Welcome to Vernal's Day. You know what you're getting into. Though, you'll notice more '~XXX~'

P.S. There's an interesting little surprise at the end of Obito and Vernal's day. Look forward to that.

~Vernal's Day~

Thursday night, Obito donned a pair of black ninja sandals, a pair of dark blue pants with tied-off ends by his ankles.

He stood there just like that, Vernal made tomorrow apparent.

They were going to be going on a hunting trip for her day to begin and she made him aware of the fact that this was going to require more… 'brisk' clothing.

Obito blushed a bit before placing a mask on the side of his head and picking up a backpack.

No sealing, no technology, no weaponry.

They were going all-in on nature for the next few days and that meant nothing but their bare hands.

He nodded to his bare upper half before looking at his hands and feeling his bare neck.

He quickly donned a dark blue scarf and wore some fingerless black gloves.

Clenching his hand, Obito nodded.

He was ready.

~Vernal's Day~

She looked over her things one more time as a familiar red-eyed woman came into her tent.

"I take it you've got everything planned out?" Raven asked as she stood there in a red kimono with black along the hem, sleeves, and collar, her feet covered by sandals. "Already set up a 'special place' for your fuckfest?" She asked with a smirk as Vernal froze, burned red, and yet grinned all the same.

"I might have found a place somewhere down the way," Vernal said before rubbing the back of her head with a contemplative expression. "You know about the Oasis, right? The town in the middle of Mistral?"

"Yeah, it's literally the 'impossible' town in the middle of the outbacks," Raven said with a smirk. "So that's where this is going?"

"Hehe~" Vernal grinned as she stood up. "Uh, yeah."

Wearing a pair of Obito-made ninja sandals that were the color olive green, Vernal wore a pair of dark brown pants with one of the pants' legs cut short right at upper-thigh.

Wearing an assortment of bandages around her chest, with a latch to really tie it down, the last thing she put on was a cloth vest that came down to mid-thigh and was colored dark green.

A 'ding' came from her Scroll and Vernal nodded to Raven as she gathered everything up into a burlap backpack before walking out.

"I'll be back," she said with a wave back at her leader.

"Yeah, yeah, just make sure to actually take the birth control!" Raven called out and Vernal's form froze as the older woman started cackling. "HAHAHAHAH!"

She powerwalked back, grabbed said birth control, and ran back out with a red face as Raven's cackling followed her for a good bit.

"Don't name it after me!"

"By the gods, Raven!"

~Vernal's Day~

Twenty seconds later, and a mile away from embarrassment, Vernal had been waiting on a large stone when she heard that telltale swirl in the air.

Obito appeared a moment later, the crunch of grass under his feet signifying his existence in the area and she grinned as she hopped off the stone and faced him.

Obito smirked and they bumped fists.

Time for some fucking adventure.

~Vernal's Day~

"So where's the first stop on this little trip?" Obito asked as they hopped through the trees, eye turning to Vernal as she moved beside him. "You said you planned this all out, how far?"

"We're riding by the seat of our pants!" Vernal said as she moved ahead of him before jumping backward. "Nature will lead us to whatever we need to do before we get there!"

Obito's mouth set in a smile as alive blue eyes locked onto his own gaze.

Then he smirked before blurring forward.

Vernal felt a brush of lips against her own before Obito's form moved past hers.

"Then let's get there!"

Her cheeks reddened before she grinned.

They moved like the humans they were.

~Vernal's Day (Slight Lime)~

Landing in a clearing, the two looked back the way they came before looking at one another.

Vernal crouched low before a burst of Aura, at her feet, sent her flying high into the sky. Blue eyes looked back at the way behind them before whistling.

"Damn, we came far!" She shouted as she landed three seconds later. "Geez, tree-hopping really is faster than fast," Vernal said with a smirk as Obito chuckled. "Let's see… the sun's pretty far down in the sky. It might be close to six o'clock."

"Then we should either set up camp or move to a higher position," he said as he came up to her. "Thoughts?"

"Any Grimm around?"

"..." Obito spread out his senses before humming. "There are a few close to two miles down the way we came. They don't seem to be following, though. They're just moving about. In the other directions, they're close to over a mile away. We might want to get rid of them, just in case."

Vernal nodded.

And the two vanished in eruptions of the earth below.

"Hmph, the Grimm out here are tougher than even the ones from the location I first met you at," Obito said as he stirred a newly-made clay pot that held some stew within. "It's interesting to think that Grimm here are stronger than I expected."

"It's a thing," Vernal said as she crossed her legs, a set of clayware bowls and spoons next to her. "From what we figured out, Grimm without challenges just seem to get stronger or something… It's kind of weird. Grimm don't fight one another, it's like they just… get tough."

"..." Obito frowned at the stew, Sharingan blazing and then bleeding away before shaking his head. "Hmph, for now, we'll just have to focus on our day and send that to Ozpin. For now, food's done."

Vernal grinned like a ferocious animal, bringing over one of the bowls and spoons.

Obito chuckled as he poured her out some stew with a clay ladle, the woman grinning at the golden-brown liquid.

The man hummed before pecking her on the lips as he finished, getting a frozen Vernal for his efforts, much to his grin.

"Hmph, hmm, man it looks good," he said with a smug grin aimed at her as he mixed the stew some more. "Heh-"

A hand gripped his cheek and Obito had less than a second to realize there were lips against his own.

Vernal pressed deeply against his lips and reciprocated as much as he could but he'd been caught off-guard and so was left a bit breathless when she separated them, her mouth set in a grin that had his face redder than red.

"Y-You?! That's cheating!"

"Is it?"

Obito's eyebrow ticked as she turned back to their 'eating area' and walked away… before his gaze went down and his tick transformed into a high-rising act.

'Her rear is so…!' Her pants didn't do anything to hide that rear.

Vernal had to know how much those things emphasized her butt to the point that her one-pants leg pants accentuated her revealed thigh. Well-defined brown musculature had him snapping back to his pot.

He had a feeling that he wasn't going to be able to hold out if he kept 'noticing' like this.

He got his own food and sat down next to her, the two of them eating in companionable silence.

After finishing that, they cleaned their things in an Obito-made 'moat' before setting up 'home'.

… Well, home in Vernal's consideration as the woman and Obito worked on the tent they'd need.

Vernal had told him she'd handle it and so they were setting up the tarp before nailing down the sides of the, actually pretty big, tent.

When they finished, it was somewhere around 8 or 9 in the evening and they'd got in.

It was about twelve feet wide in length and width, making it rather comfortable.

Obito had expected something to follow this. Maybe some talk, maybe some planning, hell, maybe Vernal would bring out a map and show him their destination.

Nope!

Obito froze as she unbuckled her pants, having slipped off her sandals a bit ago.

"V-Vernal-?!" He made to comment but then she bent over and pulled them down. "?!"

He'd played witness to a set of white panties that emphasized an amazing ass that had him 'knocking' almost immediately.

She stood back up and turned to face him, face as red as his was but mouth set into a barely-solid smile as she deposited her vest.

"I'm getting ready for b-bed, dude," she said with a slight stutter but powered through. "Not like I'm gonna sleep in jeans on the ground, futons be damned," Vernal explained as she got on her knees-

'Wait, stop!' His mind brought his imagination to halt as Vernal folded her pants and vest. 'S-She's not doing anything! She'll… V-Vernal will probably want to do it at the d-destination.'

Yes, that was likely true… but she was doing a very bad job at having him wait.

Vernal, meanwhile, wore an embarrassed, shaky, but victorious grin as she handled her clothes.

Some might wonder why she'd do this so vicariously. They were supposed to be somewhere, right? Many would assume she wanted her day to be at Oasis and not some random place in the woods.

Well, those people would be wrong. Vernal didn't care where this happened. What she wanted was for this to be as primal, as natural, as could be. Setting the mood wasn't really important outside of getting Obito riled up.

Vernal wouldn't settle for unnatural places and moods. If it happened, it'd happen.

So, when she turned to him, her eyes snapped to the tent in Obito's pants and blushed a nicer pink.

Obito swallowed before unbuckling and working off his pants to reveal black boxer briefs.

His face went neon-red but he powered through and folded his clothes by his futon, swallowing before freezing, eyes going wide, as hands settled against his back.

Vernal's eyes narrowed in concentration as she ran her digits over the well-carved back of her mate. Blue eyes trailed over the scars still on him, fingers splaying out and touching the healed marks.

"Hmph, were these scars also part of your squashing incident?" She asked.

"... Half of them are," Obito answered. "The others are from falling off the sides of things so much from training. I kept trying to push it before the incident."

She could tell, some of the scars just seem to 'cut-off' by the middle of his back. Like someone had perfectly stripped off half of them with a ruler.

"Hmph," she turned her inspection into an embrace that she grinned into when she felt him flinch. "Someone's still tender."

"Grrr," it was a small growl but it got a smirk out of her as her hands spread over developed pectorals before flicking a nipple that got another flinch out of Obito. "Hm, hm, hm, too much?" She whispered into his ear and smirked as he grunted.

"V-Vernal, I-"

She hummed as a quick application of Aura and good reflexes had her sliding around him with her hands on his chest, pushing him down.

"?!"

"Ohhhh," she blushed while also grinning like the pervert she was as her eyes went down to see a large bulge in his boxer briefs. "Right, you've gone a whole week without a good fuck, haven't you?"

Obito's eye widened as his member twitched painfully in his underwear's confines, getting another grunt out of him.

Now that she'd seen it once before, and had handled it as well, Vernal found her mind unfogged with lust as she gripped it through the boxers. Obito jumped but her grip remained strong and she grinned before pumping it once.

His hips trembled and she grinned further before letting go, getting a hissing breath out of the male brunette.

"Y-You…!" Obito's eye winced before narrowing as the iris began to fog over. "You're tempting me…"

"Maybe," Vernal said with a grin as she crawled over him and he saw the way her crotch hovered over his covered, twitching, member. "H-Hmm," her red face was set into a smug expression as she stammered a bit. "I'm interested in things just happening, Obito-kun. I'm not some little flower waiting to find the right 'mood', the right 'place', the right 'time'. Fuck all that."

He grunted at the emphasized word, eye almost completely losing to lust.

"We may end up doing it at the destination, hell, we may end up screwing right. Here. All that matters is it happening and doesn't just go to some damn routine."

He knew what was really being said here. Obito had known that for a while.

Vernal wasn't someone who just accepted things, her Semblance made that perfectly clear.

If she saw the opportunity for strength, she'd work for it. If she saw something she needed to destroy, she didn't want it on a silver platter.

If she wanted something, she was going to get it the rough and tough way… and, right now, she wanted a fucking that he had the key to giving.

His eye closed before opening with the lusting fog gone, great resolve in his gaze.

Vernal's eyes widened as Obito's body moved, soon enough, she was in his lap in an agonizing position of feeling his covered erection pressing against the crotch area of her panties.

Blue eyes widened as he held her flush with his body with one arm, mouth set in a smirk before he nipped at her neck.

