A New World
Torian groaned when he finally started to regain consciousness. His vision was a little blurry, but after blinking a couple of times and shaking his head, he managed to clear it up. He noticed he was still in the gunner's seat in one of the AI-AT's turrets, and the viewing window gave view to a cloudy sky.
"That...could've gone better." Torian said before slowly getting back up. He noticed his helmet laying on the side and picked up to place it back on his head. Torian exited the gunner position and made his way to the other one on the side and noticed Markus knocked out on his gunner seat. "Hey, Markus, wake up." Torian shook him up a bit, which seemed to do the trick.
Markus groaned as he rubbed his head. "Are we safe?" Markus asked.
"That depends." Torian said sarcastically. "Come on, let's go see if the others are okay."
Both Torian and Markus went about the transport ship to check on the rest of the crew. Val was unconscious in the pilot seat, but he seemed fine when they woke him up. They went to wake up Forger, but there was no need as he was already awake and he seemed fine.
Markus went down to the medical bay and noticed Levi in the air spinning around and shaking it's head. "You alright, Levi?" Markus asked.
"I think a few wirings are knocked loose, but other than that I am fully functional." Levi said as after shaking her head and floated towards him. "As...adventurous...as that was, I hope that not all your excursions will be like that."
"You'll get used to it." Markus said with a chuckle before leaving the medical wing.
Torian, Markus, and Forger walked outside the ship to see how extensive the damage was outside the ship, and needless to say it wasn't all that bad. Sure the paint was chipped and there were a few scratches, but all in all it was still in tact.
The inside, however...
Val came outside and gave a sigh of frustration. "Well, the worst part is that the engines are completely shot, so we won't be leaving this rock anytime soon."
"You mean we're stuck here?!" Markus exclaimed in alarm.
"Unless we can get some decent tools and a workstation I can use, then yeah we're pretty much stuck." Val said before placing his helmet on. "I sent out a secure Mandalorian distress beacon, though, so hopefully a fellow covert might pick it up and give us a lift."
"That depends if they can even find us." Torian said as he and the other looked around to study their surroundings.
They appear to be in some kind of forest, with the many trees and forest critters they heard in the distance. They could also hear the faint sound of running water in the distance so they might also be near a stream. The atmosphere was cold, but they've been trained to handle harsh conditions so they hardly noticed it. They looked up and noticed that a number of trees were knocked down behind the ship, most likely from their crash landing.
"Any idea where we are?" Markus asked.
Forger knelt down to inspect the land before looking on in the distance, trying to get some sense of familiarity. "This world is unfamiliar to me. I've been to worlds like this one, but there is something different from this one."
"Great, so were stranded and we're lost." Markus said in frustration before heading back to the ship. "I'm going to see if I can get the Nav computer working, maybe see where in the galaxy we are."
"Good idea." Torian said as he looked at Val. "We should probably scout ahead, see if we can get a lay of the land." Val nodded at that, thinking it was a good idea.
"I can hear water in the distance. I'll go and refill some canteens with it, so we can get a little more comfortable in our predicament." Forger said as he walked off.
Torian and Val looked at each other for a brief moment before taking off in their jet packs into the air. The two of them split off in different directions so as they could cover more ground.
Torian went above the tree line as he flew around and was able to see more clearly on their surroundings. There was plenty of forest around them, but he could also see mountains, hills, and clear plains off in the distance. He wondered if the whole planet was like this.
Torian flew down and landed on top of a tree branch Ned looked off into the distance. "I just hope the locals here are friendly." Torian muttered as he continued flying.
Val flew above as well, but soon landed back ground level and took a look at all the trees. He's never been that much into nature, but he's always admired the beauty of each world he visited, even if that world had some ugly aspects.
Val soon noticed something strange with one of the trees as he got closer to it. The bark on the tree was pure white, and the leaves on it's branches was red and had five points on it. Val walked around the tree for a bit as he inspected it, but as he walked something on the tree caused him to jump back a bit in fright.
Right in the trunk of the tree looked to be a human face. The face appeared to be rather feminine, but the most bone chilling part about it was that the eye parts of the face seemed to be crying tears of blood.
"Just what kind of world did we land on?" Val asked himself.

