Chloe did, in fact, have her gun tucked into her back waistband when she practically jumped out of her car, taking the steps up to her friend's apartment two at a time and practically pounding on the door. Just as a precaution she had sent both Lucifer and Maze a text before even arriving asking them to check up if they didn't hear from her when she arrived.

It might seem a bit extreme, but she had been shot in her own apartment before, no reason to risk anything happening to one of her best friends. Not when they were so close to being done with all the violence, she hoped.

Thankfully, the door opened a second later revealing a red eyed, makeup running, but very much physically intact lab technician. Before the blonde could even ask, her friend practically lunged onto her, sobbing into her chest and pulling her into the room.

Ella's apartment was smaller than her own and far more cluttered with shelves and miscellaneous junk. Computers that had been taken apart, various books and manuals were thrown about, some opened, some not, and there was just a sense of disorganization filling the air.

It was heartbreaking, and the detective wrapped her arms around her friend's body, pulling her deeper into a hug, whispering soft words into her hair about how it would be okay, asking her if she was hurt, and what was wrong.

"I just… I don't know what to do…" the smaller girl whimpered back, "I don't know how to handle this… all of this, all at once."

Chloe nodded, it wasn't really a surprise, considering what she had been through lately. Add on the crisis of doubting one's own sanity and it could certainly take its toll. Gently guiding her friend over to an empty spot on a couch she sat her down before kneeling in front, "What can I do to help? Have you eaten lately?"

At the mere mention of food Ella's stomach grumbled in protest, earning a faint blush and a half-hearted scowl from the blonde. "Let's get you something to eat first hm?" Rising, she made he way over to the small kitchen and began checking through the refrigerator and cupboards.

There wasn't much, and it brought tears to the blonde's eyes to see how her friend was living. 'After today' she promised herself, 'she will be moving into Lux.'

Finally, she found a can of soup that wasn't expired and began heating it up while going back to check on her friend. Ella had cleared off some of the space next to her, enough for the blonde to sit down on, and looked back up with a hesitant smile. "Sorry…"

"Ella, there's nothing to apologize for."

The technician looked away, "For dragging you out here? For how messy everything is? For…"

A finger went to her mouth, ending her rant, "I was happy to come out and see you, I'm just sorry I was a big cause of all this. As for your living conditions, you won't be here for much longer. You're coming to live with me at Lux."

"Chloe I couldn't…"

Using her best, 'I am in charge, and you will do what I say' voice, the blonde interrupted, "It isn't up for debate."

The microwave beeped from the other room, and the taller woman went to retrieve a bowl and the food for her friend. Moments later Ella was, a bit reluctantly, taking small spoonfuls of food. After getting through half the bowl she whispered out a thanks, earning a smile from the detective.

Still, something was bothering her, and while Chloe could probably guess, the number of things it could be was probably double digits at that point, "Ella, if you want to talk, I'm happy to listen. I know all of this is, well hard to deal with. I've gone through it before though so maybe I can help?"

She nodded, before slowly setting the bowl down on a nearby, still cluttered, end table. "I Just… don't know what I should do about all this. I mean, I thought I finally got over Rae, thought she had either left me alone or I really was crazy, and the therapy finally helped and now…"

"And now she's back."

Ella nodded, "But it isn't just that, I mean… what am I supposed to do now? Do I just forgive her? Do I tell her to fuck off? Do I yell and scream then demand she buy me something? Do I slap her in the face then kiss her?"

The blonde's lips curled up into a smile, at least the feelings weren't as one sided as she had originally feared. "I think that is something only you can answer. You aren't obligated to do anything with her, you can just ignore her for the rest of your life if you want and I won't blame you."

"But she went to you right? To try and convince me?"

Chloe shrugged, "Something like that yeah."

Another moment passed in silence, before the Latino woman began fidgeting a bit, "Do you at least get something out of it?"

She stared at her friend for a moment, before laughter bubbled to the surface. After a second or two Ella joined her in the ridiculousness of the situation.

