Chapter 49 : Kiryu Coco
It was in the middle of the night. On Ayumi's residence.
"Wow! This is so delicious!~~"
Ayumi is currently watching the dragon girl eating the meal that she have made just for her.
It seems like Coco have the capability to shape shift into a human. Unlike her previous appearance, this one she looks gorgeous.
She have a long orange hair with a streak of yellow besides it, a pair of ruby colored reptilian eyes. She also have a pair of horn, with one being slightly cut off. She is also incredibly tall. A lot more taller than Ayumi thought so. Also, she have a purple draconic tail behind her.
By the way, she is currently using Ayumi's hoodie. Though it is pretty short for Coco so Ayumi enchanted it so it will fit her regardless of her size.
Awhile ago, when Ayumi decided to invite her inside her house, Coco seems to have notice that she is too big to get inside it so she transformed into her human form. Though it seems like only the ornament she is wearing below her neck is the only article of clothing that she wore.
Basically, she is naked when she transformed.
So Ayumi was forced to quickly come up with a way to fix it. So she made an enchantment to one of her hoodie and gave it to Coco.
Just to be complete, she also gave Covo a complete set of wardrobe so she won't be just a woman wearing only hoodie and nothing beneath it.
Now then, while Ayumi is waiting for Coco to finish eating, two other residents of this house were curiously peeking through upstairs. Those are Fubuki and Himeragi.
Fubuki is curious who is this mysterious guest. She is done streaming for today so she was thankful that no one heard that loud crash outside their house.
Himeragi was also distracted from that loud crash. Though she is just peeking along with Fubuki because she doesn't know what to do in this situation. She is just a freeloader in this house so she thinks she can't be too demanding here.
While they silently stare at Coco, it seems like Coco has finally done eating her fill of Ayumi's cooking.
"Pwah! That was so delicious!" Coco said while patting her stomach in satisfaction. "I didn't thought a human can create a heavenly dish like this." She added in a satisfied smile.
"Ah! Thank you!" Ayumi politely replied with a bow of her head.
They became a bit silent for awhile before Coco recall what she did awhile ago.
"Oh right. What about that apartment. Who owns it?"
"I own it..."
After hearing Ayumi responds to her, Coco take awhile to process it in her mind before she stood in a straight position.
Suddenly, like it was out of a movie, Coco just did the three stages of Dogeza.
"I'm sorry!"
"Fueeeeee!?"
Ayumi was startled when Coco suddenly gave her that intense apology.
"It was my fault. As a way to repent for my sin, I should cut a part of my tail and present it to you!"
"No! You shouldn't!"
Ayumi was quick to reject her solution right away. She didn't want the tail of one of the popular streamer in her past life. And based on what Coco said when she was still in her dragon form, it seems like she really can't help what happened on that. So Ayumi won't blame her for it.
"But what can I do for this mess? I know losing an apartment like that is a big loss for a human living in this world." Coco explained in worry.
"Don't worry about it. I already fix it." Ayumi immediately reassured her.
Ayumi have the capability to predict and use her analysis on every little bit of molecules that existed within her hundred miles of psychic grasps. So she fixed the destroyed apartment by just arranging all the particles of that apartment into the right position.
It's hard but for her who also have Multitasking God as her ability, it is just child's play to her. This is also a very reliable way of fixing almost everything because it's just reconnecting two molecules to each other.
And because the particles were arranged perfectly so it is a lot sturdier than a normal building.
Well, it was already sturdier because it was made from her System. Still, it still have some molecular flaws and she manage to patch those flaws after fixing the whole apartment, making it a lot more sturdier than it is.
Basically, Coco didn't need to worry about that anymore. It was already taken care of.
"How did you do that... wait, is that because of those weird energy thingy that was surrounding you?" Coco asks while staring at her in intrigue.
Ayumi nodded at her words. She have already learned that she seems to be releasing some sort of neutral energy that the people of this world detects as something that can either turn into any forms of energy to enact some sort of miracle or supernatural phenomena.
