146. Burst Battle Match!

In the Cerise Laboratory, the heroes were talking about the days about using Burst as Burst Warriors.

"Man, using Burst is awesome!" Goh said.

"So, what does feel in using Burst?" Magika asked.

"Using Burst will make you feel like that you're Pokemon when you're combining with them or you can just directly transform without combining." Ash said.

"I have to call Alain right now!" Goh said and he tries to call Alain via his Rotom Phone but to no avail. "Uh, I think Alain is busy maybe..."

"Nevermind. Shall we start the Burst Battle Match?" Ben asked.

"Uh?" The heroes asked in confusion.

"Burst Battle Match, in other words, a competition where Burst Warriors or non Burst Warriors battle against each other and if the player lose, the latter gets a winner." Gwen said. "I guess this will serve as a training."

"Awesome! Let's prepare for the contest today!" Ash said and the kids were preparing for the Burst Battle Match.

Few minutes later, the battle is arranged by Rook, Julie and Kevin.

The first round is Magika vs Serena, Goh vs Clemont and Ash vs Ben.

"Okay, first round is Magika vs Serena." Gwen said.

"Wait a minute! I don't have a Burst Heart!" Magika said.

"Replicate!" Serena used her Burst Heart to give Magika a magenta Burst Heart. "You can use the duplicate Burst Heart and select the Pokemon you combine with."

Magika goes to the kids' Pokemon and she chooses Serena's Sylveon.

"Okay, I got Sylveon. Burst!" Magika used Burst to combine with Serena's Sylveon.

Magika became awed at her Burst Form.

"Whoa! I am a Sylveon!" Magika said.

"So, Pangoro. Are you ready?" Serena asked Pangoro and it nodded. "Burst!"

Serena combined with Pangoro and the two were ready to fight.

"Now, let the battle begin!" Gwen declared.

"Swift!" Magika shoots the yellow stars at Serena from her tail.

Serena evaded and she shouts, "Dark Pulse!" shooting the dark circle beam at Magika.

"Protect!" Magika formed a shield around her to defend from a Dark Pulse.

"Fairy Wind!" Magika blows a strong pink gust at Serena but she withstood.

"Now my turn! Stone Edge!" Serena punches the ground with her fist and then, the boulders rushed towards Magika and hit her, defeating her in process.

Magika got knocked and separated from Sylveon.

"Serena's damn sure strong!" Magika said.

"Magika was defeated, so Serena's a winner!" Gwen said.

"Release!" Serena separates from Pangoro and goes to Magika, getting her up.

"Are you okay?" Serena asked.

"Yeah, I am..." Magika said. "Whoa, you're tough but I am not."

"You fought very well, Magika." Serena said. "Next time, you'll become stronger."

"You're right." Magika shared fistbumps with Serena.

"Now, the next round is Goh vs Clemont!" Gwen said and the two participants: Goh and Clemont were ready for a fight.

"Okay, Goh. Ready?" Clemont asked.

"Always!" Goh said with confidence.

"Burst!" Goh and Clemont used Burst to combine with Flygon and Luxray.

"Now, let the battle begin!" Gwen declared.

"Dragon Pulse!" Goh shoots the indigo dragon shaped beam at Clemont.

"Discharge!" Clemont releases the electricity from body to counter Goh's attack.

"Dragon Claw!" Goh's claw glowed green and grew longer and flew to strike Clemont.

"Thunder Fang!" Clemont's fang became electrical and clashed with Goh's Dragon Claw.

The attacks clashed each other and that pushed them back.

Goh and Clemont were exhausted.

"Looks like the two were exhausted. So it's considered a draw!" Gwen said.

"Not bad, Clemont. You're disadvantage against me due to my Ground typing over your Electric typing yet you beat me." Goh said.

"Nah, Gwen considered this draw." Clemont said and he stood up. "You fought very well."

"Now, my turn!" Ash said.

"Yeah, me too!" Ben said.

"Replicate!" Ash creates a green Burst Heart for Ben.

"Burst!" Ash and Ben used Burst to combine with Greninja and Chloe's Boltund.

"Let's see for what you've got!" Ben said.

"Let's see you will fight even without your Omnitrix!" Ash said.

"Okay. Let the battle begin!" Gwen said.

The fight began.

"Agility!" Ben ran towards Ash with high speed.

"Night Slash!" Ash slashes Ben with his dark energy knife but Ben dodged.

"Thunder Fang!" Ben strikes Ash down with his electrical fangs.

"Double Team!" Ash creates the multiple fake copies to confuse Ben.

"Oh, copies eh?" Ben asked. "Then, how about this? Thunderbolt!" Ben electrocutes all of the Ash's copies and it found the actual Ash, electrocuting him.

"Ow! So you found me and beaten me! Not bad for using Burst for first time." Ash said as he cancelled his fusion from Greninja.

"Yeah but I've won!" Ben said as he cancelled his fusion from Chloe's Boltund.

"So, Ash was defeated, Ben is the winnner!" Gwen said.

"Wow, Ben has won the match!" Julie said.

"Nice job, dude! You're good in using Burst as if you're going alien." Kevin said.

"So, guys, this ends the match!" Ash said. "Next time. We'll train to do everything to save Pokemon and people in this world as well as obtaining our dreams."

The heroes agreed of what Ben said.

A/N: Hey, I am back! See, what a long 1 month hiatus I've took! Well, sorry about this... Due to being busy with my other projects, my plans for this story have been changed...

I know you've seen too many Super Sentai and Kamen Rider references in this story because I am a huge fan of these tokusatsu shows. Well, there are chapters related to discovering and saving Pokemon, fighting off the villains and meeting past characters of this show. I think this fanfic shall be ended upto 230 or 235 chapters.

And there's an information regarding the new team power up for Burst Warriors (minus Alain)

The power up is called Burst X Mode in which the user grants the metallic armor based on a specific Pokemon and activates Beast Mode, allowing them to turn into a futuristic, robotic Pokemon and increases the special attacks. However, there's a drawback of this power up: If user stays Beast Mode for long more than 10 minutes, they will drain their energy and change back to normal mode and making them faint. This power up can be accessed when Pokemon and trainers' bond are stronger 10x times. I don't know when it will appear but when time comes... I am planned for the kids to be swordsmen but I've changed my plans due to my long hiatus. I guess remaining these Holy Swords to other characters. (Hence, Ash, Goh, Magika and Alain were the users of Inochi Ho-Ohken, Kaen Ryuken, Hanashi Mahouken and Kachidoki Sensoken)

I forgot to tell about the motifs of the user's Pokemon in Burst X Mode.

Ash = Greninja

Goh = Pyroar

Chloe = Boltund

Dawn = Empoleon

Serena = Sylveon

Clemont = Luxray

Spoiler alert: New power ups for Ben, Bonnie and Gwen

Ben will obtain a berserker alien form called Overkill (A Venom like Alien) accessed by using a Klyntarr Capsule into his Omnitrix, Bonnie will achieve final form called Royal Tigress once she befriends a sad Primitive Tigress in her vision and accessed by using her Primitive Tigress Brace with Royal Key. Gwen will achieve true Anodite form when she unlocked her true potential of mysticsm.