Lucifer swirled the wine in his glass around for a few moments before taking a sip. He allowed himself to relax just a bit due to receiving the text message from Chloe a half-hour prior, one confirming that both she and Ella were okay.

There was no hidden message contained within, and the safe word had been used indicating she wasn't in duress. She had also confirmed that Ella would be moving in with her soon and asked him to have a room prepared for her.

It was a simple task and one he had already anticipated long ago. There was also a question concerning whether he would like to go along with her on a 'double date' with Ella and his sister.

Hard pass, Lucifer might enjoy the sensuality and sexuality of humanity, but he already had a good idea of where that night would end. While he would certainly never deny his future queen any lover she might desire, even his own siblings, he wasn't interested in participating in the act itself.

Although, that train of thought did lead to some rather curious ideas. Were angelic beings naturally drawn to the human? If so, then why? Would this pattern continue with more members of his family? The idea of having some of his haughtier brothers and sisters on their knees before her sent a shiver down his spine. Because it wasn't just the apparent attraction, and he knew Azrael was attracted to her, it was something else, something deeper.

It was the way Mazikeen's gaze lingered, how quickly she submitted to the blonde. It was his own feelings as well. Chloe seemed to have her own ability to bring out the desires of others, this time for those above the normal planes of humanity.

What would this mean for those who had never experimented with humans in such a way before? Would the other Archangels, those who deemed themselves so high and mighty, ask to be degraded verbally and physically? Would she have Gabriel displaying themself in public, begging to be ravished by strangers? Would Michael be on his knees, desperate to be dominated and treated as an object?

These thoughts and more brought a smile to his lips, followed by the glass of wine.

***CoS***

"Her" Ella looked over to where her friend lounged on the couch, confusion evident on her face, "you asked if I got something in exchange for talking to you. I couldn't really think of anything, so I just said 'her'. It's a bit… complicated, but for simplicity's sake let's just say I'm sort of going to be royalty soon and Lucifer has been insisting I start up a harem so… figured an angel would be a decent choice."

"That's…"

"A bit messed up?" The blonde ventured, earning the shaking of her friend's head.

"Hot" A snort followed, followed by more laughter from both. "Seriously though, it is… so am I… you know?" The blonde quirked an eyebrow, earning a huff of having to explain the question, "Am I part of your love group?"

Chloe blinked, before shrugging lightly, not wanting to seem demanding but also not wanting to dismiss the inquiry, "I mean, if you want to be you know I'd be happy to have you. This isn't like me claiming men and women against their will or anything like that Ella."

"Who else?"

"Beatrice for certain. Lucifer isn't really a part but sort of the King instead. Maze… I guess? We haven't really talked about it, oh and Charlotte but that's a bit complicated."

"Charlotte? As in the one who broke up your marriage and was my attorney, Charlotte?"

The detective nodded, "Yeah… like I said, it's complicated. And I guess depending on how all this goes maybe Azrael as well."

Ella laid her head back down to stare up at her ceiling, her gross, stained, probably water damaged ceiling. "Would you come with me?"

"Where?"

She sat back up to stare the blonde in the eyes, "If I agree to a date… with Rae, or Azrael, or whatever. Would you come with me? Either make it a double date or just… I don't know if I can deal with just her so soon."

Chloe nodded almost instantly, "Of course Ella, you know I will help in anyway that I can. Do you want me to tell her for you? Lay down some ground rules for her on keeping in normal and light?"

The relief was almost instantaneous, and the shorter woman nodded graciously, eyes already beginning to water in gratitude.

***CoS***

Azrael was giddy.

Giddy

She never thought, had even denied herself basic hope, of ever having a chance with Ella. Looking back, the archangel would admit that she had handled the situation poorly. She should have told the young girl when they first became close the entire truth rather than half-truths and lies.

For the longest time she thought that her actions had created a permanent rift between them, having the human doubt her sanity and even seek out professional help.

But then things had changed, and she had learned that her favorite, don't tell anyone, brother was involved with humans and a whisper had returned that maybe she had a chance.

