The sound of crashing steel, that was what he heard, this weird sensation, it was a dream, wasn't it? Here he was, staring down Ziden's blade was dripping red essence off of it, Shirou was facing him down with blades of his own, white and black. But where did these blades come from?
" heh, so you can trace weapons to make your own eh? Then come on, show me how good it is, mimic my weapon here, so you can atleast face me without those toothpicks breaking." That taunt, he felt it sting to his core but he did not know why.
But he fell for the plow, seeing the blade and copying its inner workings, or rather attempting to, once he tried to form the hilt, he felt it all go wrong, burning pains that raced through his body, like razors that dug into the flesh and he soon found out why exactly this was, red blades were now piercing out of his body racing up his arm from where the hilt was formed and he could barely scream before he felt it all go black.
A hot breath of air and a gasp and he sat up in the bed, the green glow in his chest seemed to die down as soon as he woke up, a nightmare that seemed far too real for its own good, sweats that poured down his body as he took the time to catch himself.
The male had no clue what prompted that dream or why he had it, but he needed to get some water before he even tries to think about what the hell that dream was.
Outside of the room, was Ziden who was awake and walking with Rider, who was now wearing a simple turtle neck and jeans, somewhat surprised that in this land, she had to look up to someone due to just towering over more of the humans here. But knowing who this was, didn't really surprise him.
" So, dumbass, what's the game plan." Almost in unison, Reimu and Rin called out to Ziden, and which promptly stared at each other for that weird sync up they did.
" The game plan today is take out the enemy servants as the overarching plan and I'm gonna go investigate that massive dream stalk and find out its deal and why its even here." Ziden said while cracking his fingers.
" Sounds like a solid idea to me, but I do have a question that I almost forgot about. Those people mentioned a Bison man, exactly what were they talking about?" Rin asked while watching Saber coming out from the kitchen with a full stack of pancakes and Shirou slowly slogging in from out of his room.
" Ah, good, then I won't have to repeat this story that much, basically, here is what happened."
An Explanation is occurring. ( For full Context, be sure to read Super Hero Taisen Omega)
Rin and Shirou simply sat down in shock of what they heard, the fact that they had no memory of this event, only meant one thing.
" When Bison changed this place into a singularity, he made sure to take out any and all enemies he may have had. After those battles, 50% of Humanity was lost while the other submitted to Bison. When it came down to the end, using the Infinity Gems and Chaos Control, we destroyed the singularity and reversed what he did." Ziden rubbed along his jaw. " But doing that after he wiped the world clean, mean I had to reboot the planet, which meant alot of weird things occurred, Those that originally died before our battles with Bison and the Resistance was formed, had no memory of the hell he brought, while those that survived, did."
" I heard from Yukari and Eiki that Therapists have had a major workload for a long time now due to the massive traumas they suffered during all of that madness. Even the Human Village survivors aren't all right after hat." Keine rubs along her temple, remembering the recovery process they had to go through after the move.
"..Wait, if...we don't remember..." Rin feels herself almost falling, was she really killed so easily by this invasion?
" Yep, best not to think about it, by technical standpoints, ya never died in the first place." Ziden explained while Medusa was trying to keep up with all the knowledge she was getting from this.
' So, there are humans here that can even overpower Servants, that is not something nice to be made aware of.'
" W-well, while that may be true, it is, morbid to think about. Me, dead, the Tohsaka line ended because of some...butt chinned ...why hasn't the Mage Association like, sent people to take car-"
" Because why would they care about the affairs of normals?" The familiar voice and the slit that formed in the air, Reimu and Ziden both scowled at this as a tear in space appeared before them, the servants instantly on guard while Artoria simply scowled at the sight of the eye filled void before them.
Each eye gazing around upon everything in the room and Shirou feeling terror race down his spine as a blonde woman slowly landed down out of it, watching it close behind her. " I thought I smelt hag and hag accessories, thought you'd be sleeping this time of year."
Ziden's remark was ignored as the blonde focused on Rin, Yukari's eyes focused on Rin and Shirou's since they were new to her entirely. : What do you mean, not care? Shouldn't they worry about-"
Rin interupts Shirou before sighing. " Of course they wouldn't care, mages that high up wouldn't care about what normal folk could do because they honestly view that they would be entire non threats, meaning that this whole, Bison thing slipped under their radar."
