Dr. Strange saw a future where a young man with green eyes and black hair saved the universe from Thanos. He knew the boy was magical but not the same kind he was and so Dr. Strange hatched a plan that would save one little boy and in turn the universe years later.

Harry did not look up from his scrubbing of the kitchen, the seven year old did not have much curiosity anymore. He was not beat but starvation and insults came his way if he even thought of questions it seemed. He heard his aunt answer the door and someone invited into the house. He finished the counters and then moved onto the table, scrubbing that so that it fairly shone. He started in on the floor and had swept up the kitchen when his uncle came in the room and ordered him to the lounge. There he saw two people of average height, a man and woman clad in suits that were more expensive than his uncles. They had Asian features and the woman's long black hair was tied back in a bun. Harry had a feeling these people were not one's to mess with.

"Five hundred thousand pounds Mr. Dursley and a position in our company in Australia for the boy." The man said.

"We were told to keep him, for our safety." Petunia said.

"You will be far safer far from here and we are being kind." The woman said, "it would be unwise to refuse our offer, five hundred thousand pounds to us is like two hundred pounds to you, a good amount but a sum we can do well without."

"Very well, the boy is yours." Vernon said, "boy go pack, you are leaving."

"Yes uncle Vernon." Harry said.

He went to his cupboard and threw his blanket, his few changes of clothing and his stuffed stag into his backpack and walked out to find the two people frowning. Why would they? The cupboard was a good space and his relations could not get to him there. He followed his new guardians out, and it was a testament to the care he was given that he would leave so willingly. He got into the limo with his new parents and was off to his new life. He found out his guardians names, Walter and Rachel Li, and they had several children the youngest a daughter his age named Su Li. He quickly found that good grades were expected, he was required to learn Mandarin and how to read and write Chinese. He was taken to a healer and came out without a headache and able to see clearly.

The years passed in a blur for him. He found he had a talent for languages and learned gobblegook along with French, Spanish and German. Harry was very bright and had lots of questions Mr. and Mrs. Li were happy to answer. Because if this he was going to Hogwarts well prepared with an alliance with house Li, and several muggleborns under the protection of house Potter and Fleamont of which he was the last of the line of. These students were Dean Thomas, Hermione Granger, Sally Ann Perks and Anthony Goldstein. Everyone was on the train for Hogwarts and Harry could hardly believe he was eleven now. He smiled as Neville Longbottom joined everyone making seven people in the compartment. The trip was uneventful until Draco Malfoy showed up and started to go on about the "wrong sort".

"Thank you heir Malfoy for caring about me." Harry said politely, "I assure you there are no death eaters here among my friends. I am sorry about what happened to your father in the last war, and am glad you are looking out for me."

"Yes of course, well I am glad you are not with death eaters." Draco forced out, he had no choice as Harry was leading the conversation, "these are Crabbe and Goyle."

"Pleased to meet you." Harry said taking up three pumpkin pastries, "here, a gift, see you at school."

Draco and his guards took the pastries and left knowing that Harry was going to think on being a friend. Draco thought that this went better than it could have and was glad that Harry had not shunned him outright. It was clear he was not the next dark lord in the making and he would have to inform his father of that fact. He had no idea what to do as this was not expected at all out of the Potter and Fleamont heir. Too bad his mother was what she was, Harry could have been very powerful if not for that. Su Li smiled, her brother had learned his lessons well from home and he was someone she could be very proud of. The sorting went well, Harry and Neville endued up in Gryffindor and Su in Ravenclaw, it was as it should be and Harry knew how to take care of himself.

"What kind of writing is that?" Ron Weasley asked as Harry was writing a letter to his family.

"Chinese, I was raised by the Li family, they had me learn." Harry replied, "I like to learn languages, I can write Chinese, speak Mandarin, French, German, Spanish and Gobblegook."

"Blimy that is a lot, I can speak English and French and a few words of Gobblegook but that is it." Ron said.

"And Gnome, we learned that to teach the Gnomes to swear in English." Fred said popping up.

"Too true, mum went spare but it was funny." George replied.

"Have you tried to get them to help tend your garden?" Neville asked "that what my family does."

Harry made more friends that evening and the next day the whole of the first year Gryffindors moved as one through the castle to their classes and beyond. The first week went very well, even professor Snape who clearly did not like Harry saw he was a polite boy and was willing to give him a chance. After all he had been very nice to Draco and had broken bread as it were with him. He was not like his father at all, but then he had been raised by the Li family and they would not put up with bullying or anything else like that. He valued his education and was one of the best educated young men in the nation. He fit in very well and had taken several muggleborn under his protection and in time they could become vassals to house Potter or Fleamont.

The years passed, Harry grew in power and respect. He was well liked for who he was, a talented well connected young man who was humble and caring. Unfortunately Draco Malfoy did not stay friendly with him. Harry always tried to be kind to the other boy but Draco decided that following his father's footsteps and putting down muggleborn was the best idea. Even those under the protection of houses Potter and Fleamont. He was fast burning all the connections and bridges his father had tentatively put in place, mostly with threats. The Li family had flexed their muscles as it were in England and the Greengrass and Zabini families fell in line with them and with the Potter and Fleamont house as well. Harry's star was rising and he intended to see it continued to do so. There was a bit of a scandal, or really a way to realize that certain things of the past two hundred years were wrong. Witches were not property to be bought and sold in marriage and Harry got all betrothals and the like canceled unless those who went under them did so willingly and could back out if they wanted.

Yet it was the meeting he had when he turned fifteen that helped change the universe and stop Thanos in his tracks. He was not aware that Thanos wanted to "save the universe" in an appalling way and wanted to use certain stones to do so. One was on earth, and was in fact the "resurrection" stone or the soul stone. Only those that were the true master of the stones could destroy them and if one was destroyed then the gauntlet that Thanos owned would not work for him but would bind him instead. Dr. Strange was well, Strange to Harry, his magic worked differently but he was on the side of good not evil so Harry did not mind working with him. He was the owner of the stone, it called out to him and he was sad when he had to destroy it. He felt better for it though after and went back to school to his friends and family.

Dr. Strange smiled, he had a reason to rescue Harry, he deserved a good home, the Li's were powerful and raised him to be a strong young man. He had the evil in his scar removed, and that had set him on the path to destroy the stone. He would be a strong ally in the coming years and would in time help in the greater universe. Once he vanquished Voldemort forever then his full destiny would be before him. Dr. Strange had seen many futures and this was the one where Harry was raised by the Li family that meant the universe would survive. He was very happy he had helped Harry out and Harry would live a long and healthy life. The boy in question would know for now that Dr. Strange had saved him from a family that did not want him at all and gave him a chance to truly live.
