A/N So I was going to wait until the chapter reached it's appropriate about of words but I decided since you've been waiting and I'm updating my other stories too. You'd appreciate at least a quarter of the this chapter.

I'm working hard on this chapter because I want to make sure it wraps up in the way I envisioned you all would love to read it.

I'm really sorry that it's taken me so long and I'll try harder to get them done faster. I mean it. I hope you enjoy some family fluff. There is no drama in the chapter.

Enjoy! I don't own glee or any of it's characters or story lines.

Rachel walked carefully to the balcony with two mugs of tea in her hand, stopping just outside the entrance. She watched Quinn with eyes full of deep love and compassion.

Quinn was standing facing away from her at the edge of the balcony looking over the expanse of land and trees holding Asher in her arms.

He was going to be one-years old in just two weeks. Their son had a few struggles in the first few months of his life but he's proven many doctors wrong about his state of being.

Rachel could not believe how time had passed so quickly. She has had the most beautiful moments that she's gotten to share with her little family over the pass year.

Her smile dimmed a little though as she watched her fiance. It had been a trying year for Quinn. The case with Mr. Turner being one that had been dragged along a little too long, just recently reaching a verdict almost a month ago.

The things that were brought up during the trial and Quinn having to recount them was not only hard to hear but heartbreaking to witness, as her fiance was practically ripped to shreds on the stand by Mr. Turners lawyer but it didn't matter in the end.

Because Mr. Turner was sentenced two life sentences without parole due to the massive about of victims that were found thanks to Quinn's organization. They had all stepped forward and agreed to testify against him.

Quinn had lost it right there in the middle of the court room when the words: "We the jury, find the defendant guilty on all counts." was said out loud.

Rachel had hugged her and could feel all the tension, stress and unbelievable relief slowly drain Quinn.

The night that followed, to anyone else would have been a joyous occasion but ultimately Quinn just wanted to go to bed. Which Rachel understood. It wasn't that Quinn wasn't happy.

It's just that going through everything, recounting it all had weighed her fiance down and so that night Rachel did the only thing she could do.

She held her.

Rachel placed the two mugs down and walked to Quinn, wrapping her arms around her waist with a smile.

"Hey beautiful, I brought you some tea." Rachel said sweetly as she kissed Quinn's cheek.

Quinn smiled as she turned in the brunette's arms kissing her sweetly. "Thank you baby."

"You don't ever have to thank me for taking care of you."

"As sweet as that is I will always thank you for being you because you are the sweetest thing to happen to me."

"Quinn Fabray are you trying to get me in bed?" Rachel said with a smirk.

"Mmm, that depends. Is it working?"

"You never have to work to get me-"

"Rachel! PG there are impressionable ears in my arms."

"Well he's gotta learn how to sweet talk the ladies some how. Do you want him to grow up like Puck?"

"Oh god, I can't with you!" Quinn said as she burst into laughter. Rachel felt pretty proud of herself for making her laugh.

"Okay casa nova, what ever you say but we'll shelf that conversation for later and don't you ever compare my son to Noah Puckerman ever again."

Rachel snickered.

"And anyway you should be on you're way. Beth get's out of school in a half an hour and she's expecting you to pick her up today."

"Okay okay, I can take a hint. I'm not wanted." Rachel said getting ready to leave but was immediately grasped by the arm and gently turned into a searing kiss.

"You are always wanted Rachel Berry." Quinn said seriously.

Rachel swooned so fucking hard. "And you are always loved Quinn Fabray."

That was their thing now because both women struggled with those insecurities before they found each other again. It was to remind the other that they were always there.

"Now go bring our daughter home and I left a list of things I need you to pick up on the kitchen counter." Quinn said with a final kiss and a tap to the brunette's rear as she turned to go.

Rachel and Beth

Rachel sat waiting in the long line of cars and vans of what she refers to as the line from hell. It was the assembled line for parents picking up their children at the end of the school day and it usually took a century before Rachel could actually get to her daughter.

The brunette was next thank god. Her smile was bright when she pulled up and the back door was opened by her daughter.

