Hello and welcome to another chapter of Dark Slayers Rebirth. Wow. 10+ reviews, over 20 favs and followers and over 100 views from the first chapter alone! Thank you all so much for the support. Like I said before, there aren't a lot of fem Vergil fics. That being said, really glad this one is getting some love.
Also, kinda sad nobody got the reference from the first chapter. The answer was a Devil May Cry skit on YouTube called "Did Sombody Say..." by DarkAbridgerEX. If you haven't checked it out yet, look at his Devil May Cry abridged video's.
Now let's get to it.

"Vernal! RUN!
"Aw, a human protecting a half breed. I don't know whether to call it funny, sad, or both. Now kill the woman and bring the girl to me. She has something I want."
"Get out of here, Vernal!"
"Dammit! Why? First father, now this?! ...If only... If only I had... Power... Power! POWER! Give me more POWER!"
"Wha? What is this?!"
"Slay all!"
It is a new day in Kuoh. And in the residence of the Angelo family, Vernal is awakened by the sound of her alarm clock. The alarm continues to blare before Vernal shuts it off. She opens her eyes before rising out of her bed. Her sleepwear consists of a sleeveless blue shirt that stops at her naval and black shorts.
Vernal looks around her room. The room itself looks a little plain. Only having the necessities. A bed, a desk with a lamp and a alarm clock on it, a bookshelf, a full length mirror and a closet. On top of her desk is a picture of Vernal and her mother, with Vernal simply looking ahead while her mother was glomping her. After taking a look at the picture, Vernal gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, Vernal's clothes can be seen neatly folded on top of the clothes hamper along with her school uniform and blue underwear. The sound of running water from the shower can be heard as well. Inside the shower, Vernal is seen washing herself. After a few more moments, the white haired girl turns off the shower, steps out of the tub and then dries herself off. She then looks at the mirror in front of her. As she closely examines her reflection, her image changes to a man who looks like a male version of herself. Or rather, the person she use to be. Vergil Sparda. The Dark Slayer.
"Nally-chan!" Sylia's voice taking Vernal out of her thoughts. "Breakfast is ready!"
Vernal looks back at her reflection to see that her image is back to normal. She then puts her towel back on the rack and grabs her bra. Vernal stares at the undergarment for a moment before glancing at her chest. She then sighs before proceeding to get dressed.
Moments later, Vernal enters the dining room.
"Good morning, Nally-chan~" Sylia sings while attempting to glomp her daughter. Only for Vernal to step to the side. Causing Sylia to run into a wall.
"Morning, Mother." Vernal says.
"Mou! Why do you always dodge my hugs?" Sylia whines as she rubbs her nose.
"There's a difference between hugging and tackling." Vernal replies.
Sylia pouts for a moment before Vernal holds her hand out. Sylia looks at her daughter who looks off to the side. Syila smiles as she takes her daughters hand and is lifted up. The two then sit down at the table and have breakfast. Syila decided to go for the traditional Japanese breakfast consisting of steamed rice, miso soup and grilled fish.
"So, what happened last night?" Sylia asks. "When you came home, you went straight to bed. So I didn't get the chance to ask."
"...Our suspicions were correct." Vernal says. "Hyoudou was revived as a servant under the Gremory girl."
"So, he's a devil now." Syila says.
Vernal nods. "Another Fallen Angel attacked him as well. I confronted him, but he managed to escape. Gremory showed up afterwards. ...She was watching."
"Which means she'll likely question you at school." Sylia says with an frown. "Leviathan's sister may have given up on trying to recruit you, but Lucifer's sister seems...desperate to have you."
"But for what reason?" Vernal asks.
"I'm not sure." Sylia says while shaking her head. "Just be careful. I know you can handle yourself, but as your mother, I can't help but worry."
Vernal nods.
After breakfast, Vernal is seen exiting her house with her bag in hand. Sylia then steps out of the house and hands Vernal a bento. She then stands on her toes and kisses Vernal's cheek. Causing the girl to pause.
"Have a good day, Nally-chan!" Sylia says as she waves at her daughter while going back inside their home.
As the door closes, Vernal simply stands in place while looking at the spot her mother was just at. She then closes her eyes, turns around, reaches into her bag to pull out a book with the letter V on it and walks away.
