Pyro Strikes Back!
Ash had accepted Lana's offer to go to the Water trial site on Akala island to get in some much needed training for his rematch against Misty. The others stayed behind, even Lillie despite her wanting to go with as Leaf wanted to speak to her without Ash overhearing.
"I think we should let Serena in now, he's back to his old self and we don't have to worry about him potentially hurting her feelings due to being in a moody state!" Leaf exclaimed.
Lillie gazed towards Serena who was currently prying Grookey off Sophocles' head as the monkey had began whacking the poor boy with his stick! Serena certainly did seem to care a great deal about Ash, hell she had feelings for him since they were in summer camp whenever that was despite Ash being miles and miles away from her! Quite an impressive feat.
"Okay," Lillie agreed after a bit of thinking, giving Leaf a light nod. "We should tell her when he gets back."
Combusken watched as Raboot, Zigzagoon, Sobble and Poipole all played with one another while Lucario watched from a distance as he stood close to their trainer in his usual vigilant state. Combusken watched Raboot performing both Fire, Fighting and Electric attacks and lowered his head. When he first joined Raboot hardly ever battled so he hadn't really noticed how similar their battling styles were and on top of all that Scorbunny knew an Electric attack! Was there even a place for him on the team anymore? Their trainer never picked favorites and tried to ensure they all got some spotlight but Combusken still couldn't help but feel like his usefulness had run out.
"So I just have to sit here and wait for something to bite?" Ash asked as he gave Lana a suspicious look, wondering if she was simply trolling him like she did with Flash when he asked how to evolve Pikachu in Alola.
"Yep!" Lana answered with a nod before forming a light smile. "I'm being completely serious, I wouldn't joke about that sort of thing right now! I know you're trying to get back into the swing of things and I wanna help any way that I can!" She lightly blushed as she gazed at him with a rather fond expression.
Ash didn't really notice as the thought of just sitting there waiting for something to bite his fishing line just sounded so boring!
Ash let out a frustrated sigh before trying to cast his line and struggling to do so as he'd yet to fish. His mother wasn't very much into Pokemon and his father was hardly ever around to do stuff with. Lana noticed and couldn't help but giggle as she approached.
"First time?" She playfully teased before helping him. "There, that's how you do it!" She said as the lure sank deep into the water.
"Now try and remain still as much as possible, if you shake the line too much you'll scare away potential bites!" Lana placed her hands atop of his, both trainers blushing for a brief second as Lana directed his hands to the reel of the line. "And once you've got a bite, pull that sucker in fast and don't hold back! The Totem will put up a struggle and you could potentially get pulled in."
Unfortunately for Ash it appeared that nothing was biting and he started looking bored and impatient before letting out a frustrated growl. "Will it just come up already?!"
"Patience." Lana placed her hand on his shoulder. "Patience is something that every good trainer has, it's not just something that you use when fishing you can also utilize it in battle to get a view of your opponents weak points!"
Ash realized that she did have a point but that didn't mean he had to like it, it was just so boring out there staring at the water!
"If you want, we can talk." Lana offered. "I mean if you want to, it'd pass some time!"
"Sure!" Ash was quick to answer with a sigh of relief as the two began talking. It appeared that Lana wasn't too different from Misty goal wise, she was a Water specialist as well she just didn't have the ambition Misty had. Simply wanting to raise Pokemon and form a big bubble with Popplio so that they could walk the ocean surface.
"It must be nice getting to see the entire world!" Lana gushed out.
"Actually I haven't been to Johto and Hoenn yet." Ash pointed out. "But hopefully that'll change soon."
"But still it's nice, I wish that I could-oh hey I think you've got a bite!" Lana pointed at his line as it began moving, Ash quickly began attempting to reel it in only for him to start finding himself getting pulled into the water. Lana was quick to grab him, helping him stay ashore by adding her weight to his while Popplio grabbed at her leg and joined in! Soon a large fish Pokemon came splashing out of the water, looking to be a formation of a school of smaller fish from the look of things!
"What's that Pokemon?" Ash asked as he pulled out his Rotom Phone.
"Wishiwashi School Form, Wishiwashi assemble in this formation to face off against strong foes. It boasts a strength that earned it the name 'demon of the sea'!"
It appeared a lot bigger than the picture and a bright orange aura surrounded the Pokemon as it levitated above the lake.