"Hey mama!" Beth said as she climbed in, immediately leaning forward to kiss Rachel's cheek before sitting back in her seat and buckling up.

"Hey you! How was your last day?"

"It was good but honestly I'm just happy it's over."

Just because Mr. Turner was out of the picture didn't mean Beth was out of the woods.

Her classmates still made sure she knew she wasn't liked. Though it wasn't about her clothes any more considering Beth was now the best dressed child in school.

Her hair always done gorgeously and it seems now instead of laughing at her for looking poor, the kids were jealous.

Rachel and Quinn didn't pull her out in the middle of the school year because they didn't want her to have to deal with not only a new school environment but also the possibility of a different curriculum.

They had a family meeting between them and Beth agreed that she'd rather stay because even though the kids at school were the worst.

Their words didn't hurt her anymore because she knew anything they had to say wasn't true and she was happy.

After they had that conversation, they began school hunting for the following school year. Beth had to agree to the school that was chosen or she wouldn't go.

Finally they made the decision and she was to be sent to a private school that was known for their intolerance of bullying.

They had a uniform dress code so no children could pick on other children for their choice in dress.

They had students who pay full tuition and students on scholarship. They had respect for and supported the LGBTQ community.

The school had a wide educational curriculum with classrooms being a smaller size and had two teachers per classroom to give more one on one when needed.

The schools credentials were very high not to mention the price had Quinn choking on air but Rachel said her daughter deserved the best education without worrying about being bullied.

So after asking Beth than getting the okay, they went to the school personally and was given a tour.

Beth was vibrating with excitement over all they had to offer. Quinn was also floored and could not wrap her mind around the fact her daughter would be attending such a prestigious school.

Beth has been waiting all year for this and finally today was the last day of her ever having to step foot in her present school ever again.

"Well I have to give it to you. You handled it like a champ. Now how about we pick up some ice cream as a reward for all your hard work of putting up with those fools? Than you and I can pick up some flowers for mom?"

"Definitely!"

"Awesome!"

"I love you mama."

"I love you too honey." Rachel replied with a smile as she drove through the streets of New York.

Asher and Quinn

Quinn held up the flash card in front of her son with a blinding smile. He looked at her with eyes so blue they looked almost crystal like.

His dark locks contrasting with the milky complexion so much like Quinn's own, had her melting over him.

He could pass as more her son than Rachel's though he wasn't. Rachel and Beth's skin were closer in tone.

It was so odd that he didn't come from either of them but his features could pass as if he were.

With his complexion like Quinn and his pouty full lips that could pass as Rachel's own, It's like he was made to be in their little family.

"Come on handsome, show mommy how smart you are, can you say this letter? Can you say 'D' for mommy?"

Asher smiled this gummy smile with only two teeth at the bottom aimed at his mommy, his eyes sparkling just for her.

"Ma!" He squealed.

"Yes baby I'm mommy but can you say this letter? Can you say D?-"

Quinn was cut off as the door bell rang. Asher squealed than stumbled to his feet and bolted for the door dangerously keening off to the left as he ran. Quinn giggled as she jumped to her feet to chase after her little man.

"Get back here handsome!" She called and Asher squealed before startling and running as fast as he could away thinking she was chasing him for fun.

Just as he made it around to the hall Quinn caught him than tossed him in the air than caught him again. Causing him to squeal in high pitch laughter.

She walked with him in her arms as she covered him in kisses. She could not tell you how in love with her son she is. He completed her family in the most amazing of ways.

"You think it's mama at the door, don't you? Huh? I hate to break it to you little man but if it was mama she'd use her key." Quinn spoke to him in the sweetest way as she made her way to the front door.

As soon as she opened it a smile exploded on to her face. It was Shelby.

"Hey!" Quinn said as soon as Shelby stepped in the two embraced immediately.

"Hey yourself." Shelby replied than she pulled from the hug and did a dramatic gasps as her eyes shined at the sight of her grandson.