"It's moments like this that I am thankful we don't have neighbors." Vernal says with a small smirk.
As Vernal walks to school, she reads her book as she normally does.
"Vernal-senpai!"
Only for Vernal's peace and quiet to be ruined by a familiar voice. She turns to her right to see Iseei moving towards her. Along with a surprise. Rias Gremory.
"G-good morning Vernal-senpai." Issei says.
"Hyoudou." Vernal says with a nod. "I see your are still among the living."
Issei sheepishly rubbs the back of his head. "Y-yeah." Issei glances at Rias, who hasn't taken her eyes off Vernal. "Gremory-senpai healed me. Though I'm a little confused about what happened last night."
Vernal glances at Rias. "I see." Vernal then returns her attention back to her book as she walks away.
"Wait!" Issei says. Vernal stops walking, but doesn't turn around as Issei continues. "I... I just wanted to say..." Issei suddenly bows. "Thanks for saving me!"
"...If you really want to thank me, you'll get stronger." Vernal says as she resumes walking. "You'll only be a burden the way you are now."
As Vernal leaves, Rias walks next to Issei. The brown haired boy looks to the redhead. "Uh, don't mind her. She's always like that."
"So I see." Rias says as she watches Vernal leave.
At school, the students were abuzz about the fact that Issei, one of the biggest perverts ever, was walking to school with Rias Gremory. Rias didn't look like she was bothered by the students gossip, but Issei knew that he had put a target on his head. Rias then met up with Sona and talked about her newest member. The topic of their conversation then shifted to Vernal. From what Rias was able to see from the white haired girls fight with the Fallen Angel, Vernal is as fast as she is powerful with her strange ability to create energy swords. And yet, the readhead knew that Vernal wasn't even using a fraction of her real strength. It seems the mystery of Vernal Angelo continues to deepen.
The rest of the school day went on without anything interesting happening. Vernal was currently sitting at her desk reading her unnamed book. The girls last class had ended a few moments ago and Vernal would usually be on her way to the Kendo Club by now. Except Vernal knew that she wouldn't be attending her club activities today. Which is why she had Murayama and Katase handle things in her stead.
Just as she thought, the door to her classroom opens to reveal Rias and Akeno.
"I see you've been expecting us." Rias says.
"Naturally." Vernal says with her face still in her book.
"In that case, I'll cut to the chase." Rias says. "I'd like for you to join us for today meeting. Issei will be on his way shortly."
Vernal closes her eyes as she then closes her book. She puts the book in her bag before standing up. Vernal then opens her eyes.
"Let's get this over with." Vernal says as she walks pass Rias and Akeno. The two girls in question exchange looks before following Vernal.
The walk to the Occult Research Club was eerily quiet. Rias and Akeno dared not to say anything. Seems like Vernal's display with the Fallen had them on edge. Not that it mattered to Vernal. She would only defend herself if need be. The white haired girl would listen to Rias' explanation and then leave. If the devils attempt hold her against her will, Vernal would show them how outclassed they are.
The club room interior is a wood-paneled room with Victorian-style couches and chairs along the walls. One side is set up to be able to be used as a bath. There's also a large magic circle there as well. On on of the sofas is Koneko munching on chocolate.
"Classy." Vernal says as she looks around.
"Thank you." Rias says. "Akeno, could you make some tea for our guest?"
"Sure thing Bucho." Akeno says. She then heads to the kitchen.
"Sit where ever you like, Angelo-san." Rias says as she makes her way to the shower.
Vernal decides to sit on the sofa opposite Koneko. She then grabs her book from out of her bag and starts reading. While ignoring the fact that Rias was taking off her clothes before entering the shower. As the sounds of running water fill the air, Konkeo takes a few glances at Vernal while eating her snack. The smaller white haired girl had never interacted with the older one. But after last night, Koneko was wary of Vernal. The older white haired girl seemed to exhibit an aura that triggers Koneko's fight or flight instincts.
"Here you go." Akeno says as she places a cup of tea on the table.
Vernal looks from her book at the cup of tea. She then glances at Akeno, who simply smiles at her. Vernal then closes her book before grabbing the teacup. She takes a sip.
