Bloom tunes out most of what Daphne's saying to the other royal families, instead analyzing them. Stella's father seems warm, if stern, and she seems about as relaxed as she can be in this situation - if confused and anxious, though less so than literally everyone else bar Princess Aisha of Andros.

Speaking of whom, the Princess of Andros seems to be the only other one that's even remotely not hanging on Daphne's every word - point of fact, she's studying her. Bloom keeps her face carefully blank, even as she meets Aisha's gaze head-on…and holds it, refusing to look away or even blink. After about ten seconds, Aisha flashes her the barest hint of a smirk and looks away - interesting, they'll have to talk later it seems.

Princess Krystal of Linphea looks…sweet, Bloom supposes would be one word for it, as well as Princess Galetaea of Melody.

Another word would be innocent.

Another, less polite word would be naïve. Like they've had a perfect life, been waited on hand and foot for as long as they can remember. Soft, innocent, and no threat to either of them. Their parents look much the same - older, yes, a bit harder…but not actively-seeking an opening or opportunity to kill them or anything.

King Cryos seems…cold, distant. From what Daphne's said, Cryos wasn't King of Zenith when the war was going on - Heir to the throne, yes, but not King yet. Either the former rulers died in the war or retired, but Bloom's betting on the latter since he didn't bring a wife…but what she'd guess is an advisor or guard, with gray lining his purple hair and lines showing on his face.

King Erendor, sitting beside him, looks stern and uncompromising…though, the way his fingers are currently leaving gouges on his legs enough that she can smell the blood says he's more affected than he lets on - Daphne did say their father was best friends with Erendor and Radius. Looks like that's still true. Samara, on the other hand, looks kinder - and Bloom does not know where Sky gets the blonde hair, considering his father's got dark brown to the point of black hair and his mother's a red-head.

"I think my sister would be better at explaining how she broke the curse the Witches cast on me, King Cryos."

Bloom raises an eyebrow, and asks "Excuse me?" Because Daphne was very specific on not telling them about the Source of Sirenix. So was Omnia. "Who else was stripped of their body by the Witches? I can't think of any other reason why you'd want to learn that particular counter-spell."

King Cryos says "The Curse the Witches used was something entirely new, never recorded before in any book. Lysliss created it specifically to take Princess Daphne out of the fight, from what Valtor told us in his interrogation before he was sentenced to Omega. And yet…you broke it."

"And you want to know how…why? So you can do the same if that curse is ever used on anyone else should they miraculously return?" At their horrified expressions, she dryly adds "Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, everyone. People coming back from the dead seems to be a running theme in my life, and not just my sister. As to the spell…so very sorry to disappoint everyone, but even if I gave each of you a copy of my notes…you wouldn't be able to cast it. It wasn't just Fairy Magic I used, you see."

King Radius incredulously asks "You got a Witch to help you?!" He's not a bigot who stereotypes all Witches because of the actions of Belladonna, Lysliss, and Tharma, but Witches and Fairies almost never get along unless its an emergency. And breaking a curse on a spirit? …Not exactly an emergency.

Bloom raises an eyebrow at him, and neutrally says "Not directly. Mirta showed me where a book of Curses that proved most helpful was, though." And she's not seeing why its a problem, really.

King Erendor asks "And why did a book of curses prove most helpful? You wanted to break a curse, not make a curse!" The Fairy of the Dragon Flame is the only Fairy that can't go Dark, literally cannot have their magic come from any other source, but that doesn't make the revelation any less alarming.

Bloom shrugs, saying "I needed to know what I was working with, and Lysliss herself wasn't exactly around to question. So i turned to the next best thing, a copy of an ancient book of Curses that apparently Lysliss was all into in her time. Why?"

Daphne puts a hand on Bloom's shoulder, saying "I believe my sister has made her point, King Erendor. Just as I believe you meant no offense in your question. As it is, even if you could cast my sister's spell, the effort would likely kill you in the process. It took an immense amount of energy, as I'm sure you felt."

Everyone nods at that, that backlash was felt across the entire Dimension. It blew out windows, it made plants grow what would usually take years, it metaphorically and in some cases literally knocked almost everyone to the ground…and it blew history apart in the process. Ripped the rug out from under everyone.

Bloom's suddenly hit with a wave of exhaustion, and inwardly curses - that was from Daphne, not her. She's getting worn out, which means she needs to head back to the infirmary now - she's suddenly collapsed a number of times already, apparently re-learning a body's signals is a confusing mess some of the time.

Daphne doesn't even need to look to know what kind of expression Bloom has on her face right now - it's the kind that says 'I will Stick you to a bed if I have to.' She's done it, to, her stubbornness winning out over Daphne's that particular discussion. Giving everyone else a polite smile, she says "Apologies, everyone, but it seems I have to return to the Alfea Infirmary for the time being. Lysliss was particularly vicious with her Curse, and the after-effects are hard to shake off."