"Is that my number one guy?!" She spoke with affection and he grappled to get into her arms. Quinn chuckled as he squealed 'Na Na!'.

"Alright I get it, I get it. I don't matter anymore." She joked as she passed him over.

"Whose my guy? Whose my guy? I'm gonna eat you! I'm gonna eat you!" Shelby said as she faked eating his little belly as he laughed uncontrollably with his thrown back and tiny hands grabbing at her head trying but failing to stop her.

If you asked anyone else about Shelby Corcoran they'd tell you she's intimidating and seriously dangerous.

No one would believe their eyes if they ever saw her around her grandchildren because she was the biggest clown, fool and complete mush just for them and Quinn and Rachel loved her all the more for it.

Shelby did you get to pick up the-"

"Yeah it's in the car."

"Great."

Alison and Judy wine shopping for the bbq

Alison just finished hanging up the phone with her girlfriend with a huge smile on her face.

When she was younger she would always date some one she thought was her everything than she'd get her heart broken.

Over time she began to believe that love was just never going to be in the cards for her and she can honestly say she's never been more than happy to be wrong.

Jade Fabray has to be undoubtable her soulmate because she is everything Alison could have ever dreamed of.

So much so that she has a Tiffany's box just waiting to be given to her blonde beauty but first she has to get the blessings of Russell and Judy. She just hasn't found the right moment to ask.

Just then she heard a knock at her door. The red head furrows her brow in confusion not expecting company. She opens the door to see a guest she didn't expect.

"Judy? Hey."

"Hello Alison, I hate to come unannounced but I was tasked with picking up the wine for the BBQ and Jade assured me you have not only great taste but are a wine enthusiast?"

"She gives me too much credit."

"So is that a no?"

"Oh! No of course I don't mind helping. Let me just grab my purse."

"Thank you." Judy smiled.

Santana and Britney

"No, absolutely not." Santana said down the line.

Britney sighed. Another house down the drain. Santana was currently on the phone with their realtor.

They had seen this amazing house in jersey and the owners had just put it on the market but than they decided to up the price after she and Santana had agreed to buy it.

"Tell them forget it. Thank you Brice. Talk to you later." Santana hung up with a tired sigh.

They have been looking for a place for months but one way or another came up short.

"What did he say?"

"He said they weren't budging. Since the areas property value went up they want what they feel they deserve."

"I guess we'll just keep looking."

"Yeah.." Santana sighed sadly.

It wasn't that she and Britney didn't appreciate living rent free for once but they felt like a burden to Quinn and Rachel though the two told them they had nothing to worry about.

Santana's phone rang and the brunette smiled at the name. "What's up Rach?"

"Hey Tana, I know this is last minute, I have Beth with me and we're almost home but I completely forgot to pick up the charcoal on my way-"

"Say no more, hobbs. How many?"

"Thank you so much. Pick up three bags."

"You got it."

"Okay thanks again. See you soon."

"No problem, see you soon."

The two hung up and Santana couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Over the course of the year she and Rachel had become so tight. They were polar opposites but were some how still one and the same.

Now they met up sometimes for lunch, took in a game or two while Britney and Quinn would be doing whatever they were doing. Than they'd switch up and it'd be Rachel and Britney doing their thing.

She and Quinn shopping because Santana still had a wicked addiction to designer and was loving the fact that she could now actually afford it with her own money.

Other times they'd all get together and hang out. A good majority of the time Jade and Alison would join them on their couples night out while the grandparents would savor their time with the babies.

This new life was amazing and she never wanted to trade it for anything in the world.

"What did she forget?"

"Charcoal."

"Are you sure that's it?"

Santana paused for a moment in thought.

"You're right. Let me call the chef." Santana said seriously.

She realized that, yes, Rachel has been dealing with some memory issues ever since her accident.

Quinn, who everyone refers to as the chef now, since she's usually the one cooking during family game nights.

She always ends up short an ingredient or two when Rachel is tasked with picking up the stuff but she never and would never bring it up to Rachel.

Not after what happened the first time they realized the brunette was suffering the repercussions of her accident.