"Wishi!"
Ash examined the Totem for a brief moment before reaching for the ball containing Grovyle and giving it a good throw!
"Grovyle, I choose you!"
"Grovyle!" Grovyle burst out and got into a combat stance.
"Leer then use Bullet Seed!" Grovyle gave Wishiwashi a Leer before firing a barrage of seeds at the Pokemon as he were a machine gun! Several Wishiwashi were blasted from the school form and began quickly swimming away. Wishiwashi then dove beneath the water as it utilized Dive, Ash looked around frantically as the Pokemon could honestly come up from anywhere! The Wishiwashi soon came bursting out and smacking Grovyle with his body, knocking Grovyle away but thankfully there didn't appear to be any serious damage done.
"Alright Grovyle, fire off another Leer and use Thunder Punch!"
"Gro!" Grovyle smirked as he gave Wishiwashi another leer before racing across the top of the water and delivering an electrical punch to the middle of the fish's body! The school form cried out before only one Wishiwashi remained, obviously the Totem as it was far larger than the rest. The Pokemon let out a cry rather than attack and a pink heart-shaped fish Pokemon came to it's aid, firing off a pink aura as Wishiwashi's health began to restore and the school quickly gathered back up to form the School Form Wishiwashi once more!
"Alomomola the Caring Pokemon, fishermen take them along on long voyages because if you have an Alomomola with you, there'll be no need for a doctor or medicine!"
Ash's Rotom Phone read out upon him scanning the creature.
"You can send out a partner to help when an ally is summoned." Lana piped up. "You know, if you want. It's not required."
Ash rubbed his chin for a moment before sending out Sandshrew. "Sandshrew I choose you!"
"Shrew!" The ice mouse revealed itself as he appeared eager to please his new trainer, not appearing to mind the change in ownership at all as Zach had likely warned it in advance.
"Stand by Sandshrew, I'll need you in a minute. Grovyle use Thunder Punch on Alomomola!" Grovyle's fist sparked as he raced across the water before slamming his fist against the heart shaped Pokemon, Alomomola let out a cry as her body was shocked by the electricity before quickly retreating beneath the water surface.
"Ice Beam the water top!"
"Shrew!" Sandshrew fired off a beam of ice, quickly freezing the water and making it impossible for Wishiwashi to get further aid. Ash wasn't being cruel, he knew the ice would melt quickly due to the hot Alolan sun, Ash may not be bright when it came to non-battling stuff but he wasn't a complete idiot! It'd give him just enough time to finish off Wishiwashi and win his trial without another Alomomola appearing and healing it!
"Leer once more then deliver a final Thunder Punch!" Grovyle gave Wishiwashi a leer before racing across the water and delivering one final electrical punch! The Wishiwashi school broke apart while the Totem Wishiwashi remained above the ice, looking weakened and about to be taken out.
"Sandshrew use Rapid Spin!" Sandshrew began spinning his body before spinning himself onto the ice, moving quite quickly before ramming up against the Totem Pokemon! Wishiwashi let out a cry as it fell to it's side while swirls formed within his eyes.
"Wishiwash..."
"Alright, we did it!"
"Grovyle!"
"Shrew!"
Lana smiled lightly and gazed at him with admiration before her attention turned to the Wishiwashi as it began to stir, the ice cracked beneath it and the Totem disappeared back beneath the surface before eventually resurfacing and dropping a blue z-crystal into Ash's palm.
"That's Waterium Z! With it you'll be able to use Hydro Vortex!" Lana explained before quickly showing off the pose with Ash copying her movements.
"That's it, you're doing perfect!" Lana shouted. "You think you're ready to beat Misty now?!'
"Not quite, I'm sure she'll be swapping a Pokemon out so I should probably do the same and capture something new too. That way we've got even footing! It's time I finally catch myself an Electric type!" He knew he could just challenge the sisters but that would be taking the easy way out, he lost to Misty so it wouldn't feel right not beating her to take home the badge!
"Check it out!" Ash grinned as he showed off the Waterium Z.
"Oooh, I'm so jealous!" Misty gushed as stars filled her eyes.
"Congratulations Ash," Serena chimed in with a heavy blush.
"Heh, not bad..." Bea commented causing Ash to give her a look before she held out her fist to reveal Fightinium Z!