"Wow. This is my first time seeing someone who can do that."
It seems like Coco is impressed at her uniqueness.
Ayumi thinks it's not that praiseworthy. She only have a type of energy that seems to be able to convert into other forms of energy. She thinks there are some others who can also do this.
"I understand." Coco nodded at her. "Oh well, sorry for troubling you. I will be going now then."
It seems like Coco didn't have any business with her anymore. She stood up from her position and was just going to leave but after a single step, Ayumi stops her.
"Wait!" Ayumi says.
"Hm?"
After managing to take the dragon girl's attention, Ayumi felt a bit flustered. Though she is curious and also she wanted to help this woman so she decided to ask despite her low confidence.
"Can I... help you in your problems...?"
Coco took a moment to stare at her for awhile. It made Ayumi shrinks to herself feeling like she is just embarrassing herself.
After awhile, Coco finally speaks.
"I'm fine. I'm sure it's not that serious."
She dismissed Ayumi's worry before continuing on her steps, going to the entrance out of this house.
"... But..." Ayumi want to really help her but she didn't know what to say next.
Her Instinct is telling her that it was something serious. She needs to help her or something bad might happen to Coco.
She tries to take her courage and tries to speak again but it seems like Coco is already leaving.
"Here is a parting gift. Thank you for that wonderful meal! Wahoo!"
After saying that, she jumps onto the sky before suddenly becoming humongous and turning into her true form. After that, she quickly vanishes.
Coco is too quick that Ayumi doesn't have the time to even speak a single word.
Ayumi can only mope and feel useless after Coco left. She felt that she is not reliable seeing that Coco doesn't even accept her offer to help.
As she sighs in depression, the two others did two opposite things.
"Hmph!"
Himeragi turned her back and decided to go back to her room. It seems like she is not interested to what is happening anymore.
On Fubuki's side, she is going downstairs. It seems like she is curious about the thing that Coco have left in front of their door.
Ayumi knew that they were peeking through the stairs. Her psychic senses easily covers up to the whole Japan and more. So they can't really hide from her senses. Unless they are somehow not made of particles from the third dimension.
She just let her pick whatever is on the front door. She already manage to analyse it by just poking it with her psychic sense and using her Analyse.
When Fubuki got there, she saw a bunch of precious gems lying in front of their door.
"Woah! Ayumi! Look!" Fubuki said in an excited tone.
Ayumi knew that those are precious gems. It's not just precious gems, those are enchanted ones.
Their enchantments are being able to store massive amounts of Mana, being able to endure the passage of time with at least a billion years, and also being very sturdy.
She didn't give one, she gave a lot of it. Each of these gems were as big as a fistful of her hand. So there are a bunch of it on the door.
It also have different colors. Though all of it have the same effects.
Ayumi predicts that Coco seems to be that kind of person in this world. She seems to give her gratitude to the other party so they will always be even.
It's all her prediction so she wasn't sure if it was true. Though she is still very worried about Coco.
'I am planning to relax for awhile after that debacle on Tanegashima. Still, I can't just forget about Kiryu-san.' Ayumi thought. 'Also, I am now responsible for gathering all the Hololive Members of this world. I can't call myself as their Founder if I leave them alone despite knowing they have a problem burdening them!' She continued in her thoughts.
She have decided. She will find Coco and look out for her. It doesn't matter what her intentions for taking it on her lonesome. She also doesn't care even if Coco didn't know her.
She have done this to save Matsuri. She will do so to save Coco too, even if she is a dragon who seems to be capable of defending herself.
For now though, she needs to sleep. It is the middle of the night and her prediction is not giving any alarming bells that something bad will happen right now. So she decided to trust it.
"Ayumi!"
Ayumi sighs as she looks at Fubuki's excitement.
"You can keep it all." She told the fox girl.
She knows that Coco won't demand it back. She is the one who gave it to them. Her prediction is also telling her that even if they return it back to Coco, she will just refuse to take it.
