Meanwhile, back down on Earth, eyes fluttered open as fast as lightning as Ruby just snapped out of her peaceful meditation by a force which just sent her many alarms inside her head. Her face was covered with cold sweat as her heart was hammering against her ribcage. She tried to inhale deeply in order to calm her heart rate down, but her efforts were in vain because her awareness was still reacting to the danger that is dancing around in the air, despite the silence that is surrounding the atmosphere in the temple. Not wanting to jump to conclusions fast she shot up from her seat and was about to go and ask her masters if they had sensed this strange feeling as well.

However, she did not have to go far because the moment she got herself onto her feet, the door behind her slid open, revealing Master Yara.

"Master!" The Water-Bender girl called out a little startled by the blind elderly-woman's sudden appearance.

"Your senses are not wrong my child." Yara told her student as if she had caught the thoughts that are running inside Ruby's mind. "And not only that, it seems that the Prince of Spirit World is requiring your assistance." That piece of information made the bender girl's eyes go wide in surprise, but that soon turned into a look of concern.

"What?" Ruby asked carefully. On cue her other master, Genkai appeared next to her blind sister.

"The city is in chaos!" The famous Psychic told her with a serious tone. "And some friend of yours might need some help there." That was enough information for the Water-Bender who thanked her masters and quickly prepared herself for her new and first mission.

Inside the depth of the city, at Sarayashiki Jr. High Keiko was walking down the hallway with his head lowered to the ground and deep in her thoughts. However, it was cut short when she heard Mr. Iwamoto's voice calling out to her.

"Miss Yukimora?" Asked the man in surprise. "You're still at school?"

"Yes Mr. Iwamoto." Replied the brunette girl politely.

"Go on home and get some sleep." The teacher advised. "Our big test is tomorrow. You want a score high and boast our High School ratings, don't you?"

"Just as soon as I finished my Student Council work sir." Keiko replied blankly.

"Good." The man nodded his head. "Any news on the Urameshi siblings? I've noticed they had skipped for several days. I can understand Yusuke, but not his sister."

"That's easy." Keiko replied with a little firmness in her tone. "I don't know about Yusuke, but Miyuki got injured during her time in that Boot Camp."

"I see." Mr. Iwamoto replied, though he still stand on his beliefs of how both Urameshi sibling are nothing more than trouble. "They are roaches Yukimora. I hate you to be affected by his disease." With that, he walked away.

"Yes sir." The brunette girl replied curtly before sticking her tongue out. Just as she turned around she also saw another teacher walking down the halls. He was in hid mid-thirties with short night-black hair and round glasses that were covering his baby-blue orbs. "G-good, evening Mr. Yoshida." Keiko greeted the adult, slightly startled since she didn't hear him coming.

"Evening Miss Yukimora." The man replied with a warm smile before his eyes darted towards Iwamoto's back and his gaze quickly shifted into a gaze. "Also, don't mind his words. He is just blinded by his own power and idiotic beliefs." He reassured his fellow student who was a little taken aback, but nodded her head with a small smile.

"I will." Keiko replied with a kind voice.

"Now go and finish your work." Mr. Yoshida instructed with a gentle tone. "But don't work over yourself. It" With that he left her to her duties. As the man walked away the brunette girl couldn't help but stare at his back in awe struck.

'Wow. . .' She thought to herself as she admired the teacher who just defended her friend's honour. 'Miyuki was right, he is so nice.' But then a small frown appeared on her face. 'Too bad I don't have time to be in his Drama Club.' And with that she went into one of the offices.

As she disappeared through the door, Mr. Yoshida turned to the next corner. But as soon as he got there he didn't notice the fist that had landed onto the back of his neck, knocking him out cold.

In the outside world, Botan landed on her butt and was cornered by the many infected people who had surrounded her. She still had the baseball bat in her grasp but still, that doesn't change the fact that she was out numbered. She heard Koenma through her communicator but those pleas and desperate cries of his had fallen onto deaf ears and the young Grim Reaper was too petrified to pay attention to him. Her entire body was glued to her tight spot and was shaking in fear.

