Mavros POV:

Ozpin should have kept his nose out of my business. He was going to die eventually. It is a requirement to gain some of my power back, but keeping him alive was more beneficial to me.

He dealt with the backlash of my problems. Like he did with Cardin and his team. Probably other things too, but he isn't worth keeping alive. Can't have him spouting his theories to others about what I saw.

"HOW! You shouldn't be able to contain all the maidens," Ozpin yelled at Raven. She just raised her hand and sent a blast of flames toward him.

He summoned a green shield around him that caused the attack to envelop him. Eventually, Raven receded the attack revealing Ozpin unharmed.

Deciding to answer his question since he was going to die anyway.

"That would be because of me Oz," I said toward him causing him to glance at me before having to quickly dodge a much stronger attack from Raven.

"Hmm, Raven looks like you will need to step it up. Did you forget your not just a Maiden?" I said, giving her some advice. She glanced at me before her Maiden eyes grew slits in them.

Is she accessing her draconic aspects? I wonder what she is planning. I turned my attention back to Ozpin, who was staring at Raven in fear. Since she was starting to grow scales along her body.

"Oh, that. You said earlier that if I wasn't a GOD, the brothers would be able to defeat me. Well, when we first met. I would have agreed with you." I told him monologuing.

"What are you?" he said through gritted teeth.

"Well, I'm definitely not human and I can transfer what I am to an extent to others. Raven here is one of the people that have been blessed with this power." I told him. "She is a hybrid of what I am. A vampire and a dragon."

"Your lying. The GODS are the only true Dragons." Ozpin said, still watch Raven making sure she wasn't going to come at him when he was distracted.

"You would be wrong about that. Other Dragons do exist. However, not all are on an even playing field in terms of powers as the brothers. I would say only two other dragons would rank close to them. While two others rank above them," I told him speaking of Ddraig and Albion who would come close to the brothers in terms of strength at least if they fought together against one brother. While Ophis and Great Red are above the brothers.

Raven's partial transformation into her dragon form finished. She didn't call upon wings she just called upon the feet and claws of the dragon. Boosting her attack power and speed by a large margin. Surrounding herself in all of the elements and having it surround her body she used the force from her feet to break the ground and rush toward Ozpin.

Ozpin couldn't track her, but I could. She appeared above him in a matter of seconds. His aura must have told him something was above him because he tried jumping back to dodge her attack. Keyword tried because Raven was able to leave a nasty scratch down his face. Flames singing it causing more pain. Ice stopping the flames from spreading.

Humming to myself, I noticed what she was trying to do. She wanted Ozpin to feel the most pain imaginable before death.

Ozpin put a hand to his face before wincing in pain.

"Must hurt. Ozzy. That is only a fraction of what Summer went through though. So, be prepared for more." Raven laughed twirling four elements above her hands. She barely became a Maiden for all seasons even if one isn't at full power, she already has amazing control.

"It was for the greater good. If she didn't die Salem would have been after her for being a Maiden and having silver eyes. Her family would have been in danger!" Ozpin yelled at her.

Flaring her eyes in anger, she appeared in front of him Ozpin punching him across the room. "IT WASN'T YOUR CHOICE!" Raven yelled.

"That must have hurt, Oz." I mocked him. He pulled himself off the ground using his cane as support.

"At least tell me why. Why are you wanting the GODS to suffer?" Ozpin asked.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt letting you know. Well, disregarding that vision. They hold a portion of my power. Well, at least the key to it." I told him, get a confused look from him which looked strange with the claw mark down his face.

"What do you mean?" Ozpin asked.

"I've told this story way too many times now. It's getting frustrating. A little secret about GODS. They can lose their divinity. Like I did. I'm gaining it back. Do with that information what you will." I told him being annoyed at telling my story several times.

"You're a GOD? That doesn't make sense." Oz said confused. "There were only three GODS ever on Remnant. I felt godly energy on you, but it wasn't your own. How would you have lost your divinity?"

