Seeing Lin Ye return to the tent looking tense, Magallan couldn't help but ask "What's the matter? Is something wrong?"

"No," Lin Ye just shook his head, "There was just a cat trying to threaten me. Why do you ask?"

Magallan was a little bewildered by Lin Ye's weird reply.

Lin Ye didn't feel like talking about his intimidating back and forth with Skyfire, but he knew that he should still tell them about what occurred. There seemed to be no good reason to conceal the information he had gained from conversing with Skyfire, so he sighed and said "Skyfire found out that we went to the sea last night."

Then Lin Ye told them all about the conversation that he had with her. Everyone was overwhelmed by the sudden revelation.

"That Feline chick dares to threaten us!" Matoimaru, enraged by Skyfire's threat, stood up straight and aggressively picked up her sword, "I'll go and have a little chat with her."

"What are you going to do? It's almost dawn. Less than half an hour to be precise," Frostleaf said.

"Half an hour is more than enough time," Matoimaru readily ascertained.

Lin Ye was suddenly dumbstruck by her aggressiveness. He had to stop her, "Don't make any trouble. If things go wrong, we won't be able to fix it."

Blue Poison said "Have you talked with her?"

Lin Ye shook his head "It's useless to talk to her. That woman is too arrogant, and there's no time."

"So what should we do?" Magallan nervously asked.

Lin Ye thought it through, and could only reply " Leave her alone. Let's change our clothes first. That way we won't expose our little secret to the others . As for Skyfire...I don't think she will tell SilverSword."

"Why?" Magallan was confused by this.

"Obviously you threatened her right," Matoimaru affirmed.

"... What? How could I do that? I didn't do anything like that," Lin Ye defended himself, "I just feel like she would be too prideful to tell anyone about this."

Magallan looked at him dubiously, "Really?"

Lin Ye said ",However, she will definitely not let us off the hook. She will definitely retaliate, so we have to be careful. Although I think I know enough of her character. Even if it's for revenge, she won't use any underhanded tricks. She's too cocky for that."

What Lin Ye said made the others dismayed.

Matoimaru voiced her opinion "You have only met her a few times, but you know so much about her."

Blue Poison said, "I think what Doctor Lin Ye said makes sense."

Magallan nodded, "I have also heard the rumors about Doctor Lin Ye from Miss Silence. She said that Doctor Lin Ye is a person who understands a woman's heart."

After she finished speaking everyone laughed. The depressing atmosphere in the room slowly subsided as a more cheerful one steadily seeped in to replace it.

Lin Ye also noticed that even though he was being slandered again, as long as it was for a more positive purpose, he didn't really mind. He pretended to be annoyed and even faked some complaints, which made the atmosphere much more cheerful.

After having their ghastly experience last night, they really needed to relax more. They were like a tight string. The tighter the string is, the easier it will snap.

After talking and laughing, everyone's mood improved. Then they took the time to organize their things and change their clothes.

Naturally they drove Lin Ye out when they changed their clothes.

About twenty minutes later they had sorted everything out, and near the time when Magallan activated her remaining two drones, the Ursus's Soldier came to the door and informed everyone to gather on the coast.

Although they didn't sleep, everyone's mental state was still positive. Lin Ye was an exception to the rule as his physique was not as exceptional as the others, being the weakest race-wise.

As soon as all the other parties arrived, their group was noticed by Swire, who came to talk to them.

She stood beside Lin Ye and asked, "Did you not sleep well last night?".

"Why do you ask?" Lin Ye raised his brow curiously.

"There are bags under your eyes. Is it because you're not used to sleeping outside?" While speaking, she looked at his team members standing behind him, and suddenly had an epiphany.

"I see why now," Swire nodded in a realization that Lin Ye could not decipher.

"You understand?" Lin Ye glanced at her.

"One man and four women sleeping in a tent. It would be hard for any man to resist the temptation," Swire said with an understanding look on her face.

Lin Ye looked at the officers of the LGD behind Swire and inquired "Did you sleep well then? You're the only woman in your group".

Swire's expression stiffened, "What are you trying to say? Are you seeking death? I'm not the same as you. We have sleeping bags" She then outburst foul Lungman language.