She didn't know what to do, she couldn't find a way out.

Just before things could escalate any further, water was blasted at her attackers which eventually froze them in place. Literally.

"What the. . .?" The young blunette never got to finish her sentence because someone picked her up fast and the next thing she knew she was on top of a building's rooftop. A place where she is now away from the danger.

"Are you okay Botan?" Asked Ruby as she gently held onto her friend's shoulders. The bluenette could only nod in reply before she and her friend noticed something down where the group of infected people were in the alley. Those the bender girl had trapped in ice were unable to move, but the ones who are still able to walk left the are and headed towards. . . .

"Yusuke's and Miyuki's High School. . ." The Grim Reaper breathed out intensely. Noticing that this is now normally how the Makai insects would work. Unless someone gave a specific order to do so. Realization soon dawned on her and immediately she snapped her head toward the Water-Bender. "Ruby, I need you to take me to that school."

"Got it!" Ruby replied without any hesitation and lifted up her wings before picking up her blunette friend and flew towards the Sarayashiki Jr. High's grounds fast.

Inside the office Keiko had finally finished with her paper works.

"These fliers will be perfect." The brunette girl said, satisfied with the fruit of her work. "Once Miyuki comes back, we will be able to place them around the school." With that she placed them into her backpack and left through the door. Just as she turned toward the hallway, she saw someone's legs sticking out at the very end. Her grip went loose and her black backpack fell with a loud thud. Panicked about the person's wellbeing, she rushed over. "Sir?" She asked with concern only to gasp in shock by the sight of Mr. Yoshida unconscious state. "MR. YOSHIDA!" The brunette girl cried out frantically as she kneeled down and shake the teacher's figure.

No response came.

However, before Keiko can continue on with her attempts on waking up her teacher, another figure merged from the shadows.

"Yukimora, it's time for your detention!" Said Mr. Iwamoto whose skin was pale and blue while he held a crazed look on his face.

"M-Mr. Iwamoto?!" Keiko stuttered as her trembling eyes looked at her other teacher with confusion but mostly fear. Out of the blue the man lifted up a fist and threw a punch toward the girl who dodged it fast and began to run as fast as her legs could carry her. Thankfully she was able to reach the outside world, but also to her unfortunate, many infected people were there to 'greet' and 'meet' her. To the brunette girl's utter shock, they were all calling her by her full name. "They must be those fanatics they mentioned in the newspaper, but how do they know my name?!" She turned around the corner, hopefully about being able to find some shelter. Sadly, she only met with Mr. Iwamoto who held a large and sinister smile on his face.

"You had been a really-really bad girl, Miss Yukimora!" He said before approaching the frightened girl who tried to once more get away. Luckily there was an opening, so she took it fast and escaped as far as she could.

We kept on running up the stairs of the long tower, ordering our legs to carry us as fast as they possibly cam. Only one Saint Beast left to be dealt with.

However, as we were running up, I saw Kuwabara suddenly stop, making me stop on my tracks as well and look at his intense expression with concern.

"What now? Got cramps?!" Yusuke asked confused and sarcastically, clearly wanting things to be finished as best as they can.

"My whole brain just felt like an ice cube." Kuwabara replied carefully with his now shaky voice as he looked up with a scared and worried expression. "Something bad is happening. I think back on Earth." Now that made my mind automatically think of the girls and their well-being. We had been here for a long time now, and since our last communication Botan hadn't called even once to update us. That could mean that either she is really busy dealing with those zombies or something bad had caught up to her.

"No telling how long we've been here. " Rosehead observed. "The beasts have most likely organized a counter-assault using the Makai."

"Only one more, let's not waste time." Hiei stated firmly, making me nod in agreement. Without any further ado, we continued sprinting up to the exit.

"Hurry up!" My Spirit Detective Partner urged us.

"Shut up!" Kuwabara snapped at my brother as we kept on running fast.

Soon we were outside the area, running on a bridge and toward our next and final destination, the huge tower was standing not too far away with all the storm surrounding the sky above us.

"What the hell is that thing?" My brother asked as the yellow lightning struck down behind that very building.

