Prologue:
BAM
Sailor Moon ducked down behind her shelter rock again, "When I first started doing this, I never thought that we would have to be fighting humans."
Pluto sighed, "It is an unfortunate fact that some humans are as bad or worse than demons, when it comes to the evil they can cause."
BOOOOOM
A red-headed young woman rolled her eyes from her spot near them, "That is probably why that idiotic older version of yourself did what she did. What better way to keep humanity in line than mass-murder and brain-'washing' the survivors?"
Pluto rolled her eyes, "You know she had good intentions."
BOOM
The red-head peeked from behind the pillar she was using as cover, "Listen hear you blockhead."
BAMBAMBAMBAMBAM
Pluto raised her eyebrow, "I am listening."
The woman rolled her eyes, "The highway to Hell is paved with good intentions."
Moon was close to sobbing, "Isn't there some way we could fix this."
KABLAM
Pluto shook her head, "As far as I can tell…no. There is no fixing this timeline. Based on what I have seen, these humans have been planning this for as long as you have been around as Sailor Moon, Princess."
The woman sighed, "There is a way to fix this, but it will require a lot of power."
KABOOOOM
Pluto raised her delicate green eyebrow, "Based on your tone it will be more than your body can handle."
The woman nodded with a defiant smirk, "I haven't lost yet, and if I can actually accelerate their plans in the past I may be able to prevent all our friends from kicking the bucket."
WOOSH
Pluto narrowed her eyes, "By how much?"
The woman did some quick calculations in her head, "Ten years should be adequate."
Pluto growled, "That would be too long, you didn't even meet us till 5 years ago, and you didn't reach your current level of power and control until last year."
BOOOOMWOOSH
The woman nodded, "But you said that those demon orbs they are using for power are compatible with my body, right?"
Moon covered her mouth with her hand, "NOOO!"
Pluto nodded gravely, "You know what you are saying right?"
The woman nodded as she started to glow a brilliant yellow, her eyes going from their standard blue to blood red, "If I must sacrifice my humanity for mankind to be saved, so be it."
They both watched, one with growing horror and the other with resignation as their friend Ranma Saotome stepped into the firing lines of human mages and gunmen. Her body was glowing brighter and brighter as she gathered power to herself in ever tightening waves. Her clothes bleached white, and she became still brighter until it was painful for others to look at.
Pluto sighed, "Godspeed my friend and good luck."
Ranma smirked, "I never lose." She became almost as bright as the sun, pieces of her flesh and clothing starting to peel away and disintegrate from her power as she took one one last breath, "CHAOS…"
"STOP HER!"
"SHE IS GOING TO KILL US ALL!"
Ranma had a tear go down her face as she took one last look at the face of her dead son, so much like her, "…CONTROL!"
Everything turned white and calm in an instant, time and space had come to have no meaning. The world had stopped. Everything had broken, and then time itself shattered. A small butterfly popped into existence and beat its wings. Chaos now muddled the past of the future. The world faded back into existence, or maybe it was that what once was no longer could be so the Universe reasserted itself to try to restore balance. And in the middle of it all, a tear had fallen on top of one Ranma Saotome's head on his way home from school, causing him to look up to see if it was starting to rain, because after all, rain was a problem for those cursed by Jusenkyo.
