Amber's fights and talks with Five left her in such a state. They had made up somewhat but they were far from the unstoppable and loving pair they had been all their lives. She stood up to Five and clearly expressed how horrible the idea of going to the consulate would be, but yet she felt alone. Amber shouldn't have felt that way; she had Joanna and Diego but her and Five shared such a connection that being at odds hurt her more than she should.

Diego of course would take Five's side since he wanted 'revenge' for his upbringing and to stop him in whatever his role in JFK's assassination, Amber thought. There was just the matter of if she would go to the consulate or not. She sighed as she snapped her fingers, raising her thumb at the end of each snap to summon a tiny ember. She could hear vague callings from Klaus calling her…again but he mentioned something that caught her attention. Amber knew what she had to do.

Allison went to the address a man in prison told her about 'his prophet' since he had hand tattoos her brother Klaus had. She hoped to find him since she was missing all of her family. She wondered if perhaps everyone was in Texas and how their lives ended up. Allison went her way back of the mansion she found and saw a familiar figure in the pool on a float. Happiness filled up in her since it was her brother.

"Klaus?" she called out.

Klaus stirred and looked up to see Allison. At first he thought he was seeing things since he had dozed off. He yawned and his eyes widened to see that it was Allison.

"Allison?!"

They went to each other and hugged each other with a warm embrace. It had been 2 years for her since seeing Klaus and she missed him.

"I'm so glad to have found you." Allison told him.

"As am I; I thought I was the only one…well I have a hunch I might not have been but she won't answer my calls." Klaus went on.

Allison seemed a bit lost and questioned,

"Vanya or Amber?"

Klaus chuckled but it was full of melancholy. He missed Amber so much as she was the one person that cared and he kind of fucked things between them.

"Amber…kind of realized that my spiritual gathering would have pissed her off…."

"Since you started a cult." Allison finished as she sat on the edge of the pool.

"Cult is a strong word. I like to think of it as an alternative spiritual gathering that brings people from all lives together." Klaus defended.

Allison shook her head and doubled down in saying,

"No, I do believe you started a cult."

Klaus hung his back and let out a defeated groan. He soon chuckled since he was just glad Allison found him and he had a sense of family again.

"So what have you been up to?" Klaus asked with a smile.

"Well I live here in Dallas. I've been a part of the civil rights movement….with my husband."

Klaus' eyes widened and he smiled softly at her.

"Congrats. Sounds like a very nice life you're leading. Care to tell me the lucky man's name." he asked.

"His name is Raymond Chestnut. He's truly a great guy and he's making some big strides in this movement. Very smart, driven, and compassionate to the cause."

Klaus recalled his brief stint in jail and recalled a man that seemed to match Allison's husband.

"Wow, I think I've already met him."

Allison seemed a bit shocked and asked,

"How?"

"We spent some time in prison together. Really nice guy, educated, charming…I can see why you married him." Klaus mentioned.

Allison realized she might have just missed Klaus when she visited Ray in prison and she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Small world."

"Truly is. I will work on getting him out, do believe me." Klaus expressed.

Allison smiled.

"That will mean a lot but I don't want to risk you being put in jail…again." Allison stressed.

"Oh I have my ways." Klaus grinned.

Both of them chuckled and it was then Klaus' eyes widened. Maybe just maybe now Amber will come to him since Allison was here too. He sprung out of the pool and retrieved his lighter from the patio table. He flicked it to show a flame and he spoke,

"Amber hey! Look I know you might be still hell of pissed, but please I do miss you."

Allison looked at her brother with a curious eyebrow and asked,

"Are you high again Klaus?"

He looked at her and giggled.

"No I'm sober actually, been for three years actually. But not the point. I realized if Amber can travel through fire, perhaps she can also hear people as well. Been trying for years but no dice; but I'm still thinking it's because of my cult and less because I'm crazy."

Allison smirked and said,

"Ah ha! You admit you started a cult and Amber grew up in one. Of course, she would be pissed at you."

Klaus groaned a bit.

"I know I know, but my cult is far from Amber's hellish circus cult. If I learned anything about Amber though from our short time; she does value family."

Allison did recall Amber's powers of blue flames and that did scare her slightly. However, they both cared for Vanya and they didn't want to kill her like the others did.

"Amber, please don't be a stubborn old woman. I'm sorry, okay, really sorry. However I'm not alone; Allison's here. Here listen."