"A-Aaaaahhh," she shivered before her eyes snapped open. "N-No, you are not-"

He leaned into it and gave an actual light bite and her locked-to-her-sides arms strained against his hold to grab him but chakra made him stronger than her Aura could without enhancement techniques.

His eye looked up at her gaze before he held her loosely, a smug grin on his face as she let out a few rapid gasps, eyes wide, and all of it locked on him.

"Y-You… bitch," she hissed the last word but her body desired his touch, and their nether regions touching down below wasn't helping her think. "Y-You think you can beat me to asking for it?"

"..." Obito's eye narrowed and Vernal's eyes had only a second to widen before his head came in close and low. "W-What are-Aahhhhh!"

Her vision flashed white for a moment as he bit down on one of her nipples, the act causing her to lock her legs around his back and her hands to clench.

Obito sucked on the nipple through its bandage confines before leaving it with a casual lick goodbye, bringing his face up into Vernal's embarrassed and wanting gaze.

"I'll let my actions tell you," he said with a sharp gaze. "I'm going to make sure you work for this."

Her eyes regained their composure and Vernal's lips found his own, the two pressing against one another for a minute before separating with rapid breaths.

"I'm gonna make you my bitch."

"You can try, hun. Now," Obito's eye winced as they both looked down. "This is gonna take some-"

Vernal's eyes gained a sharp lust as she pushed him down and worked her thighs.

"Fuck," was all that Obito got out before being given a soul-shattering climax.

He didn't give in but damn if he didn't want to.

~Vernal's Day~

The following morning found the two intertwined on their futons, the two having pushed them both together the night after their… stress relieving.

Obito sighed as he combed some of Vernal's hair to the side, her faded-sides hairstyle was always so peculiar to him. With her long and thick eyelashes, it really made the woman seem like she had a resting bitch face the best of times.

'God, what would a child be like with her?' The idea had been in his mind ever since Velvet had insinuated it. '... Would he have the same hairstyle as Vernal?'

Call him weird but he envisioned a kid between them being a boy, someone taller than most for his age, and wearing Vernal's hairstyle… Obito blushed a bit as Vernal murmured, grasping his lower back more tightly.

He sighed and held her close.

They were in for a frustrating routine today, Obito knew he had to enjoy these little moments of reprieve while he could.

Hopping from tree branch to tree branch, Obito found his eyebrow twitching as Vernal made sure to hop right in front of him.

An amazing rear tempted him and he hated how it entranced him with every jump. At some point, he'd forgotten that they were traveling and blinked when Vernal's rear disappeared from sight.

Obito blinked as no footing was underneath his feet before letting out a yelp as he hit the floor into a roll.

"Gah!" He came to a stop flat on his back, groaning, before Vernal's face came into view, a grin on it looking to all the world as smug as the smuggest of smuggers.

Oh, wait, those weren't a thing.

"Hmph!" He grunted before kipping up to his feet. "You're gonna cause me to make a mistake soon."

Vernal blushed as she grinned. "Not 'one of these days'?"

"I know how I roll, Vernal," Obito said with red cheeks but a resolved frown before turning to the place they'd ended up at. "Now, where are we?"

"This, my mate, is a popular bounty town," Vernal said as she patted his shoulder before putting on a bronze mask he'd made for her from the previous month and walked past, causing him to groan and follow her example, donning a familiar wolf's mask and wrapping his right arm in bandages. "Welcome to Ereblight, the most underground part of the bounty industry in Mistral," she said with a chuckle as they walked in and bumped shoulders, passing other masked individuals whose gazes flickered to them before going back to the town. "Think of it as a mission center but add in everyone's out for themselves," she said quietly.

Obito nodded as they walked past an alleyway covered in shades by the still-rising sun, he felt three signatures filled with murderous intent.

"They're pretty good," he whispered back to her and Vernal nodded. "If I wasn't so good at it myself, I'd have thought they were just the shades."

"Hehe, yeah, it's fun. Especially when they know who not to fuck with."

They walked past all the casual gray stone brick black market shops before finding themselves at a board in the center of a large square plaza, many eyes on the two.

Most to either Vernal's well-accentuated rear or Obito's bare upper body.

"This is the mission board for bastards even bastards don't want around," Vernal said as she crossed her arms and looked at the pickings. "It should be known that you don't bring this shit to normal outposts but to one of the many mafias in one of the higher-class settlements. They can be some real bastards but since you literally already know of them they typically give you some form of respect."

Obito nodded before shaking his head as Vernal chuckled.

They faked looking at the papers for five seconds before vanishing from their spots.

The three-man group with raised weapons blinked, along with many others in the plaza, as they found their targets gone.

"Man, you guys are a riot," came Vernal's voice from behind them and the three jumped back in a semi-circle to see the duo. "If I wasn't paying attention, you might have actually tapped me with these things," she said with a chuckle at the weapons by Obito's feet.

"Speaking of which," Obito said before raising his foot and bringing it down with as much chakra pushed into the limb as possible.

The little pile shattered under his might and the floor cratered deeply, allowing the shrapnel to stay in a hole.

The three looked horribly nervous as many around them laughed, chuckled, or jeered at their 'fight'.

"So, we can end this easily or with you three fucking off, your choice," Vernal said as she leaned on Obito who crossed his arms.

They scattered like field mice, the two chuckling in amusement before clapping came from their side.

It was a black-haired woman with a white mask in a kimono flanked by two women who looked like bodyguards. "Impressive. From how you were explaining things to him, one might assume he was either just a tag-a-long or new to this side of the world," she said as brown skin on her neck revealed a pair of scars. "I take it you two are bounty hunters?"

Obito raised a brow, tilting his head to the side. "We might be."

"Hm, hm, well, if you are," the woman joked. "Then you might have some fun tracking down a certain duo-"

"Let me guess, Tock Croc and Gage Gallion?" Obito asked and the woman flinched. "I know of them already, I've got my own information on the two and will deal with them myself."

"Hehe~" Vernal chuckled. "That said, any other good leads?"

~Vernal's Day~

Obito hummed as they went to their target.

"Interesting, retrieval missions even in the underground."

"I know, right? We're talking about some good money if she's who I think she is!"

They moved faster than anything around them to get a good look at, their speed doing them enough favors to cut their travel time down.

So, thirty minutes and 20 miles later, they peered down on an encampment of random, no-name, bandits, their target in the middle of the entire camp.

He was tall, muscley, and riddled with scars. One of them being the signifier about this being their target, a large cross on his back from a whipping he'd received for killing his former employer.

On his back were a pair of large battle axes that hung off his back and crossed.

"So, how do you wanna do this?" Obito asked before shaking his head as Vernal grinned. "Stupid question."

They vanished from their spots.

Aron of the Cutter looked around in annoyance.

'I can feel eyes on my back,' but he couldn't find where. 'Tsk! I knew helping that bitch was a bad idea!'

Those two newcomers had come in and caused all kinds of fucking problems! That crocodile woman had been one thing, he might have even been able to score on the side if he wasn't afraid of her tearing his dick off with those metal teeth.

Then there was her kid, that weirdo hybrid who didn't make sense.

'Fucking freak, that one,' and he wasn't even talking about racism.

That kid wasn't normal and it showed in his ridiculous Semblanc-

He almost didn't catch it in time but Aron heard the whistle of a knife in the air and snatched it out of the air with a flick of the wrist.

His black eyes narrowed before his tan skin creased with a snarl as he crushed the throwing item in his-

The paper on the back of it lit up and his eyes widened before an explosion rocked the area and tossed him into a tree and snapped it in half. The large man growled as he rolled to a stop, hands digging troughs in the ground.

He looked up at the smoking crater where he'd just been only to lunge out of the way of a set of tags that lit up just like the previous one.

'Exploding paper!?' Who the hell had such a Semblance down here?!

He skidded back before removing his weapons from his back, Black & White, his twin large halberds, were held aloft, the Gravity Dust within the middle of both glowing softly.

When he saw two sets of ten tags coming from different directions he growled before swinging out with his darker-colored halberd and the large swing sent out a wave of purple that hit the tags before sending them falling to the floor.

The large explosions covered his vision in smoke and dirt, getting a curse from his lips. Aron swung out with a wave of Aura, dispersing the clo-

He turned and slammed White into a pair of chakrams that flew back into the distance before disappearing as a 'phantom' snatched it out of the air.

'... A clone Semblance?' The idea was frustrating as he swung out with his axes, clearing his vision. 'Such a bullshi…!?" His eyes widened as, once the smoke cleared from his vision, he was treated to the sight of knocked-out men and women like him.

Sitting atop a pile of unconscious, groaning, bodies was a man bearing his chest with an arm wrapped in bandages and his face covered by a wolf's mask.

"It's you?!" Aron roared at Obito as he raised, and pointed, a halberd at him. "Let me guess, a newbie bounty hunter seeking to make a name for himself?"

"..." Obito cupped his chin before shrugging. "Just making some room," he said, voice high-pitched and naively happy. "Uh-Oh! Look out!" He shrieked and pointed to the man's left.

Aron's head snapped in that direction to see nothing-

His vision shook as a sandal slammed into the back of his head, causing him to stumble.

"W-What?!" He turned his head behind him to see a woman with a bronze mask and chakrams. "You attacked me earlier," Aron said more than asked.

The woman shrugged with a chuckle before pointing one of her weapons at him.

His eyes narrowed as he swung out and blocked an Aura Shot of gray energy. Aron charged Vernal and she did the same to him.

Two meters apart, he swung out with Black and she flipped over it before slamming the back of her leg into his side, causing him to fold before his head snapped up from a slicing chakram.

Vernal grinned behind her mask as she dodged Aron's retaliating swings with an agility that confused the man as he stumbled back, letting out rapid gasps as he turned his head to look at Obito's still-seated position. 'He's not going to do anything?'

So he was not on his side but, possibly, not on this woman's either. If he could deal with her first, Aron might be able to handle this guy as well.

"Yo!" He shouted as he blocked Vernal's dropkick before swinging out and catching nothing. "Come on, man! Handle this bitch with me and you can have her!" Aron pleaded with Obito who tilted his head at him.

"Huh?"

"Think about it!" Aron jumped atop a stone outcropping, eyes narrowed. "She can't handle the both of us!"

"She seems just fine, though!" Obito cried before pointing dramatically at Vernal. "She looks so threatening!"

"Fucking, you're with her, aren't you?!"

Aron growled as he swung out with White and Vernal blocked his blow with both her chakrams. He grinned as he swung around with Black, body completely thrown into the swing.

She couldn't block this! This was one down-

Then she sent out a pulse of Aura from her feet and was up and over him, Aron's eyes widening as he overreached before being sent flying by a kick from Vernal's Tempered leg.

"Hmph," she charged him and Aron didn't get to block her upcoming kick that sent his head flying into the wall of a 'home'. "Haaa!"

Her foot slammed him through the two walls of the faux home before he rolled to a stop, back against a large stone outcropping.

"Ha. Ha. Ha," he grit his teeth as he got up before wincing as his vision flashed. "W-Why the hell is she so strong?!"

"Training," Obito said in his jovial voice, crouching by the wanted man who choked as he turned his head to see him. "Why, I bet she could handle a whole Goliath!"

