Hi there,

This took forever and I have no idea how it evolved into an actual normal chapter length update to be honest.

First part is the family history as of 323AC and should give you an inkling of the future to come while the second part of this update is a 'special scene' for you to enjoy.

Chapter 118: Family Trees of the Great Households of Westeros & Secret Scene

323AC …

House Arryn

Queen Kenna Arryn (b274AC/Age 49)

Queen over the Mountains and now known as the 'Silver Falcon' due to her long flowing silver hair. After the wedding of Sansa and Arty, and seeing Jorge to Casterly Rock she returned to the Vale, with the twin focus of rebuilding the Knights of the Vale and the decimated Arryn Fleet, knowing that trade with Essos had always been the quickest and most reliable way to prosperity in the Vale. She charged the task of reforming the Knights of the Vale to Lord Andar Royce, who proved to be reliable if not the force his father (Yohn Royce) had been. Her dream is to rebuild the Eyrie back to its former glory with improvements but in her old age, she has accepted it is something she will never see completed in her lifetime and hopes her descendants will finish the job. The years have mellowed her and she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and visiting Riverrun and Casterly Rock in more recent times, allowing Yohn to assume more and more responsibility to prepare him for ruling alone. The last time she killed someone was when she slit the throat of her would-be assassin in 315AC after he was caught trying to enter her private chambers by her personal guards. There was no need to attain who sent him, despite his fair complexion he had the stink of the Dornish all over him. The man's skull is now a toy in her grandchildren's playroom. Qyburn keeps her informed of the goings-on in King's Landing and she knows another war is brewing; the assassination attempt is only past proof of that but she will not be provoked into declaring a fruitless war on Dorne alone. But every day the threat Prince Orys poses to the cohesion of the independent Kingdoms of Westeros is increasing as he gathers allies loyal to him. She officially had three children with Jaime Lannister (*Tywin Lannister); twin sons Yohn and Jorge and a daughter, Leyla.

Prince/Ser Yohn Arryn (b301/Age 22) & Jeyne Royce

Heir to the Vale. Yohn was groomed from an early age by his mother to rule the Vale as his younger twin was by Tyrion to rule the Westerlands. He loved growing up with his little sister in the Vale but every day felt the absence of his twin. The bond he has with his brother was forged not just in the womb together but in the chaotic times under Qyburn's care during Queen Daenerys's war for the Iron Throne. Yohn's enthusiastic interest in the martial arts and the majority of his childhood spent in the training yard ensured he became an accomplished and renowned duellist, participating in many tourneys and melee tournaments which he normally won. Yohn took the Arryn name to keep it alive and with his dark brown hair and deep blue eyes, no one objected. He married Jeyne Royce, a granddaughter of Lord Yohn Royce, to reward House Royce's loyal support to House Arryn. Their marriage is a happy one. Jeyne's quiet but diligent nature contemplates Yohn's more boisterous and fiery personality. Despite Yohn's reservations on being able to carry the responsibility of continuing the Vale's rehabilitation once his mother passes it is considered that the Vale's future is safe in this couple's hands. They have five children so far.

- Artos (b315/Age 8) – Named after the greatest warrior Yohn has ever known, his cousin Artys Greystone. There are plans for him to squire with his grandfather, Lord Andar Royce. He favours his Lannister blood, with emerald-like eyes and dirty blond hair. He is a loud and attention-seeking child that displays the furious temperament of his father when provoked. He is already a head taller than most children his age and displays a reckless fearlessness when practising swordplay with his father.

- Kendra (b316/Age 7) – Named in honour of Kenna. She is a quiet but confident child that enjoys hearing her grandmother's stories before going to sleep. She regularly sneaks away from her septa to play games with her older brother. The only sign of her Lannister blood is her piercing green eyes which she shares with her elder brother. There is talk of sending her to foster in Riverrun like her aunt (Leyla) was.

- Ronnel (b317) – A stillbirth. An event that almost claimed Jeyne's life too. It is said that Yohn never left her side as she recovered.