That whisper had turned into something more when she learned the King of Hell was in a relationship with a human.

Sex was one thing, and something she would have happily, gladly, enthusiastically, accepted with her old friend, but a full-on relationship?

She would have gladly abandoned her position and role for that opportunity. What she had accepted though was something that caused her to pause in consideration. Chloe hadn't wanted power, hadn't wanted the right to decide who lived and who died or some sort of all powerful artifact, all answers she would have expected from a human.

Instead, the blonde had wanted her, physically, mentally, spiritually, sexually.

That had never happened before. Ignoring the fact she normally only appeared to humans for a brief moment, and usually not at a good one in their existence. Chloe though… it sounded as if she was attracted to her.

It sent flutters through her chest, a feeling the angelic being was not used to, unless thinking about the young girl she was interested in.

What would happen next? Would the detective be able to convince Ella to give her a chance? Would it progress past mere friendship? Would the blonde go through with her demands and use her?

Would she enjoy it?

***CoS***

Cain's tormentors had been numerous and varied. Some human, some very distinctly not. The tortures had been just as distinct as the ones inflicting them.

Some cut, some smashed, some burnt, some stabbed.

He healed, of course, and then it would be round two, three, four… eventually he would lose track and sometime after that the individual would grow bored of his screams. One of the problems with being an immortal was the healing factor. He healed from everything, including any nerve damage or muting of sensations.

A normal person's mind and body would grow accustomed to pain, would block it out with time, Cain's wouldn't.

The boredom was almost as bad as the pain. He was often strapped down to a table, unable to move, nothing to do, no one to talk to. After so long he began to suspect that the waiting was just another cruelty, an attempt to break him and make him crave the pain, to have him look forward to it, yearn for it.

So, he found ways to occupy his thoughts, even coming up with a game of attempting to figure out more about those who hurt him. Which one was a demon, and which a human? What were their backgrounds? What had they been promised, or perhaps paid, to have a 'session' with him?

After that grew tiresome, he went with keeping count to see who 'visited him' most often. The immortal figured he could think up some jokes and insults for whoever seemed most interested, at least get some bit of revenge out of the ordeal.

At first, he had figured it would be Mazikeen who tortured him the most frequently but was surprised when this turned out to be false. In fact, other than their original encounter, she had only been around once in… well however long he had been down in the windowless room.

The next two he had put imaginary money on were Lucifer or Decker, but he had been wrong again, and thankfully this time. She hadn't been down once since his arrival and as for the Lord of Hell? Well, it was one, albeit small, mercy that he didn't seem to be worthy of the Devil's attention.

The fallen angel had visited only twice by his count, but both had been beyond excruciating. For anyone else he could try and hide in his own mind, filter out the pain by focusing on other thoughts, hiding from the physical through mental discipline.

Lucifer though? He carved right into his mind.

Attempting to daydream brought him into a nightmarish Hellscape full of abominations and agony on a scale he had never thought possible.

A minute with the Devil was worse than he figured days would be with anyone, or anything, else.

"Ella agreed to go on a double date."

A warm breeze swept through the park she had insisted upon meeting at, wanting a more neutral area to start with. Chloe assumed that the slight shift in weather was tied to the archangel's emotions but wasn't quite sure.

"She did?" Despite being one of the most powerful entities to ever exist, there was a tone of vulnerability in the smaller girl's voice.

The blonde nodded, "Yes, but I emphasize this is a double date, as in you two will be with going with my friend Beatrice and myself. It helps the situation be less awkward and I probably would have suggested it even if she didn't."

Azrael quickly nodded, more than willing to agree to anything at that point. "Yes, sure of course whatever you two think is best."

"Good, which leads us to the rules."

"Rules?"

Chloe crossed her arms, looking more menacing and powerful than she felt. "Yes, the rules. Despite what you think you aren't exactly up to 'normal human behavior' standards, so we need to go over a few things."

"Oh… like no standing behind someone?"

Another curt nod, "Sort of, first of all, no stalking."