Ned Stark led his riders across the plains of the North in order to find where that metal-winged...thing...crashed at. Many of the common folk in Winterfell and Wintertown heard the roar of the object falling in the sky, and needless to say they were frightened beyond belief. Many believed it was the Old Gods coming to punish them for not having enough faith in them, others believed it was the birth of a ferocious new dragon born anew from the sun and has come to seek vengeance. Ned spent quite a bit of time trying to calm his people down, and promised he would tell them what is going on after his investigation.
With Ned was his bastard Jon, along with his oldest son Robb, who had short dark brown that was bordering on black, his ward Theon Greyjoy, who had brown hair, and who was given to him at the end of the Greyjoy Rebellion, as well as his captain of his guard Jory Cassel. There were two other guards with them as they rode off in the direction of the falling object.
The group of riders stopped their horses when the reached the top of a hill and looked in the distance and spotted a forest not that far off. Ned noticed that the tip of the trees were broken off, meaning they were in the right direction.
His son's and riders seemed to be thinking the same thing. "We appear to be on the right track, my lord." Jory said.
"What is it that you think we'll find?" Robb asked.
"I heard from the commoners, and one said that it's probably the Old God's taking a shit." Theon said with a smirk, causing some of the others to chuckle.
Ned, however, remained serious. "It doesn't matter what it is, all that matters is finding it."
They were about to ride off, but Jon saw something coming from the distance. "My lord, riders approaching." Jon called out. Ned looked and sure enough, he was right. Four riders were approaching, as they appeared to have noticed them and made their way towards him.
Ned spotted the riders had flags and a sigil, and figured this would be a good test for his children. "Can you tell what that sigil means?"
Robb looked closely and recognized it. "A white tree on a black field, with a black sword pointing downwards. The sigil for House Forrester."
"Their words are 'Iron from Ice.'" Jon continued.
"They supply Iron Wood for shields, ships, and sometimes furniture." Theon finished.
"Very good." Ned said with a nod of approval.
"It makes sense we would run into them. Ironrath is not that far from here." Jory said.
The new riders soon met up with the Starks and they were able to get a clear view of each other. The lead rider was man with smooth brown hair and had a full beard and connecting mustache. The rider right by him was younger than he was and had blondish-brown hair wearing a leather top over his clothes with the Forrester sigil on it. There were two other riders with them, who were knights and were wearing armor.
The lead rider glanced at Ned and bowed his head formerly. "Lord Eddard Stark, it is an honor to see you again. I am Rodrick, son of Gregor Forrestor, Lord of Ironrath."
Ned's eyes widened in shock as he got a good look at Rodrick. "Rodrick...by the Old Gods, you've become a man."
Rodrick smiled with a slight chuckle. "I suppose I have changed a bit. It has been many years since you last visited Ironrath."
Ned soon turned his attention to the young man next to Rodrick, who had a look of nervousness at seeing the lord paramount of the North. "And who might you be, young man?"
The young man gave a slight gulp before speaking up. "I'm Gared Tuttle, my lord. Squire to House Forrestor."
"I hope you'll serve your House and Realm to the best of your ability." Ned said with a nod.
"I will, my lord." Gared said with conviction.
"I believe you here for the same reason we're here." Jon said.
"That's right." Rodrick said seriously. "We heard the roar of something falling from the sky at Ironrath, and wanted to see what caused it in order to calm our people down."
"The same thing happened at Winterfell." Robb said. "Father said when he saw it it looked like it was made out of metal."
"How can something that is metal come from the sky?" Gared asked.
"That's what we're here to find out." Jory said as he nodded his head towards the woods. "All evidence point that whatever it was fell into these woods."
"Then let's not waste any more time." Ned said as he and the others nudged their horses forward and they all made their way into the woods.

Markus continued to try and work on the Galaxy Map with in the hull of the ship with Levi floating right next to him. Currently he was working on the inside of the large circular terminal, where a few sparks occurred every minute or so.
"Ow!" Markus said as a spark shocked his finger and he jumped up a bit, but being inside the holo-table caused him to hit his head on the top part. "OW!"
"Perhaps you should be more careful." Levi noted.