The criminal of criminals grit his teeth as he swung his hand out in a backhand that flowed through the masked man's face, causing Aron to pale.

"Now, that's not nice," Obito said ominously as the criminal scrambled back against the outcropping as Vernal landed. "Very bad for you."

Aron growled at them, brandishing Black & White with a mounting gold Aura.

"I won't lose to some bitch bounty hunters!" He roared as he charged.

~Vernal's Day~

The masked woman clapped her hands in joy as Aron laid before her, beaten to a pulp, bearing several large bumps, and knocked out while being wrapped in ninja wire.

"Our payment?" Vernal asked as she crossed her arms, Obito nodding as he stood there with his hands at his sides.

"Of course," the woman said with a grin as she snapped her fingers and one of the two bodyguards from before came forth with a banded stack of lien. "That good enough?"

Obito accepted the money and swiped through it at high speeds before pocketing it, nodding as the woman made a confused sound.

"It's good," Obito said to his partner who nodded. "Take it easy, Ms. Jade."

They vanished from their spots, blurs that bounded down the rooftops of the 'market'.

Ms. Jade froze as they vanished from sight before her hands clenched and unclenched.

"There's certainly a tide of change about," she said to her people before turning to the wrapped up wanted man. "Now, let's deal with him."

~NRK~

"What did you think of it?" Vernal asked Obito as the two of them tree hopped. "Like the bounty hunter life?"

"It's kind of fun," Obito said as they kept moving. "That said, I've got a candy shop and four women to make happy, no time."

Vernal chuckled as they landed in a surprisingly large area. "... Anything around?"

"..." Obito held up a handsign and focused on the area around them. "... About four Grimm to the north but that's it within a three-kilometer range."

"Easy!".

~XXX~

She growled in want as they sparred, her kicks blocked or grabbed… to frustrating effects.

Obito grinned across from her, the two in their underwear, and, even as he blushed like a rose, he knew to take advantage of these moments.

He always passed his hands over her inner thighs before she got away from him with a red face, his erection showing and his gaze hungry but Obito knew he was winning.

"You bitch!" She tried to circle him but Obito simply copied her, the two moving in a quickly closing circle.

He'd lunged and she'd done the same only for him to catch a Vernal Shade, the Aura phantom dissipating in his arms, leaving him open for her side-tackle that sent him onto his back and her crotch to his crotch.

Obito was bright red as Vernal straddled his erection with her thighs and then private area, his hands carved out the dirt beneath his palms as she pressed down on his chest and rolled her hips.

"I-I won't-" He tried to fend off her attempts, verbally, but froze as she rose her hips and dropped them, her covered sex sliding against his erection. "?!"

His hips tried to buck and she used her training and locked them together, Aura acting as the damn frustrating tape keeping their hips together.

Vernal grinned down at him before squeezing her thighs around his and leaning down, pecking him on the lips.

"Give up," she said with a smug expression as she rolled her hips again and Obito's toes curled. "Give in, bitch. I've got this in the bag. I know you want to tap my ass until we're knocking souls."

Obito hated how right she was but knew that she wasn't all the way there yet, he had to persevere.

"Do… You-"

"Do me? Well," she rolled up some more and he gasped. "Well, if you want."

Vernal's agility still shocked him to this day as he found his head sandwiched by her thighs before her notable scent hit him.

His member twitched and she grinned down at him, cheeks red but eyes alight with need.

Obito's eyebrows furrowed and he did what he had to do.

Vernal's back arched as he latched onto her pussy through the cloth of her underwear. Legs were locked around his head by Obito's powerful arms, his grip on her absolute.

He lapped at her crotched with a powerful tongue before licking sideways, playing the teasing as her panties shifted in and out of the way with each lick.

Vernal tensed as he did this, Obito's eye looking up at her face in defiance before laying a powerful suck on the spot where he knew her clitoris to be and Vernal bit her pointer and middle fingers.

"Mmmm!" She felt her lower body throb with each flicker and suck, nearing climax.

Obito knew that she was getting close, her bud had already hardened enough to the point that he was reminded of Velvet's own when she was near the 'finish line'. So, he nodded before… stopping.

Vernal's eyes widened as she looked down at him and Obito blew out a breath at her ultra-sensitive sex, the woman's eyes flickering as she tried to buck into his mouth and he held her legs down.

'No, no, no, no, no, no, no!' Her mind repeated the word in horror and disbelief. 'H-He's not actually-'

Obito slipped out from beneath her with Kamui before grinning at her with his erection staring at her face, face as red as a dying star but his mouth set in a triumphant grin.

"Give in," he whispered as she locked onto his hard member. "Just do it, Vernal. All you have to do is give in and you can get the dick you want."

Vernal did want it. She was dying of thirst over here!

… but she'd be damned before she gave in! Obito wanted to play the edging game. Well, guess what bitch?!

Two could play that game.

Obito knew he was playing with a wildfire, Vernal's eyes were slowly regaining their gleam of confidence.

… He quickly slammed her onto the ground, her eyes wide, before his hands followed.

Wooden vines spread out before capturing her limbs and his Sharingan blazed to life before he settled between her hips and dragged his erection over her sensitive parts.

And she shuddered like creaking machinery, his own sex was painfully hard and he knew he'd lose if he came first.

So Obito leaned down and sucked on one of her nipples and Vernal screamed bloody murder at him as his cock simply laid against her wanting sex.

Then she came, her body spasming as he gave one last lick to top her off before simply sitting between her legs and growling as her sex trembled against his own before moistening it with her essence.

She rode it out for close to thirty seconds, causing his member to become soaked through his boxers and leaving him wanting to just take her right then and there but he knew his win conditions.

As Vernal laid there, gasping, he released the vines holding her down and leaned back on his hands.

"You won't win," he declared to her with slow breaths as her eyes looked down at him. "Give in, face defeat…"

Vernal knew her legs weren't working right now but there was a reason why she was an agile fighter.

Obito had let out a breath up into the air only to twitched as a pair of familiar long eyelashes appeared in his vision, arms locking around his neck.

"Hm… I'm gonna win," she whispered into his ear and they both felt how hard he'd just gotten, his 'cool down' completely ignored. "No matter what," their lips met shortly. "No matter where," they pressed their lips together further, deepening the kiss.

Tongues came into play and, soon enough, they were making out for a minute or so before separating and pressing their foreheads together.

"I. Ain't. Losing. Prepare to get ridden like a fucking horse when you give in, think about it."

"I have for over two days, trust me, I'll expect that when you lose."

~XXX (Continued)~

The next morning, Saturday morning, Obito knew that this would be the day. Not only were they running out of time… he didn't have a good sleep… like, at all.

Wet dreams that left him more frustrated than he understood. Thankfully, and erroneously, they slept in the nude last night, and never had he more wanted to jump Vernal than when she was naked, pressed against him, and expecting him too.

Dressed in dark blue shorts, his black ninja sandals, and a pair of gloves, he was going commando not because he was out of clothes but because he knew they were on the cusp.

Vernal, 'dressed' with some bandages binding her chest and a loincloth for her lower half, knew as well. Obito could see her nipples through the bandages and wanted to tease her against a tree just by that little fact alone.

Meanwhile, the woman had seen his unattended member the night before and knew he was hurting something fierce, most likely. All to plan.

'I'm not going to lose,' they thought in unison as they packed up and were on the move again. Walking instead of tree hopping.

Vernal knew they were a mere 10 miles from their destination, Oasis, a town still in the Outlands but also near to the eastern ocean of Mistral. It was close to being a port town but the people within seemed to have chosen to enjoy the aesthetic with others going to the ocean and forming the port town of Clayes. The settlement had a large amount of the substance and was famous for its pottery.

Soon, they'd be surrounded by people and Vernal knew that wouldn't do. She knew how she wanted things to go and would not be denied-

She felt his breath on her neck, his arms around her waist, and his erection against her rear. The loincloth was more of a tight skirt with long sashes at the front and back, so it wasn't thick enough, thankfully, to ignore 'him'.

Obito had seen how her hips begged him to control them and had, unfortunately, given in. He couldn't handle the frustration from last night and the view before him.

Vernal growled as he nipped at her neck before her hands found his and slowly lowered them to the edges of her loincloth.

This all happened on autopilot and Obito's hands quickly slipped in and massaged the bare pussy beneath, she'd also gone commando, it seemed.

His dexterous fingers spread her folds and began encircling her walls before slipping down to the hole and plunging in.

Vernal let out a low moan as he pressed his body flushed with hers, an arm around her midsection while the other's hand did its work. She grit her teeth and her toes curled as it plunged in a quick fashion, the already sensitive, from the night before, woman wetting the digit with ease.

"I knew it," he whispered into her hair before removing his hand from her loincloth. "Strip."

The flap of clothes behind her told her he'd done the same, the feeling of his member more pronounced against her butt as she unwrapped her chest bindings first.

Her hands were on her loincloth and made to release it but Obito's hands latched onto hers and soon she was up against a tree, hands placed against it.

"I can't wait," he hissed into her ear and held both her hands up with one of his own. "You're gonna get exactly what you deserve, bitch."

Vernal squirmed at the word, feeling her sensitive nipples, even with them being covered by her Aura, flick against the trees' hardwood and she hitched her ass up, just the right height for Obito's member to slide between her thighs.

"..."

"..."

The feeling was hard to compare, especially with how 'on edge' both were on, but the feeling of it sliding from between her thighs sent pleasure to Obito's brain and he growled before letting it pat against her sex and pressed it up more as he searched for her hole.

It was like being teased times a thousand. 'Find it, find it, find it, find it!' She begged mentally as she felt each poke fill her stomach with want.

Then he found the hole and stroked against it, getting a tremble from her body, before slowly working it in.

She hissed out in pleasure, her hymen had long since been broken, with how they trained, years ago. Though the stretching to conform to him had been a surprise but a pleasant one.

Then her eyes flashed and Vernal balked at what had just happened.

'You've got to be fucking-'

Obito plunged all the way inside and she lost her train of thought, his member's twitching, presence, and warmth filling her senses as Obito nudged at her head with his own.

"Tell me when-"

"Move now!" She pleaded, getting a snort from her lover before he did as told. "Fuuuucking, yesss," Vernal moaned out as she felt him slide out before plunging back in. "No stopping!"

Obito rolled his eye before taking his hands off her hips and placing them next to her own hands. Vernal let out some gibberish as he rocked his hips back and forth, the bareness of his member giving her the entire package. Vernal was the last person worried about getting knocked up. She didn't live in 'society' and had more than enough funds to handle her lifestyle should she get the D without care.

So, the two learned what pure, unprotected, sex felt like and they couldn't get enough of it.

Obito kept a steady rhythm while Vernal raised her hips to get more of the feeling of Obito plunging into the deepest parts of her sex. The man soon gripped her hands and held them down in a form of dominance that had his cock-plunging messing with her mind.

'Fuck meeee, yes, right-Mmmmm!' She couldn't think, how could she?

She was getting the D that many of the females she knew told her about. Nrki's own experience had intrigued her but Velvet's had filled her in on exactly what she wanted to know.

