Bonus chapter.
Artemis
Artemis and Benji made their way to their room in silence and she could feel the nerves coming of Benji in waves, which only added to the nerves she was feeling herself.
She loved Benji, that was something she could deny no longer, and she wanted what was going to happen tonight more than anything. She was just so scared of giving him something that had been so precious to her for her whole life, and then she would lose him. She didn't know how she would survive that.
She hadn't realized that she had been wringing her hands until Benji grabbed them and brought them up to his lips. "Artemis, we don't have to do this if you are not ready. We can wait, you are worth it. So please baby, don't feel like you have to do anything that you don't want to do."
She looked up at him and the look on his face eased her worries a little. "I want to do this, I'm just scared. What if you change your mind after and I lose you? I thought that I would be scared of the act itself, and while that scares me a little, it's what happens after." She could hear her voice tremble as she spoke.
Benji placed his fingers under her chin and lifted her head so that she was looking him in his eyes. "I need you to hear me when I say this. I love you. I have never in my life been in love until I met you. I am going to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to have a family with you. I want to walk through this crazy life with you by my side. I understand your fears and if when we make it to our room you change your mind and say no, please know that I will understand, and respect your decision, and I will still love you as much as I do now."
He leaned down and kissed her softly, then pulled back as the elevator doors opened onto their floor. Her stomach flipped a little knowing they were a few feet from their room, but knowing that he would love her and would wait for her made her feel better.
They walked hand in hand silently to their room and when she looked up at Benji she noticed that he looked just as nervous as she did. It hadn't occurred to her that this could be as nerve-wracking for him as it was for her. She squeezed his hand reassuringly, which made him smile down at her but the nerves never left his face.
He took the key card out of his pocket and opened the door, the sight that greeted them was incredible. The whole suite was covered in candles and red amaranth flowers mixed with white roses. She felt the tears burn her eyes at how amazing it all looked, and the fact that he had filled the room with the flower that had always meant so much to her made her love him so much more.
She walked further into the suite just staring in awe at the beauty before her as the tears flowed down her cheeks. She never believed she would ever experience anything like this, it all felt like a dream she never wanted to wake up from.
She turned to Benji desperate to thank him for what he had done for her, but when she turned he wasn't stood behind her as she expected. She looked down to see that he was kneeling behind her holding open a box that was lit up to show her a stunning rose gold emerald cut diamond ring.
She couldn't breathe or think, she just stood silently crying while Benji smiled up at her. "I know that you worry about me changing my mind, and leaving you, but you have to know I have loved you from the first time I saw you. I loved you so much that the next day I bought this ring ready for the day I would be lucky enough to win your heart." He laughed and shook his head then continued.
"I didn't even know if I would ever be lucky enough to have you love me the way I love you, but I wished, and prayed, and hoped every day that you would, and I held on to this ring for that day so that I could make you mine before you changed your mind about me." He laughed again and she joined in thinking how crazy it was that they had both been scared of the same thing.
She fell to her knees in front of him and placed her hands on either side of his face as she sobbed. "I would never leave you. I have spent my whole life never thinking I wanted to be in love, but then I met you and you changed everything. I fought it because I wanted to protect myself, and also because I didn't think I would be who I was if I didn't hold on to my virginity. You have changed my life, and as scary as the future now feels it's also a future I wake every day feeling excited about."
Benji moved forward a little still on his knees and kissed her softly before speaking over her lips. "I want to wake every day next to you. I want to have babies with you. I want to build a life with you. I want to marry you, please Artemis, will you make my dreams and wishes and prayers come true and be my wife?"
She didn't need to think she already knew the answer, and if she was honest with herself she had known that she wanted to be his wife from the day they met. "Yes, yes of course I will." Benji took in a deep breath and instantly relaxed as he grabbed her to him and wrapped her in his arms.
She couldn't stop the tears from falling as she laughed and sobbed into his neck soaking his shirt which he didn't seem to mind. He pulled back from the embrace and kissed her with so much passion that she couldn't breathe.
