A nervous Norwegian-speaking presenter sitting in the studio shuddered to keep people informed of the latest news.

"The political situation is deteriorating here in the republic. People are becoming increasingly dissatisfied and there are violent clashes between police and protesters."

This was followed by footage from the capital of this Nordic European state. It was a night. In addition to older buildings in the typically European architectural style, the square was illuminated by lamps that shone orange. In the footage, the protesters were dressed like rioters in black, shouting and carrying transparents.

The people in the footage protested against the corrupt government, which had a direct authorial tendency. The country had a communist regime until the end of the 1980s, so the fact that communists are uncomfortable killing in government was very unpleasant. Dissatisfaction with the current left-wing government began to show at people.

Records from the reporters' cameras were not since in a high quality since the country had the economy at Serbia level. Previously, the rich kingdom and former Norwegian Region ended as same as the countries of former Yugoslavia and Berkians had in this respect closer to the Finnish people with that had similar history.

Roar was heard. Someone attacked someone. Followed by a violent clash between demonstrators and heavy armored policemans. The car with a water gun came up and tried to break up the protestors.

Displeasured people ran away.

A few years later, the same situation was repeated in news, but the situation worsened. Now was writing year 2010 and the situation just worsened.

From the shots taken by television stations, the police, the army or what people shot with their mobile phones, it was clear that violent clashes occur even during the day.

This time it was more violent due to the occasional police shots or a molotov thrown by a protester.

This time, however, the Swedish national minority in this Norwegian-speaking state began to speak out. Half of them were descendants of the Swedish people who lived here when Norway belonged to Sweden and Berk was at the time a Norwegian region. The Swedes expressed dissatisfaction as they left the EU for peace, not for further conflicts.

It was clear to the government where the situation was heading, and if they had to win over a bunch of officials who could buy weapons without a license, they have to educate the current generation of high school students to fight for them and to fight these militants thinking they are serving their homeland.

2012. Fights have become the order of the day. The situation now resembled the current situation in Belarus. Violent protests and arrests.

The West did not want to help this Skandinavian state with Eastern European thinking, despite the insistence of opposition politicians and local activists. People were afraid that the current president will declare himself a dictator and that in the country it would be the same as in Russia.

News started showing more and more information from politically targeted investigative journalists. Some were also from other European countries, but there they were here not so much.

Then at the end of the year, however, the last drop fell: the state without a referendum closed the borders in order no one could out get away.

Civil war started.

2013-present. Civil war is in the full swing. The country got poorer, on the level of Ukraine and the most of the cities are destroyed.

Fighting is the order of the day, in any way, and the Nordic snowy wilderness is coming back to life.

Welcome to the Republic of Berk.