Translation: she stripped me of my body, and re-learning having one is an incredibly slow process.

At Bloom's motion to get up, Daphne raises a hand and says "I'll be fine, Bloom."

Bloom's expression abruptly freezes, even as she asks "You sure about that?"

Her tone of voice is mild, but Stella instantly recognizes Bloom's doubtfulness after living with her for about three months now. She's pretty sure she's the only one that can tell how worried Bloom suddenly is, to. The red-head hides it very well, but she does have tells. Usually, they involve her turning into a dragon when it comes to the object of her worry, not letting them out of her sight, and being all-too willing to kill anyone who even pokes at whoever or whatever she's worried about. She can already see the metaphorical scales starting to sprout.

Daphne nods her head, saying "Yes, I'm sure. We're in the heart of Alfea, its class time, and from what I've heard a third of the school is terrified of you."

Bloom rolls her eyes, and says "Oh please, just because the lot of them have never had to bloody well fight for their lives and I have doesn't mean I'm trying to scare the glitter and sparkles out of them. I'm partnered with Stella in Self-Defense class, and you don't see her sweat, squeak, and run the other way whenever I walk by."

Stella winces, rolls a shoulder that's still sore after the last class, and says "I'm pretty sure you hold back, Bloom. And you creamed Grizelda that first day. Also, I live with you - I'm fairly certain I'm desensitized to how terrifying you can be without any effort whatsoever." She clearly remembers being utterly terrified when Bloom ripped that chunk of the floor out of the ground the first day in class

Bloom rolls her eyes, then glances at Hedwig. Daphne shakes her head, saying "Keep her here, Bloom. It's a ten-minute walk back." Honestly, she knows her sister is worried, knows its for a good reason - a number of good reasons that Daphne's never going to be able to argue - but still…she thinks Bloom might be going a little overboard. Just a little.

After Daphne's out the door, with a promise to call or text Bloom when she gets there, Bloom's abruptly faced with everyone's stares - Stella, at least, looks sympathetic to her sudden problem. The combined attention of all the major royal families in the Magical Dimension is not something to take lightly, and even for Bloom it's a bit unnerving. Not the worst she's ever had to deal with, but still.

After a minute, King Cryos asks "What did Princess Daphne mean when she mentioned after-effects? Is she in some kind of danger from the curse?"

Bloom raises an eyebrow at the older man, not saying anything for a moment, then says "As to the curse, no, she's in no danger of it coming back. I made sure of it. However, she was stripped of her body for a decade and a half until about…a month ago, give or take a few days. Not to be rude, but use that logic that Zenith is so renowned for and take a guess."

They trade questions and answers back and forth, with Bloom making everyone else slightly unnerved - little things, the way she's suddenly twitchy and how her magic is fluctuating more and more as time passes. And how she's getting more and more irritable as the minutes tick by, reflected in her increasingly-snappish answers.

Stella clears her throat finally, when it starts looking like all-out war is about to break out in the room, and asks "Bloom, is everything alright?"

Bloom looks like she's about to snap altogether, then takes a deep breath, holds it for a moment, and lets it out slowly through her mouth before saying "No, Stella, I'm not. What I am is waiting for something to happen. I don't know what, or when, but-" Bloom doesn't get to finish what she was saying, getting cut off suddenly via collapsing to the floor.

Stella bites back one of Bloom's curses, just knowing what her father would do - especially since its in front of all the other royals! - and gets to Bloom's side with a small spell. The red-head is lying on her side on the ground, gasping for breath and holding her head with one hand. "Daphne…"

Stella swallows, going pale as a sheet, and quietly prays to the Dragon the elder Fyre Princess just took a spill somewhere.

"They took my sister…"

And cue the roaring and fire-breath.

Bloom snarls "I'm gonna bloody well kill those three, Faragonda's bloody rules be damned! Alright, meeting's over!" She's on her feet in a flash, one hand already holding her wand and the other making a waving motion.

BAM!

Bloom's already out the twelve-person sized hole in the wall where the door used to be before the dust even settles, leaving footprints scorched into the floor as she goes.

There's a moment of silence, with all the other royals staring out the crater Bloom effortlessly made with just a wave of her hand, and Aisha sums up all their thoughts by saying "Well, three ladies are goners. Stella, Sky, want to explain the rest of what she just said?"

"Aisha," Stella says, "I haven't got a clue." What rules did Faragonda impose on her? It's the first Stella's heard of it.

AN: Hey! Next chapter is up, and I hope you like it! How fast do you think the Trix are going to work? And do you think they'll see the resemblance, or will Bloom be the one to tell them right before she rips their heads off? I just couldn't resist making them that stupid.

Anyway, enjoy! More chapters coming soon!

PS. Before anyone asks about Faragonda's rules, I'll get to it next chapter. Nothing big, really. Promise.