When the kiss finished he grabbed her left hand and slid the stunning ring on her finger, which brought fresh tears. "It's so beautiful, I can't believe you have had this for so long."
He shrugged his shoulders and smiled shyly, "I just knew the second I saw you that there was no one else for me. It was either you or no one." She kissed him again before whispering over his lips.
"Take me to bed. I want you to make love to me." Benji pulled back a little and from the look on his face, it was so that he could be certain that she was ready. "Please Benji I want you." Before she could get the last word out he was stood and she was in his arms as he walked through the room of flowers and candles.
When they entered the bedroom Artemis sucked in a deep breath as she looked around the room. The bed was covered in rose petals both red and white, around the room were vases filled with the same flowers that filled the other room the scent was intoxicating and added to the romance and beauty of what Benji had done.
He slowly lowered her to the floor but never took his hands of her holding her around the waist. She felt her heart beating faster as he slowly lifted her top over her head and throwing it to the floor. He leaned forward and started to kiss her neck, gently biting it as he worked his way up to her ear.
She visibly shivered as her skin broke out into goosebumps and her head fell back as she moaned with pleasure. Sure they had kissed a lot but this felt different. He slowly lowered to the floor kissing her body as he did.
She looked down at him as he smiled up at her and his hands moved to the waistband of the leather trousers she was wearing. He slowly unbuttoned them and pulled them down her legs. The pace that he was undressing her was only adding to how turned on she was becoming, and she could feel the evidence of how he made her feel dampen her panties.
She stepped out of her trousers and at the same time he pulled off her heels so that all she was left in was lace panties as the top she had been wearing didn't allow for a bra. She had never been this naked in front of a man before and it made her feel incredibly vulnerable and painfully shy.
He hooked his fingers into her panties at her hips never taking his eyes off her, but knowing that in a second he was about to see part of her body that she had held sacred and untouched for countless lifetimes made this moment so overwhelming that she closed her eyes.
"Baby, open your eyes, I want you to see how beautiful your body is to me." The softness and love she heard in his voice had her eyes open immediately. "Good girl." He pulled her panties down her legs and moved his head forward to place a soft kiss on the soft curls that hid her core from him.
She had never even touched herself in a sexual way, so to have someone else touching her there was so overwhelming. She stepped out of her panties and as soon as she did Benji stood and slowly walked her backward until the back of her knees hit the bed.
He slowly pushed her down so that she was sat on the bed. "Scoot back baby, lie against the pillows." She did as she was told, thankful that he was telling her what to do as she had no idea.
She lay back trying desperately not to hide her body from his hungry gaze, any thoughts of hiding herself quickly flew out of the window as she watched Benji start to take his clothes off. Her mouth was completely dry when he opened each of the buttons of his shirt revealing what she already knew were washboard abs covered with a light dusting of dark hair.
She had watched him often enough when he was by the pool and memorized every inch of his body that was on display. Knowing that tonight she was going to see what had always been hidden from her eyes had her almost panting with a mixture of excitement, nerves, and a little fear.
When he unbuttoned his trousers she couldn't take her eyes off what was slowly being revealed to her as he pulled down both his trousers and underwear at the same time. The second that he stood up what she saw had her trying to move backward and away in fear.
"Relax baby, we don't have to do this if you're not ready." Benji was in front of her but she couldn't stop staring at what was between his legs.
"That won't fit, it's impossible, how do people do this?" She knew how ridiculous she must sound to him and she fully expected him to laugh at her, but instead, he reached out to stroke her cheek. She looked up to see him looking at her like she was his entire world and she couldn't help leaning into his hand.
"Baby I promise you I will make it feel good, remember sweetheart, babies come out of there so I promise you I will fit. I know the first time it will hurt a little but I will make sure you are ready and I will make sure it will feel amazing. If it gets to be too much you can tell me to stop and I will, and we can try again another day. I just want you to be comfortable, sweetheart." She took a deep shaky breath and gave him a small smile.
"Do you want to try?" She nodded knowing that she really did want to try, she wanted to give him every part of her.