"It's the watchtower, I'm sure that's where he's hiding." Hiei answered.

"Then let's drag him out!" I suggested with a stern voice before sprinting forward. Almost there. Just a little more.

Keiko just dodged another one of the infected peoples assault before she made her great exit. She had ordered her heels to turn fast toward the next corner. Just as the brunette girl passed by some bushes, hands emerged from the leaves and grabbed her, covering her mouth to muffle her screams while pulling her in. Keiko was kicking and screaming, but as soon as she saw who the person was, she started to calm down a little.

"There." Botan breathed out as she let go of Keiko.

"Hey, you're that girl. . ." The brunette girl said before she turned to the other female with almond skin and long black hair. "But. . . who are you?"

"It's alright Keiko, we are not here to harm you." The Water-Bender reassured her. "However, are you injured in any way?"

"Uh, no I don't think so. . ." The brunette girl replied shakily while the Grim Reaper pulled out her communicator. "Miyuki?" Botan called. "It's Botan, do you copy?"

"Huh?" Keiko hummed questioningly as she scooted closer to the communicator and wonder who is she talking to.

Suddenly we were cut off by the sound of my communicator that went off in my brother's pocket.

"What now?" Yusuke complained irritatedly before picking the call up. I rushed to his side to look at the screen-.

"Small problem." Botan said as two familiar girls were by her side. One who I know as my training buddy from Genkai's and Yara's temple, and the other one who is. . .

"Keiko?!" Yusuke exclaimed in shock.

"Ruby?!" I cried out just as surprised as my brother was. How did she get there?

"Koenma sent a message through Genkai a few hours ago." Ruby explained quickly and quietly answering the question that popped into my head. " I saved Botan from those infected people and later on we had to hurry and pick up Keiko from school. It seems that everyone who got infected in this area is looking for her."

"What?!" My brother yelled in panic.

"Yes, and I don't they're here for a talk." Botan added fast. "We're almost certain they mean to kill her!" I silently gasped at that before the conclusion came in my mind. This cannot be a coincidence. That must be the leader of the Saint Beasts' doing.

"Did you say 'kill'?!" Yusuke demanded not wanting to believe what we just heard a second ago.

"So, that's what my premonition was." Kazuma loudly guessed beside me.

"These beasts must be using the Makai whistle to order the-!" Botan started to explain but was cut off by something that made all three girls scream in fright. And that was the last thing we saw before the screen went all fuzzy leaving us with a cliffhanger that would happen in the most intense moments within a movie's story.

"Botan?! Are you there?! BOTAN!" My brother yelled frantically and desperate to know if everything was still okay there, but it was no use, they were gone and now we have nothing that could help us see them.

"I don't have a good feeling about this." Kazuma commented.

"Let's destroy that whistle as quickly as possible!" I stated firmly before running toward the tower building with speed. The lightning just kept on booming in the air, but no water fell from those dark clouds. I really wouldn't mind if the rain would fall right now, it would help me restore the water supply that is going to run out in any moment.

"Ok guys, that is a spooky watch tower." Kuwabara commented a little tensed up.

"The last beast should be on top floor." Shuichi stated.

"Then let's climb some stairs." Yusuke said. I nodded my head mutely and took a step forward, but immediately stopped when I hear multiple moaning and groaning sounds, similar to. . . zombies? I looked for the source of those voices and sure enough I saw them. Many human-like creatures came out of the tunnels that were right next to our entrance. But they did not look so alive like the ones I knew. Their skin held a dark-green color with texture that reminded me of plant and their leaves.

"Hey, who are those people?" Kuwabara asked with the slightest fear in his voice as those human bodies kept on approaching us while surrounding the castle and block our only entrance. "Whatever those guys are there sure are a lot of them. It's gonna take us about a year to beat them all!"

"Yes, considering our time restraints, this could be a real problem." Kurama agreed, making me glare at those stupid zombies. Damn that Beast, he planned this ahead.

"I've had dealings with cultivated humans before, they do not feel pain or fear." Hiei explained beside me.

"How twisted do you have to be to turn humans into monsters like that?! " Kuwabara asked with disgust.