Right then and there, Vernal felt Obito's raging lust, his frustrations, his mind giving in to the position of doing nothing but screwing her lights out and she wore a shaky grin as their muscular bodies stayed flush against one another as their hips performed.

Obito felt Vernal's eagerness, her demanding nature giving way to a slightly submissive one and accepting his member like it was a gift from the gods this world praised.

Vernal's switch between the two nearly caused him to up his speed but he wanted this moment to last for a long time and so, against his primal instincts, pounded her at an achingly slower pace.

That said, he was approaching his first climax, his cock throb and engorged itself as he growled into her ear.

"I'm… about to do it," he got out and her head turned to look at him. "?!" His eye widened at the sight of the normally abrasive, powerful, demanding Vernal's… lost expression.

She'd given into the moment and was lost in the throes of passion and lust that was sex.

Something in his mind 'clicked' and his biceps bulged as he rammed her down, the girl letting out un-Vernal-like moans and noises that absorbed his thoughts and led him down the path of pleasing her. At the moment, she was his goddess of love, passion, and lust.

And so Obito made his cock his offering, his ramming hips his prayers, his grunts her praises, and his mind her domain. The woman before him taking all of him and giving him rewards.s

They breathed in unison as his hips thrust one last time, locking against her own as he climaxed.

"Nnnrrrggg," he grunted before releasing a long moan as his forehead rest against the back of her head, Vernal's fingers crushing the tree where they were.

Vernal felt like the world focused in on that one moment as Obito came and his cum rushed into her unprotected canal. The warmth filled the entirety of her abdomen and she let out a final hiss as she came, her walls constricting his member and draining him of his essence to the last drop.

The world at large returned to her and her mind, while foggy, noted the position they were in, the sounds of their unified breathing, the feeling of Obito on, and in, her, as the taste of forest, touched her tongue.

They stayed that way for minutes before settling down, bags off their backs, and just resting at the moment.

"Ha… Haa… How'd you… like it?" Obito asked her as he nuzzled her hair, Vernal's hands rested against his chest as her head fell onto his shoulder, the two adults sitting side-by-side. "Thoughts?"

"... Pheewwww," Vernal let out a relieved breath and let out an amused snort. "Fucking magical."

He laughed at that and she followed suit, the two cackled or chortled like fools before just resting against one another.

Obito let out a hum and spread out his senses, feeling for Grimm or people, and came back with a trio of Grimm a mile back the way they came and two to the south of them.

Informing her, she groaned as she placed her head down on his shoulders.

"WAY too sore for that, bud."

"We can rest until they come any kind of close," Obito said with a chuckle before performing a set of hand seals.

The Shosen no Jutsu came to life in his hands before he rubbed Vernal's thighs, the woman moaning in relief and pleasure as the sores and aches fell away slowly but surely.

Obito felt himself getting excited once more and did his best to not focus on Vernal's perk breasts next to his head.

Once she was fully relieved of her aches and pains, Vernal had grinned when Obito made a moat for cleaning themselves off.

They'd went two more rounds before that and then cleaned off, those Grimm not too far off now, what with all the screaming on Vernal's behalf.

~Vernal's Day~

Obito let out a hiss as he descended into the cool waters, his swim trunks on, before smiling as he leaned against the embankment.

"Okay, wow, this place is amazing," he said to the woman who just slipped in before she laid her head on his shoulder. "Seriously, I'm touched."

"Hehe~" Vernal grinned as she stepped into the water before laying her head on his other shoulder, a glowing scroll behind the three. "I knew this thing had more 'versatile' uses."

Obito blinked as both Vernal and her copy grinned lewdly at him.

"Well… I should have known-"

They made him well aware of how versatile the Kage Bunshin no Fuin Shiki was.

~Vernal's Day~

Resting in their shared motel room at the Hot Spot, Obito laid down in a pair of black boxer briefs and a similarly black tank top. Vernal finished using the bathroom and came out with her chest bindings on and a pair of Obito's black boxer briefs on.

Coming over, she tilted to the side before collapsing into a free space on the rather large bed they'd gotten with the room. With the money from Ms. Jade, they'd easily been capable of purchasing this rather pricey room and got the full extra package for two-plus rooms with some extra scratch to spare.

Turning on his side, he shifted the combover part of her mullet to the side, gaining her attention.

"?"

"... Nah, just curious about your hair," he said with a chuckle as she raised a brow at him. "... Hey, Vernal, do you remember when we came over to win back Raven?"

"... I think so," she said as she closed her eyes, his fingers messing with her hair rather soothing. "Why?"

"... We did a lot today," he admitted with red cheeks, getting a snort from her. "And, surprise surprise, no condom."

"Oh, that," she breathed through her nose and looked at the ceiling, an amazing starlit pattern over it. "... Well, I think that if it happens, it happens. The fact is that I'm not like Cinder, Velvet, and Winter. I live a life where, even now, we could die one day. That's why you have to live each day to the fullest, it won't matter when you're dead so you have to enjoy it while you can."

"... Yeah, hmph, that seems like you," Obito said with a chuckle and a grin. "So, ever thought of a name for him?"

"I'm thinking… Kawaki," she said with a grin that he chuckled at.

"What, not set on a girl?"

"Call it a hunch," Vernal said with a hum. "Yeah, I bet you he'd have short black hair in a mullet, like his awesome mom's," she smirked smugly even as her cheeks reddened. "I think he'd get the doc's genes, though."

"Your granddad's?"

"Yup," Vernal said with a shake of the head. "As it turns out, my hair's a rarity from my parents. The Doc told me that I was brown-haired even though my parents were both blondes."

"Wow," Obito blinked and she snickered. "I could totally see that. I bet he'd have blue eyes!"

"Then I'd bet he has some kind of arm thing for a Semblance."

"Ho ho?" Obito grinned lazily at her and she cackled. "You think my arm beats out my eyes?"

"Call it a hunch," she said with a grin and they laughed.

Whatever came, they'd handle it.

They all could, together.

And so, Saturday ended.

~Vernal's Day~

Sunday morning found the girls reconvening in Cinder's room.

"So, how was it?" Velvet asked with a smile and Vernal cracked a wicked smirk. "That good, huh?"

"Heh, you were onto something when you talked about that emotional stuff," Vernal said, gaining Winter and Cinder's attention. "Trust me, when you end up screwin', it's gonna be like only you two matter in the world. It happened in a forest, an Obito-made moat, and a motel room," she said with red cheeks and a grin as Cinder and Winter blushed hard while Velvet only blushed a little.

'... After we've all gotten our day with him,' she finalized.

No double-dipping until everyone got theirs and, at that moment, it was Cinder's turn.

"So, Cinder," Winter cleared her throat, turning with Velvet and Vernal to the mouse Faunus who blushed. "For your time, this Thursday, I know you're scared, you have every right to be," the vice-president said, getting a blink from her Faunus counterpart. "So, I considered this, we'll help you prepare for the ball."

"W-Wait, really?" Cinder swallowed and blushed all at the same time. "I-I'm… I'm grateful, really."

"I know," Winter said with soft eyes and an assertive nod. "That said, you're going to need to project an image of complete and total control," she said with an intent that only Cinder really understood. "For everything to get well, that's the key."

"... H-Hmph," she swallowed but looked determined. "W-What do I have to do?"

"Well, for one, we'll need Obito's scrolls for this," Winter said with a nod. "We're each going to handle a part of your defenses. Velvet will handle clothing," Velvet nodded. "I'll handle proper etiquette," Cinder smiled gratefully, an action easily returned. "And, finally, Vernal-"

"Will be teaching you how to navigate a bunch of assholes!" Vernal spoke up with a grin. "Trust me, there are all kinds of asshats in Atlas."

"... I feel mildly offended," Winter said with a raised brow at Vernal's smile.

"Exactly," the mercenary said with a smirk as Winter huffed a bit. "Not completely offended. You know exactly the kind of people that'll be at the ball."

"... Sadly, that is the case," Winter said with a sigh at Cinder's confused expression. "... C-Cinder, you're like a sister to me," the Faunus smiled. "But… You are remarkably attractive," Winter said with her face in her hands.

"?"

"She means you've got the best looks out of all of us," Vernal explained as Velvet nodded. "Hips that could check a Boartatusk, a chest that could stand above a Nevermore," Cinder burned bright red. "Hair darker than any Grimm and bright eyes. Add on that you're taller than most women and you're fit as fuck," the mouse Faunus scrunched in on herself. "Trust me, people are gonna fall at your feet just to talk to you. The issue comes with the fact that they'll know you aren't from big money."

"... Not necessarily," Winter said after raising her head with a thoughtful expression. "But Councilman Rain does, and Obito's beyond wealthy even with his support to most Faunus causes. All he'd have to do is… w-what is it most people say… 'Fake it until you make it'?"

"I'm liking where your head is at, Winny," Vernal said with a hum. "That said, how does Obito make sure they can fake it?"

"Well," Winter hummed with a smile. "Obito does look fetching in a suit. His hair's slightly long and we could do something with that. Add on that he's w-well-built," Vernal grinned cheekily at that. "As you said to Cinder, Obito is also tall. Taller than most people at such gatherings and any who would be at his eye level would be the highest status, in Atlas. Say, General Ironwood and my father."

"What happens if Cinder encounters someone like them that we don't know?" Velvet asked with a frown as Cinder trembled.

"That's why we're here and Obito is there," Winter said. "Obito can literally never leave Cinder's side, his clones are too perfect for most situations."

Cinder felt some security slip in at that. Obito never let her down in wanting to protect.

It made her love him that much more.

"So all we can do is prepare ya," Vernal said. "Trust me, though, the night after," Vernal's mouth set in such a large grin, they thought it'd split her face. "Holy shit, Cindy."

Cinder blushed at that before steeling her resolve.

"Can you tell me all the details?"

"Fucking right."

~Vernal's Day~

She looked at the invitation with a smile.

With how well the hotel was going, even with the loss of that filthy mouse a decade ago, Madame Griselda Tremaine felt confident in their chances.

Her daughters were far greater in value than their station would make many assume. Anastasia was already turning down suitors left and right and Drizella was far smarter than many of the young ones in the ball, most likely.

She grinned.

This was their ticket to a grander standing and no one could bring that down.

~Vernal's Day~

Obito went to work Monday morning with a smile on his face as his girls were currently upstairs in his apartment, teaching Cinder.

Out of the door to the stair, Vernal came over with a yawn, one of his black shirts on, and her feet in some fuzzy rhino slippers that he'd bought one day.

It should also be noted that there were several others with Velvet having one that had the picture of coffee on it.

"Mmm, come on, dude, top me off," she said as she sat at the counter, much to his amusement, with her head on her arms. "I want something that'll knock me on my ass and then fight me in round 2."

"Hm, hm, hm," Obito chuckled as he moved around a coffee pot before adding in some hot chocolate, a little bit of an energy drink, a bit of powdered sugar, and some whipped cream. "Here, it's sweet enough that that coffee, which is from the deepest depths of Vacuan cuisine, won't destroy all your taste buds in one go."