"I want to try." He smiled at her and placing his hand between her breasts, he slowly pushed her so that she was laying down. Her breast shook a little with every breath she took as he slowly worked his way down her body.
He moved down to one of her breasts and took the nipple into his mouth. The shock and pleasure the contact created had her hips lifting and her hands grabbing for his hair. He placed a hand on her hip pushing down gently and chuckling around the nipple he was nibbling gently on.
He released her nipple and kissed his way over to her other nipple inflicting the same delicious torture as he had subjected the other to, and it made her core ache almost painfully. She moaned and pulled on his hair and opened her legs wider suddenly wanting more.
He let the nipple go with a little pop and kissed his way down and over her stomach, then moved further down stroking through the soft curls until he sucked on something that pulled a scream from deep inside of her. She knew what it was, she just didn't know how it would feel to be touched like this.
Her legs began to shake as he sucked harder and harder, flicking it over and over again with his tongue. His eyes were closed and sweat beaded on his forehead, he looked like he was in pain and it bothered her and distracted her from her own.
"Benji, are you ok? is something wrong?" She was trying to wiggle away scared that he was hurting but he held her still.
"Baby, please stop moving." She did as he asked and lay still stroking his face gently. "I am more than ok beautiful, you feel so incredible and so tight. I just need to stay still for a second or this will be over faster than we want. I can't believe you're mine, you're going to be my wife." He laughed a little, but when he looked up he had tears in his eyes, and her heart soared knowing that they were tears of happiness at her becoming his wife.
As a tear fell from his eyes onto her cheek her own tears spilled from her eyes. This was the most perfect moment of her existence and she never wanted it to end. Slowly Benji began to move in and out, neither of them took their eyes off each other.
He held her head in his hands and lowered his head to kiss her. The kiss matched each gentle thrust. It felt like he was everywhere yet she wanted him closer, she grabbed his waist and pulled hard as she pulled her mouth away from his and buried it in his neck. She could feel the pleasure building and pushing her higher and higher, but she needed more to push her over the edge.
"I need you to go faster baby, please." She didn't need to say anymore as he lifted her so that she was sat up. He grabbed her shoulders and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He pounded into her harder and harder, causing a little bite of pain every time he was in as deep as he could go and that little bite of pain only added to the pleasure, pushing her closer to the edge at a pace that had her head spinning.
She felt Benji reach a hand between them both, never losing pace as he circled the tiny bundle of nerves that the second he made contact had her screaming into his neck as her body trembled out of control. After what felt like hours, neither of them had moved. They had just held onto each other until their breathing was under control and they had both stopped shaking. Benji pulled back and lifted her head that felt like it weighed a ton so that he could look into her eyes.
"How do you feel sweetheart?" She felt her bottom lip quivering as her eyes filled with more tears.
"I feel complete. I feel like before you I was wondering the world lost, always searching for something. I helped others. I fought for others. I brought life into the world and yet nothing I did filled the emptiness inside me. I feel like I have lived a lie, fooling myself into believing I didn't want to fall in love or have a family of my own. You found me and you brought me to life, I don't know how I can ever repay you for that but I promise I will spend my life trying."
She was sobbing now with each word she spoke, as the truth of what this man's love had done for her hit her hard. He held her head as she sobbed into his chest. "You did the same for me, my beauty, so do not think that the feeling isn't mutual. You are my world and I will spend my life showing you how much I love you. Never think that you didn't bring me to life, I was nothing until I met you." He lifted her tear-stained face and kissed her like he wanted to show her through the kiss the truth in his words and she felt it, he loved her as much as she loved him.
After they made love for a second time they were both spent, they had glamoured themselves clean and lay silently in each other's arms, no words were needed at this moment. They had said all that was needed, and they had poured their love into each other through their touches and kisses and tears. The night had been everything they could have both hoped for and so much more.
She smiled as she snuggled into his chest and let sleep take her, knowing that she would wake in the arms of her soon-to-be husband and she could honestly say she had never known bliss until this moment. This was heaven right here in this man's arms.