"You must have felt Ophis. She is my mate. Dragon God of infinity. You wouldn't have heard of her," I told Ozpin who still was confused. Raven was getting impatient and sent the four elements at Ozpin who managed to destroy three of the four but getting blasted with the wind element. His aura flared protecting him.

"I just want him to suffer why are you answering his questions?" Raven asked annoyed.

"To show him how pointless it was trying to stop me," I answered Raven unfazed by her annoyance. "Anyways, the third GOD that came to Remnant was actually me. Well, before I lost my divinity and my memory, but that part isn't important, at least right now."

"That was you," Ozpin said in shock. Gritting his teeth he grabbed his cane before activating something on it. "I remember you. You may not remember me, but I don't care if I die here. I'm going to make sure you come with me."

He started coming toward me boosting his speed with his aura. Raven appeared in front of him and summoning elements sent all of them toward him, but a shield formed around him protecting him. I saw his cane start humming with green energy. Raven didn't seem to notice the green energy forming around Ozpin cane.

My enhanced hearing picked up a humming noise from his cane. Figuring nothing could be good about this attack I decided to step in. Raven dropped her partial transformation and drew her sword at lightning speed. Bringing it up to meet Ozpin's attack.

Using my increased speed, I showed up in front of both of them bring my hands up stopping both of their attacks. Grabbing Raven's sword between my fingers I felt something strange coming from Ozpin's attack. It was like a change of inertia.

"Wha-" Raven tried saying in anger. However, I didn't let her finish before pulling her toward me by her blade and kicking her away with all my force. Knowing she could at least handle a hit from me. I saw blood fly out of her mouth before both Ozpin and I were enveloped in a green explosion.

[Health Lost 20,000.]

I will hand it to Ozpin. That attack actually hurt. Even if it was the last effort attack. That explosion set of another earthquake under the academy this one much worst than the last one. The academy should stand. Since I took most of the attack. Sighing to myself, I crushed the cane that I didn't let go of. The light cleared and Ozpin looked at me with shock.

Falling to his knees in despair. I wiped my mouth because I felt some blood dripping down. "That attack wasn't bad, Oz. However, not quite enough," I said, causing him to look up at me.

"Promise me. Make sure Remnant doesn't fall. That is all I ask. It's the only thing I've cared for all these years." Ozpin begged.

Raven flew toward us in her bird form before turning back to normal. She landed and held her arm across her stomach. "That hurt you know," she told me glaring.

"You're welcome, I saved your life," I told her, turning back to Ozpin. "I'm not going to promise anything. I want your last moments to be filled with fear. Fear of the unknown."

Raven drew her sword and put it to Ozpin's neck. Bringing it up she swung down to cut his head off. I grabbed her wrist moments before the blade hit his neck.

"WHY! YOU SAID I COULD KILL HIM!" Raven yelled getting annoyed at my interferences.

"I did say that, but you aren't killing him. You are making his reincarnation start again," I told her.

Ozpin's eyes went wide thinking he had one last trump card stowed on him by the gods.

"What is your plan then? If killing him, just reincarnates him," Raven asked.

I smirked putting my hand into my inventory. Drawing my mythical weapon. It seemed to hum in anticipation. Like it knew that it was going to be used to slay someone.

Raven backed up from the blade, in fear. "W-What is that?" she asked stuttering on her words.

"This? Oh, just a weapon capable of killing immortals," I said nonchalantly. Twirling the blade around effortlessly. Like it was a part of me. "Name is Backbiter. Since I promised you could kill Ozpin. I'm going to let you use it one time and one time only."

Handing the blade to her she picked it up like it was going to attack her. It vibrating in anger in her hands.

"It feels like it doesn't want me to wield it," she commented.

"It doesn't. I'm its master though. So, I'm forcing it to let you." I told her. Telling the truth because Backbiter was semi-sentient. At least to the extent of knowing who is using it and their attentions.

She raised the blade above Ozpin's head. His eyes locked on the blade with fear.

