When Ruby first joined the police department, she'd been so determined to catch every bad guy that she lived and breathed work. She'd sprinted up the learning curve and butted against the ceiling of what was technologically, physically, and mentally possible. If only she had infinite time and resources, she could solve any case and put any criminal away.

That desire hadn't changed. She was still waiting for certain technological advancements to make the world a safer place, but she'd accepted that a computer only took her most of the way to the finish line. Even if she found the answer and laid it out clear as day, a jury might not be convinced. Charges might still be dropped. Criminals might go free.

The only explanation for those unexpected failures was the innately human nature of her work. Not everyone responded to data and charts like she did or like a computer did. Many people relied on hunches, intuition, superstition, implicit biases, or simply liking one person better than the other.

Yang understood those reactions in a way Ruby could never hope to match. People's motivations, desires, strengths, and weaknesses...that stuff made sense to Yang like network systems made sense to Ruby.

Ruby had always thought that people were people - they would keep doing people things no matter what. Over the past few weeks, however, that belief had changed.

People were incredible. Not just for who they were and what they were capable of, but for how they could make her feel. How their lives were separate yet intertwined. How a stranger could become a friend in the blink of an eye. How a friend could become much more than that with hardly any effort at all.

People were incredible, and she didn't just want to help them anymore. For the first time in her life, she wanted to step out from behind her computer screen and get to know them.

"Knock knock."

Pulled away from those thoughts, Ruby looked over and smiled as Yang walked into the lab.

"You look nice," Yang added with a gesture to Ruby's outfit. "You have court today?"

"Yeah, in a couple hours." After glancing at the clock to confirm the time, she nodded and turned back to Yang. "What's up?"

"Just came to check on you. You're ok, right?"

The question made Ruby think about last night at Weiss' house, and thinking about last night made her blush.

Yang didn't know, did she? She couldn't. There was no way. Unless she could read Ruby's mind right now.

"What do you mean...?"

"The sequence," Yang elaborated, missing Ruby's sigh of relief. "You left kind of fast..."

"I really had things to do." Ruby just couldn't say what those things were... "And it's fine," she added with a wave. "I know you're better than me at that stuff -"

"Which is why we practice." Using her 'big sister' voice now, Yang set a hand on Ruby's shoulder and ducked to meet Ruby's gaze. "You're way better than you think you are. If you joined a squad right now, you'd be one of the best."

"I don't know about that…"

"I'm serious! You handle yourself like a pro, and your instincts are sharp. Few more months and you'll be better than me."

"Yeah right."

Ruby scoffed at the notion that she would ever be better than Yang, but the compliments made her feel better. Yang always had a way of doing that...

"You don't have to believe me," Yang added with a calm, assured smile. "But I'm right. And, as your sister, I love knowing you can take care of yourself if you had to."

"Not just a tech spec anymore, am I?"

"Hell no." Laughing at one of the officers' common refrains, Yang gave Ruby a high five. "Now, want to hear some good news?"

"You got Vale U.'s president to confess?" Ruby guessed, but Yang sighed.

"Unfortunately, no. Next best thing though - he tried to hire Weiss, but she turned him down cold. Now he's got some other asshole representing him."

"That's great!"

"Right? Now I don't have to worry about her barking at me for transposing numbers or missing a freaking timestamp."

When Yang chuckled and shook her head, relieved and happy about an easier path to trial, Ruby processed the unexpected news and drew an unexpected conclusion.

He was guilty. He must be. Why else would Weiss turn down such a high-profile case? Winning those cases proved she was the best attorney in the city, and she wanted nothing more than to be the best.

Somehow, she must have figured out he was guilty, or suspected he was. Then, rather than accept the money and notoriety attached to this case, she turned him down.

For someone who pretended to be cold and uncaring, Weiss had a better moral compass than many of the people working for the department. That knowledge filled Ruby with so many feelings, but none stronger than the desire to...kiss...her...

"Basically, you got him," Ruby said to distract herself from that thought, but Yang shook her head.

"There's still a ton of work to do, but I have the stuff you found and a few key witnesses. If I can convince them that he'll be spending the rest of his life in prison, I think they'll talk."

"Let me know if I can help," Ruby offered before another idea popped into her head. "And...maybe sometime I could shadow you when you bring in a witness?" When Yang's brow rose, she hurried on. "Doesn't have to be this case. Nothing super important. I'm just...curious about how that works."