"...Oolong." Vernal says. "You're quite skilled."
"Well, thank you for the compliment." Akeno says with a smile.
Vernal takes another sip of her tea as Akeno observes.
"Kiba-kun wasn't kidding." Akeno thinks. "She's very intimidating." Akeno turns around before licking her lips. "It kinda sends shivers down my spine."
A few moments later, the door opens to reveal Issei and Kiba. Issei looks around before spotting Koneko.
"Whoa, she's here too?" Issei asks.
"Yes." Kiba says. "Koneko is a 1st year here and a valued member of the Occult Research Club."
Koneko looks at Issei and nods hello before returning to her snack. Issei then notices another familiar face and is shocked to see her.
"Vernal-senpai?" Issei asks. "I thought you were with the Kendo Club."
"I am." Vernal says as she takes a sip of her tea. She then opens her book. "I was merely invited here."
After introducing themselves to Issei, the clubs president exited the shower fully clothed. Rias then welcomed Issei to the club before getting down to business. The redhead dropped the literal bomb and told Issei that he was no longer human. That he was killed by his Fallen Angel ex-girlfriend and was revived as a devil servant. The whole time, Vernal stayed quiet as she observed. Issei did ask if Vernal was a devil as well. To which she ominously replied "Not like the ones here."
Issei of course was freaked out by the news, but that soon went away as Rias explained that if the boy did well on his contracts, he could get his own servants. Or in his words, his own harem. Issei decided right then and there that he was fine with becoming a devil if it meant his dream becoming a reality. Issei was then given the basics of making packs with humans before being sent to his first request. Though everyone did find out that the boy had little to no magic to even teleport via magic circle. Meaning Issei had to take his bike.
After sending Issei off, Vernal was left with the remaining members of the club.
"I'm surprised you had nothing to ask." Rias says.
Vernal turns a page in her book. "There was nothing to asks. I already knew about what was discussed thanks to my mother."
"Really?" Rias asks with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes, and before you asks, my mother is human." Vernal says. "She just has knowledge of the supernatural." Vernal closes her book before looking Rias in the eyes. "Now, why don't you tell me what you want with me?"
Rias narrows her eyes. "Simply put, I want to know what your plans are here in Kuoh."
Vernal stays silent as she glances at Rias and her group. "To be perfectly honest, I'd rather not be at school. But my mother thought I should learn to interact with others my own age."
"...That's all?" Rias asks with skepticism.
"It doesn't matter whether you choose to believe me or not." Vernal says. "To put it simply, I have no interest in your afairs. Refrain from annoying me and we'll have no problems." Vernal narrows her eyes. "However, I insist that you cease spying on me. I have no plans for this town and simply want to live with the opportunity given to me."
"Opportunity?" Rias asks.
"If there is a threat, I will act as I always have." Vernal says while ignoring Rias' question. "If our paths align, then we will cross that bridge when the time comes." Vernal stands up and grabs her bag. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm late for dinner. ...We're having fish."
Konkeo perks up at Vernal's statement as the older white haired girl teleports with a blue flash. Leaving the other's to their thoughts.
"What do you think Rias?" Akeno asks.
"...From what I could tell, Angelo-san means us no harm as long as we leave her alone." Rias says after a pause. "Still, I can't help but feel that the more we learn about her, the less we know."
Vernal was on her way home after her meeting with Rias. She would've simply teleported home. If not for the fact that she sensed another fallen angel nearby. Along with- you guessed it- Issei. So, Vernal decided to take to the rooftops and observe the events.
"The boy is about as much trouble as Dante." Vernal deadpans. "And that's saying something."
Tonight's fallen angel was a tall and buxom woman with brown eyes and long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye. Her attire consist of a maroon, trenchcoat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt and black heeled shoes. The trenchcoat top is open at her chest, giving view to her breasts and cleavage. She also wears a gold necklace around her neck. She appears to wear a white shirt underneath her top, but it can only be seen from the bottom.
From what Vernal heard, the fallen's name is Kalawarner.
Issei was frozen in fear once more in the face of danger. Even though the fallen realized that Issei was one of Rias' servants, Kalawarner was still adamant about killing the boy.