Klaus motioned Allison to the lit flame and she felt silly about what she was going to do.

"Hey Amber…. It's me, Allison. Um…if you are here…. Please stop by so we can meet again, we do miss you…. Klaus should I give the address?"

"Knowing her, she won't need it." Klaus chuckled.

Allison was at a loss until the flame on Klaus' lighter started to go wild. Allison backed away from Klaus as the fire kept going.

"What the fuck Klaus?!" Allison exclaimed.

"Oh it's not me Allison." Klaus said with a slight happy grin.

The flame grew high into the sky, swirling up like a vortex and it swelled up into a massive inferno. Moments later, Amber emerged from the flames and landed elegantly on her feet. She stroked her dress for any wrinkles and soot. Allison's eyes widened and was shocked that Amber's powers were that strong and versatile. She looked to appear older but Allison was just a little relieved that Amber was alive.

"Amber." Allison called.

Amber looked in her direction and gave a slight smile. She was happy Allison had her voice back since the last time Amber worried if it would ever return. They weren't close but she still missed Allison and was glad she was okay in the segregated 60s.

"I'm glad you're alive Allison. Out of all times we could have landed...well could be a lot worse if I think of other time periods. You look great." she commented.

"Same to you...have you been here long?" Allison asked.

Amber shook her head.

"Well kind of, since February of this year. Just managed to recall a bit of temporal equations to age Five and myself. Thank god too, Five was getting sick of his 13 year old body. We still look like teenagers but older teenagers at least."

Allison was at a loss on how Amber did this but Klaus only chuckled.

"Least you look older enough to have sex with your husband. I can't imagine how frustrated you two must be in that department." Klaus jokes.

Amber managed to laugh softly and went to Klaus to hug him. He did have a Jesus/cult leader look to him but he was still Klaus. She wasn't going to lie, it was hard to stay angry at him even though he had made the cult. Amber worried if he had slipped back into drugs but based on his demeanor and eyes, he seemed clean. She breathed a sigh of relief as she pulled away and looked over Klaus.

"I missed you Klaus."

This seemed to shock him and he asked,

"Do tell since you haven't picked up my calls. Has your new life been so busy?"

Amber sighed and knee kicked him in the groin. Klaus' eyes widened and he let out a painful groin.

"Jesus Amber! I know I made a cult but you don't have to hurt me. I was lonely and needed a way to make it in the sixties." Klaus explained.

Amber rolled her eyes since there was a matter she needed to discuss with him.

"I want a list Klaus." she asked him.

Allison seemed a bit surprised and asked,

"You want a list with all of his cult members? Really, you can't really know what each of them would have done Amber."

Amber chuckled lowly and clarified,

"Song list, now."

This made Allison confused but Klaus sighed.

"I swear Amber, I didn't take anything from Roxette or Cher since I know you would kill me if I did." Klaus explained.

"I still want to know what songs will never be. We already know Destiny's Child won't be a name that's used so what else."

"You're really serious Amber?" Allison asked with a playful laugh.

Amber rolled her eyes.

"From someone who's been in an apocalypse for most of her life, music was something I missed greatly. I want to see if any of my favorites or guilty pleasures will no longer be around thanks to Klaus using them as 'words of wisdom'. So start recounting."

Ben, who had just been observing the whole reunion laughed and told Klaus,

"You better pray you didn't take a song she loves Klaus."

"Shut it Ben and help me think." Klaus whispered.

Ben sighed since he did keep a list of songs and lyrics Klaus used for this very moment. He had warned Klaus about song lyrics, both for history's sake and for Amber's fiery temper. Nevertheless as Ben read of the songs Klaus has used, Klaus in term gave them to Amber. It somewhat horrified Amber that Klaus had used a lot of song lyrics in his three years as a cult leader. Thankfully some of her all time favorites remained untouched and hopefully will be released back in their time. Some of these songs included I Think I'm Alone Now, It's My Life by No Doubt, Man! I Feel Like a Woman, Livin' On a Prayer, New Attitude, and Shut Up and Dance. Any songs by Queen were also not touched as well, but I think it was because Amber mentioned in passing that she loves the band. Once Klaus was done, Amber sighed.

"You could have been a sage of wisdom without taking the songs Klaus." Amber expressed.

