"Hello Everyone! This block took me so much longer to break than I thought took considerable effort but the breakthrough finally came, this chapter had to go through heavy editing and was in need of rewriting as I don't do post subpar work by any means, so first let me tell you, I'm adding the Land Before Time universe into this story, already I can hear you asking why would I do that? Let the chapters tell you why, in short, this is Critical to the story and the upcoming chapters ahead, I gave this plenty of time and decided this is the way to go for our beloved characters, for Harry Potter and Star Wars fans the next chapters WILL see them taking more active roles instead of the sidelines for sure! There are more surprises I've planned in mind get ready to see them in action!
Enjoy Chapter 10!"
Chapter 10: Taking Charge
For the great majority of students, Hogwarts in their eyes the school of magic eager to unlock the power they never knew they had, families went to great lengths to ensure they receive only the best nothing less like they experienced before the current generation was by more enthusiastic, having heard so much from the media going all out encouraging everyone of all ages alike to learn as much as they can, dozens of more schools across the world recently opened their doors most former professors took advantage taking their new positions like they once did at Hogwarts, more so can be said for both Elsa and Anna before the great second wizard war begin preparations after much deliberation broke the news to them.
For Anna, her reaction mixed between joy and concern knowing the hidden power she wielded, either for good or ill did her utmost to keep it under control wanted nothing more than to enjoy her powers with her elder sister as they did before the longer she use her power the more strained she became, sometimes abruptly withdraw herself from meal times with the other nobles often led her sister covering for her shortly after she left the temperature in the castle soared, occasionally turning silver plates and utensils into what looked like candle wax and heating chains holding the chandeliers sending them crashing down on them, but her father reacted instantly grabbing her detour into his personal study.
Anna shuddered the meeting was of utmost importance to her father, and over three months put blood and sweat into getting delegates from each country. After a brief skirmish by proxy rebels now it seems an agreement won't be reached.
"Why did you bring me? You knew… you knew my powers are not stable. You put everyone at risk! Why did~," Anna briefly cut off, feeling her father's warm hands on her shoulders.
"Anna, you are of the right age you needed to be there. Mother and I discussed this, this is not your fault."
"Daddy, stop lying! This IS MY FAULT! If you hadn't put me there with them, I would not have lost control… you~" shouted Anna, her eyes glowing bright red, her father however remained unfazed.
"My dear Anna, hear what I need to tell you, you're my sacred treasure! I'll trade no one but everything for you. Your powers are a gift to you and the world at large."
"Nothing that you do will make me love you less, nothing you've done could make me close the door, and every tear you cry is precious in my eyes, everything I've done I did it for you, Anna." King Agnarr's loving words moved her, standing stunned as she fixed her on him dash towards him as she hugged him tightly, her entire body warming up.
"I won't… let you down, father, I swear it!" the king chuckled, hugging her back compassionately.
"Never once have you let me down Anna, you are our great pride and joy do not let anyone say or tell you otherwise, promise me."
"I promise daddy, in my life till my dying breath!" Agnarr keenly observed his daughter, though she was young her passionate love not just for him but for his wife, himself and Elsa burned like a great bonfire that grew day after day something he never let himself compare his two daughters gave him boundless pride and pleasure in them both.
"Dear Anna, Elsa wanted to give you this necklace. She told me you asked her repeatedly for it, here it is." King Agnarr presented to her a small square sky blue box in both his hands. Anna excitedly gently opened the lid, her heart racing like a child receiving their long-awaited Christmas present.
"Woooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! It's so… so~" there lay before her lay a snowflake, and on two edges were two silvery chains as her eyes widen in awe.
"Beautiful! Indeed… it truly is! "Her father barely helped but was amazed. For weeks Elsa frequently disappeared after mealtime, not saying a word, locking herself in one of her private studies. Putting it together, he understood the true reason for her odd behaviour.
"Daddy, could you?" said Anna joyfully, noticing the temperature in the room suddenly rose yet he didn't mind as overtime he wore special clothing enabling him to withstand the near overbearing heat, as did previously he sweat promiscuously took the necklace carefully placing over it around her neck.
"Elsa put in tremendous effort to make this for you, keep it safe or she may not forgive you if you lose it, come along, Hogwarts awaits!" From that day on, Anna wore her new necklace proudly making sure it stayed with her by her side, whenever her power became too much to bear her necklace glowed smoothing her as she reminded herself of Elsa, knowing no matter the distance from or far they will always be together even if she had to comb heaven and earth to find her.
