AN: Ladies and gentlemen! The moment you've been waiting for! It's water grimm baby! A shitty reference to start off the chapter. One cookie for you if you know what the reference is.

The massive creature had a shark head with a mouth split into four, on the top two rested a classic grimm mask but split in two and one eye each. It had an armoured body populated with numerous unarmoured tentacles it used as hands to attack. It was about the size of half the ship. So pretty massive.

"Prepare the cannons!" Shouted a voice whom I assumed to be the captain from before. At least there are cannons to help with this situation.

"Hercules?" He tilted his head at me. "Time to play. Defend the ship." I simply said. His grin grew wide and he cracked his knuckles which somehow produced a sound even though his fingers are mostly claws. Then he ran at his new target.

"I trust you all know how to fight?" I asked team TMRW to snap them out of their shock. They nodded at me and looked at Theodosia expectantly.

"Maroon and Rojo, cover for us. Wan and I will rush in close." Their leader ordered dropping her previous carefree and delicate attitude. The response they gave were short nods. And with that she and Wan dashed towards the creature with their weapons drawn.

I can't get left in the dust now can I? What to summon? I wonder.

"Summon voidling." Well sentries would be a good start. Pestering the fucker full of holes sounds like a good plan to start. I need to give them legs this time though. Now how about some distractions that could dish out some damage too? Dragonflies with scorpion tails. Those should work well. Now I need an arm. I might as well style it after Hercules. We lost arms to each other after all.

The results of my summon spree were five mobile archer fish sentries (you know 'em, you love 'em). Six voidlings of a new type. They resembled the animal they were modeled after, they used Hercules's face as camouflage supposed to scare off enemies which in and of itself is hilarious. The stinger looks equally scary with it's black and purple colouring practically oozing venom. The arm came out beautifully looking very similar to the replacement one belonging to my bear companion but with a few golden accents.

"Attack, boys!" I ordered my new army. Now for my part in this. Time to try out something new. I ordered one of the dragonflies to stay behind. "Let me absorb you." I mutter. The voidling obeys and joins my hivemind. I try creating wings similar to the ones my dragon had on my back just like I used to with Jeff's legs. It worked spectacularly. I first grown the necessary bone structure then the membranes that allowed for flight.

"Time for the first take off!" I started flapping the new limbs on my back managing to lift off. I was a lot faster than I expected and after a moment of practice I stabilised and began firing void blasts at it.

Hercules seems to be doing well himself as he wrestled and ripped off one of the tentacles that were several times his size. He seemed a bit bummed out that he had to play defense but tearing off the giant noodles pleased him enough to make his disappointment hard to notice.

Team TMRW seems to be doing well too. Theodosia is fighting mostly with her greatsword, sometimes using her semblance to restrain her enemy or take a hit. Wan is utilising his giant warhammer smacking away all of the monster's attacks using the dust inside his weapon to give his swings an extra oomph. In the backline Rojo is shooting at it with her huge rocket launcher. Maroon is doing the same but with a sniper rifle.

"Fire the cannons! I will not let my ship sink because of some wannabe kraken!" Yelled the captain.

Dust ignited within the cannons, as a faint glow of rainbow light began to grow in intensity.

KABOOM!
KABOOM!
KABOOM!
They fired, each cannonball having a trail of dust, one zipped like lightning, the other shot like a rocket, and one let out a path of ice. All managed to hit the grimm.

"ROJO! Time for Gaia's contempt!" I heard Theodosia call out. With a simple nod, her teammate's weapon shifted changing the ammunition type and fired seeds. The unremarkable seed hit the back of the grimm's mouth, but to my surprise, Theodosia used her semblance at the last moment as-

CREAAK!

RIIIIP!.

The seed grew into a mighty oak tree within the mouth of the grimm. Tearing it apart and making it slump back, it's tentacles were twitching, eyes wide.
And before it could scream, more branches grew. It's eyes were pierced, it's tentacles were encased, and it was dying. Then leaves grew, flowers bloomed, and fruits became plentiful.

a small and relaxing sound of rustling leaves followed

A monster of death and destruction, impaled by a tree, how ironic.
But even then, it screamed in pain and started erratically attacking everything around it blindly. This made Hercules's job quite a bit harder as he now needed to defend the ship from more erratic swings of the tentacles. But that activated he's crafty side as he began using one of the tentacles as a weapon to wack away the rest. The effectiveness of that maneuver is something I won't discuss out of respect for my friend.

"WAN! Light it up!" Ordered Theodosia. Wan used the fire dust in his hammer and did exactly that.
...nothing happened

And then, a great raging flame grew and crawled around both the tree and the grimm,
which left the grimm screeching in pain. Hercules then decided to dip and jumped off it.

Our ship shook, as the blue water below us darkened...I saw something horrifying.
the water below us was completely black, as I shouted
"MOVE AWAY!."
With as much force as I could, and using all of my summons I created a giant void fan. I lifted it up, and pulled it down, causing great winds. As it propelled the ship, the waters became wild and the grimm screamed even more

SPLASH!
RKRKRIIIP!
CRUNCH!
Almost a quarter of the ship was bitten off by the-
holy mother of god.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?" Shouted one of the passengers.

The first one was a fucking distraction! The real deal showed up now. A massive angler fish like Grimm with teeth the length of the entire ship. The first one should have at least given me some experience, I need to check if I got a skill for level fifty or something.

"Skills! show me the new ones." I mutter gulping down the fear in my throat.

Thank god, or whoever is up there.

"Summon voidborn." I think of vel'koz and kog'maw, both will be extremely useful for dealing with that fucker. In front of me appear five of each.