So she really doesn't have any choice but to accept what Coco left for them.
Though, she didn't need any of it. So she will give it all to Fubuki.
"Are you sure!?" Fubuki asks in surprise before frowning. "But what about you?" She says before getting near at her. "You also need to have a share. Oh, Himeragi-chan should also get a share!" Fubuki declared with a strong gleam in her eyes.
"... I think... it was fine if you two split it to yourselves... I am already fine..."
"No! I refuse!"
Seeing that Fubuki won't relent on giving her a share of these gems, Ayumi gives up and let Fubuki to give her some of it.
Fubuki gave her half of it. And because Fubuki is also planning to split the remaining gems to Himeragi, that means that might have a fourth of it each.
Which means Ayumi have the most of it.
"W-wai!?"
"Okay! Bye!"
Fubuki quickly runs out after quickly putting the remaining gems into her Steve Ring. Then she rushes to the room where she called onto Himeragi to share the gems to themselves.
Ayumi didn't get the chance to give these gems back. She is okay even if she wasn't given any. It felt like she is taking a lot with this.
"... What should I do with this?" She asks to no one.
The Tiānlóng Continent is one of the heavenly realms located in China. It can only be entered from the Kunlun Mountains.
In the Tiānlóng Continent, there is a sect that known to be one of the strongest sect in this continent. This is the Golden Dragon Sect.
Inside, one of the genius prodigies of their sect has just finished breaking through his bottleneck.
Yes, the people of this continent are cultivators.
Cultivators. Different from Monks and Taoists, the Cultivators are those who are planning to defy the laws of nature and become one with it, turning them into immortals or gods.
Though on the outside world, there are only a few Cultivators in it, this hidden realm is the place where the culture of the Cultivators are still kept. This hidden realm is also teeming full of the Profound Energies or also known as Qi.
This is once again different than the Chi that the people on Earth are using. Chi is the inner energy of a living being. It can only grow at the same time as that human grows. Qi on the other hand is the energy originating from a higher state of concept that made up all of the creation.
It is different from Mana because Mana is the life energy of the world.
The Qi is mysterious because it was an energy that made up this very world.
It's like the Cosmic Energy, but it is more suited to all living things unlike the Cosmic Energies which are not compatible with any mortal beings other than higher entities.
Anyway, this prodigal genius names Yuan Yanglong, is trying to look for a way to further his cultivation.
He have seen one awhile ago. It was a Pure Dragon that is wandering around this world awhile ago.
Pure Dragons are unlike the True Dragons that were birthed by the world. Pure Dragons were born from another realm that is out of mortal comprehension.
They are a lot more stronger and can easily keep up with Cosmic Entities and Eldritch Abominations.
Pure Dragons were also dangerous enemies from anyone. Though killing one of these Pure Dragons will be a great boon to anyone, no matter if they are a human or a god.
Just the essence of a Pure Dragon will change a mortal's entire existence and turn them into a Dragon. Their blood can turn anyone who drinks it into immortals or even gods. Their scales can be used to create legendary artifacts that even gods will envy whoever holds it. And a lot more.
Essentially, A Pure Dragon is that precious that even with all of the risk attacking it, anyone will just disregard it and will try to kill it for their own benefits.
It was also the case for this sect. Being known as one of the strongest sects, they are arrogant enough to even try and launch a sneak attack on the unsuspecting dragon.
One of them was supposed to use an array to bind that dragon and give them enough time to finish it with their strongest abilities.
This sect is willing enough to give this Pure Dragon to Yuan Yanglong because they see a promising future with him.
So they will be generous to let him have the first pick of the dragon and also use it's essence to have him breakthrough and become the youngest person who have achieved the Nascent Soul stage of cultivation.
Sadly, it seems like the array that was supposed to bind it malfunctioned. Instead of holding it in it's place, the dragon seems to have been thrown out of this heavenly realm. This means that dragon was on the Mortal Realm.
Yuan Yanglong is very angry of course. He can't believe that he let that chance slip through his grasps.