Today was the special day for Prime Empress Elsa, the day she specially organised for someone wanting very much to get to Hogwarts, where it all started notified Headmistress McGonagall of the upcoming event a week ago, Hogwarts popularity rose alongside the other schools as most preferred to make it their school of choice, increasing its prestige to a new level unprecedented since the time of its founding as new students flock to the school like birds.
The fan clubs over time grew, taking in new students, duelling clubs expanded to duelling against other houses in friendly competition under the teacher's watchful guidance, amidst the rise of increasing unauthorized private duels taught by the third-year students and higher. The Frostborn followed closely behind her as Elsa apparated into her newly build massive Armageddon prime capital ship, capable of carrying more than half her castle staff complimented with the full capacity of her Frostborn housing more than a million staff, spanning an enormous length of fifty kilometres the hallmark of this ship was not its vast size but its capabilities, fully armed to the teeth.
Originally intended to be the first ark ship designed purely for reconstruction and recreational purposes, however, after the recent battle forced the winter empress to rethink the true purpose of the ship, possessed four Sactumsempra maxima heavy cannons on the front complemented by Confringo maxima medium autocannons, deadly Diffindo quad rapid-firing turrets covered both the vital and non-vital areas of the ship, any would-be attackers approaching the ship soon found themselves in a powerful mini black hole with no hope of escape, thanks to the breakthrough of Elsa's deep research into ancient magic unlocked new devastating spells, found themselves entirely at her mercy the ship held secrets only Elsa knew to limit the use of these weapons only in the direst circumstances, where absolute force was needed to maintain order hoped it never came to that.
Rising from her diamond throne on the bridge, as the ship came to a complete stop, accompanied by twenty Apocalypse, thirty Dumbledore and a hundred Gorgon class battlecruisers, the Hogwarts Express coming into view exactly on time took Cho by the hand as they apparate, the train now accompanied by twenty tomcats on both sides, and twenty dragon gunships catching the eye of every student onboard feasted their eyes, as they came nearer up close to where they saw the pilots clearly waved at them before Elsa and Cho emerged amid them, a fourth-year Gryffindor took notice at her gap in awe.
"Prime ... Empress... Elsa~~~ Everyone, Prime Empress Elsa is here!"
"And… it~it's incredible! It's Lady Cho Chang! The Hero of England!" said a fifth-year Ravenclaw student. Both of them smiled genuinely exchanging greetings as Elsa stood in front of Cho leading the way, Cho greeted by multiple handshakes hearing her name being called repeatedly bask every minute, as students from their compartments emerged to greet them, hardly holding back this chance to meet them.
Elsa spent the minimum of thirty seconds getting to know each student of every year, the sparkle in their eyes undeniable like a child who has not seen their sister in years felt like a homecoming for her, knowing this generation honour her beyond her expectations filled her heart with gladness, what if however if she were to disappear would this honour be transferred over to the other primes, Elsa and Cho reached their destination, over the last weeks Elsa spent considerable amount of time upgrade the Hogwarts Express replacing outdated equipment to newer, more spacious train cars installed new Cyclops security system in case any attempt of sabotage by potential insurgent death eater, who had the idea of hijacking the train will be met with brute force, as Elsa turned to the crowds of students following behind them.
"I and Lady Cho have private business to attend, we will see you soon at Hogwarts." that stirred the crowd, as Elsa turned and waved the compartment door open, closing in behind her sealing them from the crowd.
"Whoa!" Lady Cho exclaimed in awe, expecting another row of seats like she always did instead, a large rectangular shaped marble table, on all of its sides surrounded by three golden chairs with crimson cushions, on the right lay a fireplace, the walls laced in pure sparkling silver.
"Take a seat, Lady Cho." Elsa said formally. The tone of Elsa's voice set off alarm bells in her mind, nervously taking a seat, bracing herself for what Elsa had to say.
"Do you remember what happened last night?" Cho hesitated, scrambled to get an answer. The memory was fuzzy, yet she dug out portions of it.
"I...err… I was drinking bottles of wine with empress Anna… and wearing your~" Cho gaped, putting the memory became clear to her what she did warranted punishment, but what would the winter empress do or even deal with her achieved so much only to undo her efforts down the drain.