"Gee, you think?" Markus said sarcastically before getting back to work. "Let's try this a again." Markus used his tools to work on the circuitry, before the inside started to light up. "Alright! That's what I'm talking about!"
"Well done, sir." Levi said as Markus got out of the terminal and stood back up. The holo-table soon powered on and a holographic images of the galaxy was displayed. "Power has been restored to the holo-table."
"Now let's see where we are." Markus said as he pressed a few buttons. A blip started to light up on the galaxy hologram and Markus zoomed in where that blip was being shown. "Okay, this is where we are, and we are in...that can't be right." Markus gained a confused look on his face.
"What's wrong, Markus?" Levi asked.
"Well, this blip is supposed to be us, and it should be on the planet we're stranded on." Markus said, his confusion still didn't leave his face. "But according to this map, there isn't anything there. I can tell we are very far out in the Outer Rim, farther than anyone has ever been. The strange thing is that the map is saying we are not on a planet."
"Perhaps it is a mistake." Levi suggested.
"This map is telling me that this planet shouldn't exist. That's a pretty big mistake." Markus said with a troubled look on his face.
Levi's head soon perked up as she looked past him. "Markus, my sensors are picking up life forms approaching the ship."
"Wildlife?" Markus asked cautiously.
"Too large. Most likely the primary occupants of this system." Levi informed.
"Looks like our landing disturbed the locals." Markus said as he was about to walk off. "Guess I better go out and say hi. Who knows, maybe they might be able to help us."
"And if these locals are less-than savory individuals?" Levi asked. Markus gave a smirk as he pulled out a blaster pistol and strapped it to his hip. Levi shook her head and gave a sigh. "Of course, because that always goes well."

Ned and his riders rode through the forest, with each passing second, they saw the increase in damage this thing caused when it fell. It wasn't long before they came upon the goal of their search and see the large object. Many of the Northerners gasped in surprise as they reigned their horses in as they gazed upon the sheer size of what laid before them. Dug into a trench was the metal winged...thing...as they can best describe it, with the paint on the hull looking a bit scratched up on the side.
"Seven hells." Robb muttered in awe and dread. "What in the Realm is that?"
"Perhaps an omen?" Theon guessed. "Your House seems to firmly believe in strange events as a bad omen."
Gared looked at it for a moment and pointed something out. "It has wings. Do you suppose it is a dragon of some sort."
"If it'd be a dragon, then why would it have those things on it?" Jon pointed out as he noted the large circular engines on the wings.
That was a valid point, even though none of them have ever laid eyes on a dragon, given that they had died out a long time ago. Still, they doubt a dragon would like what they were looking at right now.
"The front end...it almost reminds me of a ship." Jory noted in slight wonder.
"A ship from the sky? That's a mummer's tail if I ever heard one." Theon scoffed.
"I saw it fall from the sky, so that's the best guess I'm concluding." Jon spoke up in the Captain of the Guard's defense. "Unless you have any better ideas on what it is." Theon had to admit that Jon had a good point, though he'd never say it out loud.
"Should we approach it, my lord?" Rodrick asked his Lord Paramount, wondering if it was the best move or not.
Before Ned could respond, a noise was heard coming from the ship, that spooked the horses a bit. The Northerners soon got off their horses, as they preferred not to get thrown off their saddles from their frightened and jittery movements, and managed to tie their reigns to nearby trees. Each of them were kept on guard as they watched the back end of the large structure fled out like a drawbridge, with some of their hands on their swords, in case there would be trouble.
When the ramp of the AI-AT fully let down, the Northerners watched as Markus stepped out, eyeing each of them with a critical glance. Markus has been trained to take in everything he looks at, even the people he interacts with, in order to determine if they were a threat or not. From their attire and swords that each of them carry, Markus can instantly tell that these people were not as advanced as other species in the galaxy. He's heard of and, even came across, some species that weren't the most advanced technology wise, but these people were eyeing him and the ship like something truly unbelievable.
'Well, looks like we're not getting some spare ship parts from these people.' Markus thought before giving a casual wave. "Hello there."
The Northerners continued to look on in shock at the sight of the young man as he walked out of the metal structure. He appeared to be a very young man, most likely a year or two older then his oldest daughter, Sansa. His attire didn't seem to display that he was from the North, nor did he wear any House sigil, but he didn't seem bothered by the situation at all and stepped forward casually.
