Monoma was hiding behind a bush, occasionally taking a peek over it.

She was hiding behind a bush because she wanted to, not because she was stalking—Okay, yeah, she was totally stalking someone. But it wasn't her fault! She just couldn't help it.

Class 1-A think they're all soo amazing. Hah! Lies! She'll show them.

And what better way to show that she—and her class—were better than them than to humiliate them. One by one.

She was going to prank all of them individually and it was going to be amazing!

And her first target of the day was Izuku Midoriya.

She just couldn't help but cackle crazily at the thought, her volume slowly rising with her. She'll show them who the better class is! Show them how useless they are; how useless they must feel against her wrath! Ohhh, she just couldn't wait to see the look on their faces. She was going to rub it in for the rest of their school lives and, eventually, when the students of 1-A become pro-heroes, she was going to use this as blackmail. Then, she was going to force them to obey her every command. And finally, with a mass of pro-heroes at her fingertips, she was going to take over the world! The whole world will bow before her greatness and—

"Umm, hello? A-are you alright, Mo—monoma?"

Monoma paused in her thoughts and looked around, noticing she had stood from her cover of the bush and was now standing, cackling like crazy.

In the middle of the open.

And her target had found her.

Crouching down and back into her bush, Monoma looked up to Izuku. "You can't see me."

"But—"

"You can't see me."

"I can see—"

"You can't see me."

Izuku just stopped and stared down at her, his cheeks gaining a red tint. "I—I guess I can't see you then..."

Monoma just kept staring forward, her face blank.

"Uhh, so you're alright, r—right?" Izuku awkwardly asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

Monoma just nodded.

"So... do you want me to leave?"

Again, Monoma nodded.

"Okay..." Izuku trailed off, confused. He turned around and started walking off, heading towards his dorm building. Well... that was weird.

Monoma remained there for a while, her face still blank. Then, when Izuku was out of hearing distance...

"Ahhh, that was so embarrassing! He must think I'm a loser. Even worse, he must think I'm crazy!" She screamed, covering her face with her arms to cover her massive blush. "Now I bet he won't even approach me anymore! I'd be lucky to even be friends with him now, much less date him! I can literally die here!"

There was a reason Monoma had chosen Izuku as her first target.

So... she kinda, maybe, sorta had a crush on him. Just a small one, nothing too massive. So small, it wasn't even that—Okay, who was she kidding. At this point, she was basically in love with him!

How had she become this obsessed with him? She was always stalking him and watching him, trying to figure out every detail about him. She even knew what colour underwear he wears! That's so creepy and weird! But she just can't help it. Even worse, she just can't seem to get him out of her head. Almost every thought involved Izuku and it was starting to get in the way of her life.

"Oh man, what am I going to do?" She droned out, slumping back and laying down on the grass, uncaring of her uniform.

"What was that?"

"Hmm?" Monoma looked up and saw the underside of Itsuka's panties. She grinned. "Nice view."

Yep, she was a pervert.

Itsuka rolled her eyes and picked Monoma up by the back of her shirt. "What are you doing lying here?"

"Oh, you know, just enjoying the outdoors. The weather is so nice today, why waste it?"

Itsuka sighed. "Are you still at it again?"

Monoma hummed and tilted her head. "At what?"

"Don't play dumb. Were you stalking Midoriya again?"

"Pfff, me? Stalking? Unheard of!" Monoma laughed. She looked up and saw Itsuka giving her a concerned look, obviously worried about her. She sighed and nodded slowly. "Yeah, I was..."

"You're gonna have to stop, you know. It's getting in the way of your studies and social life," Itsuka told her. "Even I can see you're getting distracted more often. You're always staring off into the distance, even when someone's talking directly to you. We're all worried about you, Monoma."

Monoma could hear the sincerity in Itsuka's voice and that made her smile. She really does care about me.

"Yeah... yeah, I know. But I just can't help it! I really do think I've fallen in love with him, Itsuka... Hard." Monoma let out, bowing her head and started chuckling. "And he barely knows me... Heh, what am I supposed to do? Tell him how I fell?"

Itsuka grinned. "Yep. That's exactly what you're going to do."

Monoma's eyes widened and she leapt to her feet, sweating. "I—I can't do that! What if he doesn't feel the same way? What if he gets disgusted by how I feel? What if, when I tell him, some ancient wizard pops up out of nowhere and kills him—!"

Itsuka rolled her eyes and smacked Monoma upside the head. "Calm down, girl. Geez, I knew you had it hard, but I didn't know you were this crazy about him." She then smiled gently. "Just do it. You never know; he might feel the same way."

"Pff, yeah, I doubt it." Monoma huffed. She turned and started walking back to their dorms, shoulders slumped.

Itsuka fell into step with her. "And why do you think that?"

Monoma just laughed and waved her hands towards herself. "Have you met me? I'm a total and utter jerk. I don't get along with anyone except you. You're basically my only friend. And I'm pretty sure the whole of Class 1-A hates my guts, too, considering how much I insult them." She looked down, now speaking in a quieter voice. "Including Izuku."

"Hey, I'm sure Midoriya doesn't hate you. He puts up with that guy, Bakugou, after all. I'm sure he's not even fazed by you!" Itsuka smiled, trying to cheer her up. "Besides, you also have the rest of Class 1-B! They're your friends, too."

Monoma smiled, feeling slightly better. "Yeah, I guess..." She then bumped their shoulders together. "But they're not my best friend."

Itsuka grinned and bumped Monoma's shoulder back. "True that."

A comfortable silence settled around them. The day was still out and the sun was high in the sky, a gentle breeze blowing past them.

"But I still think you should tell him how you feel."

Monoma looked down to the ground, contemplating. Should she? Maybe she should. She'd been at it—stalking—for almost a month now and it was getting a little irritating. She just wanted to hold his hand and hug and do other couple stuff that she need not mention.

"Yeah, maybe... I'll think about it."

"There you go!" Itsuka said, happy that her friend might find reprieve in her stalking. She suddenly stopped and looked at her. "Wait, what about your pranks that you were talking to me about all week?"

Monoma just shrugged and grinned. "Eh, that was just an excuse to stalk Izuku."

Itsuka laughed.