" Well, less slipped and more ended with them being slaughtered like cattle, the Mage association is aware of beings like Ziden and even the old Gensokyo but anything else? They aren't aware of. The fact that the demon realm is so close to this world, Heaven and Hell being absurdly easy to reach, the absurd amount of far safer wish granting items, so many things they don't even know about." Yukari explained while closing her fan.
" For an association, that's just dumb moves there, ya always keep an eye out on things, bet they don't even know about that mess in New York that happened a year or two ago with those aliens." Ziden said while slowly getting up and cracking his back.
" So, that means, that what the association's info is horribly dated at this point and knows nothing about any of these bizarre masters then." Shirou asked while crossing his arms.
" Bingo, all these guys are wild cards at this point, but since School is closed, you two should grab some books here that Keine wrote on our adventures. I'm gonna be heading out with Kirby to investigate." Ziden said while Rider of course stood up.
" I'll be coming with you Master." She was not used to calling him this but she felt the need to stretch her legs, she could feel mana pouring through her and she felt alot more limber than before. Altera herself came out of her room, now fully dressed in what she deemed her battle outfit that just looked like a wedding dress.
" As will I, I wish to see of this Item that came down from space." Altera simply stated while gazing over at Shirou who seemed to be determined about his upcoming answer.
" No, I'm coming too Ziden, I wanna learn what that tree is. No worries, Saber will be with me and I can defend myself." Shirou stood up and nodded at him while Artoria was still wary of Yukari. He even lifted up a wooden sword that Ziden could see green lines flowing through. Strengthening magic or rather Reinforcement magecraft.
" Fine by me, i guess I'll be responsible and actually learn things even the association doesn't know." Rin stated while sitting down as Sanae pulled out a large bag she brought with her.
" And when you get back, i decided you should know a good bit about your Rider predecessors, so I got a bunch of dvds for you to watch." Ziden grimaced at that, that was alot of DVD cases.
" Lovely, from what it looks like, the best way to reach the Stalk is through the park we had that conference in." Ziden made sure to go into the kitchen and grabbed a knife or two and walked out, with Shirou and Saber in tow. Their destination? The park.
Meanwhile in a Business Building...
"Goddammit!" The creak of wood from a fist slamming into a table rang through the office area, the various Ashura Kai members froze when they saw the anger of their boss. " No one goddamn told me a damn Rider would be involved in this war! The one damn enemy we'd struggle with!"
A slick haired blonde man was looking at his boss, black shades over his eye and a cross shaped scar over his lip, his face was roughened and matured, an older man that has seen fights, and a pure blue suit that showed the wave like tattoo along his torso. " Hah, ain't that some karma boss? The great heroes of Japan, along with those Sentai, Metal Heroes and those prissy Sailor girls magicking around and shit." This was one of the Lieutenents of this Yakuza sect, one of the heavy hitters.
" Shut it up, Gouki. Those Riders have spoiled my plans in the past, Ichigo, Nigo, Kuuga. W. Each and every time they fucked us over and now some, new runt is in this war? Screw this, no more playing nice." Isurus scratched that slick hair of his while looking over at the source of the crunching noise in the room, Beliel devouring the lower half of a screaming woman, the gore that permeated through the room was absurd, all sprayed on his face and chest.
" You humans sure argue alot, just waste him with whatever means you want and I'll finish him off my self. Don't get it. Heard that punk was weakened. And now he has Alice somewhere. Something either happened or that weakening stuff was bullshit."
" Lucky for us, we got alot of Reds left to play with. And I think its time we get to work selling em out to the public, i already got a buyer for one since some girl turned down his date attempts." A sunglasses wearing, tanned man was speaking now, among his teeth were countless gold replacements. Bald head with a bright yellow bulb on it. A pure dark blue suit that was opened to show his chest, which was toned. " So I'm gonna hand it to him downstairs, let him tear up the city, might kill a master that way."