However, despite his seemingly calm demeanor, the experienced Lord of Winterfell was able to clearly see he was slightly on edge and clearly held the visage of a true warrior, despite being so young.
Jory stepped forward and held up an authoritative stance. "State your name, boy."
"Name's Markus. Who are you?" Markus asked curiously.
Everyone looked at the young man in shock as he didn't show any ounce of formality when in the presence of their Lord Paramount.
Theon stepped forward with the grip on his sword tightening. "Have care on how you speak!" Theon said in an angry tone. "You are standing in the presence of Lord Eddard Stark, Warden of the North, and Lord of Winterfell!"
Markus stopped walking and raised one his hand placatingly, while still keeping the other hand on his holstered blaster pistol. "Easy, it's okay. I was just hoping you can possibly tell me where we are."
Each of the Northern men looked at each other in confusion, with the Stark patriarch still giving the young man a critical gaze.
"You...are in the North." Gared spoke up, feeling confused on why he would inquire such a question.
"I need a bit more than the direction." Markus said, further confusing the Northerners. "I was actually hoping you could tell me the name of the planet were on, or at least the continent."
Again, this further confused the Northerners as they don't understand how he could not know what land he currently resided. Perhaps a form of memory loss? They've never heard of one so severe like that, but it may be possible. And what did he mean by...planet?
Ned Stark stepped forward and decided to answer his questions. "You are in the kingdom of Westeros, in the Northern Kingdom."
"That still doesn't really help much." Markus muttered to himself.
"Now it is your turn to answer my questions." Ned said sternly. "Who are you and what do you know of this...thing?"
"Well...it's a little tough to explain." Markus said as he knew what a shock it might be for these people on how the galaxy actually worked. He's heard somethings of culture shocks within primitive civilizations after they find out they're not alone in the universe.
All of a sudden, Levi floated up behind him and spoke up. "Did first contact go well, Markus?"
All of the Northerners eyes widened in shock and horror at this strange being that was small, had no legs, and was floating in air.
"Seven hells!"
"What the fuck?!"
"Monster!"
Those were just the many words and phrases that came from the less experienced Northern soldiers, while some just looked on with their eyes widened like saucers and mouths hanging open. The Stark children and ward both looked on in shock, while the later screamed in shock, and the Forrester heir and squire both backed up slightly in fear.
Ned Stark, however, still tried to keep a calm facade, but even he was greatly in shock at the sight. He's never been one to believe in magic or superstition, even when he heard the tales from when he was a young and naive lad. But now, right in front of him and his men, was something that can only be described out of something from the stories of old.
Each of the men, except for Ned, drew their swords in shock as they had no idea if this creature was dangerous or not. Markus reacted in kind and drew out his blaster pistol and pointed it at them.
Levi's eye lenses widened slightly as she held her claw hands in the air. "I'm going to take this as a no."
"Yeah, not really the best time, Levi." Markus whispered as he kept his blaster pointed at them. "Okay everyone, let's just take a deep breath here."
"What in seven hells is that thing?!" Jon exclaimed as he eyed the medical droid with fear, but also in slight wonder at never seeing anything like it before.
Before anything else could be said, or yelled, a barrage of blaster bolts rained down space between Markus and the Northern men, causing the locals to to back away in fear. When they looked up, they saw Torian and Val flying up below the top of the tree line before landing on some branches and pointed their weapons at the Northern men. The Northerners all looked on in shock as these armored individuals looked like nothing they've never seen before, and seemed to have weapons that spew out light and can fly.
"Stay away from him!" Torian exclaimed as he pointed his WESTAR-35 pistols at them, before looking at Markus. "You alright, kid?"
"Doing okay, all things considered." Markus said with a shrug.
"Would've been here sooner, but we got stuck sight seeing." Val said as he pointed his rifle at the Northerners. "Drop your weapons, and let's just calm down."
"What in seven hells are they?" Rodrick asked as he was slightly shaken up by what he just witnessed.
"Are they knights of some kind?" Jon asked, looking closely at their armor, though he found their helmets slightly odd.
