Chapter 607. "Bonded younger memories."

(The Loud House.)

Lincoln Loud, and his sister Luna Loud are both relaxing underneath the shade of the tree, while the rest of their family are busy with their own things. Luna sighs and looks to the sky. "This is nice, huh bro?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, just the two of us under the shade as the summer passes on, and relaxing and letting the time pass through. This is the life, and the rest of our siblings are just doing what they do."

Luna nods. "Lisa said she has this big practice with LJ and her team, and she said she brought something with her. I don't know what it is, but she worked on it in the garage with the help of our little robot car, Lulu, and Mark Warrens is with them too."

Lincoln seemed concerned about this. "Well, I have this bad feeling that it might not go so well, but chances Lynn will smarten up and stop what Lisa might end up doing. So, we should wait for them to come back, and then check on Lynn's next game tomorrow."

"Alrighty then bro" said Luna. She then looks to her little brother. "So, where the heck is Jordan at, and also I heard about your friend Rusty getting grounded till the end of July, what the heck is that one about."

Lincoln then replies. "Well, Jordan is with Hope and Gretchen at the mall, and Ryan is with them, and I think Stella and Simon are gonna catch up, as for Rusty… I am not so sure about that one, I think the other guys know."

(Ketcham Park.)

Lance, Artie, Trent, Clyde, Zach, Liam, Richie and Flat Tire are chilling at the park, lying on the grass and looking to the sky, then Clyde gets curious. "Guys, where the heck is Rusty?"

"Grounded" replied Flat Tire, Lance, Artie and Trent.

This surprises Liam, Clyde and Zach. "Wait what? Why?"

Lance, Artie and Trent tell them. "He played the game Resident Evil 8, his parents caught him doing something he was not supposed to, and got obsessed and then got grounded till the end of July.

This was something they did not see coming, and then Richie asks. "Dude, what the heck?"

Lance goes first to explain. "Alright, so the game is supposed to be about saving the main characters baby from some mutated folks from a village, because that's the name of the game, Resident Evil 8: Village, and Rusty didn't go on with the game and stuck with one boss, which others are talking about."

Trent. "We went on with the game and didn't stick with one boss, as young YouTubers, we would rather review how the gameplay is and how hard the bosses can be, and to be honest, I find Heisenberg to be the second toughest before Miranda is faced head on."

Artie. "Everyone else would rather go into puberty mode seeing the Tall Vampire Lady, and rather toy with her because of the games…. Physics mechanics, and we don't wanna stick to that, we kinda have less respect for the other YouTubers who just linger and start going all flirt on that lady, she is just not worth the whole story line, we just wanna save the infant."

Flat Tire seems less amused. "Rusty was acting all dumb and romantic-like on a computer game character, and got into serious trouble. He better learn his lesson or… Oh, hey Polly."

They all see Polly Pain, and she looks super miffed. "Rusty Spokes!" She then races off and she sends a message to Lynn that she has to do something before she goes to football practice.

The other boys are scared of what Polly is gonna do towards Rusty. "Glad we're not him and glad we don't play that game" replied Clyde, Liam, Zach and Richie.

(Back to the Loud House.)

Lincoln and Luna continue with the relaxing time together. Then Luna chuckles and she pulls her brother close to her, and this makes Lincoln smile. "Lunes, something up?"

Luna smirks. "Yeah, I kinda recall something from long ago, from back when we were very little. When you were a few months old and I would always check up on ya, to see if you were doing alright. I always made it my priority to check on you."

(Flash back.)

We now see a 4-year old Luna Loud, she goes into the bedroom she shares with Luan, and she sees that she's not there. 'Oh yeah, mommy and daddy said that Luan needs to go to the dentist and so Pop-pop is here.'

She then recalls Lynn Jr is in the living room, and with Lori and Leni and Pop-pop watching TV. So she goes over to check on her sleeping brother, but when she gets there, she sees him awake and looking towards her.

Lincoln then removes his pacifier and he giggles and reaches for her, and this makes Luna smile. She goes over and she picks up her infant brother and boops his nose and this makes him giggle and grab her hand and play with it.

Luna then hums a soothing tune and this makes Lincoln smile and reach for her, and so she carries him differently and he ends up hugging her and giggling from this affection, but then Luna kisses his cheek and she goes over to the rocking chair and she sits on it.

Luna then continues to hum the soothing tune, and then she cradles her baby brother. Lincoln looks to his big sister and babbles some words that make no sense and this makes Luna giggle. "Silly, Linky. You're not ready to speak properly yet, but you will one day."

Luna then kisses his forehead, and this makes Lincoln smile, and then he snuggles close to her. Luna then watches as he closes his eyes from her humming, and soon she too falls asleep, while holding onto her baby brother and not letting go.

(End Flashback.)

Lincoln chuckles. "Dang, well that's the sole reason why you're lullabies always make me sleepy."

Luna kisses his forehead. "You always recognized me and my voice, all because when you weren't born, I would always sing to my unborn little sibling, and I didn't care whether that kid was a boy or a girl, but I was so stoked when you came as a boy and made things a whole lot better for me."

"You didn't get over my singing and you were always my number one fan and the one person who would mean so much to ya. When mom couldn't make you sleep, she would ask me to sing to you, and it always worked, but then you got Bun-Bun and you found some way to sleep."