"You beat Hala, quite impressive." Lana spoke causing Bea to chuckle before giving Ash a look.
"You know it, I'm quite looking forward to our next battle." Bea smirked while looking him over which didn't go unnoticed by Lillie and Leaf as they gave each other a look. "It'll be quite exciting!"
"Definitely!" Ash pumped his fists with an excited look in his eyes as the two locked eyes with one another.
"Arceus, there's two of them..." Marnie shook her head with a sigh.
Lillie soon walked over with Nebby. "I-I hate to interrupt but Ash I-I think I found out what Nebby likes to eat!" She waved Ash to a nearby table where a pile of star shaped candy sat. "Professor Burnet placed these out and Nebby started to eat them almost immediately!"
"That's great!" Ash grinned as he looked upon the nebula cloud Pokemon. "I'm glad we found out we Nebby likes to eat, at least we know he won't starve!" He watched as Lillie placed Nebby on the table and the cloud was quick to begin gobbling up the candy!
"Yeah I was-" Lillie spoke up only to hear a growl as Morpeko landed on the table in his Hunger form, his eyes shined a bright shade of red before Raboot hopped up next to him and glared at him.
"Ra!" Raboot held out her paws only for Morpeko to tackle the rabbit, knocking her down and pinning her right up against Nebby whose cry immediately alerted their trainers to their Pokemon's acting out.
"Raboot!"
"Morpeko!" Zach and Marnie quickly raced to tackle their Pokemon and get them off of Nebby while Ash raced to pry Nebby away from the other Pokemon before he could get hurt! Suddenly Nebby's body began glowing a bright white causing the three trainers and their Pokemon's eyes to lit up before Nebby teleported the three of them right out of the house!
"Ash!" Lillie let out a panicked scream as Leaf and Serena rushed forward.
"Carrr!" Lucario raced forward along with May and Dawn as they examined the area while Sobble and Larvitar began crying out for their father's!
"Marnie!" Bea shouted forward in hopes of locating her best friend.
"Come on, Teleport doesn't go that far. They should be around here somewhere." Giselle stated unaware that the usual facts didn't apply to Nebby as all the way across the ocean and on Akala Island, the three would phase back into the plane of existence as they and their Pokemon were dumped quite literally into the volcano on Akala Island! Thankfully they landed on the rocky platform that was used for trials so nobody got seriously hurt, they were all just suddenly very hot and confused!
"W-Where are we...?" Marnie asked as she had to remove her jacket due to the heat.
"A-Akala Island I think, it's the only volcano in this region oddly enough..." Zach stated as he wiped sweat off his forehead. "That Pokemon definitely isn't normal, Teleport's not supposed to send you miles away like that!"
"N-Nebby do you think you can send us back?" Ash asked only for Nebby to stare cutely up at him as the three trainers sweated heavily, Raboot was the only one of the group that wasn't reacting to the situation.
"Maybe it doesn't know how to on demand? It could be a defense mechanism that kicks in when he senses danger." Zach speculated.
"Is that true Nebby?"
Nebby nodded in response causing Ash to let out a light sigh.
"Please tell me that at least one of you knows the way out of here, it's hot as heck!" Marnie explained.
"Of course, I completed the trial here!" Zach stated before giving them a light wave. "Come on, just up ahead should be where the Totem dwells. I can manage from there!"
As the three walked they could hear what sounded like a battle in progress.
"I guess somebody's doing their trial?" Ash questioned, the three started to speed up only to pause as three figures dressed in red were attacking the Totem Pokemon! A Magmortar stood at the forefront while two Darmanitan stood behind it. The Totem Salazzle was sweating heavily and looking worn out while the leader of the trio let out a laugh.
"Hahahaha, soon I'll have another powerful source of flame! Think of the carnage I can can do with a Totem Pokemon!"
"And the money, right boss?" One of his underlings spoke up.
"There will be plenty of that." Pyro reached for a Pokeball and prepared to threw it before it got shot right out of his hands by an Electro Ball! "Who dares?!"
"Hey! You do know that catching a Totem Pokemon will seriously mess up the ecosystem around here?!" Zach shouted out with a light growl. "The Pokemon around here depend on it to protect them and guide them! Just you do you think you are?"
"Hahahaha silly boy, girl...and same boy from before?" Pyro tilted his head as he picked out Ash. "Oooh, this'll be fun! I didn't get the chance to kill you last time!" The man licked his lips.
