Unova Part 15

While Ash does some preparatory battle training on his way to the Driftveil City Gym, they run into a feisty and bossy Gothita, who is immediately smitten with Ash's Scraggy. To keep Gothita happy, its Trainer Katharine asks Ash to trade Scraggy to her, but Ash refuses. Katharine then challenges Ash to a high-stakes battle: if he loses, he has to make the trade! After she taunts him for a while, Ash finally agrees.

Ash sends his Tepig up against Katharine and her Mandibuzz. After a few close calls, Tepig manages to take Mandibuzz down, so Ash wins—but Gothita is not pleased, and makes this very clear to Katharine. Gothita's tantrum is interrupted by a sudden rainstorm, and Katharine suggests that everyone take shelter in a nearby mountain cabin.

In the middle of the night, Gothita convinces Scraggy to sneak away. But while the two of them are having fun playing, they disturb a sleeping Garbodor, who wakes up mad! Our heroes and Katharine arrive just in time in their search for the runaway Pokémon—her Deerling's Aromatherapy calms Garbodor, and Ash uses the chance to capture the Garbodor.

Unova Dex Entry No.75 Trubbish: The Trash Bag Pokemon: Poison Type. Wanting more garbage, they follow people who litter. They always belch poison gas.

Unova Dex Entry No.76 Garbodor: The Trash Heap Pokemon: Poison Type. Evolved from Trubbish at LV:36. Consuming garbage makes new kinds of poison gases and liquids inside their bodies.

But Gothita is still mad at Ash for beating Katharine earlier, and it challenges Snivy to a battle…which Snivy wins easily, infuriating Gothita all the more. It storms off in a huff, Katharine quickly bids our heroes farewell to run after it.

And after a while, they find a Deino with the two others stealing their food, as they manage to get it back, they find out that the three Deino are staying at the Pokemon Day Care run by a man named Bobby, who confesses that he's been having some trouble with the trio because he has no experience taking care of Dragon types. Iris jumps at the chance to help out. As they help out, two of the Deino are happy and playful, but the Deino that Lillie is looking after appears frightened and lonely—and it's refusing to eat, which is very strange for a Deino. It turns out that the Deino is a recent hatchling, so Lillie stays with it night and day.

The other two Trainers show up on schedule to take the Deino back, but for the Deino that Lillie took care of, she asks Bobby to take care of this one, and Bobby doesn't mind since it doesn't have a trainer.

Unova Dex Entry No.140 Deino: The Irate Pokemon: Dark and Dragon Type. Lacking sight, it's unaware of its surroundings, so it bumps into things and eats anything that moves.

"Well, I am hungry already." Golly says to Ash, and Ash smiles and says, "Just wait for a moment, Golly, we are about to arrive at the Pokemon Center."

"Your sister sure is such a kid." Iris says, and Ash says, "We are all kids, so what's the matter with that?"

Just then, they see a man and a Braviary run out of the forest in front of them and collapse from their injuries. Ash and the others recognize him and Ash says, "N!"

Ash and Lillie rush to the man and Ash asks, "N, are you okay?"

N slowly wakes up and says, "Ash...Braviary's wing is injured."

Ash notices the wounds and they have Sawsbuck take the Braviary to the Pokemon Center.

Nurse Joy tends to Braviary's injuries and mentions that Braviary will be temporarily unable to fly until they are healed. N thanks her for help and comforts Braviary.

"N, what happened to Braviary?" Ash asks, and N says, "Braviary got captured by Team Plasma and Hunter E."

"Hunter E? Team Plasma?" Lillie says as they widen their eyes in horror.

"Team Plasma is the group that we met back in Floccesy Ranch, right?" Iris asks, and N nods, "My family and I have been trying to liberate all the Pokemon under Team Plasma's control, I mean the evil one, not the good one."

Ash says, "N is Nate and Rosa's brother. I think this is the first time you've met." He turns to N, "And we will try to help you as well."

As they talk for a while, the Pokemon Center's power is cut, and during the blackout, Ash notices the tracking device. "Oh no..."

"What is causing the power outage?" Iris asks, and Cilan says, "The outside lights are still on, so the issue is specific to the center."

N and Ash come with Braviary, and N says, "The outage is caused by Team Plasma, they have come."

Nurse Joy and Audino decide to go check the circuit breakers. At the same time, Hunter E, along with two Team Plasma grunts, named Schwarz and Weiss enters the room where the Pokémon are resting and uses night-vision goggles to find Braviary.