- Jason & Anbar (b319/Age 4) – Named for their official grandfathers (Jaime & Andar). Before Kenna revealed Yohn's true parentage. Not much is known about them except they are completely identical and take after the Arryn bloodline.

- Sharra (b321/Age 2) – Although only two years old she is considered a natural beauty and her bright blue eyes captivate all whom she deems worthy of her curiosity.

King Jorge Lannister (b301/Age 22) – See House Lannister

Princess Leyla Lannister (b306/Age 17) – Leyla is a graceful and considerate woman until she gets into an argument. She loves debating and discussing the latest events and happenstances. A trait that is encouraged by both her mother and Tyrion's raven messages. She is an independent thinker and adventurous. She would regularly convince Yohn to take her out beyond the walls of the Gates of the Moon to ride their horses for hours and explore the since abandoned Mountain Clan hideouts. There is nothing she loves more than riding her multiple mares and is even known to ride her brother's stallion from time to time. Her idyllic world shattered when it was announced she would foster at Riverrun when she was fifteen but it was in Riverrun that she would run into the love of her life. Torrhen Stark, Robb Stark's firstborn. See House Stark for more details.

House Lannister

Lord Tyrion Lannister (b274/Age 49)

Regent to King Jorge Lannister until he became of age. The early part of his reign was focused on repairing the damage done to Casterly Rock during the War for the Dawn so it was in a habitual condition again and on Jorge's education as the future King of the Westerlands. Even after his regency ended, he was Jorge's most trusted and sought out counsellor. He focused his efforts on the further rebuilding of the partially destroyed Casterly Rock and on the economic prosperity of the Westerlands which due to his shrewd management and the still prosperous gold mines regrew at a faster rate than any other kingdom. He never married but his nightly activities were a thing of legend and there was always a stray donkey found on the streets of Casterly Rock the next day. He has a close and trusted bond with Jorge which only deepened upon the reveal that they were siblings. He also maintains a sweet correspondence with Leyla by letter, who he considers his favourite sister by far and refers to her as little Tyriona in jest during their correspondence. He discreetly visits the tombs of his father and twin siblings on a regular basis and the sound of crying can sometimes be heard. His once-bright smile has dimmed with age and he has accepted his caretaker role in the legacy of House Lannister.

King Jorge Lannister (b301/Age 22) & Rohanne Marbrand

King of the Westerlands. He looks every bit the spitting image of Jaime Lannister but where a smile came easy to the Kingslayer's lips there is rarely one upon his supposed son's. Jorge is by nature a stern and unyielding man. The only time he visibly relaxes and can be heard to laugh is when he is with his siblings, and more frequently when he is playing Tyrion at a game of cyvasse enjoying his elder brother's stash of fine wines. He prides himself on being able to read people and staying ten steps ahead of any plot that may be levelled at his family. Although separated from his siblings at the tender age of five he has maintained a strong connection to them by raven and with multiple visits to the Vale throughout his childhood and teenage years. His siblings are the only ones that see the more considerate and gentler side of him. Although proficient with a sword and a bow he prefers to command his men rather than fight with them, understanding his mind is more useful than his sword. He has overseen the recruitment and training of the new Westerland's army that numbers over 20,000 strong. Under Tyrion's guidance, there isn't much he doesn't know about the history of the Westerlands or the management of his Kingdom. His marriage to Rohanne Marbrand is a loveless but functional one. A match made to ensure the stability of the Westerlands going forward. They have four children and it is those rare cute interactions between father and children that keep Rohanne hopes alive that Jorge's icy walls will one-day thaw and love could bloom between them.

- Tyanna, Tyburn & Tyrion (b318/Age 5) – Triplets named for the three people Jorge considers had the biggest impact on his childhood (Kenna, Qyburn & Tyrion). All three children are small for their age and possess green eyes but only Tyanna has the famed blond Lannister hair while her brothers favour the dark brown of their Marbrand and Arryn heritage. Tyrion is to be fostered in the Vale and become a page to Queen Kenna's court at the Gates of the Moon within the year.