"Are you aware what you did last night demands I strip you of your rank, titles and authority, you can be charged and the charges will be severe?"
Elsa inhaled a deep breath. By every right Cho earned the punishment coming to her in the light of royal protocol. None can say she was wrong in doing so. Her father taught as a monarch she needed to be firm in setting an example for her future leaders to follow, emphasised strongly on this value.
However, the decision far from clear cut spending the most time of her mother, held a different point of view Elsa loved her parents equally lend her ears to them both taught her kindness, compassion and mercy earned the loyalty of her subjects apart from being firm, she learned something from them wisdom knowing when to deliver punishment and when to use wisdom when those values collided, which occasionally happened when she least expected it.
"Elsa, I mean… Prime Empress, I take full responsibility for my actions that night. If it must be done, then I will bear it." Most of her life meeting people for the past weeks, Elsa learnt usually by her father how to read people's mind by merely observing every word they say, easy on the surface but more complex than it looks. Took many years to perfect still amid perfecting it Cho Chang presented her a unique challenge.
The winter empress waved her hand as two bottles from the opposite end of the compartment, waving her other hand as tiny snowflakes formed themselves into two fully shaped sky blue goblets, the icy wind lifted them in Elsa's direction as the lids popped pouring in the wine, traditionally served as a farewell token of their former endeavours her parents usually did, when dismissing highly valued staff the wine poured into their glasses raising it high.
"Lady Cho Chang, you are hereby dismissed from your position, your rank and title, any privileges you had are officially revoked by my sovereign right as Prime Empress, this has been my greatest pleasure working together with you." This was it she knew it, how could she expected anything more from Elsa, perhaps it was vain hope forced herself remaining composed.
"I wished you all the absolute best in your future endeavours." Cho hesitantly toast, drinking a sip of wine, putting it down, rising to her feet before her one last time before making her way to the door.
"Hold it right there… I didn't dismiss you yet, your additional duties and responsibilities of High Lady begins officially now!" Cho thought she was dreaming but the door did not open gaped in awe.
"Wait, a second… what?" At this moment, Grand King Kristoff unveiled himself. Holding in his hands a sparkling spear-like golden crown, imbued with diamonds within them, Cho hardly took her eyes off it dwarf her former crown.
"We had a discussion. This happens to us in a blue moon so we let this crime slip. However, no more wine from this time." Cho Chang did not say a word, tore her eyes from the crown, hugged him warmly. His eyes widened before turning into a grateful smile.
"Lady Cho, we need to discuss a few more things before the event at Hogwarts, here is what you need to know."
Hogwarts in the eyes of many was a prestigious school of learning what every new student ever dream of, for Elsa however a new mystery seems to present itself as the castle had a rich history only a few knew about it, choose to be silent of the findings for good reasons least of all the public knew about it, Elsa having full access to the school's private archives alongside Hermione kept it confidential between them, Harry part of the royal trio took an oath to keep it under wraps on the hidden activities going on in the castle resurfacing it of late, Harry won't be silent for long wanted to find out what was truly behind the mysterious happenings yet Elsa blocked his attempts, deemed it to great a risk instead ordered some areas of the castle sealed off under heavy guard.
The train arrived later than expected, Elsa and Cho Chang departed the train first waiting for the other students they were behind schedule needing to keep up, as the event would not start without them taking about fifteen minutes for everyone to arrive at the station, approached them wand in her hand, for weeks without sleep worked hard in mastering this one particular spell confident after much effort certain it will work as intended.
"Everyone cling onto your belongings and hold each other's hands, we are going to Hogwarts my way!" waved her wand, as everyone apparated straight into their respective house chambers while the teacher's brief on what the event is and what to do when it starts.
Night soon fell as the students gathered inside the great hall, for each house a new set of clothing was given, their usual attire of black robes replaced by their house colours, for Gryffindor their white-collared shirt now crimson collared shirt, their jumper held the same colour as their collared crimson shirt, followed by their pants, shoes and robes, however, kept their typical ties, Ravenclaw similar to their counterparts, except theirs were sky blue followed by Hufflepuff yellow and Slytherin emerald.
