(IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE END!)
#SweetRescue
"HAAAAA! How! Did! I! Not! Know about this beautiful place?!" An ecstatic Barbara exclaimed upon pressing her face against the glass displaying just some of Sweet Justice's tasty treats, having been the first thing she did when entering the cafe.
"Pretty sweet, isn't it?" Kara smirked, patting the redhead's shoulder as she admired the display as well.
"Uh-huh.." Babs dumbly nodded.
"Welcome to the greatest place on Earth." Jessica smiled, her and Karen coming up beside them.
As for the other newcomers, Izuku looked amazed upon setting foot in the cafe, the place looking lively when seeing how happy the sweets were making the already present customers. Ow.. Is that a toothache he feels? Already?!
Beside him was Diana, looking utterly lost as she had no idea what this place was, or what they serve their undoubtedly loyal customers.
Noticing their stupors, Zee came between them to usher them towards the others, not about to leave them hanging by the entrance. "Come on, you two~ Don't be shy. No one's gonna bite you." When snapping out of it, they showed no resistance.
"Wow. You can just smell the sugar in the air." Izuku commented.
"Mhm! That's part of what makes Sweet Justice so amazing." Zee giggled.
Approaching the counter, they were greeted by a blonde boy working said counter after he met Barbara's gaze from the other side of the display glass, copying her motion when she slowly stood straight in surprise.
"Hey, guys! How's it goin'? What's the haps? Can I get you anything? If so, I hope it's sweets as it's sort of our specialty around these parts for those who don't know!" The chipper boy said rapidly, serving a cake to a nearby customer.
"Hey, Barry!" Jessica, Karen, Zee and Kara greeted back, obviously familiar with this 'Barry' fella.
"So, what'll it be, friends? The usual, the usual, the usual, the usual, the usu-oh, wha... Huh, you three are new." Barry stared in confusion at Izuku, Babs and Diana, not recognizing them in the slightest as they all blinked at each other.
"That they are. Barry, we'd like you to meet Izuku Midoriya, Barbara Gordon, and Diana Prince." Jessica said as she gestured to each teen she named. "As of today, they'll be joining us over at Metropolis High. So, you'll be seeing a lot of them around from now on."
"Ooooh, yeah, I can dig that! I enjoy meeting cool new people!" In a flash, Barry's hyperness returned.
Getting a chuckle out of that, Jess then gestured over to the active blonde himself. Barry smiled as he knew what came next. "Guys, meet Barry Allen. A fellow student over at Metropolis High, and the greatest employee to ever bless Sweet Justice."
"Oh, stop that~ You're gonna make me blush!" Barry joked, waving off the compliment in feign shyness.
Seeing how nice a guy Barry is, Izuku relaxed as he gave the worker a wave. "Hi. It's nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Likewise! I hope your first day at Metropolis High was a good one." Barry replied as he and Izuku briefly shook hands.
"Heh, yeah.. I guess you could say it was." Izuku rubbed his head upon recalling today's wild events.
"Glad to hear! Well, as much as I'd like to continue chatting with you guys. I gotta keep working. So, I'm afraid I'll have to take your orders and get back to it. But, maybe we can talk more at school?"
"Sure, I'd like that, Barry." Izuku nodded, understanding Barry's reason for cutting the conversation short while also feeling glad that he made his first male friend in Metropolis. A pretty decent one at that!
"Awesome! I look forward to it! All right, I ask again, what'll it be, Friends?" Barry asked, a kind smile on his face as he awaited their order.
Unfortunately for the newcomers, that wasn't an easy question to answer considering how vast Sweet Justice's menu was. Like holy heck, there were variations upon variations of different treats on the damn thing! So it was impossible for them to decide on the spot. The literal eye candy they displayed behind the counter was no help as they all looked delish in their own way. A terrible case of so many choices, so little time..