He is trying to think of another way. He didn't want to go to the Mortal Realm.
The Mortal Realm have the impure Mana surrounding it. The Qi in there is very thin. He was nervous about the side effects that it will do to him if he absorbs some of those impure Qi.
The promise of achieving a breakthrough by killing the Pure Dragon is very enticing. But he doesn't want to get a Deviation when he was so close to breaking through.
Deviation is a term used from Cultivators. It describes a Cultivator whose cultivation path has gone astray. Having their cultivation path wrong will cause a negative impact for that cultivator. It is either they lost some of their progress, make it harder to breakthrough, lost all their cultivation, or die.
That's why he didn't want to do it.
He didn't want to. Though his decisions changes when one of his friends, Biao Cu, told him something interesting.
"The Patriarch is going to give you a lot of resources so you can hunt that Pure Dragon. He says that he have a lot of hopes on you!" His friend says in an excited tone.
Yuan Yanglong grinned with his eyes glinting in intrigue.
'It seems like the Patriarch needs something from that Pure Dragon. I thought he was content with the one he hunted a hundred years ago?' He thought to himself. 'No matter. This piece of news is just the right time. I can get the necessary things to take care of that dragon. After that, I will be able to breakthrough!' He thought in exhilaration. 'The heavens must surely be smiling upon me!'
After thinking about it for awhile, he decided to go along with it. He was sure that this sect have some treasures that will enable him to traverse the Mortal World without affecting his cultivation.
It was midnight on Japan when Nishida was called on by his subordinate.
"Sir!"
Seeing him get to the office, the guys who are working inside it quickly took their time to greet him before continuing on their work.
"Okay. What is it?" He asks while looking at the one who called him.
"Right. We have detected a large spike of energy on the direction where the subject Hoshimachi Ayumi is located. Based on our analysis, it seems like it was a dragon who encountered her."
"What!?" Nishida yelled in shock. "What happened!?" He asks in a panic.
"Nothing sir. It seems like after the dragon stayed for a bit with the subject, it immediately left." His subordinate answered in a calm tone.
Nishida take a sigh of relief after hearing that. He was just glad that the dragon didn't confront Ayumi. He doesn't want to lose this city, or even this whole country because a clueless dragon suddenly offended a Cosmic Entity.
The Other Side on Earth doesn't know how to differentiate between a Pure Dragon and a True Dragon. Only some people on this planet can do that.
That's why Nishida doesn't know that a Pure Dragon is a lot more terrifying than the dragons that he knew.
"By the way, do you know who is that dragon?" He asks in wonder.
"Sir. I think it's the one that was friends with the Aqua Faction."
"Oh..."
Nishida muttered with neutral look.
He knew that dragon. Shion have introduced her to the JSIB after a certain incident on the Mt. Fuji. That dragon seems to be referring to herself as Kiryu Coco.
Coco claims that she is younger than her kind so he thinks that she was not that big of a threat. The Thousand Year Dragonlord is a lot more scarier than a young dragon.
"Where is she headed?" He asks.
"Uh... based on her flight path, I think she is going to Kyoto."
Nishida took a moment to process that before he sighs in exasperation. It seems like Coco is going to the main base of the Senryuu-dou. He didn't know what she is planning going there, but he decided that it's not his problem.
"I'll just file this on the one responsible on that place. I don't have any business on that place." He said before dismissing the guy to continue his work.
He doesn't want to deal with any dragons. Even the weakest one can cause untold amount of chaos and destruction.
He heard that the one in charge of Kyoto can handle those draconic problems. He can also believe that because not just the leader of Senryuu-dou, there is also the problem about the Yamata Orochi, Mizuchi, and Kiyohime.
So he thinks that a young dragon can be taken care of by the section leader there.
He hopes that he wasn't called to go there. He really didn't want to deal with another problem now.

I don't really hate the people behind their characters. What I hate are the people out there who are flaunting their identities to the public like it was something to be proud of. So whenever I learn it, I just kept quiet about it.