The difference this time was the badges they wore, every student wore one badge representing their house on their right collar, while the other showing the Hogwarts badge itself on their left, yet their new clothing far from ordinary, after much work put into the clothes by the winter empress herself this clothes withstood the harshest weather, absorb sweat keeping the wearer cool adapting to the weather and anti-wear and tear, Elsa held back one more surprise she wanted to do for the longest time ever since she graduated from Hogwarts a dream she shared with her sister Anna, once again overslept, taking their seats as the teachers awaited them the candles glow blue flames while the night sky dazzled with the northern lights a spectacular sight none of them will forget.
Palpatine sensed the immense power emitting from Elsa, her powers like a never ending storm living inside her growing in power seeing her as a threat, he needed to be rid of or his plan would never come to fruition if she was removed he can start his plan; the pieces are already in place except for the major inconvenience setting his sights on his goal, the great hall longed rigged with traps set to remove any potential threat to his ascension, about to be sprung just at the right moment.
Prime winter empress Elsa took her place at the owl pulpit as the golden owl spread its wings wide, for a brief few seconds gaze around the great hall felt it was only yesterday she was married to the chosen one, and she was chosen for him, wore her new pale blue dress adorned with snowflakes on both her clothed shoulders, wore a blue belt plastered with a large snowflake in the middle matching her pale blue leggings and boots, while her majestic cape decorated with an enormous white snowflake.
A single thought troubled her before the set-up for the ceremony had begun. Professor Sybill Trelawney gave her a cryptic prediction as she found this one quite disturbing while she stood inside the astronomy tower.
"Your life… your life is… in great danger… the tidal wave of… follow the path... Follow it..." her voice trembling.
"Be warned it wants to devour you whole… follow the path of salvation, never deviate from it." Before Elsa could speak a word, professor Sybill hurried down the spiral stairway in a hurry, leaving Elsa to ponder what it meant. She never took her predictions seriously, dismissing them as wild theories, but shrugged it brought her back to the present.
"Students of Hogwarts! In time, I was here on this hallowed grounds and especially this marvellous great hall. The best years of my life started here! Hogwarts has grown over the years right at this moment this is the day you are going to remember, starting now Hogwarts school of Wizardry will be upgraded beholding a new status no longer as a school but as a Principality! A new state for a greater, newer and bigger capacity for learning and education!"
Both students and professors rose to their feet, filling the hall with thunderous rounds of applause. Yet that was only the first surprise she saved, the second for last the time had arrived for her to spring it.
"Apart from this tonight we celebrate the coronation of the Hero of London, I present to you High Lady Cho Chang! Come forward!" The doors swung wide open as Cho accompanied by four Frostborn guards dressed in their ceremonial blue armour along with their white capes, the first two in front of her and the other two behind her taking great care not to step on her long blood-red cape, her current outfit had been upgraded featuring two crimson crystal shoulder pads, in addition, wore newly made crimson gauntlets crafted by Elsa herself.
Lady Cho Chang kneeled before Elsa as Headmistress Macgonall proudly held her new crown in her hands, for this was the hallmark of her career she will never forget passing towards Elsa as she held it high, remembered a special song she wanted to sing at the right occasion yet nothing could prepare her, for this may be the last time she sang anymore songs, summon her strength sang passionately.
Don't lose your way
With each passing day
You've come so far
Don't throw it away
Live believing
Dreams are for weaving
Wonders are waiting to start
Live your story
Faith, hope and glory
Hold to the truth in your heart
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I
Souls in the wind
Must learn how to mend
Seek out a star
Hold on to the end
Valley, mountain
There is a fountain
Washes our tears all away
Words are swaying
Someone is praying
Please let us come home to stay
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I
When we are out there in the dark
We'll dream about the sun
In the dark, we'll feel the light
Warm our hearts, everyone
If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
As high as souls can fly
The clouds roll by
For you and I
The crown rested comfortably on her head, rose to her feet giving Elsa a grateful smile, alongside the upcoming responsibilities to be undertaken soon she looked forward to taking them up gladly, not knowing what the future may hold confident with Elsa guiding her what could stand in her way.
"Lady Cho Chang, it gives me great pleasure to bestow upon you the rank of High Lady Cho! May you continue to serve with passion and conviction as you have been before for the future is~"
Elsa felt something suddenly pulling behind her before she could react, the trap had sprung as the giant hole black revealed itself pulling her in, her feet lifted off the ground the students panicked leaving the great hall in sheer panic, the doors burst open as King Kristoff alongside the Frostborn rushed in taking every student they can take with them as more arrived apparated them to safety, Elsa grab hold of the headmistress chair her powers draining fast her resistance against its gravity growing stronger, Kristoff push his way through the students as teachers scrambled to get them under control yet unknown to them the Dark Side of the force blinded them, fear of being sucked in overcame them, came to the conclusion he had one option left, taking out his ward pointing at the spiralling black hole at this point became a mini sun.
