A/N: I haven't posted a story on this site in forever. But I've been really craving a good Harry Potter and BNHA crossover only to not find one quite to my liking. This is pretty much the prologue, but I have more than ten chapters already planned out and summarized, so more will come soon.

Bill Weasley directed the curse breakers provided by Gringotts bank as they cautiously worked through ancient wards. A mysterious tomb had suddenly appeared in the middle of downtown Tokyo, Japan and a request had been sent out for help with containing it.

Japan's magical society was more a coalition of powerful families than a single government body and as such didn't have a dedicated curse breaking department. When a request for help had been sent to the ICW, Bill's team employed by Gringotts had been recommended.

Which was why he was here now, coordinating the obliviator teams as delvers cataloged and prioritized which curses and artifacts should be handled first.

One artifact in particular had required a call for additional help. It radiated energy like a ticking time bomb despite its appearance in the form of a small golden sphere. Something in the tomb was sending it constant energy and he didn't want to risk disrupting the flow by trying to move it.

The energy could send a backlash through the artifact, and until they knew more about it, the risk of a violent destabilization was too great.. Hence the outside help.

A crack split the air and Bill let out a breath as he turned to face the newly arrived Harry Potter.

"Harry, thanks for coming."

The newly appointed head auror of the British Law Enforcement branch smiled at Bill as he fixed his robes. He had never seemed to fully get over the way portkeys ruffled his appearance.

"No problem. Your message said you needed someone with large reserves?"

Bill nodded as he looked over his little brother in all but blood. Time hadn't been treating the green eyed man well. There were dark rings under his eyes and his skin seemed especially pale. He was only twenty six, and yet he already had to deal with the grief of burying his four year old daughter and handling a divorce with his little sister Ginny.

No one in the Weasley family blamed him for the tragedy and yet Bill knew Harry was blaming himself plenty. Bill gently grasped Harry's shoulder and gave it a comforting squeeze.

"I'm here to talk if you ever need it Harry."

The look Harry sent Bill was equal parts grateful yet pitiful. Harry appreciated the gesture, but he had never been one to let out his sorrows on others. A hand ran through messy black locks as a quiet chuckle escaped him.

"I know, Bill. I know."

He knew, but Harry never once looked at Bill's eyes as he said that. Bill knew it was unlikely he would take him up on the offer, and Bill wasn't one to push the subject. It was enough that Harry knew he had someone to talk to if he wanted it.

"Anyway, I called you here because there's an artifact that needs to be fed constant energy as we move it to a containment box. It's been checked for curses and everything came back negative. We just need you to send it a steady stream of power as you pick it up and move it."

Harry followed Bill into the tomb. It was a weird mix of oriental and aztec architecture and had gold inlaid into the stone support pillars. It reminded Harry of an entrance hall, which was weird for what was supposed to be a tomb.

"How much power are we talking here?"

Bill hummed as he brought Harry deeper into the tomb, casting detection spells as he went.

"A lot. The power this thing gives off far exceeds the reserves of everyone on my team, including me. Your stamina when it comes to spell casting is the stuff of legends among aurors, so you were the first person that came to mind."

Bill wasn't exaggerating when he said that either. It was a well known fact among the magical community that Harry's reserves had been recorded to far exceed that of Dumbledore in his prime. If anyone alive in the world today came close to rivaling Merlin in power, it was without a doubt Harry James Potter.

A faint blue glow drew Harry's attention and Bill watched his face sharpen as they entered the room housing the golden sphere. The atmosphere the thing gave off was hard on Bill and his team. Simply being in the room made it hard to breathe. It was easy to tell that Harry could feel the exact same thing.

"Do you have any idea what the thing is supposed to do?"

Bill stood next to an apprentice curse breaker and looked over the notes that had already been taken.

"As far as we can tell it's some sort of command artifact. It resembles a puzzle in structure and has multiple runes and lettering in different languages on the outer surface. Twisting the different layers lines up the runes for purposes we aren't aware of yet."

Harry's green eyes were sharp behind golden rimmed glasses. Bill knew whenever that look crossed his face that Harry was focusing intently on a problem in his head. There was a shift in the air and Bill drew in a slow breath as he felt the weight of Harry's aura spread out across the tomb.

It was always an experience whenever Harry let loose the reins on his magical reserves. A glance at the shaky apprentice beside him let him know he wasn't the only one affected by it. Almost made him feel sorry for the kid.

"You were right to call me. Whatever is powering that thing is highly unstable in nature. The only thing keeping it from destabilizing is the constant flow of energy running through it. It's almost as if the flow is keeping it cool enough to keep from going supernova."

Bill paled at the last word.

"Not comforting, Harry."

Bill then turned back to the apprentice.

"Go and get the temporal containment box. I want to get this thing disarmed before anything disastrous happens."

Harry walked closer to the artifact and the glow lit up his face in shades of blue. Bill could admit that Harry had grown into a handsome man as he hit his twenties, a final growth spurt hitting him just as he graduated from Hogwarts. The short, uncoordinated youth was a thing of the past as Harry now matched Bill in height.

Bill was completely straight and loved his wife Fluer, but he could admit if he ever fell for a man, it would be someone as handsomely beautiful as Harry.

Once the containment box was set up on the ground close to the artifact, Bill moved closer to Harry and handed him a pair of gloves.

"Here. We don't know how it'll react to human touch. These are warded to protect against touch based curses."

Harry slid them on with ease, his gaze never once leaving the small golden sphere.

"Stand back. The magic density is going to get really heavy. You need to be able to move if something happens."

Bill nodded and ordered everyone in the room to head outside. Bill was the only one left as he moved to stand near the far wall.

"Ready when you are Harry."

Harry nodded, letting loose his aura as he brought his right hand to hover over the orb. Circulating his magic as his hand lowered, he felt the pull as the orbs energy sought out the new source of power.

Matching the flow of magic being pumped into the orb, Harry finally set his gloved hand over the golden casing. He could feel the energy being pumped from somewhere down below the tomb and up into the orb.

Slowly slipping his own magical aura into the orb, it pulsed a few times before happily grasping onto his aura instead of the one below it. Harry felt his breath leave him at the feeling of the orb leeching off of him. If anyone other than Harry had attempted this, he had no doubt they would be dead in seconds.

Determined not to waste any time, Harry picked up the orb and turned to kneel down next to the containment box. The temporal pause placed over the box should keep the artifact locked in a state outside of time, allowing for the safe transportation of the dangerous ticking time bomb.

He would have placed the orb into the box, except fate once again decided to play with Harry's destiny.

In the form of an earthquake.

The ground shook violently and Harry's head snapped up as his body and magic were jolted at the sudden movement.

Harry could only let loose a quiet "Oh-" as the orb backfired and a mass of energy exploded out and consumed him, blinding Bill as he ducked and cast the strongest shield charm he knew.

The light dimmed as quickly as it came and when Bill looked back up, Harry was nowhere to be seen.

A/N: This is pretty much a canon Harry Potter up until a certain point where a tragedy separates it into an AU twist. He pops up in the BNHA world next chapter, so wait for that.