- Tywin (b322/Age 1) – Named in honour of Jorge's real father when he found out the truth. The babe is rumoured to be an absolute terror to his wetnurses.

Princess Leyla Lannister (b306) – See House Stark

House Tully and House Greystone

King Artys Greystone (b290/Age 33) & Queen Sansa Tully (b285/Age 38)

A love match that is immortalised by bards all around the Kingdom, the One-Eyed Giant and his Fair Lady. Immediately after their marriage they sought to repair the war ravished Riverlands which was aided by the confiscated toll wealth of the Freys at the Twins but it is a long road to recovery and the echoes of the War of Five Kings and a Queen are still felt by the smallfolk in the land. Prosperity is beginning to trickle down with regular trading routes established to the West, East and North due to their Queen's and King's blood relations to the surrounding kingdoms. After the birth of their first child, Sansa was able to convince Artys to abandon his hopes to change the Ironborn's ways and leave the Iron Islands be. Riverrun and the Riverlands are managed well under Sansa's guiding hand and the Kingdoms owes much of its ongoing recovery to its Queen's ingenuity and diplomacy skills, and if they fail, normally with the Blackwoods and the Brackens, the threat of their King's Great Axe is enough to get them to reconsider.

- Princess Alysanne (b307/Age16) - Named for Artys's mother (Alyssa) but takes after Sansa in looks and temperament. She is married to Patrek Mallister, heir to Seagard and is currently pregnant with their first child.

- Prince Tommen (b308/Age 15) – Heir to the Riverlands and the Iron Islands and acting Lord of the Twins. Due to his wild nature and his parents' decision to not wed him to either a Blackwood or Bracken a betrothal has yet to be secured. Named for the man who saved his father's life from his uncle's (Robb) strike. He shares nothing with his namesake. He is a fierce warrior with a desire to explore not only his future Kingdom but all of Westeros. He wields Silver Fang. He is an unruly and energetic young man that is rumoured to have fathered a bastard already.

- Princess Aria (b310/Age 13) - Named for Sansa's sister who fell fighting the Night King during the Battle of Casterly Rock. She takes after her father in looks and is tall for her age. Betrothed to twenty-year-old Florian Mooton, only surviving son of Lord William Mooton and heir to Maidenpool.

- Prince Hoster (b312/Age 11) – Named Lord of Darry. A studious and engaged child with active blue eyes that take in everything around him. He enjoys visiting the markets and seeing the wares the merchants have brought. Sending him to the Citadel was considered before a betrothal to Marq Piper's daughter was arranged.

- Princess Lyrra (b320/Age 3) – Called the 'Winter Babe' on account of Sansa's late age when giving birth to her.

House Stark

King Robb Stark (b282/Age 41) & Queen Wynafryd Manderly (d315)

Robb quickly married Wynafryd after returning to the North before Artys and Sansa's marriage in 306AC. It would be the last time he ventured south of the Neck before travelling to Riverrun for the marriage of his first-born son, Torrehn, to Kenna's daughter, Leyla (the child he ironically saved by refusing to kill Kenna in the Throne room years previous). He dedicates his time to the restoration of the North, focusing on knowing his bannermen and understanding their plights while trying to solve them with the limited resources of a war-torn North and Winter's harsh bite still felt until spring came in early 310AC. The North is still trying to recover to the levels of resources it had before the War of the Five Kings and a Queen but can muster over 10,000 green recruits if necessary. He had a pleasant and dutiful relationship with his wife that warmed each year until her death. He considered taking another wife but decided against a fourth marriage to focus on his three sons.