" As long as it gets the job done, at this point, I couldn't give a damn, Mitsuhide." Isurus gazed down at his desk before thinking. " Send out the boys, they find anyone with Command seals, bum rush em and make sure their servant can't help em. Find the Kamen Rider? Waste him instantly-"
" Foolishness. The Demon Hunter is not a foe to take lightly. Do not waste useless bodies against him, you are blessed with the program. Use it, overwhelm him with demons of high power. Weaken him, and then I will feast on him." Belial's gaze was fiery. " Underestimating those servants is something I shall not do again, the next time I encounter one, i will let them see the plain difference between our existences."
" Whatever ya say big man, Yukimura is out scouting out that funky tree that sprouted last night. Knowing if this war has any wannabe heroes, he wanted to go there and scout out and kill em." Mitsuhide grinned for a moment while getting up. " Alrighty, time to sell some reds, sure this is fine boss? That Mage Association won't try anything?"
Isurus scoffed. " Those backwater loons couldn't even if they wanted to, so under informed and sticking to ancient systems. Those punks don't even know that we have The Gods under our command." Isurus held up his smartphone, the low humming glow of Divinity pouring off of it. " Let them try, we'll burn that Clock Tower, Their Atlas and even their Wandering whatever should they even try anything."
Elsewhere...
" Your Majesty, we are slowly approaching Earth, what are your plans of attack?" One of the Waddle Dees saluted to the King while Dedede rubbed his brow.
" First plan of attack eh? Well, this is the Blonde's and Spikey Chicken Leg's home right? Then we oughta go find em and then find Kirby." A tap of his hand against that stomach while sitting down on one of the resting chairs in the Halberd. A new Addition that was added in all the way back in the Subspace Emissary when the heroes all lived on this and the other ships.
" Indeed, that would be the best option for course, but it seems something interesting is happening on Earth once more." Meta Knight's glowing eyes focused on a view of the planet and Dedede felt his eyes widen hard from the sight he saw.
The Dreamstalk was somehow on Earth and it was piercing the skies hard enough that the object could be seen in space, a massive object that even one on Jupiter could see cleanly with a telescope.
" We're dropping the ship down in a park near the Dreamstalk sir! Apparently its sprouted in an Earth Rural town known as Fuyuki." The avian pilot of the ship gazed at Meta Knight through the Monitors in the room as Meta knight nodded.
" Then land there, we shall make our descent in a few moments, let us hope that it is only the dream stalk that has appeared in these lands." Meta Knight's eyes only glowed more like the fire they contained, ready to see what was happening.
In the Park of Fuyuki...
" But ya know hun, was this tree always in this park? I don't remember this tree being here, nor do I remember trees being this green, having star leaves or well, having eyes." A couple stood before the tree and examining it, while a small crowd was behind them, gazing at the green tree.
The tree's green bark was stunning to gaze upon and its colorful leaves made it even more so, but the eye catching thing about this sight was the view of eyes and mouth hole of the tree, which people just thought were coincidental holes formed into the bark. Until he blinked and people recoiled back.
" Wha-" The ground itself broke in almost an instant and the woman who was standing next to the man, felt something wet hit her face, thick, viscous blood from her partner being impaled clean through the chest with a root, watching his body instantly slack before countless more roots went to work making more human corpses, the woman only barely avoiding her fate from falling down but a root was coming right for her and several others.
" Fang Drive!" An explosive blast of wind blades hit down upon the roots and made sure to cleave through a majority of them like they were butter, only for them to grow back under the soil of the earth. Ziden landing down on the ground with Altera and Kirby next to him, Rider herself lands behind them, her hair flowing behind her
" Everyone, follow me!" Shirou made sure to grab the attention of the survivors who were shell shocked as they quickly ran to where Shirou was, storming and running past as he was looking at the tree that was currently alive.
" Is that Whispy Woods? No, its something similar but different!" Ziden was quick to pull out the Bestiary and let its scanning magic do its charm
" Flowery Woods, a mysterious Flora from the land of Dreamland. A supposed relative of Whispy Wood with a similar moveset to his, be wary of the winds and pollen he releases and any new tricks he might have, a Rank A threat. Hunt Well, heroes." The book spook properly as a wave of energy rolled from the tree over the area. Its battle time it seems.