Lincoln recalls. "Right, Bun-Bun. The same rabbit that Leni and you brought to the hospital, you both used the money you earned, just for me to have him." Then he tries to recall something. "Truth be told, I forgot why I called him Bun-Bun."

Luna chuckles. "Would you be surprised out of your mind if I said that I did that one?"

(Flashback.)

Luna is in the backyard, and she has her baby brother on the picnic blanket she setup, and the infant is now almost one-year old and she hands him the stuffed rabbit. "Look Linky, this is your Bun-Bun."

Lincoln smiles and giggles at the way his toy rabbit is dancing, and he reaches for it, and so Luna hands the rabbit to him and he snuggles onto it, he then crawls towards Luna and hugs her.

Luna smiles and she hugs him back. "Aww, thank you so much, Linky. You're so cute, adorable and always happy when I'm around, but you should hang out with the others too, okay?"

Lincoln had no clue what she was saying, and then he pokes her nice and this makes Luna giggle and poke his nose and he giggles to this. "You're silly."

Then she sees a raccoon try to grab the stuffed rabbit. "Hey!" Luna then chases after the raccoon, Lincoln sees this and feels like crying, but then he sees how brave his big sister is to get back his toy, and this makes him brave too.

Luna then has a tug-of-war with this small raccoon who seems tougher and stronger. "Let go of the rabbit! Let go of Linky's bun-bun!"

Then the raccoon is hit in the head by a toy block, and Luna sees Lincoln and he throws his small toys at the raccoon, and then he grabs the toy bowling pin that Luan left behind and so he throws it and this makes a direct hit to the raccoon's head. The Raccoon is now dizzy, and this is Luna's chance.

Then Luna kicks the raccoon away, and she grabs Bun-Bun and goes towards Lincoln, she then hands him the stuffed rabbit. "Here you go brother." Lincoln smiles and hugs the plush rabbit, and then Luna picks him up. "You we brave, Linky." She kisses his cheek and this makes him giggle.

Luna then looks around. "Come on, Linky. Let's go back inside." she then heads back inside, with her baby brother.

(End Flashback.)

Lincoln is surprised by this, "Wow. Do the others know about this?"

Luna shakes her head in denial. "No they don't, and I haven't told them ever since. I guess I was the reason why you're trying to be brave strong and always helping others. Because of me."

Lincoln smiles and hugs her. "Dang right, and I am so glad for that one. You were the best role model for me. We were the same siblings who were trying to figure out what we can do, and always the ones we could talk to."

Luna smiles and she returns the embrace. "Yeah, and I recall something else that happened, the day you walked, and then said my name, and not call me your mom."

(Flashback.)

The living room, and Luna looks to her now almost 2-year old infant brother, and she hands him some toy blocks which he holds and then passes to her. She then makes a small tower of three blocks and this makes him giggle and he attempts the same, but it falls over and this makes him upset.

Luna then goes over and she hugs him. "Don't cry, Linky. Let me help you." Luna then places down the red block, then Lincoln grabs the blue block and adds it. Luna then adds a white block, and then Lincoln smiles seeing how this goes and so he grabs two more blocks.

Lincoln places down the purple and orange block on top of each other on the tower, and he smiles and giggles as the tower is still holding. Luna giggles from this. "Good job Linky." She then kisses his cheek and this makes him giggle.

Luna then has an idea. "Be right back, Linky." She goes over to the toy chest, but then Lincoln looks to her getting something and this makes him smile and giggle.

"Mama." He then grabs Bun-Bun and then he slowly gets up, and tries to maintain balance.

"Alrighty, I got some more blocks we can…" Luna is now surprised by what she sees, Lincoln is standing up. "L-Lincoln?"

Lincoln giggles and he begins to take a few steps forward. "Ma…Mama." He then slowly makes his way towards Luna, and he reaches for her.

Luna stays put, she then kneels down and she reaches her arms towards him, and has tears in her eyes. "Linky, come on. Come on, Linky, come to your big sister."

Lincoln giggles and he picks up some speed, and he makes it towards Luna, and hugs her, and the big sister hugs him back and she sheds some tears. "Linky, you walked. Oh wow, Linky. My baby brother, you walked."

Lincoln giggles, and then he says something else. "Woona." This makes Luna smile, though she felt honored he called him mama sometimes, but saying her name was good enough, and she kisses his cheek and continues to hug her brother.

She then gets up while carrying Lincoln. "We should tell the others." She boops his nose and this makes Lincoln giggle, and she carries Lincoln up the stairs to show the rest of the family.

(End Flashback.)

Luna smiles to that memory. "That one is something I will never, ever forget. What do you think, bro?" But she doesn't get a response. "Lincoln?"

Luna then notices that Lincoln has fallen asleep, and she smiles at this and so she changes his position and now he's laying onto her chest and snuggling close to her. Luna smiles and she runs her hand through his white hair, and she places a small kiss on his forehead.

Luna looks upon her 13-year old brother, and though he is growing up, she could still see the same little, cute and innocent baby brother she recalled from long ago, and this makes her smile and feel grateful at who he's become now.

"Have a nice nap, little Linky." Luna then tightens her hug on her sleeping brother and she too closes her eyes and enjoys the calm and peaceful summer sounds around her. Just brother and sister, enjoying this bonding moment.