- Prince/Ser Torrhen Stark (b306/Age 17) & Leyla Lannister (b306/Age 17) – The Heir to the North. He is a calm and dutiful man, that aims to do right by his people but his father instilled in him the concept of putting the well-being of the Kingdom before any personal honour. He is the spitting image of his grandfather (Eddard Stark). He is mediocre with a sword in his hands but rides like the wind and is an expert archer. As a consequence, he enjoys tourneys more than melee contests but currently wields one half of the Stark ancestral sword Ice, Trident's Vengeance while his younger brother wields Long Claw. He is straightforward and dislikes courtesies, seeing them as a waste of time. He has a strained relationship with his younger brother Eddard, due to his younger brother's superior martial ability and popularity with the young North nobles. He first meets Leyla during a tournament (321AC) hosted at Riverrun and they immediately disliked each other; Torrhen hating her boisterous and opinionated views and Leyla is irritated by his stiff and blunt manner. After a tilt where Torrhen's unconscious defeated opponent was revealed to be Leyla in disguise, the two became inseparable to the point where Torrhen asked to squire with King Artys in Riverrun. Although the match isn't what either set of parents had planned, both accept the love the two share. He was knighted by Artys the same year of his marriage to Leyla. May the future be kind to them …

- Prince Eddard (b308/Age 15) – Is Brandon Stark reborn. He wields Long Claw with ferocity and laughs with enjoyment at every strike. Winterfell's practice yard is always filled with his booming voice and gleeful tones as all his sparring partners fall to his flurry of blows. He enjoys the company of various women whether they be highborn or servants. He smiles easily and friends flock to his charming and open personality. He has a strained relationship with his older brother who is disapproving of his carefree ways and cracks further with every jest that it is he who should wield Trident's Vengeance as the better swordsman, not his older brother. He is betrothed to a niece of Howland Reed.

- Princess Catelyn (b310) – Died a few weeks after her birth.

- Prince Jon (b315/Age 8) – Not much is known about him apart from the fact his mother died giving birth to him and he has never left Winterfell. It is rumoured he is a skin-changer like his uncle Bran.

House Tyrell

King Loras (b281/d312 Age 31)/ Queen Alicent Hightower

Loras married his cousin Alicent Hightower, the daughter of his Uncle Baelor Hightower. Theirs was a political union necessary to hold the Reach together in the wake of the near-collapse of House Tyrell and the winter ravished fields. With House Hightower supporting Loras the Reach was able to survive the worst of winter and war. Now it's reaping the benefits of a moderate harvest which has helped in stabilising the Kingdom and ensure there is a little surplus left over to trade with the needy Kingdoms surrounding it. King Loras died in a hunting accident in the company of his Uncles Garth and Humfrey in 312AC soon after the birth of his second son. It is said that Lord Leyton Hightower rules the Reach from on high in Oldtown through his son (Baelor) and granddaughter (Alicent) in Highgarden with the legitimacy of Tyrell blood in his great-grandsons (Willas and Garlan)

- King Willas (b309/Age 14) – Takes completely after his mother's family, with fair skin, luscious golden curls that shine in the sun. He is the physical embodiment of his grandfather (Baelor) and is considered one of the most handsome young men in Westeros and is always surrounded by a court of young Reach nobles. He is a squire for his Great Uncle Garth and is eager to be knighted by his sixteenth name day. He recently wed Horas Redwyne's eldest daughter, Minsia (his third cousin? Cousin three times removed?)

- Prince Garlan (b312/Age 11) – A bookworm and serial reader that has an odd silver streak going through his golden hair. He spends an almost unhealthy amount of time in the libraries of the Citadel while warding with his great grandfather (Leyton Hightower). Despite the Archmasters announcing he would be a future Grand Maester contender, his mother refuses to send him to the Old Citadel for tutelage until Willas has an heir.

House Baratheon of Storm's End

Queen Shireen (289AC) & Consort King Simon Dondarrion, nephew to Beric Dondarrion

Shireen grew into a studious and confident Queen, ruling her Court by her quick wit and adept mind. Her subjects noble and smallfolk alike respect her decrees and firm hand over the land despite her hideous face scarring. She is helped in her reign by her unassuming and kind husband who knows his place by her side and in return is allowed to satisfy his sword-swallowing desires (likes both boys and girls) with whomever he pleases since Shireen's succession is secured through their three children.