"Looks like we're too late." E mutters as she sees that the tracking device is moving.

They go outside and see N and what appears to see Braviary. They send out Metagross, Zangoose, and Seviper and attack N with Slash and Bite. It is revealed that Braviary wasn't there and that they have been fooled.

"Where is Braviary?" E asks, but N runs away, forcing them to order their Pokémon to chase after him. As for E, she just jumps on Metagross to find where the Braviary is.

Meanwhile, Ash, Lillie, Golly, Iris, and Cilan are taking Braviary in the opposite direction. As they have planned to have N as the lure while they run away.

N is still running away from Zangoose and Seviper but they find him and the two grunts catch up. Schwarz orders Seviper to use Screech, and Weiss orders Slash on N.

"I will never give up on my mission to save Pokemon." N proclaims, and the two grunts order another round of attacks. However, Braviary gets here just in time to save N, along with Ash, Lillie, Golly, Iris, and Cilan.

"So it is you two again." E says as she sees Ash and Lillie. "Maybe I should have a payback for what you have done to me in Sinnoh."

"As if you can do that. We sent your sister back, and we can send you as well." Ash says as they have an aerial fight, with Mandibuzz against Metagross. As for the others, they are battling against the other grunts, after a while, the four of them manage to defeat Zangoose and Seviper, and for Ash, his Mandibuzz manage to knock out Metagross after another Bone Rush and Snarl.

"This isn't over." Hunter E says as she orders Team Plasma to retreat, after they are out of sight, Iris says, "That Hunter E really looks like your cousin, Lillie."

"I know, they are from the Dark Dimension, and we intend to bring them back to where they belong." Lillie says.

After that, Braviary decides to join Ash's team per N's request, as he won't need to worry about Team Plasma again, Ash nods as he captures the Pokemon.

Unova Dex Entry No.134 Rufflet: The Eaglet Pokemon: Normal and Flying Type. It stands up to massive opponents, not out of courage, but out of recklessness. But that is how it gets stronger.

Unova Dex Entry No.135 Braviary: The Valiant Pokemon: Normal and Flying Type. Evolved from Rufflet at LV:54. For the sake of its friends, this brave warrior of the sky will not stop battling, even if injured.

Upon seeing N's injuries, the group takes him back to the Pokémon Center so Nurse Joy can treat him. N says, "I will be going to Driftveil City, what about you guys?"

"We are going there as well." Ash says. "How about we tag along?"

N sighs, "Even all of that happened, I am still against Pokemon Battles. But after seeing you guys battle, it makes me experience feelings that I have never felt before."

Ash and Lillie welcome N to travel with them for a while, as they are heading to Driftveil City.

Before they go to the city, they arrive at the Kanto Fair, and N asks, "Ash, I want to know if you're feeling better after that?"

Ash knows what N meant and he says, "To be honest, I am still sad, but I am sure that she doesn't want me to be sad as well."

Lillie is also concerned, as they are talking about what happened to Aurora.

They keep looking around, and when they see a show with Charmander on stage. Ash says, "Wow, looking at Charmander reminds me of my own Charizard."

"Huh, you own one, too?" Iris asks.

"But you say your first Pokemon is Pikachu." Cilan says.

"Yes. Charmander had been abandoned by its Trainer, who had left it on a rock, promising to return later, even though he had no intention of doing so. I saved Charmander from a downpour and a flock of wild Spearow, its tail flame barely burning. We then waited as Charmander recovered, but it left to return to the rock and wait as soon as it could. A while later, Charmander proved its strength by saving Pikachu and Sylveon from the hands of Team Rocket, prompting its Trainer to return and want it back. Witnessing how selfish its Trainer was, Charmander refused to rejoin him. Instead, it agreed to go with me and let itself be caught"

N says, "So what happened to that trainer?"

"He is arrested after I defeat him in the finals of the Kanto League only using Charizard." Ash says.

"I am glad that Charizard has found a trainer like you." Iris says.

"But why isn't he at your team?" Cilan asks.

"Because Charizard wants to be stronger. Lillie, Reisa, and I have traveled through Johto, we come across Charicific Valley. Charizard wants to be strong and be with his girlfriend, so I left him there for training." Ash says.

"Actually, Ash forgot to mention that we have two Charizard, one being male and the other being female. And we have another one that is already in Charicific Valley."

"So you have two Charizard?" Iris asks.

"Well, we have let her train there since she was a Charmander. But we often went there and played with her until we started my journey." Ash says.

Lillie says, "I have an idea, how about we take them back to our team? It will be nice to see them again."

