Kayla Abaven slept soundly in her quarters, her sheets wrapped around her as she was curled up and motionless, breathing ever so softly. Just then, a signal came from the cockpit, waking her from her stupor, the young inquisitor sat up and rubbed her tired eyes, she hopped out of bed and walked up to her seat to find out what was the problem. When she looked out of her window, she saw that she was faced with nothing but the entire galaxy in front of her face.
"That's right, I forgot that I set my ship to stop after… after… uh, I forgot that I set the autopilot to come out of hyperspace after I was a good enough distance from the empire," she thought.
Kayla went into her quarters, she changed out of her sleepwear and threw on her inquisitor robes, boots, gloves, and clipped her lightsabers to her belt. Kayla went back to her seat and look at her navigation computer and looked to find the closet planet.
"There has to be a place that the old Sith Empire has conquered before my time," she thought, "someplace they've conquered that might have a few old secrets I'd be able to learn. Maybe a few old holocrons containing secrets from the Sith of the old or just something where I can learn to get strong enough in order to defeat Darth Vader. I've grown tired of kissing his boots all of the damn time."
As Kayla looked through her navigation computer to search for a particular planet to land on, she stumbled upon a planet that caught her interest.
"Erus," it read.
"Erus?" she thought.
Kayla looked through the information on the planet.
"A planet of unkempt, unnatural Force energy? Once owned by a powerful Sith Lord named Darth Ziath," it read.
"An ancient planet owned by a Sith? Incredible! I think I've just struck gold!" Kayla thought with excitement, "maybe there might be a holocron or two that I can look through."
Kayla turned her ship and headed for Erus, unaware of the dangers that she would soon encounter upon her arrival…
Author's note: Decided to clean up an old fanfic and put it out there for people, both to bring some content to my page since Assassin's Creed is still frozen, and because I've been cycling through projects while also struggling to balance my writing life with my work life
