Petunia smiled when she heard a knock at the back door. She knew that only Minerva would come to back door because the privacy fence allowed her to appear at the house without anyone seeing her just appear out of thin air unnoticed. She opened the door and hugged the stern witch.

"Minnie, it's been far too long. How have you been?" asked Petunia as she closed the door behind the elderly witch. "I have somr made tea. We are just waiting for the Grangers to arrive."

"Auntie Minnie!" squealed Harry and Dudley as they entered the kitchen and wrapped their arms around the woman happily.

Minerva laughed at the boys and hugged them back. "Now, I heard you have been suspended from school for the week. Please tell me what happened?" She asked sitting down at the table and Petunia fixed several cups of tea.

Harry and Dudley explained what happened at the school on Monday. Minerva listened careful and asked a few questions about the outburst of magic. She picked up her tea and sat back in thought.

"So, you believe that Hermione might be a witch?" asked Minerva just as there was a knock on the front door.

"Yes ma'am." Harry said as Dudley left the answer the door and returned with John, Jane and Hermione in tow.

"Thank you for coming Jane." Petunia. "Please have a seat and things will be explained to you. Please as I ask of you to keep an open mind."

"How much of an open mind?" asked John.

"Mr. and Mrs. Granger. I am Professor Minerva McGonagall. I am the deputy headmistress of a special school that helps young people like Harry and Hermione control what happed on Monday."

"Ok. We're listening Professor." said Jane as she took her tea from Petunia.

"Now, I know you are formular with stories of witches and wizards and fairy stories." Minerva said to the Granger, and they nodded. "Well, that's what people wanted you to believe. But they are in fact truth into those stories. There are such things a witches and wizards. I'm a witch and so is Hermione and Harry is a wizard."

John tried to keep a straight face but busted out laughing at the thought. "Madame, I believe you need to see a doctor. I'm sorry to bust your bubble but witches and wizards are only in stories."

Minerva smiled gently at the family and pulled out her wand. "If I may show you. Watch carefully." She tapped her wand and turned her cup into a mouse. "Here Hermione see for yourself dear." She said holding out the mouse to the girl.

Hermione's mouth fell opened and took the mouse from the woman. She studied it carefully and mouse squeaked at her and tried to run away. Minerva quickly turned the mouse back into a cup. Minerva waved her wand made the plate of cookies float from the counter to the middle of the table. She put away her wand.

"I understand this is a shock to you all." Minerva said and sat back and waited for the shock to pass over the Grangers.

'Great I'm a freak. Exactually what I need to be different.' Hermione thought to herself.

"Mione, I know this is shock to you. I know you have done things you can't understand. But I have known for a long time I am different but it's ok. You're not a freak or unnormal." Harry said taking her hand.

Hermione's head snapped in her friend's direction. "Ah, Harry I didn't say anything like that. I was thinking it."

Harry's mouth formed an "O" shape and smiled at her and took his hand into his own. "We must share a special connection then. I mean when we touched, we made Charlie Whine go across the yard."

"Harry the Whines family go to your school?" asked Minerva.

"Yes, they do. Why do you know them Aunt Minnie?" asked Dudley.

"Oh, that little prick." Minerva hissed. "He's family have been going to Dumstrang for centuries. Gordan and family served You-Know-Who in the last war." She laughed out right. "They've been hiding as muggles all this time to stay out of Azkaban."

Harry's eyes narrowed at the mention of Voldemort. "So, they served Voldemort!" snapped Harry and magic crackled around him. "No wonder your book was put together Mione. Charlie used magic to repair the book before handing it the headmaster."

Hermione's eyes widen at the thought and huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "No, wonder he didn't get into trouble."

Minerva picked up her tea and stook a sip of it. "Petunia may I suggest something?"

"Of course, anything to help the kids. I am all ears."

She looked at everyone around the table. "This is for Hermione as well." John and Jane nodded their heads. "Since the children have trouble controlling their magic may I suggest a tutor for them instead. The teacher can come and teach them Monday through Friday. Then that way Charles can be hidden in the classroom if something should cause an outlash. This will be the easiest way to control the environment around them."

Jane and John whispered to each other discussing the pros and cons of a private teacher and nodded in agreement. They turned to Petunia who nodded her head in agreement.