Klaus frowned for a bit and he rubbed the back of his head. Amber's face softened and gave him another hug. He hugged back and couldn't help but chuckle.

"I did miss you Klaus, make no mistake about that. Things have been kind of rough for me lately." Amber mentioned.

Klaus pulled away and noticed there was a sullen demeanor to her. It didn't take him long to ask,

"What is Five doing that is making you so down in the dumps?"

Amber sighed.

"Oh him possibly wanting to mess up timelines because of his daddy issues. C'est ridicule that he should know the impact to the timeline just to see him at this current time."

"But he probably wants to get you home right, possibly all of us home right?" Allison asked.

Amber didn't want to ruin the moment like Five did with their reunion by mentioning the end of the world coming again. She wanted one reunion to be peaceful and plus, she did like the warm feeling she had seeing Allison and Klaus again.

"I mean yes and I get this isn't our time, but I just want peace. Mais non, maintenant je dois m'inquiéter pour lui."

"You're always going to worry about him Amber, that's what being in a marriage is." Allison expressed.

Amber then noticed a wedding ring on Allison's finger. How someone could mourn and move on seemingly quickly seemed a bit strange to Amber.

"Didn't you recently get divorced in 2019 Allison and you jumped into another marriage in your short time in the 60s. Probably not the best decision for either of you." Amber expressed.

Allison crossed her arms defensively and glared at her. She had no right to criticize her choices and she truly loved Ray. Amber knew nothing about their love and romance so she should stay out of it.

"My life is my business Amber. You can't help who you fall in love with or when. It just happened that when I landed, I met Ray and I was drawn to him. He's everything I hoped for in a man again and you can't be one to judge me."

Amber sighed.

"I'm just saying when I fell in love it was a courtship, a long meaningful courtship."

"And yet how's that going for you? You and my brother are at odds clearly. Perhaps you have been for all your years and now it's just showing that you have problems."

"Least I've been married once and I'm not going to have problems with a lover and brother in Luther when you're married again. That's going to crush him." Amber mentions.

Allison's face fell slightly. Luther was in Dallas...but she needed to move on since who knew at the time they would all land here.

"Hey let's all put away the claws and enjoy ourselves. After all, I missed my sisters so much and this should be a celebration." Klaus speaks calmly.

Allison and Amber nodded at each other and sat back at the pool's edge while Klaus went back on his float. Amber discussed her problems with Five to Klaus and Allison. She had also mentioned how all this seemed to start since Amber landed before him and lived a life without him.

"Do you regret 'marrying' Five?" Allison asked.

"Of course not! I love him to death and I would never want to lose him. It's just...who am I punishing really? I want to be my own person and not just go with his ideas. I'm not an extension of him but his wife. Yet he seems to forget I'm not completely submissive to him yet he thinks that for some reason."

"Well something had to happen for him to be so controlling now. Has something happened?" Klaus asked.

Amber sighed since something had. Five had seen her die in another timeline and Amber can't imagine the pain she would feel if the roles were reversed. She got a bit choked up and Allison noticed, slightly putting an arm around her.

"Well let me ask you, why is Five going to this little shindig?" Klaus asked.

"Mostly to spy on Reggie and to speak with him." Amber answered.

"And you if you do want to go?" Allison asked.

Amber scoffed playfully.

"To enjoy the food, dance with my husband hopefully, and listen to hopefully not ear bleeding music."

Klaus clapped his hands and chuckled.

"See, your own choice to go and your plans don't mimic Five's. You know what you want and you should stand your ground in not wanting to be Five's bitch...well you know what I mean in regards to spying."

Amber cackled slightly and shook her head.

"I don't want to signal myself that going to this consulate means I will go along with plans." Amber expressed.

"Then tell him when you're there. If you're the loving married couple that's been married for 30 years, he's going to understand. You're in some way my marriage goals." Allison mentions.

Amber smiled softly at that.

"Thanks but fighting is a bitch. Just want us to be somewhat how we were with a few changes. We're both stubborn." Amber mentions.

Klaus smiles and playfully splashes her. The cold startles Amber and shoots a playful glare.

"You need to lighten up and live a little Amber. Trust yourself since you are of sound mind for an old woman." Klaus grins.

Amber chuckles and kicks water back at him.

"I might be old, but I am young at heart and my heart is feisty."

"Oh I bet you are Amber and that heart is going to help you and your husband. Never doubt it." Klaus expresses.

