy! Naruto saved him, didn't he? Does that mean Guy really died or is this a situation like Orochimaru and Gaara?"
"Whoa, that guy has the bushiest eyebrows I've ever seen!" Natsu exclaimed.
"Aye!" Happy chirped.
"That guy looks weird!" Lucy thought in shock.
"That guy." Erza was shaky. "I didn't know he of all people had family."
Clearly, Erza was assuming this guy was related to someone else.
Gray raised an eyebrow. "Erza, are you okay?"
Guy then noticed Kakashi. "Ah ha, there you are my eternal rival!"
Before he could run over to him, Yusuke stepped in pushing the older man hard enough to send him into the ground. "Guy, I like you well enough, and while it must be great for you to see him, we are here on official business."
"You are right young Yusuke." Guy jumped to his feet. "Thank you for keeping me on track. Now, where is Master Makarov?"
"I am right here." Makarov approached them. "How may I help you gentlemen?"
"Master Makarov, it is truly an honor to meet you sir." Guy stated. "My self and Yusuke were sent by our soon to be master to requests you as the witness to the formation of our new guild."
"That is right." Yusuke nodded. "Master Sukea wanted you above any other master to be there, and he also requests that Team Silver Flame be in attendance to aid with tests and bear witness as well."
"Is that so." Makarov smiled. "Well, I am honored that a new guild master would ask for me to be in attendance, and if my children can aid in helping you establish yourselves, we will. Fiore can always use more legal guilds."
"Then, you will come?" Yusuke asked.
"Of course, we will." Makarov smiled. "Team Silver Flame and I will meet you at the train station shortly."
"Wait a minute!" Lucy spoke up. "I'm not a member of Team Silver Flame, but could I come to? I'm really interested in meeting this Sukea person."
Ever since she heard about the guy, his Celestial Dragon Slayer Magic Magic, and Draco, she had been interested in talking to him. She even asked her most knowledgeable spirit about him…
Flashback: Lucy's Apartment
Shortly after everyone returned from that Eisenwald incident, Lucy had overheard Romeo talking about Sukea. When the God Slayer couldn't provide too much in the way of information, she decided to turn to the most knowledgeable being on the Celestial Spirits.
"Open, Gate of the Southern Cross: Crux!" An old, silver cross appeared before her. "Hello Grandpa Crux." She smiled. "I need you to look into something for me. Could you use your powers to tell me anything you can on Sukea the Celestial Dragon Slayer?"
Crux fell asleep which was how the old man does his search. He suddenly awoke with a scream.
"Did you find any info?" Lucy asked.
"I have found something, and it is the strangest thing." Crux stated. "The one known as Sukea is currently in a contract with all 12 of the Zodiac Gate Keys which should be impossible since all keys now have owners that are not him."
"Really?" Lucy quickly checked her golden keys only to see that they were there. "Is there anything more you can tell me?"
"Beyond having contracts with all 12 Zodiac Spirits, he also has a contract with the Celestial Spirit King, but that is not the case at the same time." Crux explained. "I'll be honest, this is the most peculiar case I've looked into Lucy. He's an anomaly."
"What about his Celestial Dragon Slayer Magic?" Lucy questioned.
"Well, it should be impossible." Crux explained. "The only dragon with this magic, Draco, cut himself off from all things in the living world and settled deep deep within the Celestial Spirit Realm. His only contact all this time is the King himself."
"A real anomaly indeed." Lucy stated.
"At this time, I cannot provide further information as personal privacy laws do apply to Sukea even as bizarre a case as this is." Crux replied.
Crux fell asleep and Lucy looked out her window. "Sukea the Celestial Dragon Slayer… I hope one day I can meet him to even find out a little more information about what's going on."
Present
"Well, Master Sukea has been interested in meeting you himself." Yusuke shrugged. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind."
"I am positive he won't." Guy declared. "Especially when this young lady is displaying her youth!"
"Right…" Lucy stated uncertainly.
"Anyways, we'll be waiting for you, your master, and Team Silver Flame at the train station." Yusuke declared. "See you then."
The pair walked off and the selected people left to prepare for their trip to Era.