"Please don't. I'm not ready to go yet. I still have work to do," Ozpin begged. Raven started bringing the blade down. "PLEASSSSSSS!-"

His pleas were interrupted by the blade effortlessly cutting him down the middle.

Raven's hands started shaking violently causing her to drop Backbiter. Collapsing to her knees she started hugging herself.

"He's gone. Finally gone." she started saying fears falling from her eyes. "Summer, I avenged you. You'll rest in peace now, right? I did good, right?"

Sighing, I put a hand on her shoulder. "Raven, I'm not really great with feelings and all that. So, I'm just going to say what I would want to hear in this situation." I told her, being honest.

"Summer probably would be happy that her family is protected, but disappointed that her... sister had to deliver the final blow. However, she would know that you could handle the burden." I told her trying to be sincere.

"I'm not worried about killing Ozpin. This isn't my first kill. It's that this was the only kill that was personal. All the others were for survival." Raven told me still looking at the corpse of Ozpin. "I just wish I could know if Summer is happy now."

Not saying anything I got up and opened another portal. Turning back I told her how her wish could be answered.

"Grow stronger. Then you can speak with her yourself. After all, you share the Maiden powers with her." I said, grabbing my sword on the ground and walking through the portal knowing she would follow.

I entered through the portal coming out in a warehouse. Drawing attention to me from the people who were having a meeting. The fight with Ozpin must have been longer than I thought because Cinder was already there.

Getting on guard Cinder's eyes flashed red and her clothes started glowing. Mercury got into a martial art stance. While Emeral grabbed her revolver-sickles weapon. I'm going to grab them before I leave. Even if I don't use it often... okay not at all. I do have accuracy that rivals Deadshot.

"Who are you?" Cinder asked, on guard.

"Normally, I would play around with you, but honestly your just not worth my time. I was told in advance you were coming, so I'm here to kill you." Being honest and not wanting to play around with her.

"Oh, you think you can defeat me? One I doubt you could even if I was by myself, but I'm not alone." She said, casting a glare at Neo and Roman who got far away as possible from Cinder when they saw me. Mercury and Emerald coming up to Cinder's side ready for a fight.

It was at this time that Raven answered not showing any signs of recently crying. Looking to be ready for a fight.

Cinder got on guard after seeing the infamous Raven Branwen.

"Oh, that was why you were cocky. Having the infamous Raven Branwen on your side to do all your fighting for you. Cowards like you don't make it far." Cinder smirked at me thinking I was going to let Raven do all the fighting.

When she said this I couldn't help myself. I did a slight laugh before going into a full-blown laughing fit. Gaining confused looks from Emerald, Cinder, and Mercury. Raven sighing at my actions.

"Idiot, you should have begged to fight me. Might have had a chance since I'm a little tired from my fight with Ozpin." Raven said, walking away from the fight and sitting on a box in the warehouse.

"What are you talking about? This weakling isn't going to be any problem." Cinder said, throwing a blast of fire at me. Enveloping me in flames. "See, now you are next."

Raven shook her head at Cinder pointing at the flames.

The flames started vanishing in front of her eyes, surprising her. Which caused even more surprise when she saw the flames going into my mouth. After clearing the flames, I cleared my throat before looking back at Cinder.

"One, your flames had a horrible taste to them. Two, that attack was rude. I was having a great laugh. Three, you said that I couldn't beat you even when you were by yourself, but I had no chance because you had allies on your side. So, I took the liberty of getting rid of them." I told her dropping two bright red objects on the ground.

[Thief's Respite added into Inventory.]

Cinder looked down at the objects and her eyes went wide seeing two still beating hearts on the ground. Her eyes went over to her allies and seeing them still standing she thought I was bluffing. However, after getting a closer look noticed a hole in each of their chests and blood dripping down their mouths.

They soon fell over lifeless on the ground. She looked over at me seeing my eyes glowing red in the slight darkness of the warehouse. Also, from the smell of blood in the air.

