Blair Waldorf laid in her bed, tears flowing from her eyes. She couldn't believe what she had heard from her oh so perfect boyfriend Nathaniel Archibald and the things he did with her best friend Serena van der Woodsen. She felt as if her whole world was shattered in a matter of minutes. Blair and Nate had been together since they were kids. The three of them were inseparable. Blair ran down to the kitchen and loaded up a big bowl of ice cream, with all the toppings. She stuffed her face before becoming disgusted with herself. She ran to the bathroom, running the water she kneels down and empties the contents of her stomach.
It had been a week and Blair hadn't gone to school. She didn't eat or drink much. Serena and Nate had both come by a few times but Dorota turned them down. She tried to get Blair to eat but Blair would just throw it up. This year was hard on Blair but she couldn't take anymore pain.
"Blair?" Eleanor asks her daughter.
"Yeah mom?" Blair answered, with a shaky voice.
Eleanor could tell her daughter was hurting and didn't want to make things worse but she didn't have a choice. "Honey. We need to talk about my job." Blair looked confused. "I got into some trouble." Eleanor looked scared, Blair sat up with worry as she grabs her mother's hand. "I did some bad things and I have to leave the country immediately but I can't go into detail or you will have to testify one day."
Blair looked at her mother with disgust, she takes her hand away. "We're leaving the country? Where? Please tell me it's at least Paris or Rome." She wondered.
Eleanor shook her head. "No Blair honey. You can't come with me." She looked at the shock in her daughter's face. "I have to disappear or I'm going to get arrested."
Blair looked down in disappointment. "What does this mean? When will I see you again?" She was scared.
"We will see each other but right now it's best we don't communicate." She paused, fearing to explain the rest to Blair. "Our home is getting repossessed."
"What?" Blair yelled. "Where am I going to be living? With daddy and that male hooker?" She scoffed.
"You can't stay with your father but I found somewhere for you to stay." Eleanor said trying to keep Blair calm.
"Where?" Blair asked her mother. "I'm not staying with Nate or Serena and if you checked I don't really have many other friends."
"This lovely couple that I met several years ago at a school function have agreed to look after you." She smiled at her daughter. "It'll be okay. They have two children and they live in Brooklyn."
"Brooklyn? I'm moving to brooklyn? This is just great!" Blair cried into her pillow. The pain keeps piling on she thought.
Blair's POV
I packed up all my bags and walked outside. I was only allowed to bring a few things and the rest was to be sold. It broke my heart walking out of the home that I called mine for all I've known. My mom said goodbye to me last night. I was officially on my own. I sat outside waiting for a taxi when I heard my name being called.
"Blair?" A short blacked haired man asked me.
"What do you want?" I raised my eyebrow.
"It's Rufus. You're staying with my family." He reached his hand out for me.
"Oh right." I reluctantly shook his hand.
He grabbed my bags and we got into his tiny car. It smelled masculine and musty. I wasn't looking forward to any of this. We didn't say much but he played me songs from his band and talked about his kids. I tuned out and didn't really hear a word. I had too much on my mind. Serena, Nate, my mom and now my new unwanted family.
"Here we are!" Rufus shouted as we walked inside.
I looked around at the small loft. "Wow it's-"
"Great right?" He asked me with a big small on his face. I could tell he loved his life.
"Very cozy." I said with a half grin.
"Are you hungry? I made pasta." He offered me.
I shook my head. "No thanks. I don't eat carbs." I don't want to eat anything.
"Oh I'm sorry. I can make you something else. I love to cook." Rufus said.
"Where's your wife?" I looked at him, he was caught off guard.
"We're going through a divorce. Alison left me. Pretty recently." Rufus informed Blair.
"Not surprising." I mumbled.
"Let me show you to your room." Rufus walked across the room and knocked on one of the doors.
A blonde haired girl opened the door. "Oh my gosh! Blair? The Blair Waldorf?" She said with excitement. "She's the girl staying with us?"
My eyes widened. I didn't recognize her at all but I noticed she was wearing the uniform of our school.
"Yeah now calm down before you freak her out." He laughs.
"I'm sorry." She smiled. "I'm Jenny."
"Well I guess you know who I am." I looked at Rufus. "Where is my room?"
"This is it." We walked into Jenny's room.
I looked around the room, painted purple. There was beds, bunk beds.
This is a nightmare.
"I'll let you two get to know each other." He turned to Jenny. "Dinner when Dan gets home."
"You know Blair I cleared out half my closet and one of my dressers." Jenny said sweetly.
"Thanks." I rolled my eyes, I started unpacking and Jenny joined in.
As we finished unpacking there was loud noise. I turned around seeing the middle of the room the wall open up.
"Hello." A brown haired guy said from the other room. "I'm Dan Humphrey."