- Prince Daveth (b307/Age 16) – Heir to Storm's End and future King of the Stormlands. Named for Davos and takes after his namesake in feeling most comfortable on the seas at the command of the newly built 'Storm Fleet' (50ish ships strong). Despite his Baratheon blood, he is just over average height with a lean built that favours speed over strength but his tricky and unpredictable fighting style mean he is a handful for anyone, especially if they don't take note of his twin daggers (Antlers) on his belt. He is wary of his second cousin's Orys's ambitious desires to reunite the Seven Kingdoms under his own rulership and discusses the topic regularly with his mother.

- Princess Sarra (b308/Age 15) – A pretty, comely young woman who is Argilac Durrandon reborn. She was sent to the Court of King's Landing to be a lady-in-waiting to Queen Maris Rosby. She has since become good friends with her second cousins, Jocelyn and Cassandra, before they left King's Landing. She is seduced by her second cousin Orys and they have engaged in sexual activity for over a year now. She is ultimately loyal to her brothers and mother though, keeping them informed of Orys's pillow talk and future ambitions to sit on the Iron Throne as King of the Seven Kingdoms.

- Prince Lyonel (b312/Age 11) – A strong and robust child with a mop of black hair that loves to play knights and outlaws with the noble children in Storm's End. He has stated his ambition of being a great knight many times and his elder brother indulges him in the practice yard. He has an infectious smile and strives to uphold the chivalrous code of a Knight. His favourite tales are always about Ser Duncan the Tall.

House Baratheon of King's Landing

King Gendry Baratheon (b284/Age 39) & Queen Maris Rosby (d315AC)

His early reign would have ended in disaster and a city-wide revolt if not for the unseen strings Qyburn pulled over the streets of King's Landing and the extra Baratheon manpower his cousin, Queen Shireen, provided for the first few years until a new City Watch could be established. His marriage to Maris Rosby (a granddaughter of Gyles Rosby) saved his future reign by giving him a skilled political tactician with the wealth and pull of her Crownland family to support his reign and their children. He is known as the 'Blacksmith King' due to his tendency to still craft his own weapons and indeed he made the large hammer known as Thunderstrike for his eldest son's 12th name day. The match although initially political between Gendry and Maris grew into a genuine love for one another and Gendry has refused to remarry after her death. He has a lackadaisical parenting style and it shows. Most of his children are wilful and unruly but many point to that as a sign they are just of true Baratheon blood.

- Prince Orys (b307/Age 16) – Robert Baratheon reborn on the battlefield but with more ambition and active drive to conquer. Spends most of his time sparring, drinking, making firm friends and whoring his way through the Court at King's Landing. He is considered one of the most skilled and brutish warriors in all the Kingdoms. He wields an iron hammer he calls Thunderstrike and rides a black stallion called Stormbreaker. He is constantly surrounded by a gaggle of young nobles and aspiring knights. His best friend and frequent sparring partner is Durran Massey (heir to Stonedance and only son of Lord Justin Massey). His second cousin Sarra is his preferred lover but enjoys the company of Princess Myriah when she visits King's Landing to negotiate various deals on the behalf of her father with Gendry. He visits the mother of his bastard daughter, Ellyn Waters, when none of his regular lovers are available. He aims to seal the Reach's support in any future wars with marriage into House Hightower but has yet to make any moves to establish a match. He is itching to be King, not just of the Crownlands but of Westeros and he isn't known for his patience … can he wait for his father to die of old age? Or will Qyburn act on Kenna's behalf to cut short this ambitious Prince's dream?

- - Ormund Waters (b321/Age 1) – Not much is known about him apart from the fact Orys has acknowledged him as his bastard son by a local miller's wife.

- - Ellyn Waters (b321/Age 1) – Black of hair and has a healthy set of lungs. The daughter of a King's Landing whore that claimed the father as Orys. He can't refute sleeping with the mother and the babe does look like him so he claims her and named her after her paternal aunt as an insult between the siblings.