Stifling a laugh at their uncertainty, Zee came to their rescue by ordering for them, having some good recommendations in mind. "I got this." Zee smirked, giving Izuku a reassuring shoulder touch before facing Barry. "Let's get Babs here the Candy Cake Triple Ripple Tower, topped with rainbow sprinkles of course. Diana will take the Death By Chocolate." At that order, Zee side glanced at the mace Diana raised by her face, rolling her eyes before gently pushing it away. "Figure of speech, sweetie. And as for the cutie standing beside me~" Zee teased as she brought an arm over Izuku's broad shoulders, earning herself a faint blush from the spider hero as he slightly tensed. "He'll have the Ultimate Fudge Sundae."
"Excellent choices! Be back in a jiffy!" Mentally writing their orders down, Barry bolted to the kitchen to start whipping them up. True to his words, he returned in less than a few seconds, arms full with their sweets as he handed them off to Kara who offered to take them. "Here you are! Enjoy, everyone!" He waved them off before helping the next customer.
"See you, Barry!" The super teens responded as they moved to occupy a vacant booth.
Upon sitting down, they began digging into their respective treats when handed to them. All except for Diana as she seemed wary of her abundant dessert, evident by the way she poked at it with her spoon.
"You going to have that anytime soon, Diana? It's best to dig in while it's fresh." Izuku chuckled as he was the first to notice Diana's predicament, taking a spoonful of his sundae before humming in delight when his taste buds exploded with flavor.
"It will not harm me, will it?" Diana asked cautiously.
"You don't see our sweets hurting any of us, do you?" Izuku grinned, taking another bite while gesturing to the other girls enjoying their meals in peace.
Seeing his point, Diana gathered the courage to raise a spoonful of her 'Death By Chocolate', bringing the spoon towards her mouth whilst poking out her tongue.
At that moment, it was the best decisions she ever made as when her tongue came into contact with the chocolate, she gasped upon experiencing its divine flavor. She dropped her spoon as her whole body had to really process this gift from the gods. And when that happened, well...
Without warning, she caused the team to nearly jump out of the booth when she began consuming her treat like a wild animal, savagely burying her face in her bowl with the intent of devouring every last bit of chocolate and cream. And in the end, licking the bowl clean.
"I... did not expect her to go at it that hard.." Izuku sweatdropped.
When done, Diana removed her face from her now empty bowl, panting as her crazy appetite remained. "This..! This taste! Never have I experienced anything quite like it! Dare I say that it surpasses even pizza! I must have more! Give me more of this magical concoction!"
...Dear Lord, they created a monster.
"Karen!" Diana called as she slammed her hands by Karen's milkshake, startling the shorty as she stared her down intensely. "Are you going to finish that?!" Diana pointed to the milkshake.
"W-Well, I.." Karen was too late as her treat was swiped from her reach before she could finish, the Amazon pouring the whole shake down her gullet in one go.
Afterwards, the hungry beast was yet to be satisfied. So when she started robbing the others of their sweets, they knew that protesting would be terrible for their health as they allowed her to eat as she pleased. All the while staring in shock.
'My sundae..' Izuku sobbed internally as he witnessed his ice cream get ruthlessly consumed.
When she was done, everyone gasped in alarm when Diana suddenly face planted in the bowl of her last meal, suffering a massive sugar crash from the looks of it.
"Is.. Is she... dead?" Kara asked nervously, none of them sure on how to feel about this development as it caught them by surprise.
"God, I hope not.." Zee sweated.
"D-Diana..? You okay?" Izuku took it upon himself to nudge the Amazon, really hoping that it wasn't what it looked like.
"FRIENDS!"
Once again, they had reason to freak when Diana came back to life and immediately shot to a stand, looking more alive than she'd ever been before.
"Agh! Damn it, Diana!" Kara cried in annoyance.
Ignoring the remark, Diana proceeded to speak her mind with enthusiasm. "These sweets as you call them are more delectable than ambrosia! Sweet Justice more beautiful than Elysium! That is why I declare that from this moment onward, we celebrate our every future victory within these glorious walls, here and thus!" Diana proclaimed as she slammed a sundae cup and bowl back on the table, leaving absolutely no room to argue as she had this intense look in her eyes. Not that anyone had any as they were actually all for it.