"Hey isn't that the kid that keeps messing with our plans?" Blaze asked as he noticed Zach.
"Yeah, thanks to him we didn't get the Master Ball!"
"The Master Ball prototype wasn't even there you clowns!" Pyro shouted. "The president of Silph Co has it! You can make your failure up to me now however by beating these fools! I'm going to catch that Totem!"
"Darmanitan!" The two Darmanitan began charging at the group, ready to attack as their arms glowed a bright white color.
Raboot prepared an Electro Ball without even waiting for her trainer's command.
"Hold up there Raboot, let me attack first!" Marnie spoke as she grabbed hold of a Pokeball. "Sharpedo use Surf!"
A Sharpedo burst out from the Pokeball, letting out a cry of it's name before forming a massive wave of water that towered over the Darmanitan and began crashing down upon them.
"Okay, now!" Marnie shouted as Raboot kicked off her electro ball, the electricity meeting the Darmanitan right as the water crashed into them and delivering quite the electrical shock before they keeled over in defeat.
Blaze and Amber gave each other a look before raising up their hands as they didn't want to send Golbat and Pawniard out in this heat! Both backing away while Pyro was too busy to notice as he started attacking some ally Pokemon that had shown up to defend Salazzle!
"That was quite... something!" Ash praised the Dark specialist as she lightly blushed though that could just be the heat.
"Thanks.. we should probably focus on the bad guy though."
"Raboot use Electro Ball!"
"Sharpedo use Aqua Jet!"
"Espeon use Psychic!" Ash shouted as he released his starter. The three Pokemon fired off a combined barrage of attacks. Sharpedo's body became covered in an aquatic veil as he zoomed across the volcano before crashing against Pyro's Magmortar, soaking it in water before an electro ball fired off at him giving him a painful shock with Espeon following up by lifting the Fire type up into the air before throwing it against the ground with a heavy thud thanks to her Psychic abilities!
Magmortar stood back up and slowly turned around causing all three trainers to sweat as they didn't appear to even put a dent into the Pokemon!
"Fuck!" Marnie shouted out in frustration.
"Damn it..." Ash growled while Zach clenched his fists and seemed to be thinking the same but he didn't say it aloud.
"You two already lost? Tsk, I'll have to think of an appropriate failure for you when we get back. Perhaps I'll burn you... oh who am I kidding? I love you guys, I can't stay mad at you hahahaha!" Pyro laughed as the three trainers gave each other uncomfortable looks. This guy wasn't just a psychopath he was also insane! "Oh well I can't wait to add another two Aura Guardians to my tally!"
"What's an Aura Guardian?" Marnie narrowed her eyes. "And whom are you speaking to?"
Zach began sweating nervously which thankfully went unnoticed due to the intense heat. Pyro wasn't giving a reply as he instead ordered out.
"Solar Beam!" Magmortar fired out a powerful blast of solar energy from his hand cannon, blasting Sharpedo, Espeon and Raboot all away as they all landed in defeat heaps in front of their trainers.
"Now do it again!"
"What?!" Amber shouted out as she and Blaze looked at one another.
Magmortar fired off another beam of solar energy before they could even send out another Pokemon, Nebby let out a cry of terror and another portal opened on up as a strange colorful Pokemon from it.
"Blacephalon!" It cried out before throwing it's head up into the air where it exploded into fireworks which fired down upon both sides of the field causing everyone to duck in cover as the Ultra Beast had joined the fray!
"What on earth is that?!" Marnie shouted out with an alarmed look while Zach quickly pulled out his Rotom Phone.
"Unknown data. No information on this Pokemon available!"
"Another alien,"
"This one doesn't seem friendly like Nebby and Poipole," Ash commended as the Pokemon turned to face them, his head having regrown as he fired off a Shadow Ball at them!
"So what is it, a Fire or a Ghost?!" Zach shouted out as he reached for a ball and sent out Lycanroc to assist them!
"Probably both!" Marnie spoke up as she released quite the peculiar looking gremlin Pokemon that neither one had seen before! "Morgrem, I need you!"
"Nidorino I choose you!"
"Nido!"
The three Pokemon gazed towards Magmortar and Blacephalon with all three groups giving the other glances as they were in a standoff.