Klaus splashes more water at her but Amber goes behind Allison to use her as a shield. Allison squeals a bit from the cold and she couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh okay I see how this is." Allison laughs.

She splashes Klaus and Amber playfully jumps into the water with her clothes on. She splashes water a Allison and taunts,

"You're already soaking wet, make it a proper fight young lady." Amber tells her.

Allison grins and goes into the water too. She locked eyes with Amber and they both had the same idea. They went to Klaus' float and playfully tipped him off it, causing Klaus to curse.

"Oh you're going to fucking get it now ladies!" Klaus laughed.

They spent their time horse playing in the pool like a bunch of children, but this was exactly what Amber needed. She had missed out on a lot in her life, especially moments as simple as these. Amber longed for a sense of family and with Five, she had that. His siblings were now also hers and he kind of understood why Five would go to such lengths despite risks. She didn't fully agree but she understood. Amber would go to the consulate on her terms and will only go along with Five's plans if she feared for his own life.

"I should stop by more...when the cult's not here clearly Klaus." Amber mentions.

"Or if you'd like, you can give me where you're staying so I can escape there when need be. Even I need a break from my cult." Klaus mentions.

Amber gives him and Allison the place she's staying at and her workplace, the latter surprised Allison.

"Ray and I pass that bookstore a lot. I never thought you were working there. It's a rare one where we're allowed to go." Allison mentions.

Amber smiles and nods.

"Joanna really doesn't give a shit about the color of one's skin; just if you're a decent human being and if your money is good."

"Good to know...hey how does she feel about my cult?" Klaus asks.

"Honestly, she hates cults as much as I do. I did express that you were a good person so that does soften some blows." Amber added.

"Right, got it. Scale of one to ten, how much would you hate me if my cult sometimes asks about my disciple who I lovingly call 'The Girl on Fire?'?" Klaus asks.

Amber groaned.

"Why the fuck did you lump me into your cult! One cult involvement is bad enough!" Amber yelled.

"I missed you...plus it's not only you. I did mention the rest of my family in some ways like disciples to cope with missing everyone."

"Yes I know, but still...God dammit Klaus!" Amber yelled.

Allison could see Amber flaring up a bit and she decided to express,

"Nothing can be done about it. Besides, he wasn't exploiting you like your parents did. He probably just wanted to inform your cult on how strong and warm you are."

"Yes exactly Amber. You were the only person back in 2019 that actually cared about me and my hardships. I just wanted to honor you." Klaus mentions.

Amber calmed down and took deep breaths. Nothing she could do about that, but she did feel an odd sense of honor of being tied to Klaus; even in a cult.

"Well thank you. We should all meet up sometime since we do have an overdone birthday to celebrate. I do have gifts for everyone." Amber sweetly spoke.

Klaus placed a hand on his heart and awed at that notion.

"Even when we weren't speaking you thought of me, how precious." Klaus said with a smile.

"Yes we need to find everyone since if everyone is in Dallas, no sense in being apart again." Allison added.

Amber nodded.

"I will figure out details with Five later. Right now, I need to return home to Joanna and plan a shopping trip tomorrow. I'm going to need a new dress for the consulate."

Amber returned home and waited for Joanna to come home. She told Joanna she was going to the consulate, which made her smile.

"Lovely since you should have a fun time with your husband; perhaps reignite some sparks between you two?"

Amber smiled and nodded.

"I'll need a new dress."

"Not a problem, we will get one for you. Say, when you and Five are done at the consulate; I need a word with you two."

Amber raised an eyebrow since Joanna sounded serious. Joanna rarely if at all sounded stern but Amber asked,

"Did we do something wrong?"

"Oh no not at all...I just want to share more of my life with you both. There's something I've been keeping to myself since you and Five were at odds. Now that you might be reconnecting, I need you both to be on stable pages for my talk."

Amber felt something was very off about this, but Joanna was her friend. Joanna had no reason to ever hurt or lie to her so she nodded.

"Excellent. Now are we thinking blue, black, red or green for your dress?"

Amber smirked softly and said,

"Green was always a color that Five and I love on my body. I want us to end any arguments we have that night."

Joanna nodded and gave Amber a hug. She stroked Amber's long red hair and sighed. Amber was going to hate her after that night Joanna thought, but she could not hold back what she's withheld. If she cared about Amber like a daughter and friend, she needed to know.