"Oh, yeah! Sweet Justice for the win, baby!" Babs cheered, throwing her arms in the air like she just didn't care.
"I have no idea what that means!" Diana exclaimed, glad that someone voiced their compliance.
"I swear, this girl.." Zee sighed, her, along with the others, rubbing their eyes at the Amazon's... energy.
"H-Hey! What's goin' on here?! We didn't accept the offer. So please, get outta here!"
Sadly, the 'excitement' was short-lived as a commotion by the entrance caught the super teens attention.
"Oh, this can't be good.." Izuku muttered in concern, the situation serious enough to set off his spider-sense. Curiosity getting the better of them, they all stood to get a better look.
"We already told you that we aren't selling our property!" One of the worried owner's of Sweet Justice shouted, holding her co-owner/husband close as she nervously eyed the intruders. "Barry, get our lawyer on the phone!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Barry acknowledged as he zoomed to the back room to make the call.
"Lawyer? Why would they need a lawyer right now?" Jessica questioned, bewildered.
"I don't know, but judging by those guys, they must have a valid reason." A serious Izuku said as he pointed passed the crowd and at the group of robots entering the shop. His friends gasped once seeing for themselves as the now panicked crowd made way for the machines.
"Attention, citizens. This business has been approved for its immediate destruction." A robotic voice announced.
"What?!"
"No!"
"They can't do that!"
"Someone call the police!"
Needless to say, the announcement unsettled the whole shop. However, things only got worse from there.
"By order of the city of Metropolis, you have 30 seconds to vacate the premises before structure removal commences."
At that, the crowd immediately dispersed, screaming in fear as they exited the building with haste.
"We can't let them destroy this place! What do we do?!" Kara asked.
"What can we do?! They're city robots! Fighting them will make us criminals." Zee cried, baffled as the rest of them.
While the girls considered their options, Izuku eyed the robots with extreme suspicion. 'No, this isn't right. Even if they are city robots, they shouldn't be doing this if they don't have the owners permission. That would cause a whole other tense situation for City Hall, I'm sure. One that they'd probably like to avoid. Something sinister is going on here. It has to be. That's why... I can't let this go on!' His mind made up, Izuku looked around before spotting a bathroom, wasting no time as he trekked away from his team while tightly grasping a strap of his bag. He disappeared inside the bathroom shortly after, his friends too distracted to notice his departure.
"You have 15 seconds to comply." The lead robot warned as they approached the frantic owners, the couple holding each other for dear life as they were unwilling to abandon their beloved business.
Truly understanding the gravity of the situation, the super girls bolted over to shield the owners.
"Stay back, you wretched contraptions!" Diana said as she got into a stance.
"Girls, please. Just get out of here! They aren't going to listen to us! Save yourselves!" The wife cried.
"But we can't just let this happen! They don't have your permission to tear Sweet Justice down! Ugh, none of this is making any sense!" Jessica stressed.
"You have 10 seconds to comply. Ten... Nine..." The bot counted down.
"Must we obey such a cruel law? Or fight it?" An uncertain Diana Inquired, looking to her friends for guidance. She was quick to confuse when finally noticing that Izuku was no longer with them. "Wait, where has Izuku gone?"
Now that it's pointed out, the others girls were also shocked about Izuku's sudden disappearance.
"Oh, crap! Tell me he didn't just bail on us!" Kara concluded in frustration.
"This isn't worth getting hurt over, girls! So please, just go!" The husband urged.
"Bestie..?" A hurt Babs uttered as she looked around hopelessly for Izuku, seeing no sign of him whatsoever. "H-He didn't.." She teared up, her heart breaking at the boy's 'betrayal'.
"We gotta go, guys! We're not ready to fight a threat like this!" Karen trembled.