Yang had lots of questions - Ruby saw them in her eyes - but she didn't ask. Instead, she smiled.

"Of course. I'll let you know when I have a good one."

When Ruby nodded, grateful that Yang was always so willing to help, Yang clapped her hands and beamed.

"Now want to hear some great news?"

"That huge break wasn't great news?"

"Not even close," Yang replied before waving Ruby after her. "Come on. I have it pulled up on my computer."

"You know I can access your screen from here, right?"

When Ruby started to do just that, Yang lunged forward and grabbed her hand.

"Wait. It's...uh...kind of private. I don't want the whole station to know."

"I can tint the glass?" Ruby offered, but one look at Yang said that wasn't good enough. 'But someone could walk in' she would argue. 'And what if you can't hide the screen fast enough?'

"But I could use the walk," Ruby said before Yang brought up either of those points. Yang immediately relaxed and motioned Ruby after her. Ruby's curiosity, meanwhile, grew by leaps and bounds as they left the lab.

What did Yang want to show her that was a secret from the rest of the department? It must be a big deal if Ruby couldn't even pull it up on her computer.

"It's not illegal, is it?" she guessed.

"No," Yang scoffed. "Using a work computer for something illegal sounds like a horrible idea."

"You'd be surprised what people are dumb enough to do at work."

When Yang's brow shot up, Ruby simply nodded in silent confirmation. Thankfully, she hadn't spotted anything illegal - yet. Just...lots of searches that shouldn't be done at work.

"Next time I'm really drunk, let's talk about that."

"I don't think you can ever be drunk enough..."

"On second thought, let's never talk about it." Yang wrinkled her nose before shaking that thought away and waving Ruby over to her desk. "Take a look at this."

With Ruby standing beside her, Yang opened one of the browsers and leaned back so Ruby could see.

"What do you think?"

Now Ruby understood why Yang didn't want the rest of the department to know. Because everyone would go crazy if they saw the engagement ring on Yang's screen.

"Yang! Oh my god!"

Leaning closer, Ruby confirmed that it was, in fact, an engagement ring. A nice one too. Not super high-tech, but elegant and classy. Definitely something Blake would love.

"Think it looks ok?"

"'Ok?' It looks amazing! Are you going to buy it?"

"Planning on it. I just wanted your opinion first -"

"Yes," Ruby said while giving two thumbs up. "I think she'll love it."

"I do too." Looking at the screen, Yang blew a long breath through her lips. "At least, I hope so."

"She will!" After swatting Yang's shoulder as if that might bat the nerves away, Ruby read the rest of the ring's details. "You're getting one with all the features, right?"

"Uh…"

"You can always remove them," Ruby added while glancing through the list. "But adding them to something that small is hard."

"But do we really need -"

"Yes." When Yang scoffed at the blunt response, Ruby nodded. "Yes, you do! Come on, Yang. Don't cheap out on the ring - it's a symbol of your love!"

"Alright, fine." While Ruby pumped her fist at the agreement, Yang rolled her eyes. "I'll get the one with all the bells and whistles, but only if you help set it up."

"Of course."

Ruby waved away the request, mostly because she would want to do that anyway. Taking another look at the screen, she felt it sink in that Yang and Blake were that much closer to getting married. Married. As in...together forever. As in...they knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they never wanted anyone else.

"I'm so happy for you two!" After giving Yang a sideways hug, Ruby realized something important. "Wait. How're you going to ask?"

"No idea." Ruby's jaw dropped at the response, but Yang shrugged. "I figure I'll buy the ring, then pick a random day and ask when she least expects it."

"That's your plan?"

"That's the gist of it."

Ruby couldn't fathom making a decision like that. If she was going to propose to someone, she would plan out every detail in advance. Yang, however, looked nonplussed by the lack of direction.

"All I know is that I want to spend the rest of my life with her," Yang added before smiling at the ring in a way that made Ruby's heart warm for Yang and Blake both. She'd never met two people more destined to be together, and she couldn't be happier that they were so close to taking this next step in their relationship.

"I'm really happy for you," she said while patting Yang's back. "But do you at least have an idea of when you'll ask?"

Knowing Ruby was struggling with the unplanned nature of it, Yang laughed and shook her head.

