"Whatever it is you're planning it's futile." Dartz taunted. "The Great Leviathan is far beyond your pathetic creatures."
"That's where you're wrong Dartz." Yusei mentioned holding up a card. "I sacrifice Stardust Dragon in order to activate the spell card Synchro Limiter; this decreases the level of every Synchro Monster on the field by the level of a Synchro Monster I banish, and I pick my level six Turbo Warrior."
"Decreasing the level of… wait is he planning on summoning that monster?" Yami asked in shock only for the Signers to all smile.
"Alright, thanks to Yusei's spell card I'll tune my level two Life Stream Dragon…" Leo started.
"With my level one Ancient Fairy Dragon…" Luna continued.
"My level two Daigusto Tornado Dragon…" Angel added.
"My level two Black-Winged Dragon…" Crow grinned.
"My level two Red Dragon Archfiend…" Jack called.
"My level one Black Rose Dragon…" Akiza stated.
"And my level two Celestial Dragon-Quasar." Sky finished confidently.
"When the gathering stars become one, a new bond will illuminate the future! Become the path its light shines upon! Limit Over Accel Synchro! The light of evolution, Shooting Quasar Dragon!" Yusei chanted as Life Stream Dragon became two gold rings and the six other dragons became a grand total of ten stars.
A blinding flash of light enveloped the area before fading to reveal Shooting Quasar Dragon roaring as it hovered above Hermos, Critias, and Timaeus.
"Merging seven dragons into a single creature?" Dartz questioned in shock before smirking. "Well summon whatever creature you want, in the presence of the Great Leviathan none of your monsters will make any difference."
"That's where you're wrong Dartz." Yami told him. "This new dragon will help us destroy the Great Leviathan."
"Shooting Quasar Dragon can attack one time for every Synchro Material I used to summon it. Attack Dartz!" Yusei called as Shooting Quasar Dragon roared again and seven orbs appeared with the dragons inside them before they all flew towards the Great Leviathan's head.
"Weren't you listening, your dragon is powerless when compared to the power of…" Dartz started only to notice the seven dragons in the orbs were heading directly towards him. "What… No!"
The seven dragons roared before flying directly into the Great Leviathan's head and striking Dartz.
"Did it work?" Joey asked nervously.
As if answering his question, the smoke cleared revealing the Great Leviathan only it was roaring before a purple orb appeared in its mouth and it fired a massive blast into the sky.
"Does that answer your question?" Kaiba frowned. "Your big attack didn't even scratch that thing."
"You're wrong, the attack did work." Critias told him. "Take a close look at its head."
Hearing that they all looked at the Great Leviathan's head.
"Dartz, he's gone!" Angel cried in shock.
"That takes care of one problem, but what are we supposed to do about the out-of-control giant monster?" Joey asked nervously just as the Great Leviathan fired another massive blast that Shooting Quasar Dragon barely managed to avoid.
Seeing that Timaeus, Hermos, and Critias all exchanged a glance before nodding and charging towards the Great Leviathan as a group.
"What are you doing, it's too dangerous!" Luna cried.
"We'll be fine, we fought the Great Leviathan millennia ago." Hermos told her.
"Besides, we aren't facing him alone. We're fighting alongside the dragon your friends called to the battle." Critias added.
Yami closed his eyes only to frown. "How long can the four of you hold off the Great Leviathan?"
Timaeus looked at Yami before closing his good eye. "You don't have to worry about us, just make sure you get them."
Yami nodded at that before turning and running back to the room where they dueled Dartz.
Kaiba watched Yami run off before turning to the Great Leviathan. "So we're just here to buy time for Yugi to get the Egyptian God Cards, "
"At this point, they're our best bet to take this thing down." Sky pointed out. "We all saw how powerful they are."
"She has a point Kaiba." Joey mentioned. "I might have used some of my monsters, but I still have a few more. Thousand Dragon and Gearfried the Iron Knight attack!"
"He's got the right idea, Blackwing Armor Master and Blackwing – Silverwind the Ascendant help them out!" Crow called.
The four new monsters attacked the Great Leviathan only for it to completely ignore the attacks and fire a massive blast towards Shooting Quasar Dragon instead as it barely managed to dodge the blast.
"Just throw every monster we have left at this thing; we need to buy Yugi as much time as possible." Jack said quickly.
The other Signers all nodded in agreement as they summoned more of their monsters only for the Great Leviathan to turn towards them and roar shattering the monsters instantly.
"This is bad, what are we supposed to do now?" Joey asked nervously just as a bright light appeared above them.
"Don't worry, we've come to help." a voice Joey and Kaiba recognized mentioned as hundreds of Duel Spirits led by the Dark Magician Girl descended from the sky to oppose the Great Leviathan.
"Luna, are those all Duel Spirits?" Leo asked in awe. "There's so many of them."
Luna's eyes were wide seeing them before she just nodded. "Yeah, they are."
"The Great Leviathan is a danger to your world and the Spirit World." Dark Magician Girl told them. "We can't stand by without doing something to help you all."
"We appreciate the help." Akiza mentioned. "With all of us working together we should be able to last long enough for Yugi to get the Egyptian God Cards."
"I hope you're right, because I have a bad feeling things are about to get a lot worse." Yusei mentioned as the Great Leviathan roared at the group again.
(Dartz has been destroyed thanks to the Shooting Quasar Dragon but the Great Leviathan is still a dangerous threat. Next chapter Yami will locate the three Egyptian God Cards and attempt to destroy the Great Leviathan. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