It was hard when they finally went to a doctor after Rachel's constant protest that she's fine, until she herself couldn't deny it anymore.

It turns out the impact to her head from the meter on the dash board was the culprit along with having her head bash in to the window.

Now Rachel has therapy to keep an eye on it's progression. The brunette being extra sensitive about the topic and Quinn not ever wanting to make her feel bad over it.

Quinn just sneaks over to whoever, whispers in their ear what Rachel forgot and sends them to pick it up because she knows Rachel would feel awful about it.

Santana calls the blonde immediately.

"Do not tell me your calling to cancel San?" Quinn spoke immediately upon answering.

"Hello to you too Q and no Brit and I are on our way but the Hobbs called me and said she forgot the charcoal. Is there anything else you might need?"

"Actually yes she was also suppose to pick up lighter fluid. Did she mention that?"

"Nope."

"Okay well than charcoal, lighter fluid, and large wood matches."

"You got it. See you in a few."

"Thanks san and remember don't menti-"

"Don't mention anything to Rachel about the rest of the list. We know."

"Thanks again."

"No problem."

With that the two hung up.

"Was there more?" Britney asked with a knowing smile.

"Yes."

"Okay, where to then?"

Jade and Russell at the airport

Jade stood outside of the gate Grandma Beth would be exiting from. To her left stood her dad. Jade can honestly say she never thought in a million years she'd be close to her dad again.

She never dreamed of maybe one day having her father walk her down the aisle to whoever she is going to marry.

Simply because of what happened the night Quinn left. A part of her hates to admit that at one point she truly hated her father for her sister's disappearance.

She's happy to have been wrong. She's happy to have him back as her dad again, for many reasons obviously but there was just one reason in the moment she's truly happy to have him back.

She needed his advice. His charisma and charm. She needs to know how to do the one thing she's beyond terrified to do.

"Dad?" Jade called nervously soft.

"Yes honey?" Russell replied.

"Um-I.. I don't really know how to ask what I'm about to ask without sounding weird but it is kind of odd but not really because we're in a day and age where women can do anything they set their mind to. We're living in a time were the impossible is actually possibly. So maybe just maybe I have what it takes and this isn't a stupid idea or a mistake. At least I don't feel like it is or maybe it's just that I'm over confident or-or-"

Jade jolted from her ramble when her father placed both hands on her shoulders and said calmly: "Honey just Breathe."

It was soft, relaxing, and so, so simple.

Russell took a deep breath and nodded his indication for her to follow his example. Jade began inhaling and exhaling. She began to feel her anxiety ebbing away.

"That's it relax honey, deep breaths. Good. Now do you feel better?" Russell asked.

"Yeah.. Thanks dad."

"No problem. Do you think you can explain to me exactly what you were trying to say?"

Jade took one more deep breath to settle her nerves. "I need you're help... "

"With what?"

"I'm going to propose to Alison."

"Well it's about time." A new voice joined the conversation. Startling the two as their eyes turned to grandma Beth as she exited the terminal.

"Wha-" Jade began only to get cut off.

"If anything you should be asking me for help. I'm the one who helped you're dad."

Jade's eyes fell on her father. He smiled broadly.

"It's true. I was a little chicken." He admitted.

"A little?" Grandma Beth cracked with a raised brow.

Quinn, Shelby and Asher, Beth

Shelby had been with Quinn and Asher for the better part of two hours. Quinn was still prepping for the big Sunday feast they hosted at their house every Sunday.

It was very important to Quinn and Rachel to have the family over seeing as how they missed out of so many years with their loved ones.

Grandma Beth couldn't travel every week but she made it every other Sunday flying first class courtesy of Rachel.

Even Santana and Britney's parents flew in one Sunday of every month. It was always full to brim with the only things that Quinn and Rachel cared about.

Laughter, love, amazing food, and family.

The list of people was simple, it was Rachel's parents, Quinn's parents. Their children. Jade and Alison, Santana and Britney and their children. Officer Schmidt and Sebastian, Marisol and Miguel. Alicia and her husband. Leo and his husband. Michael and his little brother. Timothy and his wife and young kids.