"You are not taking my sister-in-law! This ends now! AVADA KEDAVRA!" Powerful tendrils of green lightning emerged at the tip of his wand, intended for the black hole, watched in grave horror as it instead struck Elsa, releasing her grip consumed into the black hole, dissipated into thin air.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!"
His fist nearly broke the rectangular table in half despite his bleeding hands, nothing compared to the overwhelming guilt of having killed the prime empress, the northern lights above faded into black before turning into snow falling harmlessly onto the floor, Headmistress Mcgonagall, professor Filius Flitwick, Sybill Trelawney and three other professors starred in grief and disbelief their faces full of sorrow, all save one, Palpatine inwardly rejoiced knowing his plan succeeded turned out better than he expected the death of the winter empress presented an opportunity, one he won't hesitate to take advantage headmistress McGonagall the first on his list of targets, nothing stood in his way paving the way for everything he planned to be put into action.
However, what intended to be her death unintentionally became the reverse as the black hole absorbed the brunt of the killing curse the energies within the hole rapidly becoming unstable, going around in circles in endless rotation making her nauseous tried prevented herself from blacking out, found it more difficult than she expected, the shifting energies also affected her powers could not hold back any longer lost consciousness, after thirty minutes spew Elsa onto a rocky ledge the dusty wind blowing against her as she awoke slowly rising on her feet the dim sun greeting her, stared down at the vast valley below bewilderment came over her certain she thought she saw dinosaurs, her vision cleared hardly believe her eyes there they were in a herd.
"Incredible… they exist! Ugh, why does the air smell like this land is dying?" Her eyes shifted as the ground trembled in the distance a dormant volcano blew its top. A jetstream of lava emerged like an angry bull filling the air with smoke. Yet that was the least of her concern as the ground shook once more.
"What is making that sound?" Little did Elsa realised what monstrosity approaching her was known by the most viciously cunning and savage predator to ever walk over these lands, its triangular sharp teeth more than enough to tear apart any flesh, its determination matched only by its instinct to survive in this dying land driven purely by hunger this raging juggernaut will not stop till its stomach filled with the flesh of its victim, Elsa turned her eyes widen the tyrannosaurus rex open wide unleashed his deafening roar any ordinary person would not hesitate to run, Elsa stood her ground glare at the intimidating dinosaur.
"If you think I'm easy prey, think again soon you'll be nothing but. A. Icy. Popsicle!" that enraged the T-Rex charged at her.
"So be it." Elsa moved over to the right narrowly avoiding him, blasted him with two icy beams at his stomach, enraged him and attempted to his massive tail Elsa leap into the air, channelling her power fired multiple ice shards, one of them struck his left eye screamed in pain.
"Now you are going to learn firsthand why I'm called the winter Empress." Elsa savoured this moment imagining herself plucking the tooth of the T-Rex, prepared to finish him, just a single curse or spell thought better of it about to speak the spell into existence suddenly felt a sharp pain in her right hand.
"Arrrggghhhh! My power… what's happening to me… how?" to her horror the T-Rex recovered this time not holding back came straight for her the seismic shifting below ground created a large crack beneath, them as the rocky ledge collapsed beneath sending Elsa down to the valley, hearing it roar in anger above her the least of her concerns at the moment sliding down fast seeing the ground fast approaching her, could not risk using her powers again spotted a nearby river jumped swimming upwards her braid coming undone, typically her ice gel bound her hair together let it loose survey the surrounding land, the barks on the tall imposing trees already decay the leaves themselves were far from healthy observe the falling leaves flowing freely in the air, her observation interrupted by a herd of three fully grown adult dinosaurs, standing at the enormous height of twenty feet, and the wide length of twenty-seven point four meters.
"A...A herd of apatosaurus, the second-largest dinosaurs, to roam the earth. This is such an incredible wish you were here Harry, Anna, these titans are a spectacular sight to behold!" boldly taking steps towards the herd at a safe distance, hid behind a large tree watching carefully for their thirty feet massive tail, a single swing could spell disaster for her.