"The girls must be in some deep trouble if that bastard wants to waste our time like this. " I commented with a glare.

"Like hell she is!" My brother snapped but agreed with my statement. "Stupid monster humans trying to slow us down! I'm blowing them all away with my shotgun!" He raised his fist and was about to use the 'Shot-Gun' technique for sure, but before he can waste his energy on these brainless idiots Rosehead placed a hand on his shoulder and pulled my brother aside, stopping him from his reckless plan.

"Let's use our heads." Kurama advised earning a questioning look from my brother.

"What? You want me to headbutt them?!" Yusuke asked irritatedly, making me facepalm mentally. My brother is an idiot, as always.

"It's not wise to waste your spirit power." The redhead pointed out the obvious. "The more impatient we are, the more mistakes we'll make."

"Well, how is headbutting gonna help?!" Stupid Yusuke snapped impatiently. "My shotgun is the only way we're gonna get past them!"

"No dimwit! He meant we need a plan." I shouted at him sternly before turning to the tower and step out of the group. "Maybe if I use some of my water that is left, I can probably boost us up over there. " I suggested as I pointed at the tower's first window. Sadly, however, once I do that for all of us, I won't have enough water, nor spirit energy to deal with our last enemy. Damn it, if it wasn't for that Lava pit, I wouldn't be in a situation right now. Stupid me and those stupid limits.

"There is no need for that Little Detective." Hiei suddenly spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Well, I'm sorry Mr. Mysterious, but as it turns out I forgot to bring my pongo stick!" Yusuke pointed out annoyed.

"Yeah, how do you expect to jump that high?! " Kuwabara agreed with my brother.

"I'll need you to listen closely." Hiei instructed as a bolt of huge lightning boomed again. We did as he asked and listened to his plan. Once he finished explaining I couldn't help but admire his brilliant way of thinking. For someone who is so straight forward and always jumps into fights he does have a good brain here when he wants to use it. Hiei's plan makes sense and it will work. Only thing here is the boys, especially my brother doesn't want me to come facing the last Saint Beast because, for one, my water bending abilities were minimal at the moment and need some time to recover it. And two, he says it would be the best if I am not seen by my so-called 'Future husband' which just sounded disturbing and disgusting.

"Are you sure you don't need back up?" I asked my brother with a serious tone, but I was also worried that he would have a hard time like when Kuwabara and Byakko fought.

"Don't worry sis, I will kick his ass!" Yusuke replied confidently before patting me in the shoulder. "Besides I've got some serious discussion about your sudden engagement." Okay, if it wasn't for the situation and the hurry I would have kicked the punk's ass right there and then for joking about something this idiotic.

"Oh, shut up." I scolded at him annoyed as I shook my head with disapproval.

"Enough with the jokes and let's move." Hiei sternly said. Both me and my brother nodded and prepared to set Shadow Lord's plan into motion.

"Alright then!" Kuwabara exclaimed as he positioned himself to go, just like the rest of us.

"You best not blow this, Kuwabara." My brother warned Carrot head with a sharp tone.

"Don't worry, I'm like an ox!" Kazuma reassured before running toward the zombies. We were soon right behind his heels.

"Just do me one favour, you guys." Kuwabara shouted. "Try not to dig in with your shoes, okay?!" He asked between heavy pants.

"Hey! Shut up and keep running!" Yusuke told him. Just then Kazuma beat his way between the cultivated humans and stood his ground still, with his legs spread.

"Alright guys, let it rip!" Kazuma exclaimed as I pulled out the remaining water out of my pouch and began to slice the zombies away from my teammates with the help of my water whip. As I was clearing the path from the plant like humans, I would occasionally take a glance at the boys.

At the moment I was able to see Hiei jumping onto Rosehead's shoulders, just before my brother came to follow his example. He stomped onto Kazuma's back then boosted himself upward. He did the same with Kurama and then to Hiei. In the very end, Yusuke jumped off of the demon boy's shoulder, making their tower fall out of balance, but the two demons were smart enough to jump off just in time. My stare followed my brother who caught the frame of the window.

