Thank you to Frannie and Dani!

Day 18: March 30, 2022

Emmett

9:43 PDT

Los Angeles, California

There is a loud thump from upstairs in Bella's room, and everyone in the dining room looks at the ceiling. Jasper is working on some reports for work, Alice is working on her movie, Rose is trying to study, and I'm giving one of my assignments a solid attempt. We're all trying to work, but it sounds like Edward and Bella are trying to break the damn house around us.

"I can't take it anymore," Rose snaps.

"Yeah, agreed," Jasper nods.

"I think they need to have something else to do, other than each other," I point out. Alice winces slightly. She's fine with them being together, but honestly, they are so damn loud it's hard to ignore them. Poor Alice has been wearing headphones for days.

"When can we let them out?" Rose demands. We all look at Alice, who is staying adamantly on top of all new COVID updates.

Her nose scrunches up as she thinks.

"Well, the CDC wants fourteen days, but," she pauses as there is another thump above us. "I've seen some experts say that if there have been no symptoms for ten days, it's unlikely they are infected."

"How long has it been?" I ask.

"Ten days," Jasper supplies.

"That's good enough for me," Rose says, standing from the table. We all watch as she leaves the room, storming upstairs. A second later, she's banging on the door to Bella's room.

"Stop humping! Your quarantine is up!" she yells.

I double over laughing, as do the rest of the table.

We're laughing so hard that I don't hear what Rose says to them when the door finally opens, but eventually, Rose comes back downstairs, shaking her head.

"It's like a tornado ran through that room," she grunts. "I honestly am surprised. Bella hates working out. Now it looks like she's training to be an Olympian."

I lose it again and have to get up from the table for some water to calm the hell down again.

While I'm in the kitchen, Bella and Edward come in, both with a raging case of sex hair.

"God, I'm hungry," Bella moans. I grin and throw them both some electrolyte packages.

"Drink up," I chuckle. "Sounds like you could both use it."

Bella flips me off as I laugh and head back to the dining room.

They're finally out! Probably should have waited the full 14 days, but honestly, who could blame the rest of the house!

See you loves tomorrow!