Backing away in fear not knowing how I could have killed them so quickly and silently.

"W-What are you?" Cinder asked, looking around wondering how to escape.

"The worst opponent you could have ever face. Since your flames do not affect me and I'm just that much stronger. Don't worry though your mistress will soon be joining you." I told her, appearing in front of me claws being formed in the one moment and being droved toward her heart. Her instincts saving her and she jumped up causing my hand to go into her stomach. She gasped in pain and grabbed ahold of my arm trying to make sure I didn't pull out.

I felt my arm heat up around where her grasp was. My jacket melting away under her grip. She might have been able to hurt me. That is if my body didn't have very high endurance and was immune to fire. Honestly, my clothes melting was surprising enough.

"I-Idiot, you can't kill her. She is immortal." Cinder said, smirking down at me. Sighing I shook my head.

"Why does everyone say that? Nothing is truly immortal not even gods. Everything can be killed with the right means." I said, activating All for One Variation stealing her powers.

[All for One Variation Activated]

[Other half of the Fall Maiden retrieved]

[Scorching Caress stolen]

[+50 in all stats other than luck]

"What did you do? I feel so weak and I don't feel my power anymore." Cinder said, weakly.

"The Fall Maiden power was never yours. Your semblance was the only thing stolen. Even if the ability sucks." I told her. " Salem, not the only one that knows how to steal powers away."

After saying my last words to her. I ripped my hand out causing her eyes to go wide in fear. Starting to fall on her knees in a panic. Right before she was falling my other hand hit the side of her face, knocking her neck from her shoulders and her head went flying.

"Did you really need to knock her head off?" Raven asked me.

"She ruined a perfectly good jacket. Also, it's to send a message." I said grabbing her head and throwing it into a portal to her mistress. Salem is going to die soon, but no reason not to install hate into her. Knowing the plans she worked this long on was pointless.

"I see. Salem isn't going to be happy about that." Raven said, I could see her smirking slightly though.

Good, she isn't still upset about the fight with Ozpin.

Looking around the warehouse I didn't spot Neo or Roman anywhere. Finding it strange not seeing them because I figured we had made a deal. Figured at least Neo would stay. Wait... maybe... expanding my sense and activating my magic eyes, I looked around the room.

Raven glowed the brightest in the room having four different colors combined in her aura. However, not far off behind some containers, I smelled... Ice cream? Looking toward the direction I saw an outline of two people hiding.

"Neo, you know I can see through that illusion of yours," I said, in her direction. She dropped the illusion walking out from behind the container. Roman didn't follow her causing me to sigh.

"Just checking if it was a fluke last time." she used her scroll to tell me.

"Yeah, I don't know why he is scared, but I can still tell Roman is behind the container," I said, out loud and seeing the outline of Roman jump in the air before meekly popping his head out from behind the container.

"Haha, I'm not scared. Just observing." Roman said, with an awkward smile.

I just looked at him with deadpan eyes before sighing again. I've been sighing a lot lately. Getting tired of how people treat me. Maybe I need to go see Ophis. She won't care too much for talking and I'm getting tired of dealing with everyone.

'Partner?' Ddraig said, catching my attention.

'Don't worry. It's not Prime. I'm just tired.' I told him, being truthful, at least I think I was.

'If you say so partner.' Ddraig said, not believing me.

"Okay, I'm not really in the mood right now. I'm sure Neo told you of our deal." I said, getting a nod from Roman. "If that is the case. Do you accept joining me or go your separate ways?"

"We have thought about it and we think it's better to go our separate ways," Roman said, Neo nodding along with him. "Your life is much different from ours. We are criminals we live for the thrill of doing a crime and getting chased by the authorities. The little we know about you... we can tell you don't lead the same life we have."

"I see. I meant it when I told Neo if she helped me I would let her live. The one thing I will say about myself is I don't lie. So, if you two truly believe you are better on your own. You can leave. However, the chance to grow in power will leave with you." I told them.

