Most people who entered the Diagon Alley for the first time usually couldn't help but stare in awe at the sight, usually first year students of Hogwarts arriving with their parents or guardians to buy their kids' school supplies. Blake Ouroboros was not amongst one of those people, not impressed by the sight in the slightest, having seen much more impressive sights throughout the entire world, both Mundane and Supernatural. The same couldn't be said about the Infinite Demi-Dragon Goddess' adoptive daughter, Karna, who was staring in very clear awe. The little family wanted to bring Entoma along with them to the Alley, but decided against it after Xenophilius informed them about just how… discriminate most Wizards were. Even amongst themselves.
While the Chimera couldn't really pout due not having any proper lips (or cheeks), she understood why, even if she really wanted to go with the little family and Xenophilius to the Diagon Alley when Luna was getting her school supplies. Her mouth and jaw having been changed into one similar to the mouth and jaw of the Rakna-Kadaki she had been alchemically fused with. Even though the Chimera knew that Blake could easily intimidate anyone into backing off, with the possible exception being morons who lacked survival instincts, and would therefore be safe, Entoma didn't want her precious pets/minions to get hurt or worse killed, so she was content with remaining at the Lovegood-residence… but she did mention that she wouldn't mind getting a potion-brewing set, some chalk and some other things, which included a few (live) rats for her Rachnoids (and possibly herself) as snacks/prey.
As Luna, Karna and Xenophilius made their way amongst the various shops in the alley, Blake spotted something that caught her attention, or at least her curiosity. The entrance to Knockturn Alley, a shady offshoot of Diagon Alley. While entering and exploring the shady street was tempting, the surprisingly loud noise near an ice cream stand turned the silvery grey-eyed girl's attention towards said ice cream stand. However upon seeing that there was a rather long line to said ice cream stand, mainly composed of parent and child duos (the children assumably being the younger siblings of students who were in the alley to buy their school supplies), Blake simply levitated onto a nearby rooftop and sat down with her legs hanging over the edge, giving her a perfect view of the entire alley… Or she would have if something else hadn't caught her attention and curiosity.
The Magical Menagerie. Having a certain kind of respect and fondness for animals, she wondered what kind of creatures she could find in the Menagerie… and if she could find something that could make a good pet for Karna, who had voiced her jealousy over not having an animal companion unlike her parents, who had one each, and Entoma, who had four (though the Chimera's situation with her Rachnoids was kind of weird). While the Demi-Dragon Goddess's expression didn't change, her pose changed to a rather common pondering-pose. Her shin resting in her right hand and her left hand taking a hold of her muscular bicep, crossing over her torso and pushing her left arm against her big chest, pushing it upwards with a boing, which earned her a few looks at said chest from the various teenagers in the alley, both of lust and jealousy (in a few cases, both at the same time), which she ignored, not having any reason to care if anyone was staring at her… unless it was Luna, who she didn't mind looking.
"Blake?" Asked Luna suddenly, causing her mate to turn her head towards the Demi-Goddess, who had Karna next to her. "Found something interesting?"
"Indeed." Replied the silvery grey-eyed girl, pointing a finger at the store in front of her.
"The Magical Menagerie?"
"Mena-what-now?" Asked Karna with a tilt of her head, not knowing what a menagerie was nor how to properly pronounce the word.
"Menagerie. A place where you can find various animals. Shall we go inside and see if we can find something for you Karna?"
"Gladly Mom."
"In that case, you two go in and explore the Menagerie. I'll go and get my school supplies and join you two once I'm done. Okay?"
"Okay Mommy!"
"That works. See you soon."
"See you soon."
"Come on Karna. Let's see if we can find you a companion here." Encouraged Blake as she and Karna entered the Magical Menagerie and Luna left to go and buy her school supplies.