"There's a word for this but the name escapes me," Zach muttered. "Lycanroc use Drill Run on Magmortar!" Lycanroc's body began spinning like a drill as she blasted across the field and slammed her body against Magmortar's, the Fire type grunting out as it was knocked back.
"Use Dig on Magmortar!" Ash shouted out as Nidorino burrowed beneath the ground and slammed his body up against Magmortar after resurfacing!
"Sucker Punch Blacephalon, Morgrem!" Marnie shouted as Morgrem quickly raced behind Blacephalon before reappearing behind it, delivering quite the punch as Blacephalon fell down for a moment before quickly rising back up. The Ultra Beast retaliated by lighting up it's head, causing a blue glow to emit from it before all the Pokemon present drifted off to sleep. Nidorino, Lycanroc and Morgrem all collapsed while snoring before being returned to their Pokeballs while Pyro kept Magmortar out.
"Wake up you fool!" He slapped Magmortar's back only for the Fire type to not respond. "Ooh you make me so mad, so very very mad!"
"Froakie I choose you!" Ash called out.
"Combusken, let's go!"
"Morpeko, I need you!" Morpeko shot off Marnie's shoulder while Combusken and Froakie burst out from their Pokeballs.
"No more games," Zach placed his Firium into his z-power ring before looking to Ash as if to say he wanted him to do the same. "With our z-moves combined there should be enough power to take down Magmortar and the alien!"
Ash nodded in agreement as he attached his Waterium to his own z-power ring, both trainers activating their respective z-crystals while doing their poses. Pyro tilted his head in confusion before laughing at them.
"Bravo, bravo what a show! Perhaps I'll keep you around as slaves rather than burn you once I'm done here!" Pyro laughed before going silent and clenching slightly as a massive fireball formed within Combusken's mouth, the Fire/Fighting type hurled it forward and blasted Magmortar and Blacephalon, knocking the two Pokemon against one another while a water vortex formed around Froakie before blasting off in the direction of the two Fire types, trapping them along with Pyro in the vortex and throwing their bodies around as Froakie leaped on out of the vortex!
"Aura Wheel!" Morpeko began rapidly spinning as an electrical ball of aura formed around him, the small rodent charged right into the vortex and delivered it quite the shock as the Pokemon within could be heard screaming. The vortex soon exploded in a geyser of water, blasting Blacephalon and the pyromaniac along with his Pokemon right out of the volcano as they could be seen blasting off into the horizon!
"You haven't seen the last of me!" Pyro shouted out as he flew away. "I'll get you next time you aura brats!"
"Boss!" Blaze and Amber shot right out of the volcano.
Ash wondered if they should chase after them for a moment before eventually dropping to his knees as the heat was getting to him. He could tell Marnie and Zach were in a similar boat as their hair was drenched in sweat! A bright blue light suddenly engulfed the volcano as Froakie and Combusken became encased in a blue light as beating Magmortar appeared to have given quite the experience to them and Morpeko! Froakie's body grew slightly taller as darker blue markings began covering up his face almost like a mask at first glance! His webbed feet also began changing into a dark blue coloring while a white bubble scarf formed around it.
"Frogadier the Bubble Frog Pokemon, it's swiftness is unparalleled. It can scale a tower of more than 2,000 feet in a minute's time!"
"Blaziken!" The newly evolved Combusken shouted out as he flexed his newly found muscles. Zach looked up at Blaziken with an excited smile before quickly pulling the Fire/Fighting type into a hug which Blaziken was quick to return.
"You evolved, I'm so proud of you!"
"Blaziken!"
Marnie walked over to check on the Totem Pokemon before coming to a pause, she dropped to her knees and pressed her ear up against the Salazzle only to not feel a pulse. "Guys I think... I think she's dead."
"What?!" Ash's eyes widened as he rushed over, quickly pressing on Salazzle's stomach as if it would bring life back to the fire lizard but nothing happened.
"We-We failed?" Zach dropped to his knees as he gazed upon the dead Totem while tears started falling from his eyes. "That can't be, we didn't do that... did we?"
"It's cold, Pyro must have done it otherwise it'd still be warm." Marnie frowned as all three lowered their heads along with their Pokemon. For a moment all was quiet but the volcano suddenly started to erupt while the Pokemon that lived within could be seen panicking and Pikipek could be seen quickly flying away in the sky above! Without a Totem Pokemon around things were going bad quick!
