Kind of a short Nadani fanfic...
One-shot sequel to Happiness
The mirror in front of her was reflecting her image back at her, an image that had changed.
There was one thing she wanted and that was happiness.
But there was something she didnt know and that was whether it would be with Kian, whether there would be more problems to come or whether they could finally hit the final nail in the coffin over their past.
A past that was somewhat painful for them.
Both.
"You look amazing," he says from the door frame where he was leaning watching her as she applied her makeup, she turns to look at him even though she could see him in the mirror
"It is my wedding day"
"And you're marrying the most handsome man on the earth-"
"With an intense amount of arrogance which is enough to make most people hurl" she responds with a sarcastic smirk, he looks at her up and down "It's not too much?"
"Never" he shakes his head as Jac nods looking up into his eyes "I would kiss you right about now but I don't want to be murdered before we get married because I've ruined your lipstick"
"Woah Madani using his brain?" she questions mocking shock, he tuts and smirks at her "You do realise this is huge don't you?"
"Yes"
"And that this could all fail-"
"If you think like that it will"
"You're so annoying-"
"You love me for it" he quips with a smirk before placing his hands on her shoulders, she looks up at him "What's bothering you?"
"I just don't want to disappoint you," she says quietly, he nods slowly "I've disappointed a lot of people these past few years with my weakness-"
"You're allowed to show weakness"
"Maybe" she shrugs before breathing out "But are you sure-"
"Naylor," he says looking at her dead in the eyes "I am so sure, I couldnt be surer of anything else in this world"
"Ok" she breathes out "We're getting married then?"
"We're getting married"
Traditional was hardly a style they were willing to perceive but they couldnt find a style that suited them.
They went with what fit.
With traditional aspects.
"Let's see the bride then" Fletch and Sacha enter the room and both were brought to tears "Wow..."
"You look amazing," Sacha says quietly taking in her appearance, she smiles coyly and looks down at the plain white dress she had on, her hair half up and half down tumbling down her back with soft curls
"You think?" Jac asks, maybe she was seeking approval she didnt know
"Perfect" Fletch nods as Emma barges into the room, she beams up at her mother "What do you think?"
"Pretty" she states simply, Jac nods slowly looking at Kian who was smiling proudly at her
They continued to look at each other with soppy expressions before leaving to go to the venue
It wasn't a big wedding, it was abroad on a beach in Portugal
After all, it seemed better than the whole big occasion back home, having the people they really did care about here with them both
"Will you give me away?" Jac looks at Sacha who instantly nods "Okay...this is happening"
"And it'll be the making of you" Sacha responds helping her out of the car, she looks up at him "You look amazing, Kian is so lucky and if he screws it up then I will be the first to hunt him down and kill him-"
"Sacha Levy inflicting violence? Never thought I would see the day" she smirks as Sacha grins at her "What if I mess it up then? What will you do?"
"I might do the same but you won't mess it up"
"You don't know that"
"But if you have that mindset you will-"
"Have you been getting your words from my fiancé?" she questions incredulously as Sacha shrugs, she hooks her arm through his as she breathes out "Right, here's to the rest of my life, to our lives..."
Her footsteps moulded into the sand around them, she wriggled her toes gently to acquaint them to their new surroundings.
This was it.
There was no going back now not that she wanted to, for once she wanted to look forward.
Kian had melted her, more than that if she could think of a better description.
She looked at Kian and smiled as she approached, she looked at Emma who was sitting with Fletch before looking back at her husband.
In awe.
The words tumbled out of both of their mouths.
The mouths that would unite later to seal their marriage.
To bring two people together to be a whole.
"Till death do us part"
The words sunk in.
For both of them.
This was it now, their future.
"You're my world" he whispers cupping her cheek as he places the ring on her finger, she looks down and smiled before looking up at him
She smiles at him as the words form their life.
Their future.
"You may kiss the bride"
Their lips collided gently before they pulled away and chuckled at Emma covering her eyes, they rest their foreheads against each other just like they did months prior.
"Congratulations" Fletch smirks at Jac who glares at him "Even on her wedding day she's still as icy as ever"
"Yeah Naylor lighten up" Kian smirks holding her in his arms, she raises her eyebrows at him
"I'm not Naylor anymore" she grins as Kian kisses her softly on the lips, they continue to kiss before pulling away and smiling at each other "Are you ok having Emma tonight?"
"Of course" Sacha scoffs causing Jac to smirk at Kian who was admiring her copper hair "It is your wedding night after all"
A night to remember
"Here" he passes her a cocktail, she smirks as they lie out on the sun loungers looking at the sky "Margaritas"
"Cliché" she smirks as Kian picks her up into his arms "Put me down Kian"
"No" he shakes his head as he takes her into the pool, she groans in annoyance and he kisses her to shut her up, she cups his cheek as it begins to rain, she shrieks and he quietens her down "Enjoy the moment Naylor"
"You really do like to push it don't you?" she questions with a glare, he just kisses her again which puts a smile on her face
"I love you Jac"
"You seriously want another ego boost?"
"It's hardly an ego boost, it's more like...complimenting my wife-"
"You know I don't do compliments"
"Maybe you should learn to take them then" he smirks, she whacks him on the shoulder as they begin to kiss again "You see living in the moment does have its advantages"
"I swear I'm going to murder you before one year of marriage"
"I think one's pushing it too far" he quips and she glares "But live in the moment"
The moment of love.
