She knew what she needed to do, what the right wish would be. She wrapped her hand around the tiny jewel that caused so much pain and smiled at them.
She wanted Inuyasha to be happy. He deserved it. She knew he found love long before she came along.
He walked up to her, "Kagome." His voice was soft, and it clearly meant' I'm sorry.'

As he hugged her, she made her wish.