"Tapu Koko, we need you!" Zach shouted out as he slapped in his Tapunium z-crystal only it wasn't Tapu Koko who showed up much to Ash's surprise, it was a different guardian. This one's shell was a bright pink and had what appeared to be long strands of vibrant pink colored hair!
"Tapu Lele!" The Tapu flew over to the Totem Pokemon with great grief in her eyes before shaking her head. "Lele..."
"There has to be something we can do!" Ash shouted out. "How can we stop this?!"
Zach noticed Blaziken watching the frightened Pokemon with a protective look in his eyes, remembering how back when they first met he acted like a guardian of the forest. Maybe this was where Blaziken was meant to be as much as it pained him to admit it.
"Blaziken..." Zach spoke up as tears started coming to his eyes again. "I..." Blaziken placed his hand on his shoulder and gave him a light smile as the two knew what needed to be done. Images began flashing through their heads of the time that they first met and when Combusken had decided to join his team after discovering a kindred spirit, to them winning the Tapu Festival together with the rest of his team and then recently beating Gabite!
"Blaze..." Blaziken sniffed as the two shared one last hug before Blaziken separated from him and approached Tapu Lele. "Blaziken, blaze!"
Tapu Lele tilted her head before letting off a light nod, her hands glowed as she touched Blaziken. The Fire/Fighting type's body grew even larger than normal as an orange aura surrounded his body, Blaziken then let out a cry causing the volcano to calm down while the scampering Pokemon went silent and looked to him for leadership.
"I'll miss you Blaziken," Zach lowered his head as more tears began to fall before he suddenly raced forward and pulled him into another hug. "We'll win the Hoenn League for you, next time you see me I'll be a champion!"
"Blaziken..." Blaziken held his trainer as they knew it would be quite some time before they would see each other again, this was Blaziken's new mission in life to watch over the area and act as the volcano's guardian and protector!
The three soon flew back to Melemele atop a Ride Salamence, Zach was notably quieter than usual as he kept his gaze locked on the volcano behind them before it was finally out of view.
"You know I misjudged you, maybe there is something about you that is impressive after all!" Marnie spoke to Ash with a light smirk. "That Magmortar sure was something but together the three of us managed to take it down!"
"You were quite impressive yourself, it was cool getting to see Pokemon that I'd never saw before!" Ash exclaimed as Marnie blushed lightly before looking away.
"Maybe next time we meet we can battle," Marnie knew now wouldn't be an appropriate time and there wasn't much time left before she and Bea needed to return to Galar.
"Sure thing, I look forward to it!" Ash excitedly exclaimed as his fists pumped full of excitement!
Dawn and May immediately rushed for Zach as Salamence landed, the two frantically checking him over with worry as they wondered if he was okay.
"I'm fine, I'm fine!" Zach reassured them before they pulled him into a tight hug, snuggling themselves up against him with loving expressions.
Lucario's eyes glowed blue as he looked his trainer over before noticing that Combusken's aura was missing. "Carr?"
Raboot hopped off and began waving her paws as she filled Lucario in, the jackal lowered his head before gazing off in the direction of Akala.
"There you are!" Bea immediately tackled Marnie into a hug, laughing excitedly as she was thankful that her best friend was alright.
Leaf and Lillie rushed forward, Leaf pulling Ash into a hug while Lillie looked Nebby over to ensure he was okay before joining Leaf.
"Ash, w-we should talk... in private." Leaf spoke in a hushed tone, Ash tilted his head before following Leaf as she guided him and Lillie away from the others. "Ash, Lillie and I have been thinking that... we should get Serena in on this, that is if she wants to!" Leaf added as she glanced back. She didn't want to give Serena false hope so she hadn't said anything yet. "And you of course, your approval is also necessary!"
Ash looked off towards Serena and looked thoughtful for a moment before quickly nodding. "Serena? Y-Yeah sure, I mean I had a feeling that she... I wasn't certain though!" Leaf smirked before rushing off to fetch Serena who was quick to race right over before planting a kiss right on Ash's lip in appreciation. A smile crossed Ash's face as he wrapped his arms around Serena before returning the kiss as Lillie and Leaf watched on him with proud smiles. He looked down at the ball before letting off a series of crazed laughter as next time he encountered the rainbow hero, he intended on only one of them coming out of the encounter still breathing!
