Author's Note
It's been a long time hasn't it? And I definitely have not been able to get back to this story as I was hoping to in the past, but I am here now to finish this story (before this new decade passes).
However, since taking a break from this story and taking another look at the characters, I'm not happy with how the story was previously written. Though I have received many lovely reviews complementing my writing and I appreciate every single one of them, I think improvements need to be made. There are several plot points that need to be altered or removed for the story to make sense and follow the path that I want it to go in. My OC also has several improvements that need to be made for her to be more of a believable character. I have done a lot of thinking on her drives, motivations, faults, and history and I need to make sure that they are properly represented/implemented. I want to make her a little less love focused as she was in the beginning chapters. I just hope it makes her more believable, but not unlikable. Please let me know if she starts to be! Additionally, I'm not a perfect writer, but I have some improvements that I would like to make on the wording of the story.
With that being said, I will be going back to edit my chapters… again. If you're familiar with my story, this is not the first time I will be doing this, but I hope that it will be the last. In effort to keep myself accountable, I will have this note up with the list of my chapters and when they have been edited. I will remove this author's note after all these edits have been made and continue with the story.
There might be some transitions between the new writings and the old where the characters are not acting as they previously would, or speak in a different way that I am changing. This will probably be an issue until all of the chapters are edited and I apologize. You can continue as far into the story as you want, I appreciate the feedback if my changes are enjoyable or not. Honestly any specific feedback is nice. (If it's about my spelling, I'm not surprised. I've been bad at that my whole life and sometimes I don't catch it.)