Just when it looked like he was about to die again, Issei did something unexpected. In a flash of green light, a red gauntlet appeared on the boys left hand. The gauntlet has a green gem in the middle and a gold spike on each side. The build-up of power was enough to strip Kalawarner of her clothes.
"Is that...the Sacred Gear?!" Kalawarner asks in shock. She then sneers. "I've got better things to do. I'll let someone else deal with this crap!"
Kalawarner flies away, but not before noticing Vernal on a rooftop nearby. The two exchange glances before the fallen leaves. Vernal then turns her attention back to Issei. Or more specifically, the gauntlet on his hand.
"So that's his Sacred Gear." Vernal thinks. "I can sense something within that gauntlet. Something powerful. But the gear itself seems incomplete." As Issei gets back on his bike and rides away, Vernal turns around and jumps off the roof and lands on the ground. "Something is about to happen. I can feel it."
"Meow."
Vernal is taken from her thoughts by the sound of a cat meowing. She looks down to see a black cat with golden eyes staring at her. The girl stares at the cat for a few moments before turning around and walking away. Unfortunately, the cat was adamant on following Vernal. Each step the girl took, the cat copied. Vernal stops walking and turns looks at the cat, who simply meows happily with it's tail wagging back and forth. Vernal's left eyebrow twitches before the girl sighs. She then walks away. Knowing that she's being followed.
At home, Vernal was instantly met by her mother. Just as she was about to question her daughter, Sylia was taken by surprise at their house guest. The woman then proceeded to pick the cat up and hug it like a plush toy. She then asked Vernal where the cat came from to which her daughter said that it simply followed her home. Sylia then asked if Vernal was planning on keeping the cat. Her answer was "Do as you wish." Making Sylia happy. The Angelo family then proceed with dinner with Sylia making a extra plate of fish for the families new pet cat, which was later found out to be female.
The next day, Vernal is seen walking to school. She couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen soon. What that something was, she didn't know. Only that Issei is at the center of it.
"Kya!"
Vernal is taken out of her thoughts by the sound of a girl yelping. She looks to see a young girl with green eyes and long blond hair wearing a dark teal nun outfit with light blue accents, a white veil over her head with light blue accents, a brown satchel slung on her right hip and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern. She also has a silver cross necklace around her neck.
Currently, the girl was spread out on the ground with a suitcase next to her. Said suitcase had it contents spread out on the ground.
"A nun? In Japan?" Vernal thinks with a eyebrow raised.
"Oh no, it looks like I fell down again." The nun says with a sigh. "I'm such a klutz." The nun looks up as her eyes lock on to Vernal. "Ah!" Just as the girl's veil is blown off her head by the wind. Without thinking, Vernal snatches the veil from out of the air.
"Oh!" The nun says. "Thank you miss."
"...Don't mention it." Vernal says as she hands the veil back to the nun.
The nun puts her veil back on before proceeding to put her things back in her suitcase. Vernal glances at the nun's belongings before shrugging her shoulders. She then helps then nun gather her things.
"Oh! You didn't have to miss!" The nun says. Vernal says nothing as she continues to pick up the girl's stuff. Seeing that Vernal is still helping, the nun gives a small smile. "Thank you for your kindness."
"Is everything okay here?"
Vernal and the nun look to see Issei standing behind them in concern.
"Everything's fine." Vernal says. She then glances around at the items still on the ground before looking back at Issei. "Make yourself useful and help."
"O-oh! Right." Issei says. He then helps thr two girl's pick up the nun's belongings. Issei's hands happen to grab on to a pair of the nun's underwear. He would've perved on this if not for the fact that Vernal was right next to him.
After a few more seconds, the nun's suitcase was full again.
"Thank you both very much." The nun says with a bow.
Issei rubbs the back of his head. "It's no problem. Glad to help."
Vernal stares at the two for a moment before turning around. "Well then, I'll let you handle things here Hyoudou." Vernal then walks away.
"P-please wait!" The nun says. Vernal stops and looks back at the nun. "Um... I never got your name."
"...Vernal." The white haired girl says. "Vernal Angelo."