'He did it!' I mentally sighed in relief.

"We did it!" Kuwabara laughed as my brother climbed up to the window's entrance and turn back down to us grinning.

"Ha! Remind me to try out for the cheerleading squad." Yusuke commented. "You guys have fun with the veggie heads." He shouted before letting out a laugh.

"You better not die on me, okay?!" Kazuma shouted back as he waved his fist in the air. I looked up to my brother and he returned the gesture as well. This is it. The final match. There is no turning back now.

"Kick his ass Brother!" I told him with a firm but also somewhat encouraging tone, only to earn a wide grin from my brother and a thumbs up. With that, he left. I turned to my friends then at the zombies.

"Heh, poor guys, I'm gonna feel bad for kicking your butts. " Kazuma commented loudly before going for one of those veggie heads and punch it hard. I raised my right hand up higher as my fingers curled up. The water whip soon formed into a ball that levitated in front of me. I pull out two of my kunai knives from my small bag and placed it into each of my grasps. I moved both my hands up and down in a circular motion, making the water ball part in the middle, then I positioned my forearms into an 'x' in front of my face. The water snaked up to my knives and soon they became an extension of the smaller blades, creating two long water swords to my command. With that being done I began to charge at them with full speed slicing the zombie creatures with my ice swords. Perfectly sharp. With no hesitation, I jumped into the slaughter and cut those ugly zombies into pieces.

Just as I sliced through a few of those monsters I see some of them jump into the air from the corner of my eyes, probably trying to ambush me in a way. I was ready to cut them in half but someone already beat me to it. It was that fast and black blurry figure who I know as the Almighty Shadow Lord. Our eyes met the moment he landed onto the ground but we quickly broke contact and continued on with our task on killing these plant creatures.

'No!' I scolded myself. 'Don't distract yourself!' I can't afford to lose more energy, for now, I just hope I will regain enough to help Yusuke later on. If we managed to get through these things first.

Yusuke's legs climbed the spiral staircase fast while his mind was focusing on the main things that are important to him.

'She better be okay.' Yusuke thought to himself as he thought about Keiko who was trying to get away from the infected humans with Botan's and Ruby's help. Yusuke finally got to the end of the stairs and got inside a room where the last Saint Beast is. When he got inside, however, his eyes immediately went to the huge screen where he saw the three mentioned girls frantically running for their lives. "Keiko! Botan! Ruby!" Yusuke shouted worriedly as his eyes widened in fear. Under the screen, the figure began to play on the instrument before getting up from his chair and walk up to the male Spirit Detective. "Put that thing down!" Yusuke growled as his eyes sent daggers to the figure. As soon as his enemy came to the light, his features were shown. Hair that was as orange as the flames, it reached above his shoulders while two red tentacles that were attached to his two bans. He wore a circlet with a green gem in the middle while he was wearing a pink scarf and an old-fashioned red shirt with a purple robe belt around his waist and baggy white pants.

"So nice to see you in person after watching you attempt to ruin my plans for so long." The leader of the Saint Beasts spoke coolly while his green bird was flying above him. "I am Suzaku, leader of the Saint Beasts." He introduced himself. On cue, his bird flew down to his shoulder.

"And I am his dear Murugu." The female bird introduced herself as well, smugly. Yusuke said nothing but glare at the two furiously, making Suzaku smirk.

"I've been watching your dear Keiko. " He pointed over his shoulder. "It's amazing how much humans resemble animals when they're being hunted." At that Muguru laughed in delight making the male Spirit Detective's anger rise up through the roof. "But like each species, it also has its own collection of beauties like that girl of yours in your team. Miyuki, I believe her name was. Well, she is quite extraordinary, isn't she?" Suzaku's smugly added as his smirk hardens.

"Here's a deal!" Yusuke finally snapped. "Pull your zombies off Keiko and leave my little sister out of this, and then maybe I'll only pull out one of your lungs." He threatened as his glare hardens.

"Sister huh?" The Saint Beast asked with a blank expression. "And if I refuse both of those requests?" The reply just angered up Yusuke even more.

"Then hold your freaking breath!" Yusuke shouted.