"I've seen knights before, and trust me they sure as hell don't fly." Jory whispered, still not taking his eyes off the Mandalorians.
CLANG!
Everyone stopped speaking and remained silent they looked back on the ship and saw Forger standing on top of AI-AT. He slammed his metal cane on top of it to make that loud sound and got everyone's attention.
Ned stared long and hard at Forger, and just by his sheer presence alone, he could tell that this was a hardened soldier. The armor looked clean, but he could tell that it has seen many battles and has been through many hardships. Ned couldn't help but have a look of admiration as he gazed at the silvered armored individual, as he knew this was an individual that earned the respect of his peers.
"That's no way to give a proper greeting." Forger stated as he glanced at the three Mandalorians. "Put your weapons down. Let's not make things complicated." The three of them agreed and lowered their weapons, but still held them in their hands and Torian and Val still remained on top of the branches. Forger then cast his glance at the Northerners. "Perhaps you can lower your weapons as well? That way we can settle this without things getting messy."
Ned looked at each of these newcomers for a moment before nodding his head. "Lower your weapons." Ned ordered his men.
"But my lord-" Theon tried to protest.
"Do it. Now." Ned said more firmly. The others soon obeyed their lord's orders and lowered their weapons, but much like the Mandalorians they still kept their swords in hand.
"Now, perhaps we can talk this over and not shed any blood this day." Forger said.
"I believe that would be wise." Ned said in agreement.
Torian cast a critical at each of them, and he could tell that either these people were soldiers, or were training to become one. The one in the lead, the one with the full beard and brown hair and had a long silver sword, definitely was the leader of this little party. Much like Forger, he had a tough exterior like a warrior, but could tell that there was a gentler side to him. Two of the others shared similar trait to him, most likely related, while the rest of them showed no similarities.
Torian's head snapped right as he spotted something behind Jon and prepping what looked like a bow and arrow aimed right at his head.
"Look out!" Torian exclaimed as he raised one of his WESTAR-35 pistols and fired hitting the target with great precision.
The Northerners jumped in shock as they looked behind them to see what it was, and they were quite surprised, though not as much as Jon. Lying on the ground dead, was what looked like a muscular man with a long beard, had a large axe strapped to his back, but wielded a bow and arrow in his hands, and clothes seemed more like animal pelts.
Jon looked back up at Torian in shock, but then gained a look realizations as it turned out that he just saved his life. This was the first time he's ever had a brush with death, and he would have died if not for this strange armored individual.
All of a sudden, almost two dozen individuals that had similar attire to the one that just got shot, came out from behind the trees and charged right at the group of Northerners.
"Wildlings!" Ned exclaimed in alarm as he and the rest of the Northern men raised up their swords as the group of wild men attacked them. The Mandalorians saw they were outnumbered, and since one of their own was amongst them, they leapt down and helped out in the battle.
A few wildlings attacked both Rodrick and Gared as they tried to defend themselves. The heir to Ironrath was doing really well, blocking their axes and curved swords with his own swords. He ducked under the swing of an axe and stabbed the assailant in the stomach, killing him. When the second wildling tried to attack him, a wire was wrapped around his throat and yanked him back and fell back first to the ground. Rodrick looked to see that it was Val who shot a wire from his vambrace and yanked the wildling towards him. Val pulled out his Mandalorian rifle and shot the wildling a few times in the chest, before giving Rodrick a nod, which he returned.
The Forrestor heir looked to see Gared having a difficult time with his wildling opponent, and that's to be understandable with him having not much battle experience except when it comes to training. Gared blocked the axe from the wilding and managed to disarm it from it's wielder, before Gared slashed the wildling on his chest killing him. Rodrick came to Gared and patted him on the shoulder in congratulations, knowing that he did well for his first battle, before they returned to the fray.
Markus fired at any wildling that came close to him with his blaster pistol, but he failed to notice one charging right behind him. The wildling ran up to him with his long axe raised to bisect him, but something struck his legs and caused him to trip up, but soon got up from the ground and noticed Forger standing before him. The wildling looked towards the metal cane in Forger's hand and laughed out loud, thinking that he was a cripple and that it was humorous that he would attempt to challenge him.