This seemed to flummox the angel, whose eyes widened in shock, "I-I wouldn't…"

"Yes, you would. You did it before so you might fall into that behavior again, so I'm just telling you now, no stalking. Don't follow her back to her apartment, invisible or not. Don't call her every minute of every hour, in fact before you call her, you call me just to make sure you aren't doing it too soon. Don't leave her presents on her windowsill or door or in her home. Don't write her notes in the clouds or on her whiteboards at work, don't visit her at work unless we talk about it first, etc."

Azrael openly stared, before swallowing and nodding at the orders, "Yeah… I mean yes, of course I won't do any of that. I don't want to make her uncomfortable."

Chloe nodded, "Good, which leads us to the date itself. Remember, this is just a date, no expectations. This doesn't mean you two are going to get married, or have sex after, or make out, or even have a second date. Think of this as 'rebuilding bridges'."

"Bridges… right…"

"You hurt her Azrael, you broke her heart and made people think she was crazy. You need to earn her forgiveness, and this is a good first step, to show her that you respect her and her friendship first and foremost."

This time she saw the determination in the shorter girl's eyes, "I understand… uhmmmm…"

"What?"

"What uh… should I wear?"

Chloe Decker had the sneaking suspicion this was going to be much harder than she initially thought.

Another request denied, and Amenadiel fought the urge to scream. Apparently there were rumors of another rebellion growing in Heaven, that Michael's move to solidify his position was being contested by at least one other faction, maybe even two.

Archangels were beginning to choose sides, battle lines drawn, and agendas solidified. If something didn't change soon it could be a catastrophe on the scale of Lucifer's war.

Michael did not have any forces to spare for the defeat, and capture, of the Devil but still needed it done. Such a victory would solidify the eldest's position, and likely his own, as those who deserved to rule.

The problem now was, how could he hope to defeat not just Lucifer, but also his demons? Perhaps he could recruit others? Those who had not yet chosen a side?

He knew both Azrael and Gabriel had, thus far, remained undecided, not wanting to stroke the fires of conflict as it were. Didn't they know that such actions did more harm than good? Didn't they understand that by coming to the, obvious victors, the would be preventing the violence that they preached against and avoided?

Perhaps it was their interactions with humanity. Gabriel had always been the messenger to mortals, guiding those to paths that needed to be followed, while Azrael was in charge of caring for the dead.

Clearly, it was their roles that had driven them to denying what they knew to be true.

Perhaps that was why Lucifer continued to fall as well, submerging into the sin that was both created and was fed by humanity.

Perhaps, that was what he needed to take advantage of.

***CoS***

"Chloe, you ready to go?"

The blonde looked up from her laptop to where her best friend stood in the doorway and gave the woman a nod, "Yeah, just working on a project."

"Anything fun?"

She smiled, but shook her head, "Not really, just going through endless reports and newspaper articles. Even then I haven't really made any progress. Luckily, I have more important things to do than spend my evening staring at a glowing screen."

Beatrice grinned, "I haven't been on a double date in forever. This is going to be a blast!"

Walking together, the two reached the elevator and headed down towards the private garage attached to Lux. "Just remember, the point is to try and make it less awkward between Ella and Azrael. Much as you might want to drag me out onto the dance floor all night."

Her friend's smile turned into a smirk, her eyes darkening, "Actually…" she replied, voice dropping down into a whisper, "I was thinking about dragging you somewhere else instead, maybe somewhere with some privacy."

A shiver ran across the blonde's skin at the unspoken promise, and she had to bite her lip just to remain focused on the task at hand. "After…" she promised, "definitely after."

The dancer giggled, "Assuming we don't have a foursome?"

This earned her a roll from her childhood friend's eyes. "I really doubt Ella is going to be taking it that far tonight, or even this year by the way she reacted." But Trixie merely waved her concerns off.

"Please, I've met Ella remember? She is a partier at heart and a romantic below that. As long as you are in the room, she will be down for anything, trust me."

She wanted to, but despite how much she loved her best friend there was still that detective instinct in the back of her mind telling her otherwise.