Vernal blinked blearily at the offered drink before holding it-

"Up, hold on!" Obito said as he touched the side of the drink with his finger and visible chakra slipped in, confusing Vernal. "I figured out that my chakra can help, sort of, mix tastes well."

"... Weird," she said before sipping on her offered caffeine. "...?!" Vernal nearly choked as her pupils dilated. "Holy shit, what'd you put in this, heroine?!"

"Hahaha," Obito wiped his eye. "No, that's just what perfectly mixed sugar, energy drinks, taurine, and the world's strongest coffee tastes like."

She swallowed more and grinned as she stretched. "Okay, okay! I'm liking being on speed without being on speed!"

Obito chuckled as he and his clones set up shop before there was a ring at the door, a familiar scaled-eyebrow teen came through the doors followed by…

'Oh fuck my life,' Obito uttered mentally as he saw Tock, Tyrian, Scorpa, and Gage, all together, a big old family. 'Fuck my life hard.'

This couldn't end well.

~Vernal's Day (END)~

~Omake: I Can Save the Future! Part III Ft. Obito, Summer, Ruby, and Cinder~

The dawn was approaching and, with it, the group saw the encroaching darkness on the horizon.

"... I-It's so big…" Marrow realized in horror as his tail fell limp. "W-What are we going to do about that thing?!"

"Hm?" Summer blinked at the dog Faunus before smiling. "Oh, no, me, Ruby, and Obito will take care of it," she said easily, startling the group, before looking back at the thing. "Obito? How much firepower do you think it'd need?"

"Hmm," Obito considered it. "That's a wide slice, mom. That's going to need at least three good Bursts."

"Ah, that's a lot," Summer frowned as an old woman at her side, a former Silver-Eyed Warrior by the name of Maria Calavera, balked at her. "Maria? Can you hold out for that long?"

"Summer, my body's rather brittle… Give or take ten minutes!" Maria considered before smiling and tapping her cane against the floor, white lines forming as she drew them out. "And, even then, I can support you all from here. I was taught by my own father about all the arts. This should be adequate," she said before stamping the cane down.

The group of Obito, Ruby, Rubes, Summer, and Cinder found a large circle beneath them, spiraling for a moment before white lines of light traveled up their bodies and created skull-like marks that stuck onto their cheeks.

"The ability to cast your own 'Eyes'... Right?" Oscar asked unsurely and Maria smiled.

"Our blood is special," she said as she looked at Ruby, Obito's Ruby. "Among all else, our powers are to protect. My Specialty with our bloodline is to 'engrave'. I used to make all kinds of stylized skulls back at my hometown when I found out."

"So this is another way of using our eyes, mom?" Ruby asked as Rubes nodded in curiosity. "... And our specialty is 'Weapons'," Ruby said to Rubes who blinked before stroking Crescent Rose.

"I always did feel more connected to weapons… but I've never done something like Maria does," Rubes said as Yang hummed.

"When you awakened your eyes, Ruby, I'm assuming it was during a time of stress," Summer asked softly and Jaune wore a sad smile.

"... Our friend, Pyrrha, she…" Rubes grimaced as her grip on her scythe tightened. "She passed on and I just… I was so angry and disappointed in not being able to save her I-"

"Shhh, shhh, it's fine," Summer embraced her alternate timeline daughter who melted into her embrace. "... I know. I'm guessing, in that situation, you never knew."

"... I didn't," Rubes said as she let go and wiped her eyes. "We traveled through Mistral to get to Atlas and that's when Maria taught me how to use my eyes… The Flash… Hm, hm."

Ironwood frowned as he looked at Oscar who rubbed the back of his head.

"... Haaa, apologies, Oscar, but there were many things that Ozpin and I didn't agree on. I didn't understand how he could just leave Ruby's people alone without having them trained in the ways of their eyes."

"... I know what you're thinking, James," Oscar said with a frown as he held onto Ozpin's cane. "And… Learning all I have about those with Silver Eyes, I think you're right… to an extent," James frowned but his eyebrow rose. "I saw some of his… 'ideas'," Oscar said as his eyes flickered to Ruby. "He didn't want them treated like soldiers and, in a way, he's right. They should get to choose whatever livelihood they wanted… but I can't understand why he never kept them in touch. For those who wanted to help, why are they so few that Ruby is a rarity?"

"... I don't know," James said as he looked at Salem's arrival. "... At first, I was skeptical of these things, those with Silver Eyes were myths-"

"But then you met me, right?" Summer asked with a smile and James nodded. "Ozpin asked me to show James how my eyes worked when we were about twenty. I was still getting used to my eyes."

"Wait, I'm curious," Jaune spoke up as he sheathed his sword, eyes blinking. "Shouldn't Ruby have… grandparents?" He asked with a raised brow as Summer tilted her head. "I understand that you weren't… around to give her tips but, surely, Ruby had other people with her eyes who could teach her… right?"

"That would be incorrect," Obito said. "The thing is, mom was an orphan in the beginning."

"Wait, what?!" Yang balked. "H-Hold on, mom!?"

"Well… yeah, it's as your brother said," Summer said with some nervous laughter. "From what I knew in the orphanage I grew up in, I was just… dropped off, one day. I never knew my parents' names or faces so I just never thought about it."

"... Alright, thanks. And, sorry, for bringing up any bad memories."

"No, it's fine," Summer said with a smile. "If anything, I think it's good that someone asked. Having Ruby potentially run off to find people who might even be here anymore isn't exactly… nice to think about," both Rubys blushed. "That said, we should all remember our jobs. Son?"

"Alright, James, Oscar, Jaune, Clover, Qrow, Cinder," the aforementioned individuals in question stepped forward. "The plan is as discussed. James is to rally the troops on the ground. They need their General now more than ever."

"Of course," James said as he settled a hand on the grip of his gun. "I'll lead them to as many paths of victories as we can find."

"I'm glad we have you," Obito said with a nod before turning to Jaune and Oscar. "With Rubes working with us, you two and Clover are working as James's eyes and ears. You are his captains for the length of this arrangement."

"I-I'm still not so sure about this," Oscar said with a grimace. "Will those soldiers really follow my orders?"

"They will," James said with a reassuring nod. "Not just that, the AceOps are also there alongside the rest of Team RWBY and JNR, you'll have as many hands to help."

"... Very well," Oscar nodded with sharp eyes. "I'll lead them as well as I can," he said, turning to Jaune with a nervous smile. "I hope you don't mind my mistakes."

"We're all here to work together, we'll cover for you where you have weak points," Jaune said as he looked at Ren and Nora. "Right guys?"

"Of course," Ren said with a smile as Nora grinned.

"Big Sis has gotcha covered!"

"... Thanks, I mean it," Oscar said with a grin as the group nodded.

"Qrow, you're providing aerial support for the four of us along with Cinder while Maria will handle our buffs," the three nodded. "Cinder is going to be guarded by Blake, Penny, and Harriet. Your job is simply to defeat any Grimm who come in close. Harriet is going to be working as the scout and defense while you two will either stay in the shadows," Blake nodded. "Or be at her side with your omnidirectional ability," Penny smiled

"Got it," Harriet said with crossed arms and a grin as Penny and Blake nodded at her.

"I will be in your care… Though," Blake turned to Cinder with a nervous smile. "I don't mean any offense, it's just… odd to think any form of Cinder is on our side."

"I know," Cinder smiled and Blake chuckled. "Meeting the me here has been… enlightening, I guess," she said with a sad smile that Blake's gaze softened at. "It's going to take a while coming to terms with her… my possible path but I know I'll have those around me's care and protection."

"... Hm, hm, I'm glad."

"Same!" Penny said with a grin and a salute. "Salutations, Alternate Cinder."

"Alright, is anyone not clear on the plan?" Obito asked and no such answers. "Alright then! Get to work! Operation Our Next Dawn has officially started!"

The groups nodded before many jumped off the top of James's office building, the group using the architecture of Atlas to move down.

When most were gone, Yang came up to Obito who smiled only to blink as she embraced him.

"... Hmph, you'll do well, stay strong," he said, holding her at arm's length and grinning before they bumped fists. "After this is all over with, I'll make you guys a feast you'll never forget."

"I'll hold you to that!" Yang said with a grin before hugging Ruby. "Oh~ Younger baby sister! I remember when you were this cute!"

"W-Wait, I'm cute now!" Rubes said with indignation before being pulled into a bear hug. "Y-Yang! T-Too tight!"

"Hehehehe," Yang grinned as she released both gasping brunettes, hands on her hips. "And that'll remind ya that we're all here. Watch your backs out there," she said with a determined smile before turning to Summer who smiled, arms out as her cloak held her scythe.

They hugged deeply, holding one another at arm's length to share a smile.

"I'll see you when this is over," Summer whispered as she brushed some of Yang's hair to the side of her forehead, grinning. "That's a Supermom Promise!" She said with a grin as Yang's eyes shined with a powerful light.

Then the woman kissed her on the forehead and Yang's cheeks radiated heat.

"U-Uhh, yeah, I, uh… LATER!" She jumped off the area in embarrassment, leaving Qrow, Summer, the Rubys, Obito, Cinder, Penny, Blake, Harriet, Winter, Maria, and James to chuckle in amusement.

"Alright," the general said with a nod. "Schnee."

"Affirmative," Winter said with a nod as her eyes burned bright blue powerful orbs peered out at the darkness with a narrow. "I'm ready." She whispered to the ether and closed her eyes when she felt that astral hand on her shoulder.

"You are."

"Alright, let's go," James said with a nod as he walked to the edge of the roof. "I will see you all after this, this is a no-disagreement contract."

The others chuckled as Obito answered. "Agreed."

"Take it easy, James, we all want to be in… well," Qrow realized this got away from him before James chuckled.

"Yes, one piece is kind of hard but I'll try," he said with a grin before jumping. "Your jokes are as bad as eveeeerrrrrr!"

"No there not!"

Obito shook his head before turning to Cinder, Harriet, Blake, and Penny. "You know the location."

"Let's hit it, ladies!" Harriet said and Obito snorted as she led the way away. "I'm down for crushing some skulls!"

Blake and Penny nervously smiled or saluted, respectively, before following along.

Cinder smiled at that before speedwalking to Obito.

The two pecked lips once before hugging.

"We'll be back."

"I know you will," Obito said as he held her at arm's length. "Love you," he said softly as he moved a strand of her raven locks to the side.

"I love you, too," Cinder whispered with red cheeks before they let go and she ran after her group.

"Ho, ho, ho, I get the feeling you wanted more than just a little kiss."

"H-Harriet! T-That's not-!"

"It's cute."

"T-Thank you, Blake, but I-"

"Hmmm! Kisses are meant to be enjoyed, Alt. Cinder! Why you should have stolen several more… I believe that's the right slang."

"?!"

Obito shook his head before rolling his eye at Qrow.

"And there are three more?" He asked in awe and Obito groaned.

"Glad to know you haven't changed across timelines, geez," Obito shook his head at the man's grin. "You ever consider settling down?"

"W-What?!"

"Hmmm!" Summer grinned and her face lit up, getting a paling Qrow for her efforts. "That sounds like a good thing, Qrow! I knew I was forgetting something!"