The two go to call Liza, she says that she has taught Charizard and Charla everything and says that it is time for them to travel with them.

The 6 of them go to the battlefield, Ash and Lillie toss out Charizards. Who give roars through the sky.

"Charizard, nice to see you again." Ash says.

"You too, Charla." Lillie says.

The two Charizard greet them, and Ash introduces them to Golly, Iris, Cilan, and N. Then, much to others' shock, they shoot Flamethrower on them.

"I guess it is a spicy taste to say hello." Cilan says.

"Indeed, I can see their bonds have reached a higher level." N says.

Ash and Lillie then toss out their Pokemon, and some of them greet them.

"Oh, Charizard, Charla, these are the Pokemon I caught here in Unova and Infernape, Lucario, Glaceon are from Sinnoh." Lillie says.

Charizard looks interested in Infernape, as they fist bump each other. Tepig, Simisear, Darmanitan, and Chandelure also come to him, seeing that he is a powerful Fire Type.

"Ash, Lillie, I have noticed that they also have two mega stones each." N says.

"Yes. Mega evolution needs a great bond to activate it. We haven't failed for once, which means our bond is high and stable." Ash says.

Then Iris and Cilan take out their Pokemon and greet them, Charizard and Charla greet them back and even have a small race.

"So Charizard, Charla. Do you want to come with us for the rest of the journey?" Ash asks, which they nod.

"Thank you. First, our goal is Unova League. And Iris here is the Champion. So if we want to conquer the league, we must defeat her."

Charizard nods and roars. Iris says, "Even though you have a strong Pokemon, I won't lose my title easily for you."

"I agree. The taste of the rivalry has been increased." Cilan says.

They have arrived at Driftveil City, Ash and his friends see that Team Plasma with 2 different uniforms is fighting each other.

"Why don't you just surrender and join us?" The black uniform Team Plasma says.

"We aren't you guys. We only liberate Pokemon from bad people like you. We are not going to join in the likes of you!" The White uniform Team Plasma says.

Just then, N rushes towards them and says, "Stop the fight now."

The former Team Plasma grunts see N and say, "N! you have returned!"

"So you have come… this time we will hand you over to Lord Ghetsis." The Team Plasma member says.

"I am not your Ghetsis' son! And I will protect my friends." He says.

Ash says, "N, catch this!" He throws the Pokeball at him, N feels that it is Reshiram, so he throws the Pokeball and appears his friend.

"Reshiram…." The Plasma members exclaim.

"My friend, will you battle with me again?" N asks.

Reshiram nods and blasts the Team's Pokemon with Fusion Flare and Blue Flare. Ash also sends out Zekrom, who uses Bolt Strike and Fusion Bolt to defeat the rest.

"Retreat!" One member yells as the members all getaway.

Ash and N recall Zekrom and Reshiram. N takes the ball back to Ash, he turns to the good Team Plasma grunts, and asks, "Are you okay?"

"We are fine, thanks to you." Team Plasma nods as they also greet Ash and Lillie. Then they take them to their hideout in Driftveil City, and they are surprised to see the Seven Sages, along with Anetha and Concordia.

"Father." N greets his father, and Ghetsis from the real world also hugs his son. Then he turns to Ash and Lillie, "It is great to see you again. Ash, Lillie."

"It is nice to see you as well, Uncle Ghetsis." Ash says. "And for the other six sages as well."

As the others are confused, Ash introduces them to Iris, Cilan, and even Golly. Ghetsis also greets Golly as he has heard that Aurora adopted another daughter, but as they mention the name, they are frowning as they know what happened to her.

"So do you know what this evil Team Plasma is planning?" Ash asks them, and Anetha says, "We didn't know much, but we know that they are finding the third Dragon."

Concordia says, "We also heard that there is also one of the members of the Seven Sage has an evil version helping the evil uncle Ghetsis with the ambitions."

"I see..." Lillie says. Rood says, "It is a good thing that this Team Plasma is very secretive, or else it would give us a bad name of Team Plasma."

"I know. And I have promised Dr. Colress that I would stop them like how I did to Team Galactic." Ash says, and Ghetsis says, "I have heard of this, right now we are counting on you guys."

The others nod as N decides to leave the group as they stay here to help his father, then they bid farewell as they head towards the Pokemon Center.

Here is a new chapter, Charizard is back to the story, yay. And as I said before, Team Plasma has an evil version, which means that the Seven Sages are not evil in this fanfic. I hope you understand and we are going back to Team Rocket in the next chapter.