Roman put his head on Neo's head rubbing it messing up her hair. She glared up at him, but not stopping him. "You know one thing that I've never cared for at least after adopting Neo was... power. I just wanted to give her life a lot of thrills and we both had a liking for the crime business, so that's where we ended up. I think we can live staying where we are." Roman told me, with a slight smile.

"Well, we wish you the best of luck. If you need anything the Branwen tribe will be willing to help, for a price of course." Raven said, walking up to my side. "Just ask for Vernal and tell her Raven sent you."

Roman laughed and Neo did a quiet giggle.

"Of Course. Criminals like us never do anything for free. The Branwen tribe is infamous throughout the Criminal Underworld. Most wish they could even speak with you. You giving us the chance to call in assistance by your tribe is already great." Roman said, twirling his cane around him and Neo walking toward the exit.

"Take care of yourselves," I called out to them. Neo smiled back at me and putting up two fingers Roman waved to me not even looking back. I feel like that may be in another life Roman and I could have been friends. Maybe if I would have started in this world first.

"We going to rest for the night or going to kill the big bad Grimm Queen too?" Raven asked.

"Why stop now? We're already this close. Might as well kill the last immortal then we just got the brothers." I told her, opening up yet another portal. Which is becoming a very convenient ability. Probably the greatest decision I made to steal Warp Gate. "Oh, wait. Here is the rest of the Fall Maiden."

Grabbing Raven's hand I transferred the power.

"Now you just need to learn to control the powers," I said, causing her to nod.

We walked through the portal and we saw Salem all alone in her throne room having destroyed the room with her magic. However, her thrown remained untouched. Cinder head off onto the side after it looked like it was smashed into the wall.

Salem noticed our presence because she raised her hands and black shadow hands raised from the ground grabbing us. Raven looked like she was about to break the hands, but looking at her I shook my head telling her no. She just sighed keeping her head down.

"YOU! You are the one that forced me out of their mind. What are you doing here? Was it you? Did you kill her and ruin my plans? I needed her to obtain the relics." Salem asked many questions clearly annoyed.

"Not very nice to hold your guests down. Especially, when asking them questions." I mocked her, causing her to glare and the grip of the hands to get stronger. "Well, to start. Yes, I did kill Cinder and send her head to you. I thought it would be a great gift."

"You have no idea what you've done. When a Maiden dies unless they think of another young woman some random girl will be chosen. Now my plans that I was so close to being completed are ruined." She said in anger.

"Okay, this is boring," I said, breaking the hands with a flare of dragon fire surrounding my body. The hands holding Raven being destroyed also.

"How? Who are you?" Salem said, glowing with a dark aura around her.

"Someone willing to grant your deepest desire," I said, vanishing and appearing sitting in her throne that she left empty.

"The death of the gods," Salem said, now intensely listening.

"No, your death," I said, watching Raven sigh and leave the rooms. Wonder if her senses picked up the guests that were eavesdropping.

"True, I crave death, but I would rather make the gods suffer. Then die." She said matter of factly.

"Did you not learn the first time or second time you went against the gods? They made you immortal, never to be united with your loved one. Then make you walk the world alone for hundreds of years. Finally, reincarnate your lover, but making it impossible for you two to see eye to eye. Causing the death of your children. Do you think that is the worst they could do?" I asked, truly surprised by her idiocy.

"They said they would destroy the world if humanity doesn't unite by the time they return. At least that is what Ozpin said. Meaning if the world is destroyed, I will be destroyed with it." Salem said, seeming like her knowledge is perfect.

"You don't have the power to force the Gods to do nothing. They would come back to hear your request. Laugh in your face and destroy the life on the planet and leave you alone once again. This time for eternity. Probably make you every night experience the death of Ozma and your children just to spite you." I said, knowing how some gods are and that would be a punishment they would do.

"They can't do that," Salem said in shock.