Boss Battle ( Kirby Triple Deluxe)
Ziden was quick to use his blade to block the root that slammed into his blade and aimed to pierce him through, the male soon tossing a knife towards Kirby. " Kirby! Inhale!"
The knife spun right like a saw and Kirby ran right in place before inhaling that knife, much to the Servants and Shirou's surprise, as they watched it enter his mouth and be sucked right up.
A spin into the air, as a yellow hat, adorned with white wings on the side and black eyes spin around him and formed the hat for Kirby, all while a crescent blade flew around him at random before slamming into the hat, soon forming Cutter Kirby as he lands on the ground.
" What the-"
" Did he just change form?" Shirou and Artoria were confused, they saw him with a sword sure but an entire transformation that went by that fast, could this creature change abilities?
" Kirby has the ability to swallow and change forms depending on what he swallows, I made that Knife into a saw blade from how hard it spun, so he turned into Cutter Kirby, perfect for tree beating! Shirou! Stay back and Support Saber there the best ya can! You're a human kid, a hit from this thing might put ya down for good!"
Shirou heard what he was saying but he didn't listen, if it came down to it, he would protect Saber with the wooden sword he brought with him.
Roots tore up from the ground and soon stabbed down and shot up from the earth, causing the fighters to disperse from the attack, with Saber literally leaping off from root to root, soon swinging her wind covered blade right across its face, tearing through bark before she leapt away.
" Never in my life, would I thought I would be fighting a tree and it was actually capable of harm." Artoria's hand gripped onto her blade before seeing the tree inhaling and soon exhaling. She was expecting a bit of a heavy fan breeze, not an entire windstorm to be blasting out of that mouth.
The winds that howled like a gale and the flesh that got cut and torn by the wind caused the air to get that stinging taste of copper to flow through the air that got to everyone, Ziden using his blade to stab down into the ground to avoid being pushed back.
" Gwah!" Shirou, was not so lucky, watching the battle get farther away before Artoria dashed to grab him and hold her against his body, using her feet to anchor herself from the blowing winds. The wind actually undoing her hair and forcing it to blast back.
Kirby himself was less impressed, holding out that cutter of his and tossing it, causing it to literally to literally spin through the wind and cut deep into the bark, causing Flowery to stagger and stop his winds, which caused Rider to make her move.
Roots once more shoot up from the ground, tearing apart the earth and overflowing the area with those sharp tendrils. Rider used that chance to literally leap onto one and literally dash around the roots like lightning, her spikes now akin to razer sharp blades that cut through them like butter, Ziden was impressed by the servant, as his legs coated themselves in fire and before leaping to the tree.
" Burning Impact: Double Dance!" A double foot slam into the back, which caused Flowery to wince from the pain, followed by a swift roundhouse and then follow up flurry of rapid fire kicks right into the tree's face, causing it to shake and shudder from each blow. And Altera joined in on the fray
Her blade spinning with the lights of a rainbow and soon firing out rainbow blasts that actually fired clean through the tree, causing it to cough up sap onto its face, the tree responding in two ways.
One was massive balls of pollen that left its mouth that floated out to the heroes, and the other were the flowers, pink in color and saw like in design. They came off and joined the pollen in their attack and Ziden immediately did not like it, the flowers moved like saws and fired out, him even seeing Rider being nicked with one and immediately being cut. Sharp and strong enough to cut into a servant.
This caused her eyes to squint under her blindfold, even this odd looking tree could harm a servant, this was troublesome.
Those flower saws were alot sharper than expected, they could cut through even stone it seemed, and Altera made sure to block one that clashed right against her blade, watching two cut across her stomach, drawing blood as they flew off. Ziden and Kirby opted to dodge and kick back the Pollen orbs right back at Flowery Woods, what he did not expect, was the explosion of steam and pollen that blasted the tree
Artoria saw the flowers that cut against Altera's body, she was certain her armor could handle it, but she was not about to risk it, her hands gripping her blade and watching as the flowers flew in an Infinity style formation, swinging her blade down vertically once both saws came down onto her, sparks that clashed against her blade that was invisible as the ground slowly gave way under her as Shirou watched her from behind.
