"Your hair looks beautiful," Bruce said when he saw that Adriana's hair was back to it's natural deep blonde color.

"Thanks," she said. "Alfred's reheating your dinner," Adriana told Bruce.

"Great," he said as he held Arsenio who let out a big yawn.

"I missed you today," he said and kissed his son on the cheek.

"He missed you too," Adriana said. "Kept wanting me to call you but I told him you had meetings all day."

"I'm sorry little guy," Bruce apologized to Arsenio. "He's very tired."

"Yeah," Adriana said and rubbed Arsenio's back.

"Busy day Arsenio?" Bruce asked and laughed as Arsenio's head fell against his chest.

"See Dak, see paynne," Arsenio said.

"A plane?" Bruce asked.

"Dak!" Arsenio said.

Adriana looked around nervously.

"What's a dak?" Bruce asked.

"Dak!" Arsenio sat up, trying to explain to Bruce. "Fann Dak!"

"Your friend?" Bruce asked Arsenio nodded. "What does he mean?"

Adriana shrugged as Bruce looked at her for explanation. "I don't know."

"Mommy! Dak!" Arsenio said to Adriana, looking at her expecting her to get it.

"I ..uh...sorry baby," Adriana shrugged again. "I guess this is one of those times I have no idea what you're saying."

"Dinner is served, Master Bruce," Alfred said as he came in to the living room and Adriana let out a sigh of relief and took Arsenio from Bruce.

"Bath time for you, mister," Adriana said to the baby.

"Thank you Alfred," Bruce said.

"You've been looking a the ceiling for a while," Adriana said to Bruce.

He blinked and looked over at her, laying beside him in bed.

"So have you," he asked.

"I'm thinking about the city," she said. "And how I promised you I would take a few days off. It's so difficult."

"I know," he said. "It's still difficult for me."

"Yeah..." she said. "So what's on your mind."

"You know Wyatt's surgery was successful earlier today," he told her. "Everything went well."

"Yes," she smiled. "I heard. I'm so happy."

"It's good news," he said.

"Is that what you were thinking about?" she asked.

Bruce sighed. "Yes," he said. "I'm glad you're happy."

"Thank you," she whispered.

"He's dead," the Joker told Adriana the following day when she told him about Damien's revelation that he believed a man named Gambol was responsible for Wyatt being stabbed.

"I know," Adriana said. "But Damien thinks he's the one."

"Did he offer any explanation?" the Joker asked her.

"Not really," she said.

"I've asked Lucius to push back my flight," the Joker said.

"Oh," Adriana said, thinking he was changing the subject.

"I told him about this," he said.

"And...what? He thinks it's a good idea for you to stay and help figure this nonsense out?" she asked.

"What a disagreeable tone," he remarked about her voice.

"I'm not worried about it and neither should you, or Lucius," she said.

"What else did Damien tell you?" the Joker asked, seeming to ignore her statement.

"Nothing important," she said.

"What else?" he repeated.

Adriana rolled her eyes. "He wants me back," she said. "He says he can protect me. But he doesn't know what me or my husband are capable of."

"Gambol is dead," the Joker said again.

"Is there any possibility that he's not?" Adriana asked. "Or maybe someone who was close to him is doing this?"

"No," the Joker said. "Anyone close to Gambol would have had ample opportunity to come for me when I was in the streets. Before I was arrested, after I was arrested."

"So...what are you thinking?" she asked.

"Not much to think when we have nothing to go on but a dirty cop's discoveries," the Joker told her. "You need to be safe."

"I am safe," she said.

"I mean it," he told her. "I'll be investigating this."

"What?" Adriana asked. "How?"

"I'm moving to a place Lucius rented," the Joker said. "Just for the last few days I'm here. I'll have a vehicle and I'll be able to move through the city to figure this out and deal with whoever this is-"

"Hold up!" Adriana practically screeched. "Lucius told me nothing about this!"

"He'll be calling you soon," the Joker said. "He also thinks you should see Dr. Kapoor about your fainting spells. I'm sure he will talk to you about that as well."

"Spell! One spell!" she said. "I just needed to take a break, Bruce was right. I'm fine and you...You shouldn't be out in the city. it's dangerous! Imagine if you get pulled over or if the police run your prints or some facial recognition in a security camera picks something up-"

"He's only giving me 48 hours," the Joker said. "I've assured him I will be careful."

"I don't like this at all," she said. "This is the whole reason why you have to move to another country! To avoid the risk of you being caught or recognized. This is too dangerous! All for some stupid clown that has it in for you? With no proof that anything happened between us and no proof that you're even alive! This is-"

"You can stop talking now," the Joker said. "Decision has been made."

"And you're not worried at all?" she asked.

"To be fair," the Joker said and opened the suitcase Adriana had noticed on his bed. "Lucius gave me a adhesive prosthetic for my face to fool any facial recognition and some adhesive prints. Obviously I couldn't live the rest of my life with sticky prosthetics on my face and hands but I can manage for two days."

"So he had time to fashion prosthetics," Adriana huffed. "You to have been working on this for a while and you kept it from me-"

"Yes," the Joker said shamelessly. "Wanted to save your rant until the last possible minute rather than hearing it for days. I'm leaving in an hour."

Adriana went quiet.

"Done ranting?" he asked.

She nodded.

"And...what if you find something?" she asked. "What will you do?"

He shut his suitcase and didn't answer.

"Answer me please," she said.

"What would you like me to do?" he asked.

"I don't want you to fight...I don't want you to get involved.." she said. "Just-"

"Ah, report back to you?" he said. "Let you handle it?"

"Is that too much to ask?" she asked him.

He looked her up and down.

"I'll tell you who they are," he said. "I won't interfere."

"Okay," she said with relief. "Thank you."

"I won't intervene if.." he said.

"If what?" she asked.

"You see Dr. Kapoor tomorrow," he said. "He's free between 2 and 4 tomorrow afternoon."

Adriana crossed her arms.

"Fine. I'll go," she said. "And you will not make a move. You'll just let me know who's behind this and where they are, if you can figure it out."

"Agreed," he said and extended his hand to shake on it.

Adriana reached for his hand.

"Agreed," she said.