"That is right. They can't because you're not going to be alive for that to even be a thought." I told her grabbing Backbiter I did a slashing motion toward her. Then laid it across my lap. Her eyes glance to the sword before back up to me.

"You can't kill me either. I'm immortal." She said, causing me to laugh. She looked at me confused not knowing why I was laughing.

"I told you when you visited me in my mind. Even immortals can die and your not the first for this to be proven with." I told her causing her to look at me confused at my wording.

"I'm not dead though." She told me like I was an idiot.

"You've been dead since I've swung my sword. Your body just hasn't caught up." I said, standing up walking toward the door. Opening it finding Raven over the bodies of Tyrian Callows, Hazel Rainart, and Arthur Watts. She hadn't even activated her maiden powers and used her newfound power and sword skills.

Raven looked at me than Salem.

"I see, you already handled the Queen. Did you really have to pull the cliche move of delay killing?" Raven asked, with a smirk.

"You know how I am with the eccentrics," I said, causing her to laugh.

"Don't I know." Raven said sighing.

"DON'T IGNORE ME!" Salem yelled, bringing her hand up to cast magic. Her eyes going wide that her hand exploded into many slits of black blood and falling apart. Her body not healing her.

"I told you. You've been dead the moment I've swung my sword. Should warn you though. Those killed by Backbiter don't even get an afterlife. Their souls get destroyed by the sword." I told her, the doors to the throne room slowly closing. The Grimm Queen's body forming deep cuts and her falling apart.

Being in shock trying to put herself back together.

"NOOOO, I WANTED TO DIE, SO I COULD JOIN MY CHILDREN! DON'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE THIS WAY!" She yelled before her body finally caught up and she fell to the floor black blood seeping across the floor. The Grimm Queen that was like a boogeyman died so easily. Not even with one of her minions able to witness it. The door closed sealing the remains of the Queen in her castle to be left all alone.

"Well, Ozpin was worried for nothing. Cinder caused more trouble than her." Raven said, laughing. "Anyway, where to now... my King?"

"Don't need to call me that" I told her.

"Seems appropriate. You are my king and I'm your kin. Have your lineage flowing through me and everything." She said giggling, causing me to sigh.

"Suit yourself. How about home to gather the family then we go after the last relic? I have a sneaking suspicion that the gods will appear as soon as that last vault is opened." I told her causing her to shrug.

"Fine, with me. Allows everyone to say goodbye. I'm sure that Yang and Ruby will hate leaving Beacon, but they knew what they were getting into the moment they signed up for this." Raven said.

"That isn't going to go over well. If I can't convince their team or friends to join us. That will also hurt them. Let's hope it doesn't come to that." I said, about to open another portal before Raven stopped me.

"Let me do this one. Your portals make me feel queasy." She said, slicing her blade down infused with red dust causing a bright red portal to form.

"Fine, with me," I said following after her through the portal.

Author Note:

Well, this chapter was anti-climatic, but people should have seen something like this coming. Mavros has always been an eccentric character. One for theatrics in fights doing crazy things like letting himself be attacked and seemly killed before showing himself alive, but clearly not well.

Also, Mavros is strong enough to go against the brothers and put up a good fight. As shown in the vision of the future. Salem and Ozpin honestly stood no chance. Even Ozpin last effort attack only knocked half of Mavros's health away. Which came back soon after because of his health regen.

This story is going to be coming to the end soon. Honestly, I had much more planned like a Seven Deadly Sins Arc or maybe even him going back to BNHA. I've decided to still have Seven Deadly Sins Arc, but not a story where he ends up living in the world for a time. You will have to wait and see what is planned. The BNHA I'm thinking about just doing a few Omakes at the end of the next few chapters about Mavros popping into that world and doing something and what consequences his actions had.

Probably will be completely done by Chapter 30. Just got to clear some things up in DxD and then 7DS. With how long my chapters are Chapter 30 will probably be the end. Don't see it going past this mark, but who knows may go to Chapter 35. Doubt it though.