"Yes. That would best for the children." said all the parents.

"Dudley, may I check you over dear?" asked Minerva.

"What for Aunt Minnie?" asked the husky boy as he rose from his seat.

"I just want to check for any form of magical signature. It is possible that your core is dormmate for now."

Dudley nodded his head and Minerva ran her wand over the boy from head to toe and a piece of parchment appeared at the end of her wand. She grabbed the scroll and unrolled it just Dudley sat back down at the table.

Petunia took Dudley's hand and prayed that he was a wizard because she didn't won't Dudley to go through what she went through growing up with Lily. She wanted both of her boys to be happy.

Minerva put on her reading glasses and read the scroll. She looked up at Petunia and smiled. "It's seems Dudley has great control over his magic. He is calm and very level headed which is why he has not had bursts of accidental magic. He is a wizard Pet. I am so glad I did the scan. We might have missed it and then he would have missed his years at Hogwarts."

Dudley jumped up and down in excitement then all of a sudden, the window shattered with outlash of magic. Dudley's face grew red with embarrassment. Minerva quickly repaired the window and she laughed happily.

"Now, I will contact the tutor office that is in junction with the wizarding world and have a teacher set up for all three kids. Don't you worry about a thing. I know who to contact." Minerva told them.

"Aunt Minnie please stay for dinner and you as well Mr. and Mrs. Granger." said Harry happily.

Petunia smiled. "A wonderful idea Harry! Charles!"

Charles appeared in the kitchen starling the Granger family. "What can Charles do for you Mistress Pet?" said the elf and his eyes grew wider at Hermione. "Oh, Master Harry has met his soul-mate I will have all the babies to care of when time bes right!"

"Hold Merlin's beard there Charles." Petunia said. "What do you mean by soul-mates?"

"Oh, sorry Mistress Pet. Charles sometimes forgets you not use to magics. It's old magics. You see it runs in the Potter family and they mets their soul-mates at a young age. Just like Mistress Lily and Master James did at school, and that's why that bully was thrown across the yard they touched and it enhanced their magic."

"Ok. Thank you, Charles. You may fix anything you wish for dinner and please make sure you fix Vernon's favorite white chocolate pudding. He will need it after the learns what has happened today."

"Yes, yes right away Mistress Pet." Charles said and started on a nice dinner for his family and guests.

The Grangers sat back in shock of it, it was too much to take in at once. Jane took several deep breathes and pulled her daughter into loving hug. She was grateful to find out that nothing was wrong with her only child. John ran his fingers through Hermione's curly frizzy hair. Their world had been turned on its head. They knew it would take a while to get use to the new life but they would be there for their daughter.

Harry stared at Hermione in awe. He had soul mate that would spend the rest of his life with. He shook his head. He was only eight years old. He smiled at thought of being with someone like Hermione Jane Granger would be amazing.

Vernon tiredly entered the house and he smiled at John who handed the man a beer. Vernon kissed his wife and hugged the boys. He shook Jane's hand and warmly greeted Minerva. Petunia explained to Vernon about having private teacher for children and he agreed that would the best form of action to make sure they learned instead of being punished. He would call the school and tell them that Harry and Dudley would be privately taught.

"Dad, I have great news!" Dudley said happily.

"What is that son?" asked Vernon.

"I'm a wizard! I kind of broke the window after Aunt Minnie ran a test. She said had great control over it that's why there hasn't been any accidental magic until today."

"I am glad all three of you will be going to Hogwarts together. You all have the makings of a great friendship. I only wished I had at your age. I am very proud of both you boys."

Dudley smiled, "Thanks Dad." He said and hugged his dad happily. "I can go to Hogwarts with you Harry! It's going to be so much fun."

Charles walked into the living room and told the family dinner was ready and that he enlarged the table. The group moved to the kitchen and saw a large feast. Charles smiled and bowed and popped to his room that he had understairs.

Family and friends enjoyed a nice cooked meal and Minerva told the Grangers more about Hogwarts. Jane and John asked different questions about the classes and the teachers. Minerva was more then happy to explain it to them.

The night slowly ended and the Granger said goodbyes to Dursleys, Harry and Minerva. It had been an evening of learning for everyone that sat around the table. Minerva knew that kids would benefit from it all once they were older.