So as Qrow was lambasted to the high heavens, Obito walked over to Winter who looked out at the battlefield.

"You alright with all this?" He asked this copy of his girl. "Finalizing some thoughts?"

"... I'm simply processing all this one more time," Winter said as she looked at him with a smile. "It's still rather amazing."

"Well, you'll have all the time to think this over after this battle," he said with a grin and she chuckled. "You're strong, Winter, don't let anyone say otherwise."

"..." She smiled and Obito chuckled.

Then there was the press of lips against his own and froze as they were taken away rather quickly.

"U-Um, that is, bye!"

She disappeared in an explosion of air, leaving a shocked Obito, Qrow, Summer, Maria, and the two Rubys.

"W-What is this magic?!"

"Qrow, for the love of, shut up!" Obito said with a red face before dragging his hands down it. "I seriously don't get women."

~NRK~

She watched from her envoy, those little humans moving about before her red eyes tinted yellow and she saw all the little lights that dotted the kingdom of Atlas.

'So insignificant,' she considered, a bare few of those 'lights' being of considerable power. '... And yet…' Her mouth let out a hiss as she remembered her message.

That man… Who was that man!? Cinder had told her nothing about him and none of those on the whale seemed to know either!

~NRK~

"What do you think about everything that's going on?" Emerald asked a young gray-haired man at her side, the boy frowning as they sat in his room. "This guy who Salem's… afraid of?"

"It's probably nonsense," the boy with gray eyes said. "How can Salem be afraid, she's literally impossible to beat."

"... Then why'd she ask us about this 'Obito' person, Mercury?"

"... Likely a minor setback," he said with a frown. "Ems, let me fill you in on something, we can't lose. When you have a damn near-infinite amount of Grimm that feedback loop when they die, what's there to beat?"

"... What do you happened to Cinder?"

"She's either still moving around with Watts or in jail," Emerald froze and he frowned. "... Emerald, seriously, this entire thing you have with Cinder, it seriously needs to stop."

"W-What?!" Emerald Sustrai grimaced in annoyance. "What are yo-"

"Let's be honest here," he stood up and turned to face her. "Emerald, why are you here?"

"?!" Emerald flinched back. "W-What do you mean?"

"You've literally already started saying shit about not feeling good on this side," Mercury said with a flat face as she looked down. "I don't care what you do in the end, Ems, I'm a pessimist by trade, but I have tons of problems with people who can't get themselves together."

"... Cinder cared about us."

"... Do you honestly believe that?" Mercury asked in horror as Emerald didn't look at him. "Emerald, I'm going to say this outright, we are NOT the good guys, okay?" Her hands clenched. "You seem to have this weird idea on what Cinder means to you, fucking love, family, even just a fucking best friend, but she. Does. NOT. Cinder has always abandoned us whenever she wanted to do her own shit. No words, no contact, no nothing. And the moment she comes back, you welcome her with opening arms like a damn dog."

"So, what, no allegiances for assassins?!" Emerald growled at his neutral if not pitying expression. "Cinder has to have cared for us… i-if she didn't-"

"Emerald, we're going to hell."

The room was silent as her eyes widened and she swallowed but her throat felt so tight.

"You can feel as bad as you want, you could WANT something more but guess what," Mercury raised his arms to his sides, not a smug smile in sight and Emerald wasn't sure if that didn't just make his words worse to listen to. "You could go and throw yourself into prison but, guess what, we're going to HELL at the end of our lives and that's because we follow an egomaniac whose idea of power is destroying KINGDOMS alongside what might as well be a vocal, walking, Grimm. This is not a situation we come out of with our heads held high, we never did."

"..." Her hands fell limp at her sides as Mercury's eyes faded into apathy, sitting back down on his bed. "... Why are you here if you know that?"

"Because I'm a pessimist," he said softly and she sat on his bed while holding her head. "I followed Cinder not because she was some new family," Emerald flinched at the pure venom in Mercury's voice. "I followed her because that's all I had. I'm an assassin, I've killed people with my own fucking feet and that's not going to change. I'm NOT a good person."

The silence that reigned was suffocating and both teens found themselves grimacing at the facts laid out, even if Mercury had been the one to say them, he wasn't exactly happy knowing.

"We watched a kingdom burn to the ground," he said with a whisper. "We all had a part in that and we didn't change a single thing even after Cinder was gone… Emerald, we are NOT people who get happy endings."

And that fact alone broke her.

~NRK~

Many of the soldiers swallowed at the sight of it, that large Grimm in the shape of a whale that eclipsed two entire cruiser liners in length while being one and a half the size of some.

Basically, it was a BFG or BIG FUCKING GRIMM.

Neon Katt swallowed her saliva as she stood alongside many other Atlas Academy students as well as her own team.

"T-This is really happening," she whispered to Flynt Coal, the team leader of their group, Team FNKI. "I'd crack a joke b-but this is…"

"It's fine," he whispered but she saw how he grimaced, his irises reflecting the doom upon them. "... You saw that guy, right? The dude with the red clouds."

"You mean Obito," Jaune said as his group made it to them. "How's it going?"

"Crazy," Flint said.

"... O-Oh, yeah, he was helping down below with all of us," she said as her fear gave some leeway to her curiosity. "You think he's gonna fight with us?"

"He will, we all will," Oscar said with a nod as the two relaxed a bit.

"I hope so," he said before the group of assembled soldiers blinked as General Ironwood and Winter Schnee landed before them. "Oh. Sir!"

All of the others followed his example, saluting their general and his lieutenant.

"My soldiers," James spoke up, back straight, hands folded behind it, and his voice solid and strong. "Today is going to be a dangerous one, there's no point in beating around the bush, the greatest Grimm threat known to man is here. This is worse than the Beacon invasion and you all will find yourselves in a situation where the Grimm will invade all your senses and make you fear them… but I'm here to tell you to NOT fear these creatures!" Ironwood said with a louder inflection. "Around us are more allies who are going to face the greatest amount of the Grimm, your jobs aren't to win this day but to simply survive! You will work together! You will fight!"

"YES, SIR!"

"You will protect all those around you! These are your fellow soldiers, together, we are STRONG!"

"YES, SIR!"

Jaune and Ren hummed at the unified voices while Nora copied everyone else.

Winter hummed before whispering into James's ear.

Should she use her powers regardless of who sees? That was a hard question to answer.

If things went their way then she wouldn't be needed but every bit counted in this possible final fight.

"... If it seems like we're being overtaken, no matter how quickly we might recover, you do what needs to happen," he said and Winter nodded with a smile.

"You all will be following the orders of our faux captains for this day!"

~NRK~

Watching the soldiers get arranged from above, Obito's group did some last-minute prep.

"Obito's going to be going straight for Salem, right?" Rubes asked and Ruby hummed.

"Well, Obito's got way too many skills to just do that," Ruby said, getting a nod from Rubes. "Right now, we should finish up."

"Ruby is right, Rubes," Maria said easily, getting a groan from the older Ruby. "You need to focus on your Specialty. If it's weapons like young Ruby here then you need to find a way to apply it."

"But I don't know how," Rubes whined. "Besides, if it's weapons, then I'd need to make weapons, wouldn't I?"

"Not necessarily," Summer said. "There are 'paths' to how you can apply it. Perhaps you should focus on that."

"Paths…" Rubes looked at her Crescent Rose, eyes moving about the weapon. "Paths…"

Something she could do with weapons in the short time they had.

Alteration

Her eyes widened as white lines spread out from the corners. Rubes's fingers touched the edge of the blade.

Something strong, could tear through Grimm with more ease, and had little wind resistance.

She moved her finger down it and white light followed before it covered the whole blade and it transformed.

It became angled around the tip, coming down for two feet before stopping and the light dispersed in an instant, the motes flying off to reveal the new Crescent Rose.

"It's like a halberd," Ruby said as she leaned towards the edge before blinking. "It's bladed on both sides?" She asked her other timeline self.

"... Yeah, Alteration," Rubes said the words, and her body shivered as the sound of something unlocked itself in her head. "Whoaa… T-That was crazy!" She said in shock as Summer and Maria chuckled.

"You've Awakened to your Specialty's pathway," the old woman said as she kept making marks in the ground. "The more you use it, you'll gain new branches. For now, I'm assuming changing the shape is all it can do?"

"Well, shape and make…" Rubes's eyes squinted in concentration before she placed her hand on the blade itself.

It pulsed before coming away, leaving a pulsing circle of white.

"... We'll talk about this later," Maria said as Summer, Ruby, and Obito laid their own weapons near her. "Handle theirs as well."

Rubes did, the young woman changing Summer's scythe's back, by the black, and leaving three small pulsing marks.

Ruby's weapon was changed by adding 'wings' to the side, the two protrusions allowing for Ruby's Aura to coming through them in the form of wings.

"That's… different," Summer said in thought before her eyes widened. "Wait… Rubaby, you might also be making weapons capable of channeling our Auras better."

"... Hmm," Rubes hummed before looking at Obito's gunbai fan. "... You don't have a scythe," she said with a pout and Obito blinked before ruffling her hair with a chuckle.

"I do but I'm more used to my fan."

"..." Ruby looked down at the Uchiwa Gunbai. 'What to do with this…'

From what Obito told her, this was made up of chakra nature-changing paper. It was something based on these papers that apparently told them their natures.

So she wanted to work something like that in but what…? Rubes's eyes shined with a powerful light as more trails sprung out from the corners.

Alteration-Nature-Enhancement

She blinked as another 'unlock' happened in her head and she laid her hand down on the gunbai fan.

White lines spread out from her palm before going around the outline of the fan weapon. The lines thickened before fading away, leaving a slight trail of roses on the edges.

"Hmm," Obito nodded to her, picking up the weapon. "What's it do?"

"W-Well, the skill's called Alteration-Nature-Enhancement," Ruby explained, getting another hum out of Obito. "Maybe it just increases the ability of the wind?"

"Hmph," Obito placed it on his back with a nod. "Alright, we're ready."

The five nodded, Maria getting in one last word as flying Grimm began to appear in the sky.

"Take flight, you four," she stamped her cane thrice and five circles began to rotate by her feet. "These will protect you all, once. Don't waste them."

"Give mine to Ruby," Obito said.

"Mine will go to Rubes then," Summer followed up with a smile as Maria chuckled before changing the arrays. "It's safer for you two to not just have more protection but to also stick together. Your Semblances are similar in speed to the point that you two can become an amazing duo on the battlefield."

"Alright, mom."

"Let's go," Obito said as he brought the four of them in together before teleporting out. "To the battlefield."

~NRK~

James watched as that monstrosity landed, the rumbling of the earth below him a heavy reminder that this thing could have any large number of Grimm in it.

Then there was the scuff of dirt ahead of him and he felt confidence fill his veins.

The Strong-Eyes Corps had arrived.

Obito and Summer watched as the whale Grimm opened its mouth and, from within, came a flood of black ooze that… birthed GRIMM?!

"That's horrifying," Summer said with a grimace as Obito nodded before running through handsigns. "Clear the way, will you, hon?"

"On it," Obito said as he felt the fire chakra mold itself into his cells before breathing in. "Katon:-!"