The nun smiles brightly. "Thank you so much for your help Angelo-san. My name is Asia Argento. I pray that we meet again."
Vernal stares at Asia for a moment before turning around and walking away. "Don't be late for school Hyoudou."
"R-right, Vernal-senpai." Issei says.
As Vernal walks to school, she thinks about her encounter with Asia.
"I suppose even I can be foolish sometimes." Vernal thinks. "Still, why would a nun be here in Kuoh? And that power I sensed. There's no mistaking it. A Sacred Gear." Vernal suddenly stops walking. "...Isn't there a abandoned church not far from here?" Vernal's eyes widen slightly before she narrows them. "So that's how it is. Where else would those hoping to get back into gods good graces be hiding?"
Later that night, Vernal is seen walking home after meeting with the Kendo Club. The white haired girl was on a cellphone talking to her mother. Originally, Vernal didn't see the point in owning a cellphone. But, her mother was adamant about it.
"You met a nun?" Sylia asks.
"Yes." Vernal says. "And she possesses a Sacred Gear."
"Really?" Sylia asks. "But what business would a nun have in Kuoh? The church here is abandoned."
"...I believe this is related to the fallen angels." Vernal says. "It's too much of a coincidence."
"A rogue nun, huh?" Sylia asks. "Not the strangest thing I've heard, but still... Did you get a name?"
"Asia Argento." Vernal says.
Over the line, Vernal can hear her mother gasps. Causing Vernal to stop walking.
"...I'm assuming you are familiar with that name?" Vernal asks with a eyebrow raised.
"It can't be." Sylia says in shock. "But, why would she..."
"Mother?" Vernal asks in slight concern.
"Your positive her name was Argento?" Sylia asks in complete seriousness.
"It is." Vernal replies. "What is the importance of that name?"
"Long story." Syila says. "...Listen Vernal, I need you to do something for me."
"...What is it?" Vernal asks.
"I need you to find that girl and bring her here." Sylia says. "If Asia IS involved with the fallen angels, then it can't be good. Find her and bring her home. I'll explain everything when you get back."
"...Understood." Vernal says while closing her eyes.
"Thank you." Sylia says. She then ends the call on her end.
Vernal closes her cellphone before pocketing it. She then searches for the energy she felt from Asia's Sacred Gear. After a few seconds, Vernal opens her eyes as she looks to her left.
"That way." Vernal says before vanishing in a blue flash.
Issei was not having a good night. Earlier today, he told his King that he met a nun. Only for Rias to tell her servant to stay away from Asia because of her affiliation with the church. After that, Issei was told about Stray Devils while helping to exterminate one. He also learned about the Peerage System and what roll he has. A Pawn. Next, Issei was sent out on a request. Only to find out that his client was brutaly murdered by a psychotic priest by the name of Freed Sellzen. Even though the priest was clearly insane, his mental state didn't hamper his skills in combat. And to add on to this already bad day, Issei found out that Asia was in league with Freed, who is working for the fallen angels. The nun even found out that one of her new friends is a devil.
So here Issei is. Injured and about to witness Freed force himself on Asia, who tried to protect her friend regardless of being a devil.
"Asia!" Issei exclaims.
Freed roughly grabs one of Asia's breast, causing the girl to whimper. The rouge priest then rubs his gun on the girl's exposed panties.
"Why shouldn't an upstanding priest do what he wants with a tramp like you?" Freed asks with a sick grin.
Just before Freed is about to go too far, everyone present is surprised to see Vernal suddenly appear in front of them.
Vernal scrunches her nose in disgust. "The smell of blood here is nauseating."
"Vernal-senpai?/Angelo-san?" Issei and Asia asks.
Vernal looks at Hyoudou. She then raises an eyebrow. "Why am I not surprised to see you in such a state again, Hyoudou?" Vernal sighs while putting a hand to her forehead. "How pathetic."
"Who the hell are you?" Freed asks.
Vernal looks at Freed before looking at Asia. Seeing her current state, Vernal can't help but scowl at the priest. "Disgusting. And I thought priest frowned upon such behavior."
"Huh?!" Freed says. "Who the fuck are you to tell me how to do my job, ya shitty devil?"
"Angelo-san is a devil too?" Asia asks with a gasps.