"You'll be the first to know, but it might be a while. She's crazy busy at work, and I don't want to add any stress. Plus...I'm a little scared she'll say no."

"Please. Like she'd do that."

"You never know! Crazier things have happened."

"Sure, but she loves you. Why would she still be with you if she didn't want to stay for good? Anyone else would've run for the hills by now."

"Ha ha," Yang said dryly before chuckling and shaking her head. "But I guess you're right. If you happen to think of any great proposal ideas..."

"I'll let you know. But first - I want to watch you buy it."

"Seriously? Right now?"

"Yes!"

When Yang's nerves suddenly returned, Ruby gently pushed her towards the computer and watched her set up the ring to purchase. Several clicks later, a confirmation page filled the screen, and she let out a loud exhale while Ruby shook her by the shoulders.

"Congratulations!"

"I don't even have it yet," Yang pointed out while Ruby hugged her.

"But you're one step closer." After patting Yang's back in congratulations, Ruby pulled away and smiled. "I can't believe my sister's getting married."

"I haven't even asked!" When Ruby laughed, Yang shook her head but failed to hide a smile. "Please don't tell her…"

"Yang…"

"Or, if you do, you'd better get her to say yes."

"Why would I ask Blake to marry me?" Ruby joked before ducking Yang's playful swat. "You know I won't say anything," she added to put Yang's worries at ease. "Of course, the longer you wait…"

"Yeah, yeah...you'll turn up the heat, I know."

Happy with that response - happy in general right now - Ruby gave Yang another long hug before backing towards the door.

"Let me know when you get it?" she asked with a gesture at the computer.

"You know it. And...thanks, Ruby."

Ruby didn't often see Yang nervous, and this was an especially adorable situation for that side of her to show up. As much as Ruby wanted to stay and point it out, she also knew she should give Yang a moment to come to terms with what just happened - she just bought an engagement ring.

"Anything for you," Ruby added before heading back to her lab with wings on her feet and an unstoppable smile. Yang and Blake were going to get married. Ruby gained another sister in the process, which was pretty awesome too.

With that thought still top of mind, she rounded the next corner and felt her steps falter when she saw Weiss walking towards her. Just seeing Weiss was enough to make her smile ratchet up several levels, enough to send curiosity flickering through Weiss' eyes.

Before their paths crossed, however, Ruby remembered that they were surrounded by officers, detectives, lab workers, attorneys, and courtroom officials going about their jobs. And, as misfortune had it, everyone chose this exact moment to use this hallway, so Ruby couldn't even fathom saying hello or risking any motion of recognition. Weiss' eyes told the same story, though hers featured a bit of regret as she trained her gaze forward and walked past without a flinch of familiarity.

Even though it was expected, Ruby's heart ached at the lack of response. Along with that ache, however, was a feeling she'd never experienced in the way she felt for Weiss - longing.

Last night still lingered on her skin like a haze. Whenever she stopped and dwelled on what happened, she could almost feel Weiss' lips on hers. She could almost feel Weiss' hands running through her hair, trailing down her neck, and greedily clutching her sides. In that moment, Ruby knew that Weiss wanted her...the way she wanted Weiss too.

She still had no idea why she pulled away first. Where had she found the self-control to do that?

Maybe it wasn't self-control. Maybe it was just...a lot...and she wanted to make sure it was what they wanted before getting ahead of themselves. Today, she regretted not chasing those feelings to their inevitable conclusion. That was more than enough of an answer for her, but how did Weiss feel?

Hurrying into the lab, Ruby grabbed her phone and typed the first message that came to mind.

'You look nice today.'

The compliment was already on its way before she considered whether or not she should say something like that. Was that alright? Was she allowed to give compliments or did Weiss want to keep things purely...physical?

Before Ruby overthought the simple message, her phone buzzed with a response.

'You look nice too.'

Now Ruby couldn't stop smiling. Her case today featured a...special...attorney, so she put more effort into her outfit than usual. She hadn't even tried to get on Weiss' schedule this time, but Rob called in sick and someone had to take over.

Her first thought had been to tell Weiss, but that broke one of their rules. So she kept the news to herself but found her anticipation difficult to contain. How would their newfound closeness affect the way they worked in court? Could Weiss read her more easily? Could she tell when Weiss was fishing for answers or when she was leading Ruby along?

'Are you free now?'