His eye burned with his Mangekyo Sharingan, Kamui swirling in a rapid vortex outward, blowing out the air in the Kamui Dimension.

"Bakufu Ranbu!" (Bomb Blast Dance!)

James blinked at a flamethrower, half the size of the whale. that surged forth and engulfed the Grimm, the goo, and even the front of the whale Grimm.

It shrieked and James's mouth set in a vicious grin.

~NRK~

Her arms shook and her wide eyes trembled as she'd seen what had just happened.

'Magic?!' That was the only way, it had to be! 'I-If he has magic-!'

"And we'll see if you're not locked in a 'tower' again when this is all done."

Salem swallowed a harsh ball of horror as that man grinned in her close-up spell.

Behind her, Mercury, Emerald, and a hulking Mistralian man by the name of Hazel balked in disbelief.

"W-What the hell was that?!" Mercury shouted in shock as a growing pit formed in his stomach. "T-There's no way that came from a random person!"

~NRK~

Vine's eyes simply blinked at the ridiculousness that'd just taken place.

Marrow and Elm's mouths dropped at the carnage and now lack of Grimm.

"Dude, what the hell?!"

Oscar nervously laughed at the idea of someone like that possibly ending up on the side of the bad guys.

"Thank the gods he's on our side."

"Yup," came the rest of Team JNR as Team FNKI gawked. "Yup, yup, yup."

"... Do it again!" Nora cheered.

~NRK~

Cinder's group blinked at the large flames that slammed into the mouth of the Grimm whale.

"... I'm guessing that's your boyfriend over there," Harriet said with a flat expression as Cinder giggled.

"S-Such firepower could easily destroy numerous Atlas-fortified buildings," Penny noted with shock. "I… Is this 'chakra' really that much more powerful compared to Aura?"

"Obito's homeworld has so many other abilities that work here only because of chakra using physical and spiritual energy," Cinder elaborated. "I think it's just a matter of them having that plus using it far longer. Now," she nodded at their sniper's perch before holding out her hands.

Around her, pieces of the roof around her broke off in flickers of flames before being ground down by her Semblance and coalescing into a familiar shape.

Over the years, Obito had noted that everyone needed some kind of long-range option and she'd taken to the bow. Not just any bow, though.

The floor cracked underneath the weight of her creation before the string creaked as she pulled it back.

But the great bow.

"Damn, your Semblance is pretty versatile," Harriet said with a whistle of appreciation. "But, from here?"

Cinder nodded before reinforcing her eyes and then the clouds on her cloak glowed yellow, electricity forming around Cinder and causing her eyes to glow.

A long arrow formed in her hands before she adjusted and breathed out.

The projectile shot out with an explosion of noise and wind, all four females' hair flapping back as it shot off.

~NRK~

Obito hummed as two lumbering Grimm came out of the torched mouth of the whale Grimm. Goliaths let out harmed trumpets sounds from their noses before charging with mounting speed.

Rubes swallowed only for Summer to grasp her shoulder, the teen turned to see a smiling Summer.

"Give it a moment."

Rubes blinked only to then hear a shrieking sound and looking up-

An explosion of force, dust, and wind blew their hair back and, when the dust cleared, Rubes swallowed at two long obsidian javelins where the Grimm used to be.

"... Oh."

"Cinder's aim is amazing," Obito said before brandishing his weapon. "ATTACK!" He ordered, chakra enhancing his throat to allow for his voice to project all over the battlefield. "DON'T LET THEM RECUPERATE!"

He ran forward with Summer, Ruby, and Rubes at his sides. James and Winter followed through with the others right behind them.

~NRK~

"Where did all these crazy people come from!?" Emerald uttered in disbelief as more of those 'javelins' came raining down and ending the lives of the aerial-based Grimm. "I-I… I don't understand, what's happening?" She asked Mercury in horror as he grimaced.

"I don't know but it's bad for us."

Emerald nodded as she paled.

~NRK~

Rubes wasn't expecting to be charging into a, horribly wounded, wave of Grimm but she was learning things weren't as normal as she thought.

Her eyes flashed and she blurred past a pair of Sulfur Fishes before using a Beowulf as her jump pad and tossed herself, spinning, into a group of Bengals, the gorilla-type Grimm shrieking but her blade ended their unlives in seconds.

'That was so easy,' was this what it felt like to be a real-deal Silver-Eyed Warrior? 'I-If I'd known about this earlier.'

So many lives she could have saved! She could-

There was a shout from behind and Rubes turned to see a Goliath raising on its hind legs only to freeze before falling in two parts as Ruby came to a stop in front of her, a frown on her face.

"Um… Hello?" She said with a frown before winding up and releasing a hard rotation.

Rubes balked as silver energy slipped past her midsection and patted herself down only to find no negative changes, her eyes looking around them to see a huge swathe of Grimm dead in a circle around them.

"Come on!" Ruby said as she pulled her other timeline self up to her feet before pouting. "What's up?! We're supposed to be fighting!"

"O-Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't…" Rubes grimaced as she readied Crescent Rose. "I wish I'd had these skills earlier. If I'd learned more about my eyes before today, I'd have-"

"Nuh-uh!" Ruby said as she bonked her other self, Rubes balking at her. "Obito always says that losing yourself in the past will destroy you. Instead of who we couldn't save, we have to save who's in front of us, or else we're letting everyone down."

Rubes's eyes widened before she wiped them and stood tall, Ruby grinning as they went back to back at the oncoming Grimm.

"It's fine to be scared!" Ruby jumped high above the Grimm before swiping down with her scythe, an explosive wave of white tearing itself through the Grimm wave. "It's fine to be worried!"

Rubes shot back with a gunshot from her weapon before swinging her scythe around and turning her swing into a set of windmills, waves of silver lashing out and rapidly bisecting Grimm before she flipped onto her feet, Ruby landing behind her.

"It's fine to be sad but we have a job to do!" Rubes completed the lesson and Ruby grinned.

Their eyes burned bright white before their scythes expanded to become arching blades of light, of Grimm destruction.

Of protection!

They disappeared in a swirl of red, the Grimm all around them looking around in confusion as rose petals fell all around them.

"We are-"

"One!"

High in the sky, the two girls enveloped the still visible moon with their glowing weapons.

"Wings of Rose!"

The area around the Grimm, the rose petals, lit up as the girls came crashing down.

A tower of red and white shot into the sky and Qrow, in bird form, squawked as the energy collapsed in on itself in the shape of a rose before dissipating.

'The hell are they on?!' Sure, he'd never seen a Resonance before but surely it's not so FLASHY?! '... Dammit, it's so cool!' Qrow moaned in bird form, the sigh coming out as a sad caw.

He was able to see the damage of their twin attack and, no foolin', that was easily half a football field's worth of Grimm.

'DAMN!'

The two reappeared in a flash of red below, stumbling a bit before steadying one another with their clasped arms.

"W-Whoa!" Rubes's eyes went wide with joy and awe as the two of them turned to see the damage all around them. "H-How did we know the name?!"

"I-I think it was the Resonance!" Ruby said as her mouth set in a face-splitting grin. "By the gods!"

"That was so cool!"

He chuckled as he bisected another set of Grimm as he heard both Rubys' squeals.

'Still a kid at heart, huh?' Obito thought with a chuckle as he tore through the Grimm, close to the whale's mouth. 'Not that that's a bad thing!'

He wound up before unleashing turbulent winds that sent out two tornadoes of great width.

His eye widened as he remembered what Rubes had done earlier. 'Nature Enhancement, huh?' His mouth widened into a smirk as he made a Shadow Clone before they both jumped.

His clone grabbed him before throwing him higher, the gunbai fan in its hands.

Obito flew high into the clouds and ran through handsigns.

This technique would eclipse the first time he did it… He breathed in, fire chakra forming throughout his body before expelling it.

Summer blinked as the sky grew orange before giggling and vanishing from the current plane as the fires expanded within the tornadoes of wind.

Ruby and Rubes's eyes lit up with orange color as… well, as what looked like hell on Remnant tore apart their enemy's ranks.

Summer faded into existence next to them, a smile on her face.

"Your brother is something else, girls."

"Right."

Landing moments later, his clone gave him his weapon back before dispelling.

The battlefield was more of a field on fire and Obito chuckled nervously as he looked at the flames.

"... Sorry!" He said through an earpiece.

~NRK~

James snorted as he killed another Teryx, eying the destruction with an amused gaze.

"Certainly not the worst flaming hell I've seen," he said in a joking tone over the earpiece, laughter from the others coming through. "Get in there, Uchiha, end this."

-On it-

~NRK~

Hazel Reinhart was left helpless at the destruction wrought forth by a simple man.

"W-What?" Salem let out a small gasp at the destruction that'd been reigned, the rocking of their Grimm transport long since having sent her to the floor with the others. 'H-He's…'

Not human. The words almost left her lips but she clamped down on them.

Was she to utter those words…

"And we'll see if you're not locked in a 'tower' again when this is all done."

Her body trembled as this 'Obito' came into the whale's mouth-

"There you are," came a voice from behind her, and Salem's normally pale skin found a way to pale further as a horrible voice came from behind her. "Hmph, I guess this is to be expected, huh, Salem?"

Her head turned mechanically to see him, the one-eyed man who bore a vicious grin that froze her nonexistent blood.

Obito walked towards her and Salem… Salem backed away.

Mercury choked as he watched her do it. 'What?' The mere thought of Salem ever doing that had only ever been in his wildest dreams… but here it was.

Salem the Witch was trembling before a human male and Mercury felt ice slip into his veins.

"W-What should we do?" Emerald asked him and Mercury didn't have the answer. "Mercury?"

Her voice was small, quiet, terrified of what this Obito dude would do to them if he handled Salem quickly.

"So this is how this will go," he said as he sent his weapon into the Kamui Dimension as he turned off his earpiece. "You're going to leave. You're never getting off your fucking ass again to raise your hand against humanity. Fulfill these conditions and I won't make your existence miserable."

Salem's eyes widened before they glowed with an unnatural light, red flames circulating in her irises as she grit her teeth, clenched her hands, destroying the floor in the process, and levitated off the floor.

This piece of human excrement dare gives her ultimatums?! His casual gaze-

Her eyes blinked as her vision began to tilt, a kunai in Obito's hands.

Salem's decapitated head hit the floor and rolled a bit, getting pale faces from her last three minions.

Emerald covered her mouth as her cheeks went green as Mercury fell on his ass, crawling away from the witch's head.

Hazel just… stared. That's it, all he did was stare at the supposed 'Goddess's fading away head.

Obito spread out his senses before walking over to where Salem's body fell and faded away.

The immortal witch returned to the mortal plain only to lock gaze with Obito.

"Let's try this again," he said, tossing the kunai knife back and forth between his hands. "Give up on trying to destroy the world and take your ass home."

Salem's eyes locked onto the passing knife before she grimaced, standing tall.

She hadn't seen how he'd killed her but she knew the knife had to have a part in it.

"Salem."

"You take me for some foolish mortal?" She said with a frown. "Foolishness-"

Her hand hit the floor and she froze as Obito kept passing his dagger between his palms.