Her flowing golden hair like a wave of shimmering lights from the wind of the blades clash as she simply let out a powerful battle cry and those flowers were cleaved clean in half, the momentum of their deadly spin gone as the landed on the ground behind Shirou and she soon noticed the pollen balls that came towards her as she was stuck in the motion her force but she could easily repel the pollen.
If not for the fact that her Master, was her Master. "SABER!" She felt herself being pushed out of the way as she sees her master quite literally pushing her out of the way, and him gripping the wooden sword she trained him with. Her eyes widening as she sees him literally swinging down on the pollen ball and knocking it down into the Earth.
And then she watched the explosion that followed, steam and pollen that blasted upwards and Shirou felt that heat, normally, it was not steam but smoke, but this oddity turned it into pure steam and Shirou saw it clear for a moment, his hands that were now nothing more than bone and exposed muscle and the steaming mess that was his sword, the pain he felt was absurd but that was not all he felt.
" G-GAHHHHCHOOO!" Pain and allergies, one scream of pain that turned into a hellish sneeze as pollen literally drowned his senses, Ziden noticed it from the corner of his eyes, Shirou getting injured and then having an allergy flare up.
But that was not something to focus on right now, because now Ziden watched Flowery do something he thought was purely impossible, it lifted itself out of the soil and literally began to spin with his roots like he was a damn saw and ziden was shocked to see it actually flying, the wind that came off of it, told him, yeah, if this hit any of them, they would be in half, so he made the choice to clash right with it and hold it into place, letting sparks come off from the clash as Ziden watched Rider bending down and seeing magic energy pooling off of her feet. Seeing her shooting forward like a cannon and literally tearing a chunk off from Flowery, whose spinning face showed pure pain.
Altera herself leapt high into the air and let that Multicolored sword spin akin to a drill as she shot down like a missile, slamming down right into the center of the tree, wind and a golden light soon smashing into the side of it from Artoria's blade as the tree instantly lose rotational force and Kirby decided to finish it right off a power house finisher.
" Final Cutter!" A leaping slash into the air and then a powerful slam down and a powerful swing that created a massive explosion of blade energy that engulfed the tree, the group watching as the tree was literally blasted apart by the attack, Kirby's cutter causing it to explode clean into splinters, being barely a tree when it landed, only a portion of bark where its face was letting a large tear come down from it.
Then, the group watched the tree literally explode into stars, leaving nothing but bark and flowers behind, as Ziden slowly stood up and walked to where the tree was, the male seeing the fadings of darkness coming from it. " Hah, didn't think a Whispy relative would be that dangerous, guess that's because this world functions different." Ziden said to himself while soon getting ready to run over to Shirou, the male hearing a clapping noise coming from behind him.
" Congrats, that was damn cool! Well played Mr Hero!" Those claps came from from a sharply dressed man, a red suit with a floral print shirt under it, a Weasley face, and messy hair that showed he did not care about his appearance, and that heavy amount of gold teeth. Ziden barely had a chance to react as the man grabbed his hand and shook it. " You must be a damn good hearted person huh?"
Ziden was not that dumb and his servants weren't either, the hostile intent this man had, and the clear Yakuza look he had, this was an Ashura Kai member. " Yeah, all in a day's work to make sure people stay safe, no matter who they are."
Ziden gave a hand signal to Altera and Rider to not do anything, the male feeling the hand gripping his tighten up. " Hah, ain't that good, being a stupid goody two shoes, but ya know what they say, Good intentions are always paid in blood!" From his free hand, a large knife came free and made its way to Ziden's gut, causing Shirou who could barely see it to hold a gasp, before he heard the noise that came next.
CRACK!
Followed by a clanging of a knife hitting the ground, broken from trying to stab Ziden's gut. His shirt was cut but in the opening of the shirt, one could see the black, shiny sheen of haki coating his stomach as the Yakuza man was confused by what happened before he grinned.
" Got some tricks up your sleeve huh, well I do too! Come on ya bag of feathers! Come on and help me-" Ziden looked up to see a shadow flying over head before he clicked his teeth and Ziden immediately swing his free hand against Yukimura's head, watching it in almost slow motion, cave in, erupt, explode and splatter from the sheer force as the body left his hand and watched it soar along the ground.