"Angelo?" Freed asks. "What kind of devil has THAT for a name? It's blasphemy!" Freed then leers at Vernal, who is stoned faced. "Although, this could be my lucky day." Freed glances at Issei. "Once I get rid of that trash over there, I can have a threesome with a nun and a devil bitch with tits the size of melons! Then I'll kill her!"
"I've had just about enough of this foolishness." Vernal says.
"Oh?" Freed asks mockingly. "You wanna play?" Freed lunges at Vernal with his sword of light at the ready. "Then bring it, cow tits!"
Just before Vernal can make a move, a red magic circle appears in between her an Freed. A red and black blast shoots out of the circle and Freed is forced to quickly dodge it. As Freed recovers, Rias, Akeno, Kiba and Koneko appear from the magic circle.
"You guys!" Issei says.
"Ara ara." Akeno says as she looks around. "This place is gross. Talk about a nasty mess."
Freed looks at the new arrivals. "Hell yeah! Looks like we got a good old fashioned gangbang here!"
A sword suddenly appears in Kiba's hands as he takes a stance.
"You're done here." Kiba says as he glances at Issei before looking back at Freed. "Sorry to disappoint you, but he's one of us."
"Oh, I'm far from disappointed!" Freed says. "So what's the deal here? Your the pitcher and he's the catch?"
Kiba frowns. "For a priest, you've got quite the foul mouth."
"Sicko." Koneko says with a frown.
Rias finally takes notice of Vernal. "Angelo-san? What are you doing here?"
"That's...none of your concern." Vernal says. "You should focus on getting Hyoudou out of here."
Rias frowns but relents as she tends to Issei. "Are you alright?"
"...Sorry." Issei says with his head bowed. "I let you down again."
Issei is taken by surprise as Rias tenderly puts her hand on the boys cheek.
"I'm the one who should apologize." Rias says. "I sent you into the hands of an Exorcist without knowing. There was a barrier in place a moment ago, so we couldn't find you." Rias glances at Vernal. "Luckily, she was here."
Asia looks on as Rias treats Issei with kindness. As a nun, she was taught that devils were evil creatures. To see them now, acting so kind towards others. Asia was shocked to say the least. However, her thoughts were interrupted when Freed decided to kick her while she's down.
"You were supposed to make the barrier you bitch!" Freed exclaims.
"Asia!" Issei excalims in worry.
As Freed proceeds to kick Asia again, he pauses when he feels a tap on his shoulder. He looks back just in time to see a fist impacting on his face. Causing the rouge priest to fly back into a wall with a grunt of pain. As he brushes he cheek with a hiss, Freed looks to see Vernal was the one who punched him.
"Damn bitch hits like a fright train." Freed snarls.
"I didn't even see her move." Kiba says in shock.
Vernal bends down and raises Asia to her feet. The older white haired girl then takes off her shoulder cape and puts it around Asia to cover her tattered top. Vernal then turns to Issei as she puts a hand on Asia's shoulder.
"She'll be safe." Vernal says. She then glances at Rias. "I suggest you take Hyoudou and leave." Vernal glances at Freed before looking upward. "His backup has arrived." Vernal and Asia then vanish in a blue flash.
"Asia!" Issei exclaims.
"Well...shit." Freed says in slight worry. "That's not good."
Koneko perks up as she senses something. "Bucho, fallen angels incoming."
Just as Koneko said, a portal appears in the ceiling.
"Angelo-senpai must've sensed them coming." Kiba says.
"Akeno, prepare the jump." Rias says.
"Right." Akeno says as she prepares the teleportation circle.
Koneko throws a shelf at Freed as the others gather to the circle.
"Wait!" Issei says. "What about Asia?"
"I'm not sure what Angelo-san wants with her, but we'll just have to trust her for now." Rias says.
Rias and her group vanish in the magic cirlce.
Moments later, Vernal is seen sitting in a chair at her home. Sylia was sitting next to Asia on a sofa with the families new pet laying down next to them.
"Thank you so much for bringing her here Vernal." Sylia says.
"Perhaps now you can enlighten me as to why this girl is so important to you?" Vernal asks.
"Yes. Of course." Syila says.