"Open fire on target!" I order my archer fish and the new voidborn.

"Yes."

"Summon voidling. Dragonflies combine into the void dragon and attack the target." I ordered a total of 15 dragonflies. Time to fuck that thing up. "You can do another one of those trees?" I ask Theodosia.

"No, they eat up too much aura." Well that's sad. Not gonna get too much support for this one. Well time to take care of this.

"Killer instinct, Summon voidling." I created a greatsword from the void and activated Killer instinct.

"Hercules you're with the dragon!" I told the bear. He leapt on top of it and they flew off towards the grimm giant. I did the same but from the other side. Flying between the bright purple laser's of my vel'koz's, weapon in hand rushing at the sea nightmare. I fly right inside its mouth and rip apart it's flesh with my sword, sticking it in and dragging it across with the momentum of my flight and wing beats.

I feel the void energy pulsing in my body, Killer instinct doing its job enhancing my physical strength. Now to really finish this killing symphony. "Cold reason: Murder this grimm." I felt nothing, my movements sped up a lot as they became more efficient. I flew down even deeper into the grimm slashing through everything in my way or even nearby with my greatsword, enchanted with void touch. I suddenly turned one hundred and eighty degrees and the beats of my wings became faster and faster. I put my weapon in front of me and started spinning.

Pov change woosh

John's monsters attacks suddenly started to have a stronger effect. The laserbeams easily tore through the grimms flesh, the same was the case with the acid spitters. Hercules seemed to be enjoying himself as he hopped down from that 'dragon' and started clawing into the leviathan's mask with a scary smirk on his face. Using the spots weakened by acid and lasers as his place to strike, deepening the wounds. The flying one spit awful purple flames that left burn marks all over the grimms bone white armour even melting it in some spots. Before I could get a full grasp on the situation something pierced the monster's forehead and flew out forward into the sky above. It soon after managed to stop itself to inspect the damage the grimm took thus far. That's John?!

Pov change woosh

The grimm is barely alive. The voidspawn and Hercules really did a number on it. Well, cold reason will probably take care of it. My body flew forward at the leviathan with a reverse grip on my greatsword. The weapon easily pierced through the grimms head then my body followed kicking into the spot right below. Cold reason then activated void touch and the grimm lit up purple before it closed its eyes. Dead.

With Cold reason now off I casually jump off of the carcass and absorb my sword and wings back into the hivemind. "Well that's thankfully over, let's keep going to Solitas eh?" I say trying to lighten the mood.

"What was that? What are does? How the fuck did you do all that?" Ask Wan.

"Well, to answer those questions in order. A grimm attack, where one was bait and the other a stealth attack. Those are mine, don't worry about it. Magic!" I exclaim while doing the jazz hands.

"None of that matters! You all saved my dear Freeday! What can I do in return for your work?" The minotaur captain approached us. Nice of him to be so grateful.

"Nothing!" Theodosia stated while rubbing the back of her head embarrassed at the sudden attention.

"Take us to Solitas, that's good enough." I mused.

"You all have my gratitude, tell me whenever you need to travel anywhere." He bowed down a little. I like this guy. He's really respectful.

"You all have fun, I got shit to deal with." I walk off towards my new voidborn and Hercules who's just vibing with them.

"Sup boys, how are you all doing? Also, dragon you can deform now." I greeted as I approached.

"We are doing well, Void Caller." Said one of the vel'kozs. Hercules nodded.

"Glad to hear that, what were you doing?" I ask curious.

"Hercules was sharing information about this world and your situation. He has been quite helpful and enlightening." Wait, they can understand each other? Fuck I didn't know that.

"Great, then I trust you all know the basic information about this world and where we are headed?" I question.

"Yes, the kingdom of Atlas on the Solitas continent with the goal of taking over from the inside by making ourselves invaluable. Quite a sound plan, void caller." A complement from the collectors of knowledge that are super smart? Don't mind if I do.

"Well let's go over to the group before they do anything radical." Unless they already did. It's always good to be careful either way.

"I'm back. How is everyone?" I ask innocently. Behind me my entire army stood.

"Well a bit tired after overusing my semblance. Oh and shocked too considering you know… you." Theodosia said. Not surprising although I don't know what to expect from her at this point.

"Makes sense, that was quite a display you did before. Though I was pretty sure I explained everything really well." I joke. Magic is a pretty shitty explanation after all.

"You said 'magic' and 'don't worry about it'. I wouldn't call that a good explanation." She put explanation in air quotes. Don't sass me back. That's disrespectful.

"You aren't getting a better one." I remarked.

"Stop arguing like children." Interrupted us Rojo. Killjoy.

"Fineee." We responded in unison equally annoyed. We had a bit of an awkward look at each other as blushes appeared on our faces. Rojo burst into a fit of laughter when she saw that.

"I just remembered I need to go do something, I'll be right back." I rush away.

"Stop laughing!" I shout at Hercules. Why does he have to remind me of my humiliation? Dickhead. Prick. I need to stop insulting him in my head and actually do what I need to.

"Voidlings I'm gonna need to absorb you all for now." I state as every voidling makes their way towards me and joins the hivemind. Now we are only a group of twelve instead of the original twenty two.

That should help with any future issues. Now I need to have a final word with the captain. "You all stay here. I have something that needs to be taken care of." I announce to my army.

"Hey Beton, buddy I need to talk with you." I give him a friendly greeting.

"What do you need?" He asks in a happy tone.

"Don't tell anyone about what happened here."

"What?" He said confused.

"Just tell them hunters that were on board took care of the problem." I elaborated coldly.

"Okay?" He agreed, thank god.

"Thanks, my friend" I gave him a pat on the back as I departed.