- Princess Jocelyn (b308/Age 15) – A typical Baratheon beauty; tall, dark-haired and lean with a playful smile always dancing on her lips. Resides in Griffin's Roost with her newlywed husband Lord Ronard Connington (Lord of Griffin's Roost and son of the late Raymund Connington). It is said she rules her Lord's land and holdings as if she was the husband and he the wife.

- Princess Cassandra (b309/Age 14) – Currently in her second year of fostering at Sunspear. She is considered a courteous and polite child with an unexpected curiosity that led her to befriend some of Qyburn's children she regularly encounters while exploring the tunnels of the Red Keep with her younger sister, Ellyn, before her fostering. A betrothal between her and Lewyn Martell, the firstborn son of Tystyane Martell, is expected to be announced soon.

- Princess Ellyn (b310/Age 13) – A sickly infant who was expected to die soon after her birth but every year she clung to life and every year she got stronger. She grew into a loud and fiercely determined little girl that refuses to be pushed around by her eldest brother resulting in a fractious relationship between the two that has come to physical violence in the past over his treatment of their younger brother resulting in them inhabiting the furthest corners of Maegor's Holdfast from each other. The death of her mother made her almost untameable and the only person she truly listens to now is her father. Gendry is entertaining proposals of marriage for her hand. She is her father's favourite as her personality reminds him of Arya Stark.

- Prince Garmon (b3015/Age 8) – A timid young boy whose birth resulted in his mother's death. He is constantly picked on by his older brother for his favouritism of the bow over close combat. He avoids his older brother and his friends at all costs, preferring to practice his archery with his close friend Robar Estermont (firstborn son of Alyn Estermont, heir to Greenstone) and his sister, Ellyn who is the only sibling he has a close bond with. His father is considering a fostering in Storm's End.

House Martell

Princess Myrcella (b287/Age 36) & Prince Trystane (b285/Age 38)

Prince of Dorne and wields Honour's Edge. With Myrcella's input and gentle guiding words, Trystane returned to Dorne and made it his goal to restore the reputation of his House in the Dornish's eyes. He regularly travels all over Dorne visiting his bannermen and inspecting their holdings and castles. Not as rash as his uncle but not as indecisive as his father. Kenna Arryn has sent many ravens over the years asking for the return of Honour's Edge and Lord Royce's ancient armour to House Royce. Trystane's singular response, unknown to Myrcella, was to send unidentifiable catspaws to both the Gates of the Moon and Casterly Rock. The attempts were not successful but there has yet to be a retaliation, despite the obviousness of who sent the assassins. Myrcella rarely leaves the Water Gardens, preferring to look over her children and enjoy the peace and quiet of the gardens, as well as the memories of shared adventures with her brother the smell of the plants, give her. The love that once blazed between them is dampening under the strain of Trystane's secret ongoing desire to kill Tyrion Lannister for the assassination of his father and Kenna for his assumption that she killed Oberyn on the day of Daenerys's defeat.

- Princess Myriah (b305/Age 18) – She inherited the Dornish look completely and her father's lingering resentment over the deaths of Doran and Oberyn. Her father indulged and encouraged her warrior spirit and she was trained in the art of knife-wielding and poisons like her distant cousin Tyene Sand. Like Trystane she blames Tyrion Lannister and Kenna Arryn respectfully for her grandfather and great uncles' death but unlike Trystane her hatred extends beyond the individual to their houses. She aims to combine her mother's claim to the Iron Throne with Orys's in marriage and take revenge on House Arryn and House Lannister while becoming Queen of the Seven Kingdoms in the process.

- Princess Lorenza (b307) – Died of a chill within a month of her birth.

- Prince Lewyn (b308/Age 15) – Like his younger brother he has fair skin and black hair but while Dorian has dark brown eyes, he has Lannister green and they twinkle constantly in the presence of Princess Cassandra Baratheon. He is a skilled lancer and avid poet, regularly composing sonnets for his soon to be betrothed. While considered proficient with a spear and a sword it is commented he lacks a fighter's heart and has a bard's soul.

