And another one bites the dust...

Kagura sat in a field of flowers, waiting.

Sesshomaru followed her.

They sat in perfect silence for a long while. "Do you fear death?" He asked her,

She smiled her back at him. "I am the wind, I can not truly die."

She had always thought he would be the one to save her; she was wrong.

"I'm not your woman!" Their perfect silents were broken as they heard the real savior of Kagura's now beating heart. Both demons turned their head to see Kagome walking to them through the knee-high grass and flowers.

She was red in the face, sweaty, and still looked ready to kill someone.

"It is done," Kagura said, placing her hand on her chest. "I can feel my heart."

Kagome stopped and sighed. "Naraku is gone," She confirmed.

"Where is the half breed?" Sesshomaru asked, "Did he not aid you?"

Kagome turned her heated graze to him. "No thanks to you either, Sesshomaru," She snapped,

Kagura rose and elegant eyebrow and looked back at the demon lord.

"You did not answer my question," He was not going to entertain her behavior.

She crossed her arms, "Digging himself out of a whole."

"Kagome," Kouga winded, catching up to her.

"Not now, Kouga."

"Dont be like that, Kagome, im not like the half breed mutt back there!" He grabbed her hands.

Kagome blinked with a blank face.

"Come on," He said with a cocky smirk. "Who's my woman, hu?"

"Kouga," She said sweetly, it made Kagura cringe.

"Yes?"

Kagome's power rose instantly, socking him were he stood. She held his hands tight to allow the holy power to really zap him. Once she was sure he got a big idea, she released him, and they watch as he and his singed fur fell backward to the ground.

"And another one bites the dust," Kagura stated. "You know, Miko, if you keep beating you suiters up, word will get around, and then you will have none."

Kagome blew a piece of stay hair from her face. "I can't help it if they dont know boundaries, plus im sick of everyone assuming I need saving from Inuyasha!" She planted her hands on her hips.

"Don't you?" Kagura asked, standing up,

"I dont need pitty; im not upset."

Sesshomaru snorted slightly, and both women looked at him,

"You wanna be next?" Kagome asked flat,

"It would be a failed attempt, Miko."

"Yeah, Miroku said the same thing, bet he won't be groping Sango for a week." Since the jewel did not return her, Miroku offered to marry both women, it didn't go over well, and he got it from both sides.

"Anyway, just came to check on you," Kagome looked at Kaugra. Her transgressions against them had been forgiven; after all, Naraku had been controlling her.

Kagura nodded. "I give you my thanks, Miko."

Kagome smiled, "Your welcome," She spun around. Kouga reached a hand up, "Kk, Kagome?"

She stepped on his chest and walked over him.

Kaugra pulled out her fan and fanned her face. "Her mood swings are quite alarming."

"Indeed," Sesshomaru agreed, not that he would tell anyone, but her moon swings were worrisome to him; they were unpredictable as was her hot holy power.

Kagura kicked Kouga's foot. "Are you going to lay there all day, wolf?"

"Just give me a minute," He said tried, "I think my manhood went up inside me."

Sesshomaru slightly cringed at the thought; Kagura laughed behind her fan. "Another one bites the dust indeed."