"Two... One. Demolition of the property will now begin." Said the bot as it and its fellow machines then equipped themselves with a variety of sharp tools, intent on destroying everything in sight. They weren't alone as more bots busted in through the walls and started wrecking the cafe, swiftly outnumbering the young heroes more than they already were.
"Karen's right! There's too many of them!" Zee gasped, panic really starting to settle in once they were completely surrounded.
THWIP! THWIP! THWIP! THWIP!
Just as Diana was about to jump into action, she halted when the bots by the entrance suddenly struggled to move any closer.
"Hey, tin cans!"
When hearing the familiar voice, the girls spirits quickly lifted as they shot their sights over to behind the bots. And color them relieved upon seeing Spider-Man coming to their rescue, having attached sturdy web lines to the bots backs.
"Spider-Man!" The girls cheered.
"How 'bout we take this party outside, huh? Let these fine folks you oh so robotically terrorized keep your friends company!" Spider-Man said humorously when getting the machines attention, grasping tightly onto his webs before roughly swinging them out onto the streets through the shop's window. The loud shattering of glass echoed. 'I really hope the owners don't hate me after that..' Izuku cringed at the now broken window.
Before going to hold off anymore reinforcements, Spider-Man glanced over his shoulder at the girls and nodded before dashing out the building, trusting them to deal with the bots still inside.
'I should've known he wouldn't let us down!" Babs happily thought as she watched her bestie go do his thing, wiping a tear as she felt silly for having doubted him in the first place.
Seeing as things have evened out a bit, Diana gathered her bearings and called upon her sisters to fight alongside her! Izuku inspired her as even if it meant breaking the law, they had to do the right thing by saving Sweet Justice and its owners from this madness. Even she knew that this was wrong. Plus, she wasn't going to let Izuku down after the faith he just put in them.
Little did she know how bad things would backfire..
With Spider-Man, he was greeted to the sight of more bots arriving on the scene when exiting Sweet Justice, glancing to the side to see the piled machines he tossed struggling to get back on their 'feet'. That had him grinning under his mask a bit.
"You are interfering with official city business, citizen. It is advised that you stand down and make your departure before you are removed by force." The next leading bot threatened as it and its cronies pulled out their 'weapons', revving their buzz saws as they steadily approached.
Unfazed, Izuku scoffed as he narrowed his eyes at the bots. His fists clenched as he moved his legs to get into a combat stance. "Oh, yeah?" He smirked.
For a moment, the bots halted when witnessing the spider symbol on Izuku's chest suddenly... spark? And after a few seconds, they even backed up when his whole upper body flared with bright green electricity, the boy channeling this surprise power all throughout his torso and ultimately, down to his fists.
Then with a stern tone, Spider-Man spoke again.
"I'd like to see you bucket of bolts try."
A/N: It's about damn time we get into some real action, huh? XD
Now, for the sake of not dragging anything on, I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I've decided to do a few more crossover stories between Izuku specifically and another series. Much like this story! However, I'll be letting YOU guys decide which world he'll be getting sucked into this time. Not literally as I'll be starting it off with Izuku having already existed in those worlds. I feel as if there isn't enough fanfic authors that write harem stories between Izuku and girls from other series. And that hurts me as Deku is one of my favorite characters ever, as I relate to the awkward fella in so many ways. I even love that Horikoshi got inspiration from Spider-Man when creating him, as he's my number one hero of all time. Deku being second, of course. XD Sorry, buddy.
Anyway, as of June 25, 2021. There will be three polls in total that will determine my next crossovers. And since I can only put out one poll at a time, the other two will go online whenever I pump out the next 2 chapters. As for why three? Well, you'll see. ;) I really can't hold in all these fun ideas I have floating around in my head, so that's also a big reason why I'm doing this. Fuck it, I thought. XD All right, I'm done. See ya in the first poll!
Don't worry, the harem is still the same! See chapter 12 (#BlastOfATime) for the list if you need a reminder.
Follow, Favorite and Review if you'd be so kind! It is always greatly appreciated to know what you guys think of the story so far!
Until next chapter, deuces!