"That's not a 'yes'," he said with a neutral expression even as Salem's hand regenerated. "I wonder how you deal with poison."

She shivered involuntarily before gritting her teeth, wanting to burn her own body for it to stop its nonsense!

"That'd be rather unintelligent of you," she said with a calming breath, hands in front of her. "I'd simply kill myself-"

She flew back before being slammed against the wall and grinned at him.

"Touch a nerve?"

"No, but I can't say the same for you," Obito responded coolly, confusing the witch who blinked and then froze. "But, please, come on back over here so we can talk."

She couldn't, Salem realized with a mounting coldness in her chest. S-She couldn't move.

"No? I'll come over then," Obito said with a shrug, walking over before standing in front of the, impaled at the stomach, struggling Salem. "Now, let's start this again and I'm going to be candid with you. I don't like you, I've no love in my heart for you. You've hurt too many people, caused the destruction of the world before this one, and have yet to realize that you don't get to choose between life and death."

"Foolish spiel!" She cursed at him. "With magic alone, those pathetic concepts do not need to exist!"

"And that's where you're wrong," Obito said with a frown. "Of course, life and death need to exist! Look at you!" He shouted and she grit her teeth. "A woman who's lived for thousands of years and yet you never learn! You throw around all your power in a hissy fit and act like a bitch when things didn't go your way! You screwed over everyone for some stupid idea on what you thought was right!"

"You are a whelp! You know not the way of the world!"

"Ho, ho, ho! And then there's that bullshit you're spouting," Obito grinned humorlessly at her. "Aren't you the world's greatest living being? Stuck against the wall and getting impaled, why, I think I was right about your Mistress of the Night title!"

Mercury nearly spat out his liver at the trash talk occurring ten years away. Emerald, meanwhile, was left imagining all the ways this guy could end up killing them.

"You cur!"

"Boo, you whore," Hazel almost had a stroke. "Maybe if you decided to fucking FIX YOUR LIFE, you'd be in a better position! But no, you're just a bitch who apparently didn't realize, people DIE."

Her fingers gripped the stake in her stop and clenched around it, denting the metal as her eyes glowed a brighter red. "And what are you?"

Obito's eye gained a pitying gleam. "A far better person than you. Someone who knows more about death than you do in your quaint little hamlets combined. I saw your memories, Arondite, I know you had a chance. Ozpin came back to you and you decided you wanted to rule the world like a fool when you didn't even care for thousands of years!"

Her hands crushed the stake, pulling it out and allowing her magic to fill her body-

Five audible slams against the wall had her spread out like a martyr, Salem's eyes narrowed in defiance and Obito sighed.

"You know, I said all that crap earlier, but I was giving you a chance. A chance to think for a moment when you know how all the people you've hurt felt when they fell prey to the Grimm... But I'm done playing nice with you, Salem, so I'm going to get drastic. Fuck off or I'm torturing you for the next hour."

The silence that reigned nearly clogged her lungs but Salem grit her teeth, mouth opening.

The sharp tool slammed down her throat, choking her on her own blood as it tore apart her esophagus.

She spasmed at the imagery, drool falling from her lip.

"W-What?"

"That is what I'm going to do to you," Obito said coldly and her eyes trembled in fear as he glared at her. "I'm going to show you exactly what I'm going to do to you. All the ways to torture your ass without you kicking the bucket. And even if you did, I'm going to put you on a cross, again, and do it all over. I'm going to poison you, take off your toes and fingers and feed them to you, I'm going to open up your forearms and stick poison directly into your veins," the Uchiha walked up to her before gripping her hair tightly. "I'm going to rip your fucking face in half and make sure you feel every. Cell. Do NOT fuck with me, bitch, I can make sure you live in an immortal hell."

She froze as roughly threw her head back before going over and sitting in her throne, eye burning bright red.

"Let's start with some of the methods, shall we?"

She fought down her screams as best she could, each 'deadly torture' worse than the last, each one taking her immortality to the limit before she was brought back to the present.

Around the tenth death… she caved.

"P-Please, n-no more," she whispered and Obito leaned forward, eyebrows raised.

"Speak up."

"N-No more, please!" She begged with black tears down her face. "D-Don't do that to me!"

"... You know how to make this all stop, Salem," Obito said as he walked up to her. "This is your last chance. I'm not going to give you just visions, I'm going to enact it all on you. If you raise your hand against me again, I'm stuffing you in a jar with each method forever torturing you in your mind."

She trembled as he removed the stakes, allowing her to drop to the floor, on her hands and knees.

Obito kneeled down to her with a pitying gaze.

"Remove your army."

James wasn't sure how long it'd take for Obito to do his work but when the Grimm all froze before… popping into black goo, he knew something had been finished.

All around them, more and more Grimm self-imploded with no effort on their ends. Minutes later, the entire rolling fields of Atlas were empty of Grimm.

Ironwood pressed his earpiece. "Uchiha?"

-... I'm here- Obito said and James let out a full-body sigh of relief. -I've handled everything-

"You're a lifesaver."

Behind James with Jaune, Oscar shivered before a familiar person came to the forefront if only in mind.

'Ozpin?'

"Hello, Oscar… I've heard everything," Oscar could imagine how Ozpin felt, the image of a sagging, tired, old man sat in his mind and the boy felt some form of empathy for him.

He'd seen the memories, Ozpin had been foolish in allowing all this to happen but he hadn't wanted this and Oscar found the heart to want to help him.

"If this is right… it's over, Ozpin," he whispered and the wizard in his mind sighed.

"I need to see her myself… even if only one more time."

"Can you come out?" James asked Obito only to find a swirl in the air depositing a copy. "I take it this is a clone?"

-Yes, whoever's coming, follow him-

Appearing in a space inside the Grimm whale, Ironwood's gaze rose and, what he saw, caused him to finally let everything fall.

There she was, trembling in a corner. Salem the Witch had, most likely, been subjugated and Obito sat in a throne made of some kind of bone-like material.

No one else was in the room and Ironwood found himself not caring by that point as Oscar walked up from behind him.

Obito never told the two about the other three. Seeing Emerald here, looking so pale that she could have passed for a ghost, had ignited his selfishness.

He'd told them to leave and never try this kind of crap again or he'd kill them. The shock on their faces had been painful, Emerald's especially, but he knew that this was NOT his Emerald… he tried, anyway.

Oscar looked at the woman cowering in a corner of the 'cockpit' before slowly walking over as a flash of green across his eyes had him gaining a look of… distress.

Standing in front of her, the witch tucked in her feet further beneath her, arms around her knees, and head tucked down.

It tore him apart in ways that surprised him at that moment and, soon enough, he was sitting by her, close enough that if she so wished it, she could kill him… but he knew that wouldn't come to pass.

This position, for Salem, was an age-old one that told him she was completely and utterly lost… of course, he'd known, she was his former wife for so many years.

He sat in Oscar's body, thinking about everything that led him up to this point before letting out a long, tired, guilty, sad, smile that wore every emotion he ever had.

Ozpin leaned on the witch's shoulder, getting a flinch from Salem before she tucked her head into his hair.

James looked neutral at the sight before sighing long and hard.

"This is it… She's finally over with?"

"Well, being fair, Salem was never the creator of Grimm," Obito said with a sigh and a sad smile. "But, with her out of the picture, the Grimm are far less of a threat than they could ever be."

"Not the best but certainly not even close to being a bad conclusion…" Blue eyes turned to the mentally broken Salem. "..."

"Before you ask… I don't know," Obito said with a pained grimace, James already realizing that the man probably didn't like the methods he had to use to get her in this situation. "... I've implanted within her a deep-seated fear of my 'punishments'. If she tries something like this again, she'll be assaulted by all the methods in succession," he whispered, running his hands through his hair. "... I need a shower," Obito said as he held his head in his hands, feeling green.

He was perfectly willing to go through with all that torture… but he knows he couldn't handle doing it for too long.

Obito wasn't built that cold, after all.

Summer wore a sad, tired, but proud smile when Obito, Oscar, and James left the mouth of the Grimm whale, a person of interest in their midst, covered by a cloak and hood.

Obito said something to this woman and, a flick of the hand that was hard for almost everyone to see later, the whale made a loud bellow as it fell off the floating city, literally falling apart into motes of darkness that filled the air before disappearing from sight.

She, Ruby, and Rubes ran over and came to a stop in front of them as the others began to run over.

Summer wore a frown as she looked at the head-down 'mystery' woman before her with a grimace and a long sigh.

Obito looked miserable beyond words and she had him in her embrace in seconds, the man's head falling on her shoulder as he embraced her back.

A manageable, if not acceptable toll… but it pained her to see her son like this.

She pressed on her earpiece. "Cinder, can you rush over here?"

-I'm coming!- She shouted over the channel, the sounds of running reaching Summer's ears. -I-Is Obito okay?!-

"He's… Haaa, he could be better."

She took her finger off it as the Rubys hugged their older sibling on both sides.

"Summer, do you have an idea for what we should do with her?" James asked, tired beyond words and likely not really capable of too much thought at the moment. "I'm not… mentally capable all that much, right now."

"... I don't…" Summer grimaced, never having thought about such a scenario in her dreams. "... Haa, we can't let her go, that's the fact of the matter."

"I considered a prison cell but her abilities are too esoteric," the general said. "There'd be no way to handle her if she returned to her normal self."

Oscar gripped Salem's hands a bit more reassuringly and the broken woman squeezed back.

"... Find a way to seal her powers," Obito muttered as he removed his head from Summer's shoulder, the woman smiling proudly at him. "If not just her Grimm half… Salem is, sadly, immortal, there's not really much more you can do to her that might be permanent… So she has to live with her sins. She has to make up for all the suffering, pain, and deaths on her hands… And I think Ozpin should deal with it."

Oscar's eyes widened, a pair of mismatched irises blinking in shock. "M-Me?"

"... Yes," Obito wore a sad smile that nearly broke the old wizard's heart. "Over the past five hours, I know exactly how you feel."

"..." Ozpin's eyes closed and his shoulders sagged before turning to James. "... James, I…"

"... Go on, take her," Ironwood said with a sigh. "If anything, you are the expert on this stuff."

"We'll help in any way we can while we're here," Summer said as Obito nodded before they heard the sound of hurried running.

Obito wore a tired smile and turned to catch Cinder in his arms, nuzzling the Faunus back before she held his face in her hands, a look of pain on her face.

"..." She said nothing and simply embraced him, Obito reciprocating in full force.

Summer placed her hands on both her youngest daughters' shoulders.

Salem the Witch had, hopefully, come to an exact end this day.

That's it for that Omake. I'll do an 'epilogue' for it with a lead-off to the next one afterward.

Yeah, in the end, Obito's a whole different beast compared to Salem. I wouldn't be surprised if she was unaccustomed to torture because I feel that Ozpin would never do it. I feel like he still loves her too much to try and subjugate her in such ways even if he knew he had to beat her.

It's a rather sad paradox of him wanting to help the world but not willing to go the extra mile just because of his own selfishness. It's humanizing.

Ciao, I hope you guys like the next chapter and Omake.