- Princess Joanna (b311/Age 12) – The only child of Myrcella's to have inherited her beautiful golden locks. She would almost be considered a perfect mirror of her grandmother, Cersei Lannister if not for her warm dark brown eyes. Trystane is working for a fostering at Yronwood with the aim of a future betrothal to the heir of Yronwood.

- Prince Mors (b312) – Died within a year of his birth and was rumoured to have had six fingers on each hand.

- Prince Dorian (b315/Age 8) – Named after his grandfather (Doran) and he is aptly named. Everything the black-haired youth does is at a slow pace; he is never rushed and without fail can be found in the Water Gardens sleeping amongst the hedges tanning his fair skin and enjoying the warmth of the spring's sun instead of swinging a sword or practising his writing and reading. As the fourth surviving child he often goes unnoticed and that is the way he likes it.

- Prince Ryon (b319/Age 4) – The little Prince has never been seen outside the Water Gardens and is a sickly child constantly bed bound that suffers from bouts of dizziness regularly.

Millennia later … 2021AC

High Hall in the 'New' Eyrie, in the Vale, United Kingdom of Westeros

Qyburn sat quietly on the bench munching on a crustless ham sandwich. To outside observers with his crumbled slacks and knitted jumper, he looked like a kindly old academic type enjoying his packed lunch. His eyes followed the uniformed school children who were ignoring their teacher's calls and watched them run around the High Hall of the Eyrie, dashing to see the exhibit of the Weirwood throne and gaze up at the statues depicting the past rulers of the Vale adorning the high walls of the chamber.

Qyburn looked at the new Weirwood throne, it wasn't as impressive as the original but replicas never were. A nearby female tour guide was herding her group around the red ropes that surrounded the shut moon door.

"Here is where the ancient House of Arryn would throw their enemies down to their deaths. It was used frequently from the Eyrie's conception in 6,000BC onwards until the entire castle was burned down in 305AC by what most historians agree was a massive fire started by the insurgency forces of Queen Daenerys Targaryen in her bid to rule over all of Westeros. Where we are today is a rebuilt replica of the original Eyrie that was started by Queen Kenna Arryn at the beginning of the time period that is known as the 'Long Spring' and was finished by her grandson King Anbar Arryn, the Conciliator in 370AC."

The tour guide moved her party on to explore the outside area of the Eyrie and Qyburn methodically put his tupperware box back into his satchel and shadowed the moving group.

They broke out into the gentle sun and slightly windy Vale air to be confronted by a twenty-foot-high marble statue of a hooded female in battle robes. Her giant hand was missing two fingers as the point of a hidden blade poked beyond her smooth white palm.

"This is a statue made in honour of Queen Kenna Arryn, known in her younger days as the Bloody Falcon on account of her high kill count and vengeful ways. She is a divisive figure in history and one that sparks many debates in the historical community but thanks to a raid on a private antique collectors stash a few decades ago we can conclusively say the order to burn down the entirety of King's Landing came directly from her on her death bed in 335AC. A decision that effectively changed the course of history, resulting in the capital of the United Kingdom that we know today, Riverrun. These events all led to the monarchy we have nowadays but our current Queen doesn't hold nearly as much practical power as the Kings and Queens of the old Kingdoms did despite her undisputed rule over all of Westeros. After all, it is us the smallfolk that make the decisions now in parliament with our chaotic democracy," the tour guide ended on a joke.

Qyburn blinked at the mention of his collection being taken from him and the memory of the wildfire explosion echoed in his mind. It had been the right decision. Qyburn had witnessed many mad moments; many tyrants rise and fall but King Orys Baratheon had outdone them all when he murdered the entire branch of the Baratheons of Storm's End and combined the might of the Stormlands and the Crownlands under his rule. His army joint with that of Princess Myriah's Dorne and the Hightower's Reach would have caused another calamitous war with no side favoured. His only mistake had been gathering his forces in King's Landing, over an enormous cache of wildfire. An army of over a hundred thousand and a city of near half a million people consumed in a raging green inferno in mere seconds.