It seemed that Swire still valued her pride. So Lin Ye wisely didn't dare say anymore lest he cause a bigger scene.

After all, he still owed Swire quite the favor.

It didn't take long for Skyfire to come over.

At that moment, all the members of Rhodes Island became nervous except for Lin Ye, who didn't even look at her. All the others however were looking at her discreetly like pupils who did something wrong.

Skyfire's gaze then fell onto Lin Ye, while he on the other hand pretended not to see her.

Swire seemed to notice this and asked curiously "Why is that girl from the Originium Technology Research Association looking at you all the time".

How do I know?

Soon SilverSword brought his men down to the coast.

"We've found enough boats," SilverSword said to everyone, "Our task is to search the islands near the small town of Harlan in groups, to see if we can find some clues. We'll be giving each group a flare. Once you find something, you must fire the flare immediately, and the other groups will rendezvous immediately."

Swire raised her hand.

"Aren't there any communicator devices? Why do we need to use something as old as a flare?"

SilverSword replied faintly "Communicators are not as reliable as you think".

Deep down Lin Ye agreed wholeheartedly.

He took a flare from SilverSword.

Next came the groupings. There should not be more than ten members in a party. With Skadi's absence, Rhodes Island only had five people in their group, which meant that they needed to mix with the other factions. Luckily they were matched up with Lungmen.

"Don't worry. I've got your back," Swire patted Lin Ye on the shoulder. Lin Ye rolled his eyes but still smiled at her. Then he glanced at Skyfire.

It could be said that Lin Ye's judgment of her was correct. She did not report them to SilverSword. SilverSword had been talking for so long, yet she just stood blankly on one side without saying a word.

But what Lin Ye didn't expect was that when SilverSword was about to incorporate Skyfire into the Sunset Chamber of Commerce, she finally opened her mouth and said "I'm not going with them".

She then slowly raised her hand and pointed at Lin Ye's group, "I want to go with him".

Everyone in Rhodes Islands was startled.

SilverSword frowned and asked, "Why?"

"There is no reason", Skyfire hugged her arms and spoke coldly "Because out of all the people here, I know him the best", She stares at Lin Ye.

SilverSword thought for a while and sensed that she was alone anyway, plus it wasn't that big of a deal. He nodded and agreed "Sure, then you'll be with Rhodes Island for this mission."

Lin Ye looked at the caster's eyes.

Lin Ye started to feel a headache forming because he always felt that the world just hated him, and was always giving him bad luck, especially if there was a woman involved. He couldn't really refuse her. If he did refuse, people would start to get suspicious of them. Lin Ye sighed helplessly.

Well played.

After the group was divided, they started doing their work straight away with nothing left to say.

Lin Ye and the others received a boat that was slightly bigger than what they used last night. Swire couldn't seem to befriend everyone, so she brought the operator codenamed Yumeng to their boat.

Currently there were people from three different factions on the boat, which Lin Ye didn't feel very comfortable with. With Swire, Skyfire and Yumeng, Rhodes Island couldn't communicate so openly with each other while the other factions were also present.

"The area that we were assigned to investigate is this place," Swire rolled out a map and pointed to the circled area on it, "About, two kilometers from here. Okay, let's go... Wait. We don't even have an engine? Do we need to paddle there? [Lungmen foul language]! What kind of broken ship is this!"

Lin Ye glanced at the map and his eyes lit up.

Wasn't the location assigned to them the same as the location of the island last night? It's a coincidence, we can search for it again.

Skyfire, who got on the ship, sat in the corner holding on to the side of the boat without speaking to anyone. Yumeng took out a camera and started taking pictures of the ocean.

Swire interrupted him impatiently "Okay, Yumeng. You have to control your old habits."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Yumeng scratched her head and said awkwardly, "I just think it's interesting."

"You think it's interesting, but others don't think the same way," Swire sighed annoyingly, "You're such a strange person, always talking about weird things. No wonder you still don't have a girlfriend yet. If you don't fix that habit of yours soon, you'll die alone, you know?"

Yumeng closed his mouth, "Really, can't you have a bit of mercy on me?"

Swire sighed and saw Lin Ye standing dazedly on the bow of the boat frowning, "What are you doing?."

Lin Ye slowly raised his hand and muttered quietly, "The island. Where did it go?"
