Ash's Journey Through Hoenn

When he parts ways with Brock and Misty after his defeat in the Johto League, Ash has an epiphany that makes him realise what he has to do if he really wants to achieve his dream. Three months later he travels to Hoenn and starts taking his first steps on the path to be the Pokémon Master he has always dreamt of being.

11. Update

Alright, I think it's best for me to start off by saying I'm very sorry. I'm guessing you're all wondering what happened to the promise I made about a year ago. Well, I ended up spending a lot of time helping take care of my grandparents through the pandemic and was able to return to work earlier than expected. My YouTube channel suffered for the exact same reason so I wasn't prioritizing that over writing.

Now that things are closer to normal I've been able to not worry so much about looking after my grandparent and have been refocussing on my YouTube channel since I now have the time to dedicate to it again.

Am I coming back to writing?... No, I'm sorry but the fact of the matter is that as much as I love fanfic writing I just don't have the time for it anymore. Ash's Journey through Hoenn for example would need to be heavily rewritten to remove the main thing I don't like in that story and I just haven't got the spare time to dedicate to that. I'm having to work more hours to make up for the money I didn't make during the lockdown to pay for bills and I'm trying to keep a regular update schedule on YouTube as that at least makes me a (very small) amount of money.

If you want I can put up a brief summary of how I intended the story to go and if you're interested in finishing what I've started then message me.

I truly am sorry that I couldn't finish these stories, I did truly enjoy writing them, but all things must come to an end and this is probably it for Knight of Kanto. Believe me if there was any way I could keep writing I would do it in a heartbeat but it's just not an option right now.