Lucifer had insisted that they take one of his cars to pick Ella up in and although Beatrice had given her the 'puppy dog eyes' the blonde had ignored the temptation to take one of the sports cars and instead went with something more suitable, and that had a usable back seat along with four doors.

They were at the woman's, now temporary, home a little over twenty minutes later and she made her way out in a fashionable, but still modest, black dress. Chloe had gone with black pants and a matching shirt, while Beatrice had opted for a miniskirt and low cut top for the most 'carefree' of the trio.

"Hey good lookin, wanna come party with us?" Beatrice purred, earning a giggle from the shortest of them as she hopped into the back of the car.

"I hope you will at least buy me dinner first." Ella teased back, earning a grin from Beatrice and a laugh from the driver. "So… Rae is going to meet us there?"

The mood dropped slightly, but Chloe nodded and did her best to maintain the previously cheerful atmosphere. "Yeah, I thought it would take a bit of the edge off and feel more like a carefree date that way."

"Alright ladies, the night is young, and we are younger so let's get this party started!" Trixie cheered, as the car pulled out and onto the road towards their destination.

***CoS***

Lucifer let out a content sigh as his lieutenant bounced up and down in his lap, riding his cock while their pet eagerly lapped at where they were joined.

If he was being honest, he would rather it be a certain blonde female currently taking him into her body, but Mazikeen was a nice alternative, especially with Chloe out enjoying the company of her two handmaidens and his sister.

He slapped one of the two cheeks that currently took up a nice portion of his view, causing the demoness to groan and earning a giggle from the world's first woman. It certainly wasn't a bad way to spend the evening, and he had needed a break from either devising ways to torture Cain or searching for his irritating younger sibling.

Chloe had warned him about spending too much time on such tasks, and seeing how far she had come from spending her precious time in a job that didn't appreciate her to enjoying the pleasures to be had in life had certainly helped convince him to let certain things slide as well.

Amenadiel had no where to go except back to the Silver City, and if that had been his destination then there was little he could do to stop him anyway. It would be far better to just wait and see what the lesser angel would come up with and play defensively.

Maybe if he was lucky the black-skinned entity would even bring another of his siblings into the situation. His future queen really couldn't have too many members of her harem after all.

This time he reached around and found Eve's head, gripping her hair with both hands and pulling her down to shift her attention just a bit lower. He always did enjoy her oral ministrations on his testicles.

***CoS***

Ella had chosen the location, a popular club that was a bit calmer than Lux but still busy enough that they wouldn't draw unwanted attention or notice. The music wasn't quite as loud, the festivities not quite as scandalous, but it was still a nightclub, albeit one with tables set far enough from the dance floor to allow for semi-normal conversation and privacy from the crowd.

Azrael met them near the door, not wanting to just appear in the club without someone else nearby and not having any money to get in by herself. As soon as she saw the trio she lit up and began making a beeline towards Ella before the blonde gave a gesture to slow down.

It had the desired effect, and although she walked noticeably closer to her friend, there was still enough distance and casualness that it seemed to relax the woman.

Once inside they picked an empty table and sat down, the conversations needing to be a bit louder than usual, but still not quite shouting level due to the music.

"So, Rae right?" This earned a nod from the newcomer at Beatrice's inquiry, "What's your thing?"

"My… thing?"

The dancer nodded, "Yeah, Chloe said you're an angel, right? And that a lot of you have a 'thing' that you do, what's yours?"

Attempting to sneak in a 'drop the conversation' gesture didn't quite reach her friend, despite the blonde's best efforts, but Azrael answered regardless, "I am… was the angel of death."

"Oh…"

Seeing the situation immediately become awkward, Chloe chimed in, "But you didn't actually kill people right? You just sort of… guided them on?"

Rae nodded, "Death happens regardless, but we found mortals didn't always have the natural urge to seek out the afterlife. That's why my role was given to me."

"So, did you… like your job?"