"Um..." Asia says in confusion.
"Your name is Asia, yes?" Sylia asks.
"Y-yes." Asia stutters. "Asia Argento."
Syila smiles sadly. "You may not know this, but I was a old friend of your parents."
Asia gasps in shock. "You knew my momma and papa?"
Sylia nods. "Yes. And I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you growing up. Your parents and I...grew apart. And we didn't stay in contact with one another. Had I known they were having a daughter, I would've reached out to them." Syila bows her head. "I hope you can forgive me."
"Y-you don't need to apologize." Asia says while waving her hands. "Sure my childhood had it's up's and downs, but I always believed that things would get better. And besides, you didn't know I existed until now." Asia smiles. "You don't have to apologize to me. Honest."
Syila smiles. "Aren't you sweet." Syila then surprises Asia by hugging her in a similar manner to hugging Vernal. "Keep this up and I may have to spoil you like I do Nally-chan!"
"S-Sylia-san!" Asia stammers.
"Mother. She's not a plush toy." Vernal says dryly.
"Oh?" Syila asks with a mischievous smirk. "Feeling jealous are we?"
Vernal sighs. "I believe it is best that we get to bed. It's the weekend and there's a lot to discuss tomorrow."
"Good point." Syila says with a pout while reluctantly letting Asia go. She then stands up. "Follow me Asia-chan. Let's get you some clothes and a nice hot bath."
"Okay." Asia says as she follows Syila out the hall.
Vernal turns her attention to her mother's new cat. "Now that that's settled, I think it's about time you told me who you really are."
The black cat tilts her head in confusion.
"You can drop the facade." Vernal says. "I knew you weren't a normal cat the moment I laid eyes on you."
The cat stares at Vernal, who simply stares back. After a few seconds, the cat shockingly gives a mirthful giggle.
"You're smarter than I gave you credit for nya." The black "cat" says. "Must be another reason why I felt myself drawn to you."
A large puff of smoke envelopes the cat. As the smoke clears, Vernal can't help but raise an eyebrow at the sight in front of her. Gone is the cat. In it's place is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair with split bangs and hazel-gold eyes with cat-like pupils. Her attire consists of a black kimono, a yellow obi, a set of golden beads, and an ornately detailed headband. The kimono features a red interior and it is open at her shoulders, giving view to her large breasts. She also has a pair of black cat ears and two black tails.
"It's nice to meet you Nally-chan~." The woman says with a seductive purr. "I'm Kuroka. The Black Cat."
Vernal stares at Kuroka for a moment. "...This is...curious."
And done! Sorry if this chapter seemed rushed. Really wanted to get to this point. So, Vernal has officially met Rias and the rest of the ORC, with Issei joining and being informed of his new life as a devil. Vernal telling Rias basically not to get in her way and there won't be any problems. Vernal also sees Issei awaken his Sacred Gear before adopting a stray cat who later turns out to be Kuroka. Then Vernal meeting Asia for the first time, saving her from Freed and bringing her to Syila, who was an old friend of the girl's parents.
Next chapter will be Vernal unleashing her power against Raynare and her group. In case you were wondering why Vernal has only been observing them until now, THIS is what I was waiting for.
Now then, I've got a question for all of you. Should Vernal have a Familiar? I'm gonna set up a poll to decided. The choices will be either Griffon and Shadow or Tiamat, who I will be using the Fate Grand Order model. I'm kinda on the fence about Nightmare. I just don't see him fitting in for what I have planned. Anyway, the poll will be up some time tomorrow and will stay up for a few weeks.

Sylia is a beautiful woman whose looks contradict her real age. She has long white hair, blue eyes and a well-endowed figure. Sylia wears a violet blouse with a brooch, a white skirt, thigh-high white boots and black tights.
Sylia is cheerful and possesses a childlike personality, which is evidenced when she addresses her daughter as "Nally-chan." She almost always has a smile on her face regardless of the situation. Even when dishing out punishment. However, there are rare moments when Sylia is serious. Mainly when it involves her daughters safety and the supernatural. While she may be a fantastic cook, Sylia is a horrible driver. Whenever she is behind the wheel, buckle up, have a barf bag on standby and pray.