The follow-up message arrived before Ruby responded to the first, and she couldn't believe her eyes even after reading it multiple times. She was absolutely free if Weiss wanted to see her, but where would they meet? Did Weiss mean somewhere in the station? Or at one of the nearby restaurants?

Normally, Ruby would try to figure out the answer on her own, but she didn't want to waste time and miss out on an opportunity to see Weiss sooner rather than later.

'Where?' she asked instead.

'Parking lot?'

The parking lot…?

"Oh, her car," Ruby muttered before turning towards her computer and pulling up a map of the sprawling Justice Center. "Ok, think Ruby…"

Knowing Weiss, this offer expired in about two minutes, so Ruby needed an answer fast. Could she mask her path so that no cameras picked her up on the way to the parking lot?

Fortunately for her, she'd set up the entire building's surveillance so knew it like the back of her hand. First, she tapped into the live feeds and found Weiss' car. Once she had that location, she marked every camera on the path from the front door to the parking structure. Her hands flew through several security protocols like they were on fire, but she quickly determined that covering her tracks would be a piece of cake.

'Be there soon,' she told Weiss before double-checking her work. Once confident that she'd circumvented her own system, she downloaded several key pieces of information to her phone and hurried out of her office.

When she spent the time recording alternate routes to and from work, she never anticipated using them to secretly meet Weiss Schnee in the parking lot. Not that she was complaining. It was just...unexpected.

Right before stepping outside, she slipped her holomask over one ear and set off for the parking lot where civilian cars and police cruisers waited to be summoned to pick up their riders. Meanwhile, the video version of her went to grab lunch. The chances of someone snooping on her were slim to none, especially since she routinely ran screens on herself to see if she had any spies, but it was easy to leave a different trail than the one she currently walked.

Part of her wondered why Weiss asked to meet in the middle of the day - this was one of their riskiest meetings yet - but the majority of her didn't care. After last night, she wanted to see Weiss so much that the risks seemed less and less concerning.

Spotting Weiss' car in the far corner of the lot, where it stuck out like a sore thumb next to the less luxurious vehicles around, Ruby took a deep breath and hurried over. Yang called it the 'bitchmobile,' which Ruby used to think was funny. Now, the car represented Weiss, and its blatant prestige served a purpose just like the rest of Weiss' act did.

Even though the windows were fully tinted, Ruby could feel Weiss watching her approach. At least, she convinced herself that Weiss was watching her - that suspicion was proven correct when the door opened the moment she got there.

Under ordinary circumstances, she would hesitate to enter a vehicle without first seeing who was inside. Today, she slipped into the cabin without a second thought and smiled the instant she saw Weiss sitting across from her.

Somehow, Weiss looked more attractive today than ever before. Her long, white hair held a perfect, gentle curl. Her blazer hugged her in all the right places. And when she calmly crossed her legs, drawing her skirt up in the process, Ruby quickly turned away.

"Wow." Suddenly blushing, Ruby focused on the interior of the vehicle and tried to ignore the somewhat smug smile on Weiss' lips. "This...car...is really nice."

"It does the job. It's more of a traveling office than anything else."

Ruby nodded at the apt description. The cabin felt more lived-in than Weiss' house, making her wonder what Weiss' office must feel like. And that made her wonder if she would ever see Weiss' office at all.

"How's your day?" Weiss asked, leaning forward as if the answer held particular significance to her. Ruby could almost look down Weiss' blouse at this angle, so she firmly kept her gaze on Weiss' gorgeous, blue eyes.

"Pretty good."

"Just good? You seemed pretty excited about something earlier."

"Oh!" Ruby lit up when she remembered the reason. "I have exciting news!" she added, only for Weiss to laugh.

"I can tell. You're practically buzzing."

"Because it's big news. Yang's going to propose!"

"Really? That's great." Weiss had already smiled before suddenly frowning and searching Ruby's eyes. "That is great, right? You like Blake?"

"I love her!" When Weiss quirked a brow at the enthusiastic answer, Ruby backpedaled. "I mean, I love her like a sister, because she basically is. Anything more than that is - well, Yang would kill me, not that I'd ever even consider..."

Hearing soft laughter, Ruby trailed off and felt her cheeks warm.

"I'm teasing," Weiss replied with a smile that warmed Ruby's heart up to match her cheeks. "I'm happy to hear that though. Good for them."