Once again all attention went onto the shortest of the women, whose gaze dropped down onto the table, "I hated it. There were definitely times that the person was relived to see me, an older man or woman who missed their departed spouse for instance, but far too often they weren't ready, didn't want to go. The worst though… the worst were those who wanted to move on despite being so young. Knowing that death was a relief…"

She trailed off, and a hand reached across the table to give her's a comforting squeeze before any of them realized it was Ella who had taken the initiative. Still, the situation was tense and unnerving, and Chloe immediately picked a topic that would, hopefully, be better for everyone.

"So, how did you and Ella meet?"

Before she could answer the human woman did for her, apparently becoming overly excited due to the topic, "She started haunting my house, or I guess me would be more correct."

A small, almost sad, smile appeared on the archangel's face, "Actually we met before that, you probably just don't remember because of how young you were. A car almost hit you, missed by a few feet, and because of that you had a 'near death experience'. You saw me for a few moments, asked me why I looked so lonely and sad. I told you that I didn't really have any friends and you said that we could be friends so I just… followed you home and kept coming back when I was in the area. It helped, seeing you always so positive and happy about life."

***CoS***

Fingers traced the silky band, more importantly the letters that had been sewn onto it.

C-H-A-R-L-O-T-T-E

It was ridiculous, preposterous even, and yet she couldn't get the idea out of her head. When she had gone shopping with Chloe and Mazikeen it hadn't escaped her attention that both and looked over at the collars in the sex shop they had visited.

And then the dark-skinned woman had gone and made the comment of how good the attorney would look in one.

From that moment on her thoughts continued to stray to the idea. She had never been debased in such a way before, especially not willingly. The notion that she would choose to become Chloe's pet and maybe even subject herself to sex in such a position was absurd.

It was also one of the hottest things she had ever had a sex dream about. In it she was both the center of the attention along with just a piece of property to be used. Surrounded by men and women, fucked from every angle, taken by two, even three, at once...

She was becoming aroused again at just the mere thought of it, of being used by them in such a demeaning way.

Still, she already belonged to the younger blonde, didn't she? And while the idea had been mortifying, even terrifying, at first she had also come to the conclusion that there might be a way to enjoy the situation.

Chloe didn't seem like the type to take vengeance in non-consensual ways, so why not add a bit of roleplay into the mix and get the best of both worlds for everyone involved?

Her 'owner' could be both controlling and freed from guilt while Charlotte could explore a kinkier, darker, side of herself while keeping an iota of control.

She really did need to thank the woman for getting her charges removed, after all.

***CoS***

"Do you think they will be okay?"

Trixie rolled her eyes, an act that Chloe found both endearing, and a bit bratty at the same time. "Oh please, did you see the way Ella was staring at her? Give them ten minutes alone and we will be getting texts that they want to go somewhere more private."

"I don't know, she was really upset with Azrael when I first told her."

"Well yeah, but they were friends before and will be again, probably more if you actually gave them some time to just work things out on their own." Although the response was teasing, the blonde could still hear a bit of admonishment in her best friend's tone. "Besides, I'd rather focus on the us part of this double date for a bit."

The detective smiled, before allowing herself to be led further out onto the dance floor by her friend. Music continued to boom, bodies moved around them but for the couple there was just them. Beatrice moved and swayed with a rhythm and confidence inherited through her previous job. Chloe, on the other hand, had always found such activities to be a bit more challenging, always harder to relax and simply dance without concern.

So Trixie did it for her, moving up against her, sliding around her body, putting her back to the blonde and taking the cops arms around her body. It was an intimate embrace in a public place, but with the lights flashing, the fog creating shadows, and the general chaos around them none took notice of when Chloe's arms slid lower.

None except for the one who gasped out when her fingertips reached the bare skin at the bottom of her dress.

Hands went underneath clothing, causing the former stripper to throw her head back, and a pair of lips to suck on the side of her neck.

"No panties Beatrice?" the blonde mumbled into the exposed skin, earning full body shivers from her 'victim'. "We are in public, you could be exposed to anyone paying attention."

Her teasing earned a whimper, even as her hands traveled discreetly upward, showing a bit more of the woman's legs but nothing more.