He nodded once; a needed sacrifice for peace that lasted hundreds of years. It had been a good deal if one was to look at the progress and development that had happened in those years. He had certainly benefited from being at the forefront of it all.

Qyburn's reminiscing was cut short when a bald military-looking man appeared next to him, "Sir, you are needed back at the labs. There has been an incident."

Qyburn flicked his eyes to the leader of his security team then back to the statue of his former Queen in an unhurried way. There were always incidents in the course of his work and after finding the cure for the latest plague or what had been known as COVID-19 he was bored with the field of viruses and his curiosity had taken him forward to the possibilities of gene manipulation and restoration.

"Your Grace," he bowed slightly before the statue and placed his flat cap on his head, "perhaps one day soon you will rise again and see the world you fought to create in all its terrible glory."

If his security leader was confused by his words or reverence for the long-dead Queen, the stern man never let it show as he escorted his boss out of the castle turned museum exhibit. As they went three dozen other plain-looking men left the room as well.

Author's Notes:

So, who is your favourite new character I just created in this family tree chapter? I really like Sarra Baratheon (but I guess you know she dies in a tragic way) and Torrhen Stark but Dorian Martell sounds pretty chill too.

The last scene was inspired by the ending of Merlin, the TV show, and the ending in Dracula Untold, the movie. I really wanted an immortal Qyburn chilling at the Eyrie. What did you think of it? Boss Qyburn about to do some genetic scientific magic stuff to bring Kenna back … somehow? xD

ALERT ALERT ALERT *siren noises*

Please make sure you've given me all your What If Scenarios and opinions (via poll, PM, review) on what my next novel length story should be as I'll be reviewing all my ideas and your input before revealing my decisions next chapter/update which will be on 2th of July or before. (I know this must be getting annoying but I don't want to miss anyone's input)

Reviews:

Nomad-75 – Sorry! Jon and Ygritte were always going to die in the Battle over King's Landing.

Guest (commented 25/06/2021) – Enjoy :)

10868letsgo – Thanks you :)

Antares Graceford – Lol, have you only just realised my ending bit is an altered version of the song from the Witcher? xD High praise, thank you very much :D The main part of the story is over, there will come the 'What If' chapters but you and me are both excited for the next novel length story and I will let everyone know what that will be soon.

Mister LaGuardia – Thanks! That is what I aimed for so really happy you thought that. On the Artys points, I understand, a case of one too many perhaps but I'll learn from it and take all the feedback I get from this story (which was my first ever novel) and use it to craft better stories going forward :)

Ser Dorito of Aisle 13 – I mean … I'm me so the there was always going to be death involved in my final chapter somehow lol. I'm not to sure on the historical development of gunpowder to be honest but as you see from the secret scene or after credit scene I skipped all the way to modern times.

WTFGOT – Thanks and I will be :)

IOUcomment – As an author this comment made me smile, a lot. I will be continuing have no fear and check out my profile to see if any of my current or upcoming projects take your fancy.

Kawaiibabiees – Yeah, Yohn, Jorge and Leyla were fine in the end and have pretty good lives as of 323AC.

Tohka123 – Glad you liked the ending; I always think sticking the ending in this fandom is the hardest thing to do or it was the thing that gave me the most anxiety/nervousness to post as the canon TV show ended so terribly. Thanks! More stories will be incoming and I'll let everyone know what the next 'big' one will be but I might concentrate on some of my smaller unfished projects for a bit.

PS: If anyone is interested in the playlists, I would make my stories to – idea creation and writing - put into youtube "Forgotten Odes – Violine Epic Music Mix" & "Playing Chess with your Best Friends Ghost by Candlelight" & "There is only power and those too weak to seek it; a tom riddle playlist" & "Soundtrack for a Supervillian – Dark and Sinister music" & "Game of Thrones: House Tyrell Theme" (way more badass than it should be by the way) & "Dark Country/Epic Rock/Epic Blues – All your sins". The last one is my favourite xD