"I know. I'm really happy for them."

In the comfortable silence that followed, Ruby couldn't stop smiling and marveling at how crazy and amazing this was. They were technically at work yet still managed to find time to be together. Ruby probably could have stared at Weiss forever, but Weiss eventually broke eye contact and glanced out the window.

"I'm guessing you masked your walk over here?"

"I'm spoofing the video feeds. If someone looks for me, they'll be tracking me down at lunch."

While Ruby grinned at her bit of video magic, Weiss smiled.

"Having you around makes everything so much...easier."

To Ruby, there was no greater compliment. She loved uncomplicating what had become a very complicated world. Plus, the look Weiss gave her sent some serious shivers down her spine.

"I like helping…" she replied with a shy smile.

Just looking at Weiss, separated by nothing but a few feet across the cabin, made Ruby's desires from last night return, but she couldn't convince herself to turn away. Did Weiss feel it too? Is that why her gaze was so...intent?

"Oh -" Finally, a moment of relief when Weiss looked at her phone. "I have something to show you."

Ruby leaned forward to see whatever it was only to sit back in surprise when Weiss moved across the car and sat beside her instead.

"I saw this and immediately thought of you," Weiss explained while holding the screen for both of them to see.

With Weiss sitting so close, Ruby found it impossible to focus on the video, especially when the scent of Weiss' perfume drifted her way. From this distance, she could see Weiss' eyelashes move with every blink. She could see the light scar running across Weiss' eye, concealed from everyone else by a thin layer of makeup. And she could see the slight smile pulling at the corners of Weiss' lips while she watched the video on the screen.

At that moment, Ruby could honestly say that she'd never met anyone more beautiful, both inside and out.

"Does that look like someplace you'd want to go?"

When Weiss suddenly turned away from her phone, she caught Ruby in the midst of staring.

"Oh. Um, yes."

That seemed like the right answer, but Ruby couldn't think about anything other than how close their lips were right now. With their shoulders touching and Weiss leaning towards her, only a matter of inches separated them. All she had to do was lean forward…

"You weren't paying attention," Weiss said, but she didn't move away. And, when her gaze dipped to Ruby's lips, Ruby realized that she had no intention to. That was all the permission Ruby needed to close the gap between them, capturing Weiss' lips in a kiss that started hungrily and grew from there.

In no time at all, Ruby remembered how much she liked this. The way Weiss smelled...the way she tasted...the way she pressed closer - greedy, demanding, yet surprisingly gentle...

"Why'd you stop...?" Weiss slipped between kisses. Her hands were already moving along Ruby's arms, leaving goosebumps in their wake. "Last night?" she added before pulling Ruby into another kiss that erased her opportunity to respond.

Unfortunately, that kiss actually had an end, as Weiss leaned away and searched Ruby's eyes for an answer. Ruby, meanwhile, tried to catch her breath and remember how to form words.

"I - um, didn't...didn't want to rush you..."

For a second, Weiss looked surprised by the response. That surprise quickly faded into a smile, and she chuckled while setting her hand on Ruby's thigh and leaning closer. The touch alone sent Ruby's desire into the stratosphere, and that was before Weiss whispered into her ear.

"Ruby...when a girl has her hands up your shirt...you're not rushing her."

Before Ruby could respond, Weiss kissed her neck. A small gasp slipped out instead - the soft sound only spurring Weiss on.

Stopping early last night felt more and more like a mistake, especially when Weiss climbed onto Ruby's lap without a break in their kisses. Ruby's desire reached another level when Weiss' skirt rode up in the process, newly-exposed skin practically begging to be touched. Ruby held out for all of a second before setting her hands on Weiss' legs and sliding upward.

When her hands slipped underneath Weiss' skirt and Weiss responded by sighing in her ear, she knew there was no reason for self-control today.

"Ruby…" Weiss added before capturing Ruby's lips in a deep, passionate, breath-stealing kiss.

Feeling Weiss' tongue slide into her mouth only encouraged Ruby further, as any worry she had about this being too much, too fast, or one-sided evaporated. The moment her fingertips traced across lace, however, Weiss made a small noise of protest.

"We shouldn't..."