"I thought we talked about how you were mine, how no one got to see this," her fingertips reached the aroused cunt of her best friend, "soaked pussy of yours but me."

"I-I I'm sorry…" Beatrice moaned quietly.

A smirk formed on the blonde, one which the other definitely felt, "I really should punish you for this. What kind of queen would I be if I didn't keep my harem in check?"

Trixie managed to turn her head to the side and make eye contact, her own hands torn between touching the blonde behind her and gripping the arms for something to hold on to. "A kind one?"

It was light and teasing, and Chloe returned the smile given to her even as she thrust two of her fingers into her best friend, causing her to go wide-eyed and barely contain a groan. Her smile continued, calm and cool despite finger-fucking her friend while surrounded by strangers.

As for Beatrice, she was barely preventing herself from dropping onto the floor due to shaky legs and an orgasm that was just out of reach.

"P-p-please…"

"Please what Beatrice?"

The blonde's tone was almost questioning enough that the other woman wasn't sure she knew what was being asked, begged, "L-let me cum!" she half-hissed, half-pleaded in a whisper.

Chloe looked almost scandalized, save for the twinkle in her eyes and the grin tugging at her lips, "But Beatrice, that would be encouraging bad behavior, and we wouldn't want that."

"I-I'll do anything you want, please."

"Anything?" The dancer nodded, barely aware of what was being said by her friend or herself at that point. "I suppose there is the possibility of an after-party with Azrael and Ella…"

Another quick nod.

"And you do owe me for when I pinned you up against the wall last time."

A more frantic nod.

"And I have always wanted the lap dance from you…"

Trixie wanted to cry. She had never wanted a release so badly before, and her 'despair' seemed to become known to the one inside of her as a moment later the finger curled, while a thumb found her clit.

She would have screamed, had the blonde's free hand not gripped her head and forced their lips together at the last moment.

***CoS***

The archangel couldn't help it, her eyes were drawn not just to the dancing, sweating, bodies nearby but more specifically to the two who had previously been sitting at the table with her and Ella.

Chloe and Beatrice moved in ways she envied, in ways she had always dreamed about. To have that kind of closeness with another being, that kind of intimacy.

It was beautiful, and not for the first time did she envy humans and how carefree they could be, even if for only a few moments.

Angels weren't like that, maybe couldn't be like that.

"Why didn't you tell me?" The question ripped her away from the scene, in which she was fairly certain they had begun exploring each other sexually, and back to the one sitting across from her. Ella was staring now, determination and expectation on her face.

"What part?"

"Any of it." The woman seethed. "About who you are, what you are. About why you wanted to be around me, about... how you felt..." The anger seemed to diminish at the end, almost turning to tears.

"I... didn't know how. We don't have friends up in Heaven Ella, not like humans do. We don't really interact with the deceased, especially not me, and with my task I was on Earth much of the time, watching and guiding but only interacting with those who passed on for brief moments."

Her former friend seemed to take this answer in, nodding slightly before letting out a deep sigh, "Why me?"

"Because..." She trailed off, not knowing exactly how to explain it, mostly because she didn't know how. "Just... because. There isn't some grand reason or overall destiny Ella I just... I liked being around you that first time and I just kept wanting to come back. You felt like home, more than anything else ever did."

Now tears did begin to form in the human's eyes, and the angel fought the urge to move around the table and comfort her. "Do you have any idea what you did to me?"

"I..."

But Ella cut her off, "You were my friend Rae-Rae, one of the only ones I had. I told you secrets I didn't tell anyone else, I let you into my heart and then you abandoned me, you just left and I was forced to try and explain my imaginary friend to people who couldn't understand. I loved you and you left me!"

Her own eyes began to water now, "I never meant to hurt you Ella... I saw how others were beginning to stare, how you would go to me instead of other people and I thought maybe it would be better for you to be with them instead. I thought you wouldn't be able to make friends if I was around. I loved you, I still do but I knew it wouldn't work, that we couldn't..."