During the trial Quinn and Rachel unintentionally built a friendship with Mya and she brings her husband and kids.

It was literally a zoo when every person accounted was for. So with a large group Quinn recruits some help in the form of Shelby, her mom, Jade, Santana, Hiram, and Marisol.

Alison and Rachel can't cook to save their lives so they're not allowed anywhere near the kitchen.

The left over people like Alison, Rachel, Leroy, Russell, etc help set up the back patio. It works for everyone.

This Sunday though the list was cut down for a special occasion that meant only certain people meaning, Santana and Britney. Hiram, Leroy, and Shelby. Jade and Alison. Judy and Russell and Grandma Beth.

"Shelby could you get that?" Quinn asked after the door bell rings.

"Yeah." Shelby replied before wiping her hands on her apron and heading for the door.

The second she open's it her smile shines.

"Where do you want it?" Leroy asks.

Referring to the large box in his hands. "I'm assuming she wants it at the back patio. I'm not sure, she's in the kitchen."

Leroy nods than carefully steps back to round the house holding one large end of the massive box with the help of Hiram.

Just before Shelby shuts the door she sees another car pulling in. She watches as Santana and Britney exits their car with their kids.

"Hey, Ms. C." Santana says with a smile.

"Santana how many times do I have to tell you, you don't have to call me that."

"Yeah but how many times do I have to tell you I respect my elders."

"Hey! I am not that old!"

"Duh. You're, like, a total milf Ms. C." Britney followed up as they walked on to the porch.

Shelby and Britney exchanging cheek kisses. "And that's why you're my favorite." Shelby cooed as she pinched a happy Britney's cheek as if she were a child.

"Hey!" Santana piped. "You can't have favorites!"

"Stop calling me old and maybe I won't."

"But she just called you Ms. C!" Santana replied in outrage.

"True but she also called me a milf." Shelby cracked as she scooped down to engulfed the oncoming children as they rushed in squeals at the sight of her, showering them with hugs an kisses.

ALISON AND JUDY

Alison and Judy have been shopping for wine for about an hour. The two talked and laughed about all sorts of things.

In fact, Alison felt like this was her chance, seeing as how everything was going so great.

This would be the perfect moment to ask Judy for her blessing but at the same time she didn't want to because Russell wasn't present.

Not to mention the idea of asking such a question had her feeling queasy. Her nerves began getting the best of her and she wasn't feeling so sure of herself the longer she stood there trying to pump herself up to do it.

"Is everything alright, Alison?" Judy asked startling the red head.

"Y-Yes, why do you ask?"

"I don't know, you seem a little green."

"Re-Really?" Alison chuckled nervously. She felt like Judy could hear her thoughts.

"Yes, you seem like you're having trouble breathing."

"Me?! No, no I-I'm fine."

"Are you sure there's nothing you need to take about?" Judy asked innocently.

However to Alison the woman knew something. The red head feeling like Judy was just luring her into a trap only to laugh in her face with a, No, she didn't have her blessing.

"No!" Alison said to jumpy causing Judy to startle in surprise.

Alison began to feel like the room was closing in. Wondering why the hell she thought it was a bright idea to want to be the one to propose anyway. The red began to rush away.

"Oh would you look at that over there Judy! It's a di-AAAAHHHH!" Alison's scream was heard through out the wine store as she tripped over her own feet in a rush and tried to prevent her fall only along with her scream was the sound of crashing bottles bursting every where around her.

Judy's eyes were wide in disbelief. She rushed forward to help Alison.

"Oh my goodness, Alison, honey are y-AAAHHH!" Judy's shoe slipped on all the wine spilled on the floor and landed beside the red head. Both women now feeling the wine seeping into their clothing.

Alison sat up slowly and looked around with wide eyes. "Oh shit.."

Poor Judy was too in shock to do anything but lay flat on the ground staring up at the ceiling, wondering how her daughter managed to find and date the most accident prone woman in New York.