Ruby knew that they shouldn't, but that didn't stop her from wanting to. If Weiss expressed any hesitation, Ruby would stop, but their kisses hardly paused and Weiss pressed closer instead. The way her hands played with the bottom of Ruby's shirt implied she wanted more just as much as Ruby did -

"Not here -"

This time, Weiss pulled away and set her hand on top of Ruby's before it crept further to the inside of her thigh. Pupils dilated, lips parted, and chest rising and falling with excitement, she looked nothing like the Weiss that Ruby was used to...and that only made Ruby want her more.

"Ok," Ruby agreed regardless, struggling to come back down from that rush of emotions. Unsurprisingly, Weiss pulled herself back together much faster, running her fingers through her hair and taking several deep breaths to calm herself.

"Not here," she repeated, this time with a purposeful look around the car. "And not now," she added before leaning across Ruby to check the time. "Dammit, I have to be in court in fifteen minutes."

Just like that, the mood shifted, and Weiss slipped out of Ruby's lap. Using her phone, she gave herself a good once-over before straightening her skirt and smoothing her hair.

"What time is it?"

When Weiss held up her phone, Ruby glanced at the time and felt her eyes widen.

"Crap," she said before running a hand through her own hair. "Judge Jones hates when people are late."

After making sure her outfit was still in place, Ruby turned and froze when she saw the way Weiss was staring at her.

"You're on the Pruitt case?"

"I might be…" Ruby answered carefully before holding out her hands as if Weiss might bolt from the car. "But that's ok...right? We're fine with working against each other, right?"

"Are we?"

Surprised by the question, Ruby tilted her head and frowned.

"What do you mean? Of course we are -"

"We haven't seen each other in court since this happened." Weiss gestured between them before sighing and running a hand through her hair. "Shit. What the hell are we thinking, Ruby? We can't do our jobs when we're seeing each other like this -"

"Wait wait wait." Sensing the turn Weiss might take with this conversation, Ruby grabbed Weiss' hands and gave them a reassuring squeeze. "It's fine, ok? We knew what our work relationship was like coming into this. That hasn't magically changed."

Weiss made a soft noise of agreement but turned away, so Ruby tried again.

"We're both adults. We're more than capable of separating what happens here from what happens out there, right?"

When Weiss frowned and bit her lip, Ruby worried that she might say no. That they couldn't lead separate lives like that. That they weren't allowed to be together and therefore couldn't be.

"But…" Weiss began before taking a deep breath. "I might say some...harsh things…"

"I know." While relieving, that response gave Ruby even more confidence that this would work. "I won't hold anything against you - I promise."

From Weiss' frown, she didn't believe that was true. But she eventually nodded and forced a brief smile.

"If you say so. We'll just...do what we have to do."

"Right."

Ruby was pretty sure she was fine with that. At the same time...she hadn't faced that version of Weiss in a while. What would it feel like to have someone she liked so much snapping at her, interrupting her, and casting doubt on everything she said?

"Will you be ok with it?" she asked when she realized that Weiss might take a loss pretty hard.

"I think so."

Not exactly the most confidence-inspiring answer. Unfortunately, they didn't have time for building confidence right now.

"Then...I'll see you in a few?"

Ruby threw in a hopeful smile, but Weiss responded with another distracted, worried expression. There was a lot on her mind, but they didn't have time to discuss it. Instead, she leaned forward and quickly kissed Ruby before slipping out of the car without another word.

Listening to Weiss' heels clicking away, Ruby closed her eyes, slouched against the seat, and sighed. They both knew that any relationship between them wouldn't be easy, so this shouldn't feel like such a surprise. But...she'd kind of hoped for more of that happy yet nerve-wracking time period before facing a test that could very well blow this apart.

Whatever Weiss said or did, Ruby had to be ok with it. At the very least, she had to accept that Weiss always did her job to the best of her ability. Sometimes, that meant saying some not-so-pleasant things. That was all work Weiss.

As soon as Ruby could no longer hear Weiss' heels, she slipped out of the car and hurried back to the station.

Maybe Weiss was right. Maybe this was concerning. Maybe they couldn't do their jobs properly anymore. Maybe they would let something slip.

That was a lot of maybes. Ultimately, Ruby didn't believe any of that would happen. She was a professional. Weiss was an absolute professional. As soon as they stepped into the courtroom, they would do their jobs like they always had.

But she'd never liked work Weiss very much...what would it be like to face that side of her again?