Before the wildling could even react, Forger pulled out a hammer from behind his back and smashed it on his shin, causing the wildling to scream in pain and kneel down. He attempted to swing at him with his axe, but Forger just knocked it aside with his metal cane and then swung his hammer at the side of his head, knocking a few teeth and spitting up some blood. Another wildling came up from behind him, but he ducked down and tossed him over his shoulder, before Forger brought his hammed down on the wildling's skull, killing him.
Rob, Jon, and Theon stuck together as they defended each other from the wildlings that attacked them. The boys worked well in tangent together, given that they've always trained together so they know each other's moves. Every time one of them blocked a strike from a wildling, the other would attack and cut down the assailant. For Jon, he wondered if this is what it'll be like if he were to go to the Wall, seeing as how they fight wildlings from beyond it all the time, or so he's been told.
Ned and Jory stood side by side as they expertly blocked each strike sent their way and retaliated with strikes of their own. They were by no means overconfident, but how undisciplined in their fighting techniques they were, they believed they could handle them. When tried to strike at Lord Stark's head, he raised his Valyrian steel sword, Ice, he easily deflected the attack and swung back horizontally, cutting of the wildling's head.
Torian continued to fire both his pistols at any wildling that came close to him, before he felt something impact his chest. He looked down to se a broken arrow on the ground, before looking up to see three wildlings with bow and arrows all locked on him. They launched their arrows, but all of their shots completely broke when they impacted his Beskar armor, which greatly shocked them. Torian simply raised both his blasters and took out all three of them in quick succession.
Torian didn't get a chance to relax as a very large and muscular wildling charging in from behind, wielding a large hammer, and struck him on his back. Torian grunted as he landed on the ground and tried to get back up, but the large wildling was relentless and smashed his hammer across the Mandalorian's chest, forcing him to drop his two WESTAR-35 pistols.
The large wildling stood over Torian and knelt down to wrap his massive hands around his throat and started choking him. "I'm going to rip your tongue out from your throat!" The wildling man snarled.
Torian couldn't catch his breath as he felt his throat being squeezed, cutting off his air supply. He tried to pry the massive hands off his throat with his own hands, but this man's strength was just too much compared to his own. Seeing that brute strength wasn't going to work, Torian thought of another solution as he pointed his vambrace on his right arm towards the large wildling's head, confusing the large man.
All of a sudden, a stream of fire shot out from Torian's vambrace, and shot right at the large wildling man's head. The man instantly let him go as he screamed in sheer agony and pain as his entire head caught on fire. It didn't end their as the fire spread all throughout his body, causing him to flail around in an desperate attempt to try and douse the flames off him, but it wasn't working in the slightest. He screams of pain finally ceased before he collapsed onto the dirt dead, with the flames finally receding, revealing his charred and crispy body.
All fighting instantly ceased as the wildling's looked on in fear at the state that befallen their comrade, while the Northern men also looked on in shock that they just witnessed someone spew fire from his arms. How can one man, who had armor like a Knight of the Realm, fly and shoot fire like a dragon?
Ned was also looking on in complete shock, before taking glance from Torian towards the other armored individuals of the group, even Markus though he did not wear armor. If one of them could do something like that, just what were the others capable of? Could they do similar feats, or was there more to them than meets the eye.
Torian got back up, while giving a slight cough from having air back in his lungs, before walking back towards his WESTAR-35 pistols and pointed them at the remaining wildlings that continued to look at him in shock.
"Anyone else?" Torian asked casually, daring his attackers to try something. The rest of the Mandalorians walked up and stood by his side, pointing their weapons at the wildlings as well.
Not wanting to suffer the same fate as their comrade, as well as their superstitious minds thinking they were some kinds of demons, all of the wildlings ran off in fear and back deep into the woods. The Mandalorians lowered their weapons and relaxed their muscles, knowing that the conflict was over, before looking towards Northerners, who still had a look a shock.
"Is everyone alright?" Forger asked.
Ned slowly calmed down from his stupor as he attempted to keep his rational thoughts stable. "Yes, we are alright." Ned said with a nod before looking towards Torian. "Thank you for saving Jon."
"Your welcome." Torian said as he nodded back before nodding at Jon, who returned it in appreciation.