" Well goddamn! Looks like my boss just got wasted like an animal, serves that asshole right!" The bird humanoid was now floating before the group, his colorful wings, golden helmet covered head gazing down at them, compared to the last foe, this was a step up indeed.
" You, do not care that your boss was just slaughtered?" As a servant, she had to ask, Artoria had to know what manner of being this was.
" Of course not! I was a tool to that hero hating clown! A demon he treated as an errand boy to steal his coffee, you killing him just freed me from a headache, but, ya did waste my summoner." A blast of wind exploded from the demon, as a grin formed under its helmet, three times the size of a human and so many more times powerful. " And as a demon that was under a contract, I'd have a bad rep if I don't atleast splatter half of ya, especially you, Slayer of Oscura."
" Oh great, can't you, I dunno, flock off, feather face, I got better things to do than deal with you." Ziden softly dusts his hands while grabbing his blade from off the ground and placing it on his shoulder. " Arty, take the kid and get out of here, get him to the house and to Keine, we have stuff that should heal that and some allergy meds." Artoria hesitated for a moment while glaring at the creature and then looking at her master, whose hands were bleeding down on the grass. She didn't hesitate to grab Shirou under her arm and ran.
" Oh? Trying to duck tail and run, not a damn chance!" Ziden could barely react to what came next, Artoria got far, but that demon almost instantly crossed the gap, his claws shining with the intent to kill, before the roar of engines were heard above them and he looked up. " What the shit!?"
" HAH!" And a flash of gold and the demon felt a blade cleaving right into his body, as a pair of bat wings flew by him and landed on the ground as Artoria saw a Kirby sized being land behind her. " Go, take the boy out of here, we shall handle this foe."
She stares for a moment at this masked combatant before nodding and heading off, no doubt she would learn who he is and what that giant ship was above them. The demon recovering and flying back deeper into the park.
" Ah, been a while since I saw my own blood, I dunno who you are freak, but know this, I am Garuda, may you know my name before I send you to the next world, assholes!" The demon's name was revealed and the group was ready to battle.
" I am Meta Knight, show me that you are more than just bluster, bird demon." And those wings took off to charge right at the Garuda.
Elsewhere...
Rin and Archer were staring down an interesting sight, a fancy dressed boy that she knew well from school, who was staggering towards her crazed. " You, you denied my advances so much...and then I see you around that idiot Emiya kid...hehe, denying me, for a filthy commonblood, but no worries, I will forgive you, I will have to discipline you for this though." A red pill was in his hand which he proceeded to dry swallow as Archer immediately felt his muscles tense. All while Rin kept a hand on the gems in her hand, watching the horrifying sight of a school boy slowly morphing into something else. All before a public store front.
Back at Chaldea...
" Mash, are you sure about this? This isn't a singularity, but a full blown Holy Grail War." Romani was looking at Mash who was standing before the teleporter that was on the Zeta Dreadnaught.
" I Am certain, besides, I can't let my senpai fight this war alone right? I need to be there with him, getting stronger myself for the next singularity." Mash answered, already fully transformed and ready to roll.
" Then very well, just be careful Mash, we don't know how bizarre this war may become." Messing with the control panel, the teleporter burned to life and soon Mash found herself being shot down to the earth, ready to aid in this war that was going to go off the rails soon.
Trivia:
1. Since Shirou didn't get to 'save' Artoria from Herc, the fates allowed him to 'save' her from some pollen. In case any of you wanted to see him get hurt for playing the hero.
2. Flock off Feather face is a reference to DMC and a unwritten rule that all Stylish/Cool/action hero must say it to a bird related enemy atleast once.
3. Garuda is a very high tier demon from SMT, Isurus was not joking when he said they had Gods on their side, you will get a more indepth talk about this guy later.
4. Subspace Emissary is a canon thing that happened in this story universe and will be referenced, alot.
Author's Notes: Alright, from this point on, you can expect things to get wilder, the Kirby elements, are here, the Masters are about to kick things off, the body count and gore? About to rise, hope you guys are ready, cuz next chapter is about to be a wild battle filled chapter. But you guys can see the crossovers here, Shin megami Tensei, Kirby, Touhou, Fate and a surprise one that I will say, none of you are gonna expect at all.