"A young apatosaurus, he's adorable, but which one of them is their mother?" Moving slightly closer cautiously, taking baby steps towards them intended to hide the nearby tree, accidentally step on the dead branches reacting too slow as the colossal long necks turn their gaze at her, banded together creating a barricade behind the young apatosaurus.
"I mean you no harm.." raising her hands in the air backing away slowly trying her best not to provoke them, one of the long necks lower her neck inspecting Elsa thoroughly with great curiosity also skeptical wondered what kind of creature was she after a full minute turning to the two opposite long necks beside her, what happened afterwards would stay in her mind for the rest of her life for the longest time barely believe in dinosaurs, despite her father telling her tales of these magnificent beasts but nothing could compare what her ears will hear right now.
"Are you alone here in this dying land?" said the elderly dinosaur, Elsa eyes widened in disbelief was she hearing this right, or was this a trick an imagination of hers of manifesting in ways she dreamt it to be, the land, the T-Rex even this talking dinosaurs, one thought surpassed every one of them where in the world was she.
"Yes… I'm stranded here~" Try as she might, she couldn't help but smile warmly at her, taking Elsa at her word.
"Hey!" said the little Apatosaurus coming from under his grandfather's elephant-like legs, approaching her the two elderly too slow to stop him, his neck taking a brief look at her.
"Can she tag along?" Littlefoot suddenly asked, surprising his family.
"Asking this creature to tag along?" Grandmother Longneck questioned in surprise.
"Can we trust her?" Grandfather Longneck too questioned.
"You have my word I will harm none of you." Elsa said boldly, intending to back her every word.
"She said it herself. She can be my new friend!" Littlefoot's mother gazed once more at Elsa, pondering on what to decide before turning to her son.
"If she is coming with us, we need to know her name." Elsa fix her eyes at Littlefoot's mother, a war raging in her mind of the possibility of being stranded here for good her limited powers won't do her much good in the long run, for the first time without her wand to help her produce a single spell or her hands relied on Littlefoot's family out in the dangerous wilderness.
"I am empress Elsa." said Elsa genuinely.
"What is an empress?" Littlefoot asked curiously.
"A leader, in my world people like me lead me to do good things for others." Before, her stomach suddenly rumbled.
"I suppose she is… hungry, isn't she?" said his grandfather sceptically.
"Elsa can eat green food, just like us," replied Littlefoot. She is part of us and she's my new friend.
"Littlefoot, let us see if she can eat our type of green food." His grandmother insisted.
"Well, she can at least try." Littlefoot responded, picking up a small pile of leaves in his mouth placing it before Elsa.
"Here" pointing towards Elsa, "These leaves are tasty, try some!" Hesitantly Elsa took some leaves, biting them down, trusting Littlefoot's word, to Elsa's surprise the taste was quite satisfactory, as she took more bites, Littlefoot watching closely, hoping rising in his heart maybe the food wasn't that bad.
Alas, however, Elsa's stomach didn't agree, forcing the food back up till her mouth spat the food out with enough force, sending her reeling on her knees, vomiting everything out.
Both Littlefoot's mother and grandparents shook their heads. Apparently, this is going to be much harder than they thought it would be. They remained undeterred as mother's longneck reached down by her neck, gently picked Littlefoot by his tail, followed by Elsa by her collar, placing her on her back.
"Don't worry, Littlefoot, we'll find something for Elsa to eat." Mother Longneck said assuredly, shifting her gaze at Elsa.
"As for you my Elsa, we'll take care of you." She then gave Elsa a slightly affectionate nudge against her left cheek, treating her like her own daughter, the feeling strikingly familiar like her own mother did the same when she was a child, returning it by giving Littlefoot's mother a hug.
Her strength drained from the vomit as her eyelids closed. She had one question before she fell asleep.
"Where are we heading?" she said sleepily.
"To the great valley, a place where we'll be safe from sharptooth and maybe find your way home." No response came as Elsa fell sound asleep. The thought of reaching home foremost in her mind, enjoying every moment as she journeyed with them to the mysterious great valley.
Littlefoot's mother and grandparents journey across the land, taking with them in their eyes two children not entertaining the thought of leaving Elsa, determined to stick with her through thick and thin, and whether they meant to Elsa had now become part of their family.