"Those guys did not look like the friendly sort." Markus said sarcastically.
"I recognized them as members of the Hill Tribes." Jory explained. "Wildlings that pillage and plunder our lands and destroy villages, taking anything they want and killing everyone with no remorse."
"Probably came here for the same reason as you. Wanting to see what this thing was and if it was valuable." Val said as he gestured to their crashed ship.
"What you just did back there, how did you do it?" Rodrick asked while looking at Torian in amazement.
"Was it magic?" Gared asked, not even attempting to hide the awe in his voice.
"No, it wasn't magic." Val said instantly.
"How could it not be magic?" Theon said in disbelief. "Normal men do not just fly from the sky and shoot fire like a dragon!"
"The young lad does make a valid point." Ned pointed out as he looked at each of the Mandalorians with a critical gaze. "Who are you people?"
Each of the Mandalorians looked at each other inquisitively, before the younger ones all set their sights onto Forger. Forger set his gaze upon the local Northerners for a brief moment, before looking at his comrades and nodding his head. The two young armored Mandalorians nodded their heads as they looked back at the Northerners and removed their helmets, revealing their faces.
"My name is Torian Cadera." Torian greeted.
"I am Val Norin." Val said with a nod.
"My name is Markus Eldar." Markus greeted with a slight wave and smile.
"And you may call me Forger." Forger greeted with a nod. "And we...are Mandalorians."
Each of the Northerners looked at each other in confusion as that word was awfully foreign to them. "And what is a Mandalorian?" Jon asked.
"All will be explained, but it would be easier to do it in our ship." Forger said as he and the other Mandalorians walked behind him as they made their back to the AI-AT.
Ned Stark gave a critical gaze at each of these strangers before sheathing his sword and slowly followed along. "Very well." Ned said in agreement.
"Father, are you sure about this?" Robb asked with caution.
"He's right to be cautious, my lord." One of Ned's guards spoke up. "We know next to nothing about these people."
"This could still be a trap to kill us, Lord Stark." Jory said, still pretty cautious of these strange individuals.
"I do not believe that is the case." Jon said in the Mandalorians defense. "They seem like honorable warriors to me."
"And how did you figure that out?" Theon asked doubtfully.
"You've seen what they can do, how they managed to kill those wildlings with ease." Ned said as he gazed at each of his and the Forrestor's men. "If they wanted to, we would already be dead. The fact that they haven't killed us already means that they're willing to talk. They saved us, so I believe we should honor them by hearing them out."
Each of them took their lord's words to heart as they each nodded in agreement, before following after the Mandalorian group. While they were amazed by their skill in battle, they were hoping to at least get some solid answers from them.
One thing was for sure, after today, nothing was going to be the same for the North, or pretty much all of Westeros, ever again.
/
Hey everybody, I've brought you the next chapter already!
This chapter was already saved in my files, which is why it came out so fast. The rest of this story I will have to work on from scratch, so it will take awhile to get to it.
This was pretty fun to write as we finally have the Mandalorians arrive at Westeros and they have met some of the locals. For those of you who don't know, Rodrick Forrestor and Gared Tuttle are original characters from the Game of Thrones Telltale video game, and even though they didn't appear in the show I plan to change that and have my characters interact with the events in the video game. I wasn't particularly proud of the fight scene at the end of the chapter, but I hoped you guys liked it.
Next chapter is going to be more of an explanation chapter as our favorite Lord of the North and his entourage are going to get the shock of their lives when they find out there is more to what's beyond the stars than what they originally thought.
Now, I have an announcement.
I am going to do another Game of Thrones and Star Wars story in the future, though it is unclear when so don't think that it's going to be soon. The difference is that instead of Mandalorians going to this world, it's going to be Jedi. There's also another difference that's extremely important.
While this story takes place before the fall of the Empire, the second story will take place after the fall of the Empire. Another big difference is that I will combine elements of the Legends timeline with the Disney Canon timeline, as I think both of them has something good I can work with. So, I'll just be creating my own Star Wars timeline for that story, which I think will be a fun little experiment.
That's all I have to say everyone, I hope you all enjoy this chapter. Stay healthy, stay safe, and I'll see you soon!
